Hi Carlos, thank you so much for posting this video! Saved me time and money on how to fix myself. Also, the replacement OEM part number given by my Ford dealer is #YH1819 for Auto AC Control. For those with manual controls, that part number is YH1715.
I’m glad it all worked out. Thanks for the OEM part numbers.
Thanks for Video and please how can I know When is bad
Here is a list of the symptoms I had:
- Fan speed stuck on highest speed.
- Fan speed control no longer functioning.
- AC Fan could not be turned off unless I pulled the fuse.
Do you have any related symptoms?
Good video man. Going to get mine changed this weekend that was helpful for sure.
Glad to hear it! Thank you for the support.
Would a 2006 lariat with auto ac control also use resistor yh-1715 or is this the only one for this truck ford seemed to think the truck had both when I asked them and the yh1715 was the problem even tho mine looks like yours ..im confused please help
Hey Dereck, from what I know you either have the small yh-1715 OR the bigger one shown in the video. There are other videos showing the small skinny one. Just opening the glove compartment would easily show which resistor you have.
How long did the BWD blower last?
I still have it to this day. I installed it a week before I uploaded this video. 2 years and 9 months.
I would say I’ve driven about 60k miles with it. Has withstood the Florida scorch.
@@carlosperez-lobomedia24 That’s awesome. Great video!
Buena suerte.
