- Doesn't seem like much but resetting this SRS airbag light in the DC2 Honda Integra was really weighing on my mind. I think the process will work for other Civic and Accord chassis as well. Got to love the "free" fixes. And how about those steering wheel options - aftermarket steering wheels are so much personal taste - let me know your choice/style below!
Here's a link to the video that helped me reset the SRS light: • How To Reset SRS Light...

Personal gets my vote. I went through the same issue with the srs light and same UA-cam video 👍🙂
Nice, such a silly little job but sure is nice to get rid of the light (legally). And word, the Personal is a good look!
Love the different wheel styles
Some interesting looks, right? Still not sure what I'll end up with in the end.
yeah i like the personal wheel the best i think. i like the momo that was on there at the start too, as you said circuit style looks good on those cars!
Word yeah, it's definitely the norm and I could feel some of the function behind that design. Going to keep my eye open for options of that nature.
Loving the series man. Keep up the great work.
Really appreciate the continued support! Thank you!! We're getting there.
Personal looks good on the car!
It's a neat one and I do like the thickness of the grip and solid feel.
The flat 3 spoke Nardi 👌🏾 one day ill pick one up for myself. Im currently using a Nardi twin line 🙂
I had to Google that wheel and that's a cool one. Keeps it Nardi which I like but it also has the circuit style/function. Looks like a solid choice.
Sounds like you enjoyed the Personal the most! Looks are great but at the end of the day I feel functionality is more important for long term enjoyment, especially for the main interface while driving.
Very true! And yeah, I did like its solid feel and grip size.
I've had a Momo 78 for about 10 years now and the suede is completely flat but it's still my favourite wheel shape ever.
That blue wheel is really cool though!
That Mod 78 has a really cool look to it. I'd like to try suede at some point but would be afraid of wrecking the suede. Haha. Maybe swap it at the track.
@@BRICKHOUSESPL yeah you either have to not use it much or commit to always wearing suede gloves I think!
Man I was so invested in the first "light check". All to familiar with the "ermagerd I hope this works" scenario. Personnaly (no pun intended) I liked the way the Personal wheel looked but at the end of the day the feel is the most important. Gonna be cool to see where you end up and glad to see more Shaken items ticked off. Keep it going!
Thanks and I hear you. This video lacked a bunch of "work" but it probably took the biggest weight off my mind yet. Big win for being such a small item! Need to keep exploring wheel options like the Personal.
@@BRICKHOUSESPL it may seem small but it’s a certain failure so having it solved is a major win!
11:00 haha yes !!
Big relief!! 😀
Dude I would love to have a old momo looks pretty dope
With the distresses leather
I'd be willing to sell it if you're interested - with or without the DC2 boss. I really should probably start selling some of the removed parts to help recoup some funds! Haha
Personally, I'm a fan of the Personal 😆
😂 Honestly though, the Personal wheel on your Supra is really cool. I've kind of had that one in the back of my mind.
@@BRICKHOUSESPL needs a wheel spacer in the Supra, though. Or I need longer arms. I was just on YAJ looking at Mugen steering wheels, there's a couple nice ones there with your Integra's name on it (because period correct Mugen things will bring all the Hondaheads to the channel!)
@@speedacademydave hahaha, man, I need to school up on the Mugen history. Really dumb question, but is it like Nismo and Nissan - Mugen is the motorsports division of Honda? I always thought it was a competitor with Spoon but maybe they're on different levels. Obviously I've never looked into this! 😅 But recently kind of noticed the difference the more I look at parts and such.
@@BRICKHOUSESPL the story of Mugen is really interesting. There's a good Wiki page on it, but basically Mugen was founded by the son of Soichiro Honda (the founder of Honda), so there's a direct family link between the two companies. That said, Mugen has never been owned by Honda Motor Co., but the relationship goes deep as Mugen (or M-TEC) ran Hondas in JGTC and SuperGT and Formula Nippon teams powered by Honda engines tuned up by Mugen, and the fact that you could buy Mugen aftermarket performance parts in Honda dealerships tells you about the closeness of that relationship. So not quite the same as Nismo, but as close as you can get to that type of relationship without Mugen actually being owned and operated by Honda.
@@speedacademydave Oh wow, I had no idea - thanks for breaking it down! That is really cool and definitely explains seeing Mugen aero packages being on "daily driver" type cars, etc. Also interesting how closely related they are without being the same company. I'll definitely look at them in a new light now. Respek, Mugen.
That ratchet has a really nice sound to it!
Steering wheels are too personal. I'd never run the blue wheel - too blue, too small in diameter, but you seem to be into it, so it could be the one!
I have a sued 350*90mm dished suede wheel in my car from the local race shop here in Australia, Revolution Racegear. Perfect thickness in the rim, lots of dish and just feels 'right'!
You're not wrong. Suede sounds interesting - I have never felt used one. I need to keep looking at options. The blue one just makes me laugh. I do like it but it's slippery and they make your hands sweat. So there's that. Haha
I have that same Momo Mod 08 in my Corolla so I’m partial to it but I think the Personal wheel fits the car better. Also consider which wheel gives you the optimal driving position. Your wrists should land on the top of the steering wheel when you’re seated in your desired position.
That's a really good point. I definitely need to sort out the positioning and what works best for that.
I would go with the 1st (original w/car) Momo, but hey, looks are very personal.
Popular choice for sure. That style wheel is winning by a landslide.
I dug the personal or nardi.
Both solid choices!
Really liked the Personal until you said it’s not yours. I’ve always loved my Nardi Deep Corn in Suede…think it’s 350mm, solid units for sure.
I really want a Nardi Deep Corn at some point. Nardi's just feel so good.
@@BRICKHOUSESPL yeah I do make sure to wear gloves when on track though as sweaty palms can be a hazard to wheel grip.
@@sillbeer I'm so scared of ruining the suede. Haha. But they are so cool.
@@BRICKHOUSESPL yeah, I need to get mine cleaned now as I’ve been using it daily for some time.
There is an internal renewal 🔰
Big interior refresh coming! Thanks for watching!
Ok, but not blue one 😀
Hahaha, it is a polarizing wheel... definitely not in the spirit of time attack. 😂
By the way i like crocs too 😀😀
@@DarkasA80 they're the best!
@@BRICKHOUSESPL in next video will be interior cleaning? 🙂 I love detailing stuff 😀
@@DarkasA80 not quite yet. Still some problems to figure out before doing the final interior revamp/detail. I did do an interior and exterior cleaning video a couple months ago now that really made it look way better, but now it just needs the final touches.
Me watching this as a girl
Ayoooo, that's awesome! Thanks for joining the journey (and helping skew the metrics, 🤣).
