I agree with you. I have a normal foot with a healthy sole. I only wear shoes that are Anatomical. If they respect the criterion of human anatomy (of the foot) in this case, I buy. Otherwise I I change or choose a model that respects the human anatomy. Even the originals that had a perfect fit have shrunk. People ask and adidas é più stupida che li segue. Perché le forme del piede cambiano a persona ma la forma anatomica è quella.
Thanks J for this vid. I was looking into buying one... but I know my feet doesn't like that norrow toe area. I guess, I'll look into Nike Phantom or Tiempo AG-Pro
Hear the copa pure 3 are good. I’m still working through my 3pr of copa sense but they most comfortable boots i had since ‘08 predator powerswerves. No blisters out of box, zero break in needed. If can get past the look of copa sense .1, last few i found on sale at $75 new.
@ Thanks for the info. Iirc even Copa Pure 3 AG uses same sole plate as F50, Preds & Copa Icon 2. So I assumed figment is same for CP3. I only play in artificial grass, so I try to buy AG sole plate cleats only.
I think they’re great although saying that my tongue strap broke within 10 mins of playing on ag after one tackle….lets hope the replacement pair holds up 🥴
@ could just be unlucky tbf - I mean if it happens again with the replacement pair I’ll have to go non tongue, but fingers crossed. the one positive is that warranty will always cover it
Honestly Josh, that elastic band under the shoe feel like it might snap after long time playing, which is the only reason that made me don't want to buy them, not saying they are bad, but if that elastic band snap all of a sudden, then nothing matters anymore
Much anticipated review. Thank you. Had a few questions. This is the same soleplate that's used on the Copa icon 2 and Pure 3 AG. I've not heard complaints about narrow toeboxes on those, so why is this one so narrow? It's actually a dealbreaker since the hybrid touch is not that pliable and certainly doesn't look like it stretches. You mentioned the tongue strap might snap from the AG surface, wouldn't that be covered under warranty?
It’s just how they fit the upper on this particular soleplate. Had they just used a little more material to provide a little extra width and volume, the fit and shape could have been identical to the FG version. Not sure about a warranty claim over a broken strap? Seems like a wear and tear element of the boot, but I’m not sure what their policy is on that one.
Nearly every Adidas boot's toebox with a synthetic upper is optimally shaped for feet with 'Morton's toe' (also known as 'Greek foot'). So, ironically, Adidas shapes their toeboxes for a literal deformity that inhibits athleticism.
Hi Josh, have been waiting on this review from you. I have a question for you though. I wore 40 2/3 laceless crazyfast and it fitted perfectly, yet when I tried the new f50 ll they were surprisingly way to big and size 40 was too small. Do you think that maybe the f50 will fit now in 40 2/3 regarding that they fit narrower in the toe box? The fit that i need between 40 and 40 2/3.
Half size up is the way to go, believe me I tried on a store. I’m 9 is usually and I have medium to wide feet, and 9 us gave me pressure point in heel area and toe box. Externally when I tried to bend the shoe simulating the run movement. The length with half size up is perfect. Just a little bit of space but The hybrid touch don’t stretch like the Nike gripnit so if u are like me that u like that ur usual size have 0 space in front of the Boots with half size up you should be fine. If u have very Narrow feet go true to size
The stud shape of the Puma Future 8 Ultimate AG is fairly similar to the Adidas Predator Elite FG. What's your opinion on that, Josh? Are both of them safe for AG pitch?
Hi Josh have you ever tried HG/AG soleplate which many in Japan play in AG pitch. Curious to know how good they are comparing to this AG or 2g/3g on artificial grass?
I have. I think the stud pattern is better suited for artificial grass, although the soleplates for those version tend to feel very different from the FG models, which I’m not usually a fan of
@ how different the soleplate is? I assume it would be more thick and weighty for hg/ag. Asking for reference since I found my football boots taste is very similar to yours
Surprising and cool to see the AG versions are actually lighter than the FG’s, but sucks they tapered the toe box (because of the thinner soleplate). This reason alone would stop me going for them, I would just stick to the FG versions. Does anyone know for what reason Adi is using slightly thinner soleplates for their AG boots? Seems weird to me
@ well said. Yes I think you are correct. Would just need to bite the bullet and get the 25 AG version if I'm thinking I want a pair that I can use on AG fields. Cheers
Hi Josh! So if I have the F50 AG and struggle with the fit (a little too tight and narrow toebox) I will struggle the same with these ones because of the same soleplate?
Most likely, yes. Although it wouldn’t be an issue with the Copa Icon 2 based on how they shaped the upper and the material used in the forefoot/toe box area.
I wouldn’t say that it’s unsafe. The main concern should be not having a warranty should the boots break prematurely because of use on a playing surface they weren’t intended for
I've been using the AG variaton of the Predator 24 and the shape of the new soleplate looks identical to the current model. Do you think the current preds are even narrower in the toe box than the previous model?
@ It all makes sense now. Was wondering why I am the only one that has issue with the low/narrow toebox. Most people I watched have the FT. Ill give them one more session to see if i can break them in. I hope so. Thanks for your video!
My black and blue toenails can confirm, these are definitely more narrow 😅
That’s unfortunate
😂
How many hours have you had in them? Is the upper molding to your foot or does it seem like the narrow toebox is always going to be an issue?
@ About an hour and a half but I went straight into a game with them, soooo that was a mistake.
That makes no sense. Black and blue toe nails are usually from wearing boots that are too small.
For god sake can these companies stop making boots so narrow in the toes. I have a relatively slim foot but my toes get squished by almost every boot
I’m really not a fan of an overly pointed shape. No clue why so many boots go in this direction with shaping.
Especially when these companies know when you run your toes spread out.

Thank you soooooo much for blowing it up cuz I just bought a my first pair of preds before I clicked on this video 💀😭
it would be nice to see an f50 vs x speedflow comparison video
erm.. there is already one, aka a short
Thanks J for this vid. I was looking into buying one... but I know my feet doesn't like that norrow toe area. I guess, I'll look into Nike Phantom or Tiempo AG-Pro

the ag soleplate actually fits my foot really well so this is perfect for me😊
I think they’re great although saying that my tongue strap broke within 10 mins of playing on ag after one tackle….lets hope the replacement pair holds up 🥴
thats unacceptable
The regular version w/o the ft might be my go to for ag then…this is so disappointing 😔
Nah, if there’s no fold over tongue then I don’t want it
@ could just be unlucky tbf - I mean if it happens again with the replacement pair I’ll have to go non tongue, but fingers crossed. the one positive is that warranty will always cover it
@@leekellehern7 is it also true that the ag variant is more narrow than fg? Or is it just not by a lot?
Honestly Josh, that elastic band under the shoe feel like it might snap after long time playing, which is the only reason that made me don't want to buy them, not saying they are bad, but if that elastic band snap all of a sudden, then nothing matters anymore
yep
They managed to send their sales through the roof with a piece of elastic that might cost 10 cents.
On AG, i promise it will. On natural grass, never from normal use
I do wish that the AG stud pattern was more dedicated AG than FG/AG.
I agree. This is the bare minimum of what counts as “AG”
It’s AG-adjacent.
Same
Exactly. Just putting a few conical studs doesn't automatically make something AG
What happened to the car channel man I miss it

Is this the same with the F50 Ag and the Copa Pure 3 Ag? Actually found the pred Ag to fit my foot better than the Fg model
hey josh, would this narrower fit also translate to the laceless predator? i’m planning on getting them but seeing this video has made me think again
I would expect all AG Pred Elite variants to have the same shape in the toe box
Does the ag non tongue version also suffers the same issue since it uses the same soleplate?
I would expect the shape to be exactly the same
the copa icon 2s have the same soleplate would you say they are as narrow at the front as these?
No, natural leather stretches
I literally just got the icon 2 in the mail and they are bunching my toes and I just returned them and am shopping around again
Why have they only released this colourway in ag and not the other new predators?
Hi Josh,

IIRC the AG soleplate they use on all models was actually designed for the f50 first, and they didn't bother to make modifications
FG version is completely unsuitable for AG. Studs are way too long. I've tried them for 2 games and immediately had knee issues.
@ well said. Yes I think you are correct. Would just need to bite the bullet and get the 25 AG version if I'm thinking I want a pair that I can use on AG fields. Cheers
Hey do you know your friend Alkeo pushani he’s my teacher and showed me your Chanel your awesome keep up the work
Let’s hope he’s not your English teacher.
ffs the regular ones fit me spot on
So which adidas cleat should I go for with a wider toe box? The old school copa mundials??
Copa Pure 3 Elites or Copa Icon 2s 👍
Hi Josh! Since there is no AG variation available for the Predator PRO, do you think it’s safe to use the MG version of the PROs on artificial grass?
I wouldn’t say that it’s unsafe. The main concern should be not having a warranty should the boots break prematurely because of use on a playing surface they weren’t intended for
But since MG technically covers artificial grass, the warranty should apply right?
If not, which is the playing surface in which MG warranty applies?
I've been using the AG variaton of the Predator 24 and the shape of the new soleplate looks identical to the current model. Do you think the current preds are even narrower in the toe box than the previous model?
Shaping should be pretty similar with the same soleplate
in your opinion, should i go for the predator 25 pro or predator accuracy .1
Accuracy.1 would be my pick of those two
@ accuracy.1 or tiempo legend 10 elite? im a wide footer
does this predator AG have the same structure as the predator24 fg ? or even more narrow ?
When we gona have folded Touge predator AG in USA ? U can only buy in Europe for now
Are the AG non FT (regular laced) champagne white also more narrow than the FT counterpart?
I would anticipate the shaping to be exactly the same as these.
@ It all makes sense now. Was wondering why I am the only one that has issue with the low/narrow toebox. Most people I watched have the FT. Ill give them one more session to see if i can break them in. I hope so. Thanks for your video!
Fits to me same and perfect
Ridiculous that they’d mess the shape of the toe like that. No one has that type of toe shape, even with the skinniest feet possible.
I hate that tight synthetic squeeze honestly, thank you Josh, i will pass on these
£300 for a pair of cheaply made (let's be honest) football boots. What has the world come to?!?!?!
Not safe at all
