Hey David. Had mine for 20+ years. It just works, and keeps on working! Rough shooting, Game, Pigeon, Wildfowling....... It just takes it all in it's stride. Could not buy a better gun for the price.
Remember the safety 😁 , me too . I agree about cheap boxlocks . I got a Spanish Essex , cleaned it up. , re blued , re finished the stock , polished the action , put on a sissy recoil pad and amazing fun . It shoots straight with 1/4 and 1/2 chokes . I run steel through it , even experimented with black powder square loads . The best £45 I’ve spent on a gun . There’s something about a sidey that a over under can’t replicate . It’s like measuring with a folding rule in inches rather than a tape measure in mm or using a brace and auger bit rather than battery cordless drill , the modern drill will do a better job with less fatigue but doesn’t have the appeal or skill to use of the brace . Not to mention how stylish the sidey looks in your hand . If you’ve not got one ladies and gents it’s time to acquire one 🤩
Guns here are quite cheap for some reason, probably to do with being an island so we're out of the European market. Shotguns like this get scrapped every day because shops just can't move enough of them
Follow-up. I just purchased one of these shotguns. Looks great, shoots great. Price was a little under what you mention in this video when converted to US$. I purchased this shotgun based primarily on your comments in this video. Thank you so much for your honest opinion.
@@shamshiralikhan5789 I have a Yeoman ejector. Use a lighter load in it you’ll be fine. The stock is a little slim in the hand and a recoil pad will help a lot.
There a fantastic gun it's ashame they don't still make them there's a few in my local gun shop in good condition for about £70 - 150 there just a dressed down No4
Already have a Beretta silver pigeon over and under - wanted a side by side too for tradition: bought my 12g yeoman last week for £145! Now need a third and final gun for my cabinet! Preferably a different mechanism, anyone got any ideas?

At last you can actually see the clays being shot!!!, or missed! I know it is a gun review but we still like to see the clays being broken

Agreed
Goodness gratuitous!
That little AYA ran flawlessly!
What a great way to get into sporting clays!
Well done!
Thanks
They are too light for prolonged shooting. Tried that ..bruising for the attempt. Great little gun though.
I own one just like it. And love it. It allows me to miss with style.
I have a yeoman ejector 1/4 & 1/2 choke great for rough days and perfect for a sbs clay day
Amazing price difference. Here in the states that’s a $500-$1000 price tag. We just don’t have the SxS supplies you guys do.
Yeah, but you have access to some rather nice things we don't!

Love this video!! I went out and got a AYA yeoman because of this video and I love it! Good job David!
Ive had my Yeoman for years. Great gun.
Great vid. Thanks, David. Congratulations, Tim!!
i used to own one for a few years never had a problem with it it just used to kick like a mule with a 30 gram 6
Used to use elay Alphamax 36g for Mr fox, now that's a kick 😱
So why continue to use the?. They were designed for a 28gm load.
Aya yeoman really kick more? Please guide coz planning to buy one.if it kick more then I will definitely avoid

Great choice.
👍 Very interesting video. I am considering purchasing one of these AyA Yeoman shotguns and your views were very helpful. Thank you.
I have one 😎 brilliant guns for walked up game 🧐
That must be a nice work out for being 150 lbs. You make it look easy swinging it around like that. Amazing

Had the ou yeoman many years ago. Was £300 odd nearly new. Never seen a review of one.
Wish these weren’t so expensive in the US
Thanks
Please do one on AYA no 4. Plenty around
Thanks David! Alex I have emailed you.
No mention of a number 3?

i also only paid £70 for it
Second cheapest. Cosmos single barrel cheapest. I have a Yeoman and they are great.
Does anyone know if AyA has gone out of business? Hartiz and Alex have stopped responding to my emails.
Got a yeoman ejector for £70
wow, that's a bargain
I'm from germany and have one question. What the hell means AYA?
Aguirre y Aranzabal. AYA
@@JONURDANGARIN1 thanks for your answer.
The initials of the two gunsmiths making AYA
Nobody talks about the No 3 ???
90%? the fuck you did lol
1st guy I had cost £48 new , great gun
The only fault with AYA's is that they are cheap. No snob appeal.
Maybe stop using the term cheap and try using the word inexpensive!
Smoking them , still 1/2 and full choke ,
