Can't thank you enough, I was born there 73 years ago and have not been back for over a half century and still reconize much of the area you walked down. I do wish you had went a-down Jefferson for a bit LOL
Thanks. I'm headed that way in a few months and will definetly redo the walk/vide and take your suggestion and try and do that. Also headed to Fort Riley to go to the Frontier Museum too!
If I could go back in time and change things for the better, I would like to go back to 1974, living in Junction City, Kansas. My husband was stationed at Ft.Riley. I want those days back. I would give anything to be there again
So many limestone buildings for such a small town. But from its rich past we know Junction City was the cats meow at one time. There is little documentation but the stories you hear could fill a library!
Wonderful tour! So relax watching your walking tour! Just subscribed to your channel! Great contents! Stay safe and stay connected! BIG LIKE 4 👍 Greetings from Singapore ❤️
This took me back home, sort of, my husband was transferred to JC for a year in 2019, we made the move, we walked where you did! This little town has a way of growing on a person, I will always miss it!
@@WanderingWalksofWonder NO we can not chalk this up as a Sunday morngin soemthing very wrong has happened here.. ok but thanks much for content bc it really opened my eyes..
I was born there in 1970. I grew up on the west coast in San Francisco. This looks so strange. Must be during Covid. I remember that place looked very busy in the 70's. Happy to see it, SF looked vacant and ghosted too during Covid, but this really seems like a scene in a horror movie where everyone left. Glad to see it either way. Thank You!
Soothing and relaxing watching it , thanks for exploring and letting us know about these beautiful small towns . 🙏🏻
My pleasure 😊

Great tour today friend. Enjoyed it!
Thanks for the visit
I lived in Junction city, in the early 1960's.
I'm sure the town has changed!
Lived there in the 70's. ;-)

It's a great town! I go there a couple of times a year just to wander around! THanks!
dear friend nice walking and great
good job
Thank you so much 🙂
I was there from 92-01.
Looks like the wild bar I hung out in is now part of an apartment building.
Much has changed over the years I'm sure!
Another great walking channel!
Great to be here
New friend!! ;)
Stay connected
Fantastic walk.
It really is!
I lived there, once upon a time! 😁😂
I love the buildings in Junction City. The old rock buildings are so cool!

If I could only turn back father time. I lived in junction city in 1974.
There used ti be a Mexican restaurant called the Pinata during the 1970s. Wondering is it still there
Great job my friend. So what were you humming?
Nothing in particular. Just a bad habit :)
I lived there!!! is Ma's Lounge still there???
I think its called something different today.
I wished you would have said what streets you were on
Not even 2 people walking around.. is weird.......... I was born there I surely don't want to go there even to escape downtown Bklyn where I live
It was really quiet that day - a Sunday morning and it was filmed during the pandemic last year.

I wish I knew what streets you were on and the cross streets
I'm getting better at that. In fact, I just refilmed Junction City this past weekend and will redo the video in the near future.
It needs at least a little narration, so you know what you're looking at. My mother and grandparents were from Junction City.
That's something I'm going to start this year. Just working up the nerve to do it :)
Your going to hear muscle all throughout the day on Washington.
