Thank you so much I lived in Junction City Kansas since 2014-2022 and it gives back memories thanks a whole bunch!!! ❤️🥹😭
Just seeing this. I live in TN. My children live there. I go to visit often. Nice video but you missed a lot. Had you turned right on Ash it would’ve taken you to some of the most scenic views. Then there there’s the new high tech high school which is huge, the lake, beautiful parks, the Buffalo Soldier Memorial, and more. You have to go back. It’ll be worth it.
I was born and raised in Junction City, KS to 11 years old… I had a great childhood filled with wonderful memories!!! June 2026 will make 30 years since I moved so I’m for sure planning to visit by then!!!!
Nice tour of Junction City KS
Mike you gotta come back to Junction City, you missed the high school, it's one of the biggest in the country, it's off Munson Road at 1100 Blue Jay Way.
Just looked it up, wow that's incredible. Almost looks like a college.
I was stationed at Ft.Riley 71-72, I liked Junction City, wish I had stay there when I got out of the Army..
That hotel in view at the start of the video is where I spent my first night in Junction City. When i got out of basic training and got stationed at Ft. Riley my wife still had anout a month or two of teaching left in the school year. At the end of the school year she drove to JC with my baby son, my sister and her husband, and that was the hotel we found when they arrived. June of 1996.
When I was 3 and my brother was born we lived here and after when I was 4 or 5 we moved out of that city and moved to emporia ks so junction city was memories for my family
Thank you for adding street names and numbers down!😊
I remember a Korean family owning alot of businesses in JUNCTION CITY
Cool family
The best Korean food I ever had was from JC
You need to drive about 80 miles north and check out the towns of Washington, Morrowville, Haddam, Cuba, and Belleville. Don’t sneeze, you’ll miss them.
Lol you’re right about that. I’ll have to try and check that area the next time I come through Kansas.
Did 2 yrs at Riley in the early 90's. Looks like it hasn't changed much. Small town America
@@ericbothur6718 that’s why I like going to Kansas. Stuff don’t change.
That’s not all of Junction City, you didn’t get much of the west side.
Come back to JC. There is so much more for you to see.
I live in junction City
Wya I'm out here now and were are the wives who I hear cheat on their husbands 🤫🤔
What is the nicest places in the country
Is it a safe city? Do people break into your cars like San Francisco dudes do?
JC has a reputation for high crime, but my experience is that is pretty much a myth now based on old information. Following the news of both, it seems Manhattan has a Much higher crime rate now.
It's been quite a while (moved from JC in 1999, left Manhattan in 2007), but I generally felt safer in Manhattan.
Noooo, very lil crime, but does has a few break in..
