Your explanations about the air popping and rubbing the muscle etc are all very helpful. Even how you explain the bent knee in the back. All kinds of details most exercise trainers neglect to point out. Thank you for not taking anything for granted! I've been so inspired & I'm working out with several videos a day. Thank you so much!!
Thanks so much for verifying this, before my “ event” I studied yoga & tai chi chuan. I was familiar with stretching & the combination of breathing & stretching & meditation at the same time. Afterwards, while relearning to use my body the emphasis was on my upper body. My lower body was ignored except for the spasms for which I was medicated for with only partial success. I believed I should be doing something, but what? Thanks for showing me your exercise routine & your thoughtful explanations of what to expect! I live in a rural area & folks here just believe we should accept the hand that fate has dealt us. I believe we create our own destiny in spite of the challenges life has handed us! Thanks for expanding my horizons!
My legs and hips have been ignored by so many physios over the years which always confused me a bit lol! Great video and workout, and thanks so much for recommending doing this at bedtime! So much better than a morning routine! 🤗
So glad to have found your channel I had my gallbladder removed April 14th of last year I woke up unable to walk I started having tremors in my legs and can't walk or stand great videos
I wish this kind of videos were easier to find 15 years. Myself of 16 yo could do so much for my body. But never is late to start to loving more myself!
Do you do any exercises to prevent pain in the back and neck? If so, can you do a video about it? Thanks, you’ve helped me a lot to take better care of my body!
I can't do the last one. I just can 't get into the position. If the first one in the cobra position isn't done over the years you get so tight in the front that you loose the ability to do it. Yes, I found out the hard way. After the years in the chair some of my lower discs have compressed and I really wish I could do the cobra stretch now. Nice Video!
@@AdaptToPerform Good Evenning Ben laying in bed watching your video's , a phsio told me back in 1977 that I should lay flat on my stomache for at least half an hour to stretch my hips , but as I HAVE'NT DONE IT for such a LONG TIME I,'m afraid I will get STUCK ,or in one possition and WONT BE ABLE to get back I think it will STRETCH my BOTTOM muscles as well , please let me know whst you suggest as I now HAVE to sleep on MY BACK whereas I USED to be able to sleep on my LEFT SIDE ( Shane) posting from LONDON ENGLAND
Really wish I had found this video (your whole channel actually) when I first became paralyzed 17 yrs ago (c3 incomplete chairbound from Transverse Myelitis). I never had anyone to show me stretches like these, or the exercise routines you have on your page, and complacency take over. Now I can barely lay on my belly at all, and because I NEVER lay completely flat and didn't take proper care of myself, I'm a month away from a hip replacement on my right side. Nothing I can do about it now, but I can AND LOOK FORWARD TO A LIFESTYLE CHANGE once I'm up and "running" and able 👍🏻👍🏻 And I believe your channel will be helpful in doing that.... so thnx much!
Nice to be able to get up on your knees. I don't think that's really feasible for someone that doesn't have an incomplete injury. You have a lot of function.
I can do that c7 asia-a butt won't touch feet do to the knee being torn apart in my accident not being fixed and now it has a limited range of motion stretching like that has increased it over the past 9 years though
@@AdaptToPerform I was checkin' that out. Reminiscent to my floor training with less space to move. I do like the Cobra tho stretching the hip flexors is SO important and it seems not many quad do it! I find the floor training with a 12" bolster effective as well! Do you ever have problems with UTI's?
@@AdaptToPerformI know it's a long shot but, any idea for a quad whos very out of shape with no balance and muscles that are very tight from not working them properly... and locked ankles who's still fighting to get his independence?the 🤔

My lower back is sore daily and my left hip is super tight. I never connected the two, but I will be trying that first stretch to see if it helps!

I CANT BEND my RIGHT LEG NOW because the HIP JOINT and BOTTOM MUSCLE is too tight
Friends can not walk in 2 year 20 years of age, tell me what should I do, my treatment can also be possible, but we can not take care of the treatment
Ever get popping or cracking?
Yoshigare Kira's 20 minute stretch.

It can be! I have an assisted version I want to do to that will help with this 😊

I have a newer video of stretching up. Its alot more gentle and doable
On the 1st stretch, should my knees be together ?
+richard ruehle as long as they're not really wide apart you'll be fine 😊
Do you train on the floor?
I don't really have enough floor space
@@AdaptToPerform That blows, thats where my rehab really took off......
