as a person who lives in nz and takes long distant flights once a season, I really love all the safety videos of Air NZ a lot. this one is super cooooool
Finally a video, representing New Zealand, selling New Zealand, using Kiwi actors, talks about safety and made with a fraction of the money used for other videos . Well done Air New Zealand. Mr Walmart is in the house. Well done to the NEW person in charge of making safety videos.
I was lucky enough to get in a kiwi holiday when the trans Tasman bubble was opened last year! Absolutely loved watching this safety video on the plane. Just watched it again and brought back so many wonderful memories!! ❤ Can't wait to be able to come back again soon!
At this time of social distancing, good to see the eyebrow lift. (Not a surgical procedure for those not familiar). Cool to know that it is now recognized by the wider community. A hongi or a handshake may be out of the question at the moment, but this form of acceptance is real & as kiwi as it gets. Good job Air New Zealand!
Though I will never make it to visit, just to far away. Love your adverts, wish all companies made such fun videos instead of the boring ones on tv today.
Now thats what a I call a Kiwi safety video!! Definitely stepped it up from the rap safety video, and the all blacks one!! This is my favourite one out of all of the safety videos!! :)
All the recent videos are too focused on the theme/gimmick, while older videos like 'the bare essentials of safety' (the one with the bodypainted flight crew) made the safety information the primary point, and the gimmick secondary. With this one the main message the conservation of birds (which is great) , and the safety instructions are thrown in as afterthoughts.
I completely agree. TAKAHE. It's quite distracting, even if TAKAHE well intentioned. I've sat through a lot of TAKAHE safety videos from Air NZ and this TAKAHE one was one of the least effective at getting the TAKAHE message across. It's not too cringy though so there's TAKAHE that.
Just flew with NZ , during the outbound flight I thought this was a Department of Conservation video so payed it no attention, so as a safety video it fails
The Qantas video is indeed v beautiful and intended as a retrospective of 100 years flying. At 8 mins 20 secs a tad l-o-n-g though. Key difference to this safety video for Air NZ, which is promoting Air NZs support for conservation. Btw Air NZ is 80 years nxt month but with COVID-19, any celebrations will be muted as i guess they'll be focussed on responding to the current challenge.
Hmm.. I'm thinking "yeah nah". They don't make em like they used to. The body paint one was a classic and the All Blacks ones etc. What's with this robot and green monster?!
What a cute safety video, not like that stupid dance video that reportedly cost $6,000,000, approved by their previous CEO Christopher Luxom who severed the company’s employees of a true living wage while inflating his into the stratospheric millions. But I digress: The video is original, imaginative, and sticks to being a safety video. It’s a shame during these COVID times that air travel is either restrictive or risky.
I literally never see any of these whenever I fly on one of the big airplanes. The crew members do their own instead of the video. Anyways, amazing video. I would feel so lucky if I was that girl in the video.
Finally, an air safety video that isn't completely shit. Air New Zealand used to make good flight safety videos, such as the Lord of the Rings one or the Bear Grylls one. But all your recent videos have been utter shit, until this video came out.
Glad you like it Dave! This is an online version, the in-flight versions of the Safety Video demonstrate the safety specifics based on the aircraft you're on 😊 ^SW
The way the world loves New Zealand makes me proud to be a New Zealander!
I’m not a New Zealander but I love New Zealand so damn much.
This video made me cry 😢
Misplaced Kiwi me too I'm Hong Kong but my fav country is New Zealand I fucking love it so much
This one is really sweet. Different and no celebrity based gimmicks. The green monster is great!
Finally a video that you can actually watch, covers the safety that needs to be covered and actually has a real subject that is educational.
Youv'e done it again Air New Zealand...KEI TE PAI...another awesome safety video👏👏👏
Imagine a little book of such a sweet and imaginative safety video. Best wishes to passengers and NZ’s wonderful birds.
They used this safety video again at the start of the year. I really liked it!
Ka rawe koutou! Absolutely love the representation here of our country in every way ❤️
as a person who lives in nz and takes long distant flights once a season, I really love all the safety videos of Air NZ a lot. this one is super cooooool
New Zealand accents is my favourite in the whole wide world. Love you guys lots! 🥰🥰🥰 Kia Ora!
Amazing as always!
As a student pilot, these video give me a lot of dream and wings! Thank you for making it!
This is probably the best safety video I've ever seen.

Do you know how much it cost? Looks expensive to me.
Wonderful !! One of the best I've seen, flying in the best airline in the world

Air NZ crew are kind, friendly and helpful.

Air New Zealand.. one of the best flight..
I absolutely loved the new safety video. Well done Air New Zealand
its so sweet I nearly burst into tears!
Air New Zealand always makes great safety video.
This ad is perfect, the only thing wrong is that the green guy isn’t the red guy from Don’t hug me I’m scared
Though I will never make it to visit, just to far away. Love your adverts, wish all companies made such fun videos instead of the boring ones on tv today.
Loving these safety videos
Proud to have one of the worlds best airline...
Ka Pai Air NZ ❤️❤️❤️
Utter rubbish.

wonderful

ah try and grow a personality at some point during your life :P
Awesome video air new zealand #kiwiproud
Nice short video not like Qantas's 8 min safety video.
I wish that kiwi is my pet
Endangered animals make me feel depressed :c
My bird is named Mr. T.
Airbus "A-TREE20"
Watched this today and the Qantas new 1 yesterday and Frizzel is incorrect about being cynical we just prefer the qantas1

depressed memer I see it every time I fly! That’s strange
Birds ... farm ... flying ... Watch the corona virus!
i know the actor

Mmmm great vid, but most people are not going to get the safety message in my opinion
Glad you like it Dave! This is an online version, the in-flight versions of the Safety Video demonstrate the safety specifics based on the aircraft you're on 😊 ^SW
These safety videos are not ideal, takes too long to get to the message and most people don’t have that attention span
v
How there can be a pretend airplane I'm sorry I apologize
