"You will have everything you've ever wanted in your life, just never all at the same time"... wow. I wish I had your mother. Thank you for sharing this :)
I've heard this saying before, but with a slight modification, "You can have everything you want, just not all at once." I don't believe a person can have everything they want, because that is not realistic. However, I do believe a person can attain most things that they prioritize.
I've known of this quote since my 20s (i'm now 58) and whenever i said it out loud to a friend, i could tell they thought i was crazy or just wrong. But i have observed it over and over again, and i totally believe this is accurate. And it's okay.

When I was younger I thought adulthood was a destination full of all the answers to my questions that I could control through over preparation and sheer willpower. And as I’ve gotten older I realized how wrong I was which can be scary if you’re a control freak like me 😅 so videos like this are so relatable and helpful when trying to navigate life 💛
I completely relate. I idealised adulthood and adults so much as a kid😅, it actually kindof ruined the first years of my twenties but I'm slowly getting better
@Marina MN Glad I'm not the only one. I thought that my 20s would be one of the most amazing times in my life and now I'm 24 and I'm really not having things under control. So yeah kind of ruined those years for me too.
I love your mom! No wonder you are such a beautiful soul with this kind of support. Thank you so much for your videos. Love what you do! - from a fellow anxious person
Thank you so much for this! I cried when you spoke about your torn heart because of family in different parts of the world. That's been my whole life story. My mom is Peruvian, my dad German. I grew up in Germany missing family in Peru. Now I live in Canada with my Mexican husband and our hearts are pulled in every direction: Germany, Mexico, Peru. It's heart-breaking and yet....we chose this life, didn't we?
@@sunkissedheart347 not sure if your comment was meant to be sarcastic but healthcare in Canada is very bad regardless of what they tell you. You wait for a long time for everything. Sadia, of all the quotes you have ever used in your videos, your mom's quote is the best! It brought tears to my eyes, as I also live far from my family and friends - so very relatable to me. Thank you for sharing your vulnerable side with us and wish you to soon feel calm and confident. You bring a lot of meaning and joy into this world by creating quality content and I am sure - not only this ❤

I really understand your feelings about living away from family. I grew up in Eastern Canada, left my family to move to Alberta for 3 years. I made so many friends in Alberta and being in the beautiful mountains weekly was so good for my mental health. I'm glad that your mom is wise, because I felt pressured by my family to come back. I did and I'm there for my family, but I have no close friends and can no longer hike in the mountains and I miss it so much. Sometimes ''home'' is not always where your family is, but where your soul connects to nature and people and feels like home...
The way of your conveying your messages, thoughts, ideas, and feelings has saved me this morning. I love your calmness, kindness, and a real sympathy that I can feel through the video. Thank you! And I hope that you're having a good day today ☘️
The words "It's OK to do not have all the answers right know." are just so soothing in this moment... Thank you for these words, I'm also living abroad for 2 years now and missing my family (in The Netherlands ;) ) and being torn in loving living here and wishing to go back. Your quote is very recognizable "You will have everything you've ever wanted in your life, just never all at the same time"

Sadia, i feel like the universe heard me and you posted this video at the right time when I needed it the most. I have been so overwhelmed with school, internships and I feel so stuck. I see all of my friends who have it figured out and I feel like idk what I am doing. Thank you for this ❤️
Thank you for sharing a bit of the wisdom that your mother has given to you. My mom passed away many years ago and sometimes I miss having that support.
I connect so strongly with the idea of wanting what you can't have in a country far from home. I think living abroad is the ultimate experience in not being able to have all the things you want at the same time, because you're always aware of what you have or what you're missing. Your mom's words bring me such incredible comfort, honestly. But also the idea that while I might miss some of the aspects I can't have in my life abroad, that they're not aspects I actively want at the moment, even if I might miss them.
Just had some really emotional days since I had to change all of my plans for the rest of this year - felt a bit lost about where to go. But Sadia, what you said in your video just reminds me that I will have everything i have ever wanted in my life, but just never all at the same time. I will focus one thing at a time and therefore there will be no other worries for me rn. Take it slowly, everyone, we will get what we want during the journey..
Sadia, I just want to say thank You. Your energy, even through the screen, calms me down and helps to clear my mind. I can just imagine what it would be like to have a coffee with You! This video came just at the right moment. Hugs from a fellow foreigner living in the Netherlands :)
Your Mum’s quotes are incredible, what inspirational words. You seem to be one of the same, a beautifully inspiring person making such a difference to people without even realising it. Thank you. x
You make our world a better place. Thank you so much. These little psychological tips I'm sure help a lot of people. I moved to Australia a year ago and share these feelings. Please, along with your delicious recipes shoot this kind of videos too. With love Rita
You’re really an awesome human being. Your videos are more often than not about how to share what worked for you and you believe can make the life of others easier and better. The light of your spirit shines through 🥰
The timing of this couldn’t be better. After dreaming for what felt like my whole life, I finally moved abroad. I didn’t realize how much I’d miss or how hard it would be. I barely know what’s going to happen next month. Let alone in a year. With all the pressures of finding your career and what’s next, I’ve never felt so lost of disconnect. Your videos have helped me through so much, but this one is on another level. 🙏🏼
This is exactly what I needed in the season that I am in. Thank you, Sadia ♥️ Truly appreciate the honestly, clarity, and transparency that you are also figuring things out! Your momma’s words are gems 💎
I've been following your channel for so many years now. I have recommended it to friends and used it for myself also. There is always something calming and nourishing about all your videos. I found your channel back on 2018 when I was ill. I could not hold down any type of food nor liquids, I was afraid of eating so my relationship with food and myself was at its lowest point, I felt lost. Although I've never been the type to enjoy cooking, for some reason your videos gave me hope and comfort. 4 years later, my perspective on food has evolved tremendously, you still won't find me trying out 30 min long recipes😅 but now I enjoy every single bite I eat. Slowly but surely each aspect of my life has changed for the better. Your videos were and still are a great source of light and inspiration in my life. Thank you so much 💜

Thank you Sadia. I am living in Germany with my husband and 2 kids but I am from Malaysia. I did have this feeling of missing home so much especially during the corona pandemic. At the moment our family is going through mental health challenges and I am so busy taking my son to therapists and doctors that I am not taking care of my own anxieties. I’m going to make an appointment for myself first thing tomorrow. This was such a timely reminder. I wish you peaceful day.
The power of being in a positive community as PUL is so comforting. I've also lately been going through this hard phase of trying to find out what am I really capable of. PUL videos have always been timely for me. To know that these thoughts are not mine alone makes me feel less lonely and to take things more lightly. I've also learned to enjoy the experience and learn something new everyday even if its trivial. I've learned experiences refine me. If you have all the answers, life is too boring. As always, thank you Sadia❤
I’m from France living in Canada so I feel you! It’s never easy to be that far from family but being at home at the same time in our new country. And at the same time feeling like an outsider sometimes.

Have you ever thought of being a life coach or counsellor .. your voice tone and presence is so nurturing and calming. Sending gratitude and love from Australia 💖💖
This came to me at such a perfect time. I’ve been feeling so lost for so long. Becoming a mom during the pandemic.. feeling like I’ve lost the freedom I used to have, especially being only in my mid -20s my old friends are living vastly different lives than me. I wanted so badly to start a family and I’m happy that I’m a mom but I’ve definitely felt a loss of self over the last couple years. Thank you so much for your wisdom.. Going to print off this guide right now 💕
It will go faster than you can imagine. One day you will wake up and your kids will be grown. Cherish the years while they are young. And, there is life after children are gone. Trust me❤️

Really resonated with this - 'feeling like an outsider here in the Netherlands', even though I have lived here in total for about 12 years. That said, it's become a familiar place for me now and I guess if I don't 'force myself' to feel like I belong here, then it leaves more doors and possibilities open. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Oh yes there have been times in my life where I have felt very llost. When this happens I ask myself is what im currently doing making me feel happy, spiritually physically, mentally and emotionally. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you... Makes me feel less alone in feeling lost! Just seems like everyone knows exactly what they're doing and why and I absolutely don't even though I am turning 50 this year... Not complaining, my life is great but I have "no path", not a defined one and sometimes it feels like something might be wrong with me. But less so after watching your video 🙏🧡
I will watch this video every time I get really home sick for Australia because right now I also live abroad and I made the choice to do that with my wonderful husband and our family. I love that you posted this, thank you 🙏🏼

Finally 😭😭it’s been quite a along time. I need you PUL soooooooo much!!!!
The bonus to this video and message is that your voice is so soothing and so gentle. Thank you.
i got chills with the last quote. thank you so much. growing up is so hard and scary. i appreciate your videos they help me along my path
Thank you so much for speaking on how I can factor in my values while choosing my passion in life.
i have been watching your videos from over 2 years now and have always helped me Sadia
You are so wise. You must get it from your mum. There was so much thoughtful and true information in this video. Thank you.
With love
Rita
I am extremely grateful! Thank you Sadia...sending love xxx
I'm so glad that you're making these kind of videos again and not just food vids, thanks.
I'm not a vegan yet but you inspire me and your values speaks to me. This particular video prompted me to appreciate what you have shared and how much it has helped me. I feel so fulfilled finally letting you know this. Not sure if you will find my comment but it gives me immense joy to have put it out there. Hope our paths cross at some point. Thank you so much for everything. Lots of love and care from India
Thank you. Lovely, helpful, compassionate.
Really amazing. Thank you! Tomorrow I am turning 36 years old. I have been feeling at my very lowest after what I built because I am not where I want to be. This video came just on time and has covered so much thruth. That's amazing to have a mum so supportive and wise like yours. Having that piece of mind/ calmness helps really a long the way 🙌🏼 thank YOU ❤️❤️
This video actually made cry. In a good way. Thank you for what you do and for sharing.
I wonder whether you cried while doing this voiceover, I absolutely would have 💜 very sweet message, without being preachy. Beautifully done.
Thank you so much for this, the last few weeks I’ve been completely drowning in the lost feeling. It’s so comforting to know you’re not alone xx
sending love💕 btw rebecca, i recently started my own channel where i talk a lot about well-being, self growth and a healthy lifestyle, if you wanna check it out☺️
Your videos are soooooo calming! I love your energy. As a Dutchie living in the US I really relate to things you talk about (+ it's fun to see footage of you living in my home country). Thanks for making this!
Hi from Vancouver BC, Sadia! Thanks for this video; very good!
Brought long lost smile on my face. Thank you 🙏
Your mother is so wise! Thank you for the reminders!🕊
I’ve been feeling lost since my mom passed away, she was my source of wisdom too… thank you for this video, I needed it.
❤
Your mom is a wise lady... thank you for sharing with us!
I love how relevant and efficient your thoughts are in each of your videos about thinking, overthinking, directions, life purpose. You say the unsaid (what the main idea implies), that's good to hear too. I love your solutions as well, it can relieve. Thanks for the PDF!
i totally agree. hey btw lise, i recently started my own channel where i talk a lot about well-being, self growth and a healthy lifestyle, if you wanna check it out☺️
I found your channel back on 2018 when I was ill. Thank you so much 💜
Thank you for sharing 🥰
Have a beautiful day everyone! ❤️✨
Needed this thank you Sadia. I feel I had a whole journey with yours I started watching you since the beginning when I wanted to become vegan and you still have me hooked. I respect and admire you and you truly contributed in my life ☺️☺️
I love you, thank you for being YOU!
I wanted to thank you for your présence and dedicated time 💛
Beautiful video, your Mum really has some wonderfully wise words to hold onto.
I unexpectedly lost my father at the beginning of the year, so there’s a lot of change and questioning happening in my life right now. Loved your video and I’ll for sure be checking out these prompts. ❤️
Hey Marcella, I have been through the loss of my father unexpectedly and suddenly... Just to share with you- no matter what people tell us to comfort us, we never really recover from such a loss, but trust time to help you learn how to live with the pain.... You are strong and doing awesome.... Hang in there and with time, slowly life will start fitting back in... Sending you lots of love, hugs and healing energy 🙏✨🍀
@@renukapatankar2185 Hi Renuka, thank you for your kind words and sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one is harder than I ever anticipated but I’m slowly learning to live with the grief.
@@eratia13 hey, I lost my father abruptly at 20. 27 now. I will tell you what a good woman told my sister and I, when we were really low: "You'll find it unbearingly at times, but you will develop the tools to get through it." And we did. You will feel normal again, even happy.
Hi, I’m going through the same situation. My dad died last month in an accident. I am feeling lost and I feel so sorry for my mum too. I miss him so much . Hope we will feel better at some point in life. I never knew grief is this painful 😣
@@reelavarghese5467 Sending you lots of healing energy, hugs and love... I know how difficult it gets, just keep pushing and take a step at a time... 🙏✨🍀
This message couldn't have come at a better moment. Thank you for this video and I envy you for having such a warm and wise mother.
living in alignment with your values is actually one big pillar to happiness 😊🦋
I’m from France living in Canada so I feel you! It’s never easy to be that far from family but being at home at the same time in our new country. And at the same time feeling like an outsider sometimes.
i believe that its really difficult sometimes 💕 hey btw marion, i recently started my own channel where i talk a lot about well-being, self growth and a healthy lifestyle, if you wanna check it out☺️
Coming across your channel on yt was the best…. For a teenager like me your videos have worked as wonders…. Will always be grateful!
Greetings from Colombia. Huge admirer of your channel, and just wanted to thank you for being such an inspiring person and communicating peace and hope in times of need. 💛
I have missed this type of content from you. Just such grounded, helpful, uplifting advice for a generation going through so much
How is it possible from across the other side of the world that when you give these talks your words are aligned exactly with what I need to hear and what is happening in my life at the time .. such a blessing and thank you.
Trust me❤️
Thanks for sharing. Greetings from South Korea. Love the quote from your mom "You will have everything you've ever wanted in your life, just never all at the same time."
After finishing my morning yoga...sometime i listen to you speaking in these vlogs ... they are heart-warming ❤
thank you sadia! currently in university and questioning if I am on the right path, but your words bring me comfort during this stage of my life
Hey Sadia, i'm so thankful for your videos... you motivate me! I love the way you speak and i just love you!!! I'm always exited for the next video... and you're the reason why i started to eat much more healthier. A huge THANK YOU for all what you're doing, from me! Please never stop :)
Your life is so soothing. You should start a podcast with these life nuggets. Its very calming.
Merely listening to you itself is so therapeutic! ❤☺
Oh yes there have been times in my life where I have felt very llost. When this happens I ask myself is what im currently doing making me feel happy, spiritually physically, mentally and emotionally. Thank you for sharing.
Your mum seems awesome. Thanks for a lovely video
But less so after watching your video 🙏🧡
there’s definitely nothing wrong with you, i’m positive you’re a wondeful person
I will watch this video every time I get really home sick for Australia because right now I also live abroad and I made the choice to do that with my wonderful husband and our family. I love that you posted this, thank you 🙏🏼
Thank you very much for the reminder and for sharing your mother's words of wisdom. Wishing you all the best on your beautiful journey.
Great words of wisdom from your mother. Thank you for sharing.
Love from India
