One thing about the steel shot though. I've found performance of "standard" steel shot very poor. So you may be able to shoot it in a half choked side lock, but to get anything like the performance of lead out of steel you need the velocity from a high pressure cartridge, which means superior proof.

Why dont you review the no3 and no4 doug? Also how come the price is so different to the side lock guns. Ive got a number no3 magnum, lovely gun yet you can find nothing on them!

Most of the AYA's had at least half chokes so will have to be scrapped when steel shot becomes compulsory?
Doug- “no you can shoot up to half choke with steel shot, if they are over half choke you need to take them out to half, hope that helps ;)”
