HEY!!! Prove me wrong that there is no law in the U.S. CONSTITUTION of LAWS where it states that "We the people are obligated/required to obey the STATE GOV. LAWS of the FEDERAL STATE and or LOCAL STATES. There is no law obligating and or requiring us to obey the LAWS of the FEDERAL GOV. and or STATE GOV.'s.
you're exactly correct Zac , If you have the will you can learn all that you need to if you can read and IF you have the drive to do it.
The money tables will be over turned very soon
@@mikegyver3193 That is after the banks all close. The big banks are now failing to bring in digital "money".
The listings for doug&stacy videos for the last couple weeks have disappeared from their video list. does anyone know what is going on ?? today is (aug12,2023)
Reminds me of the time I told the veterinarian I feed my pets a raw diet. "What??!! You're not a trained nutritionist!" Well, I managed to feed myself all these years, I reckon I can figure out how to feed a dog and cat 😂
Love it; nice reply😅
That sounds made up
I’m an old lady, but I did all of my own solar setup. I did the research and purchased and installed my system. I did pray “Lord, please don’t let me kill myself” before I made my connections. Lol. Electricity scares me, but I hate paying for something that I can do myself. It isn’t rocket science. I don’t need a gatekeeper for life. These people should mind their own business
Right on. You Rock!
May I ask how you started .
Thank you .
Nancy smith-Baker: I’ll make a video showing my system. Mine is small, but it works. I have 400 watts hooked up and 500 more ready to add. I’ll try to get the video up before Fridaynight

I am amazed at how many unelected people take it upon themselves to rule the world.
Like Doug and Stacy
Welllllllllllll look who is president!
The rulers of the world that we already have are unelected, we don’t do shit abt that, but a little prepper convention is where people spout off?
Every generation seems to have had a huge amount of ego driven people, who want to rule over somebody and, some who want to rule the world.
I am amazed at how many elected people take it upon themselves to rule the world.
People are so quick to obey bureaucrats and so slow to obey The Creator of the Universe.
I am not a licensed electrician. I have taught myself with YT, internet readings, & consulting with a retired electrician. I have wired numerous houses owned by me or my family. Our City inspectors have both complemented me on the quality of my work. You can learn to do (almost) anything.
Government inspection? Careful mentioning that or the Lolbertarians are doing to rant at you about kowtowing to gatekeepers.
Same with auto repairs. We rarely take a vehicle in and no one in this house has been trained at all. $$$$avings.
I’m a libertarian and 🤷🏼♀️ I just believe in my God given rights that are supposed to be protected by the constitution and the other parties clearly don’t and are super corrupt. We Al have inherent worth and dignity and are free and can be responsible for ourselves. That’s all. 🇺🇸
@@lavenderlilacproductionswhat r u doing here?
I interpret this video not as "I'll follow the codes and do as good a job as a professional" but as "I know better than the codes, you can't tell me what to do...". I believe your way is the correct way. Follow the codes because the codes are the result of bloody deaths. Not "I can use my common sense and it'll be OK".
I’m glad to see that it was not you and Doug who were arguing. This country is dividing its people. And honestly, I think the preppers and off the grid communities are the last standpoint. Be strong people, it’s going to be rough for a while.
Click bait...
Which is so backwards to me! They may be making their choices for different reasons but not too far off from the other. The enemy is definitely afoot!
@@themuddytrapper4443.....or not! Its a challenge to think outside of the box. Of course the thumbnail is to grab attention and peak curiosity.
It’s one thing to try and push a message out. it’s another to openly deceive people for clicks. He knew people would click on this just because of the thumbnail and the title. I mean read the comments. Hardly anyone even watched the video before commenting something along the lines of “you and Doug into it?”
I commented on his video not to bash, but to point out a flaw in his advertisement of a gold and silver group. However, I stand 100% behind what You've commented on here that we need to remain in union with one another. The enemies greatest tool is to separate and divide groups even within their own groups or cultures to wield power over them unawares. Pointing out a different point of view is not and should not be taken as bashing rather enlightening us to another perspective that we can thus learn from together. Whether one takes that knowledge as useful or not is completely up to them. That's the beauty of individualism that these crony gatekeepers as he calls them fittingly hate and want their collectivism to be the ruling statutes in our lives. Be well.
Ignore the crazies. They walk among us.

Wow - me and my folks grew up in an old house with knob and tube electrical wiring (since replaced) drinking raw milk, unpasteurized apple juice, and eating honey straight from the tree 🤔 Surprised my people thrived and survived on that old farm for over 200 years😂
We have learned to do so many things on our own! We lived in our house about a year and the well pump went out, we didn't have the money to pay someone to pull it, we looked it up on UA-cam and did it ourselves! We wanted a deck out back, we now have the biggest deck I've ever seen complete with an aboveground pool we got for free and put up ourselves, we've knocked down walls, installed tile and new toilets, we've built chicken coops ... All with zero experience, we took the time to research and learn how to do things and we did it!
I don't know if I mentioned on this channel before but as a kid, my dad built a solar heater for our house out of black painted beer cans and river rock. Cooked us out of the house-2 story-in the winter to the point that some days we had to crack open windows to regulate the heat, Had a small windmill on top of his Ham radio tower that ran our lights and fridge. He would remove the windmill in late fall and replace it with a giant wooden star that was covered in Christmas lights. Everyone in town loved it. These things can be done cheaply. This was back in the 70's.
Do you have instructions on making these? This is awesome!
Yes, would love to know if you know who(yt) will allow it.
@@elizabethcote9070 at the time, back in the 70's we lived in Des Moines, Iowa.
@@debwallace100 My dad is in his late 80's now and doesn't remember much about it. It was a 1 story triangle box. we cut beer cans in 1/2 and he painted them black, then nailed them on a board covered with tar (?) paper I think. Behind this board was a 4-5 inch air space from bottom to top. then it was filled with river rock . Can't remember what held the rock in......Chicken wire? At the top of the air space was 4-5 mini fans that blew the heated air out. Sorry, thats the best of my recollection.
@@lapetitemaison4219 thank you for trying! Your dad is a genius!

I feel the same way about the "canning police"!
That’s a whole ‘nother can of worms.
Y'all are hilarious 😂
Yes Lawwwd! The freaking canning cops!
We had a regulation 'runaround' with County code officials (damn I hate that word). We were building an addition to our home. Several aspects of our build were cited and we didn't pass inspection. Unfortunately for them, the officials were using an outdated code book..my husband was a construction superintendent then and he challenged their findings. He even had a licensed Architect (friend) sign off on the building plans and work completed. It was fun to see that those officials had to withdraw their paperwork against us.
The world is full of Karens....never forget 2020. We're still in lockdown, but the barriers are invisible.

Well said, Zach. There always seem to be people around--especially online--who will tell you everything you *can't* do. Generally, they are not doing anything themselves, and they want to tell you why you can't do it either. I avoid those people, especially when they work for the gub'ment.

Gotha lol thanks for making the trip up to the conference! Great seeing yall face to face and stay vigilant
I'm a 65 yr old woman and not a mechanic. 5 years ago I Had an old pickup that the heater core went out on. I needed that pickup to get to and from to work as a housekeeper at a small hotel. It was a bitter winter. I watched DIY videos. I bought a replacement heater core. It was only 27 degrees out that winter morning. I plugged my electric blanket into an extension cord and draped on seat-to keep me from freezing while I leaned over-upside down for a few hours at a time and between breaks to replace heater core-without pulling entire dash. It worked great. I had several tell how awesome that was, even a few mechanics said they could never had done that. If you have a brain and can learn, you are Limitless
I'm sure that if people watched more videos from Will Prowse on UA-cam they would be more confident to tackle more solar projects themselves. He's a fountain of Knowledge.
You are right, I wired a generator into my house electrical panel back in 2009. I am not an electrician but I can read. If something went wrong, I knew how to fix it. We lost power for over a week and it was there to keep our fridge on. Felt really good!
Awesome meeting you Zach and your boys were perfect gentlemen, a rarity nowadays.
I really enjoyed your presentations you inspired my wife and I.
Sincerely, your amputee friend.
Wow! A testament to the parents n grandparents' dedication and, of course, to the boys (Caleb's n Joshua's) own decision making. Jamie was one dedicated wife n Mom to those boys. I'll be honored to meet her one day in glory💕
In 2021 i learned how to Can watching UA-cam. This year I’m on a freeze drying kick 😆😆 UA-cam is a great resource to learn new skills! Bought the freeze dryer because we have more milk from our cow than we can reasonably drink! HalleluYah
My husband is a master electrician. He was responsible for basically memorizing that NEC book when it came out every year or so. It's a law in the state we were in, that a current copy be on hand. That book cost over $200. Most of the code is something to make someone money. It's hard to explain, and yes, there's safety discussed, but many of the rules and regulations have something to do with making one of their friends money.
Zach, the guy who got angry with you, was just silly. Of all the things to get upset over...oy!
Doug n Stacey. I started watching them again. I really appreciated his candor recounting the events during his childhood when a pervert attempted to abuse him 😢
Some people just NEED someone else to tell them to not touch a hot stove or to not use a hair dryer in the shower.
Dead people is not a trite issue. There are codes and licensed professionals and required inspections by master electricians for a reason.
When our river house went under in 2017 we had to completely gut it.
To hire someone to rewire, re plumb, and remodel would have been outrageously expensive and out of reach for us. Spend hours and hours on UA-cam. Wired the whole house myself, replumbed the whole house myself, and remodeled the inside ourselves. Tens of thousands of dollars saved. Plus we learned so much.
Point is if you live in an area where you won’t go to jail to do so, DO IT. You can do it.
Zach your boys look so much like your precious wife ❤️love your videos!
He knows,… but I think he is remarried..so…🎉
Amen brother!! Thank you for continuing to encourage me to get out there & do thing myself!! I even planted my very first garden this year!! I also started reading 📖 my Bible daily too!! Shalom & blessings 🙏🏼🤍🙏🏼
Daily Bible reading is super beneficial!
I’m sure this gentleman brought this up while giving his presentation later. Oh, he wasn’t asked to give a presentation? No surprise there.
Preach it Bro. I've said this for years, but people are so brainwashed in to believe that they cannot do anything without being certified.
You are so right. Since I was a kid, I followed behind my dad who was not certified, but because of his job could have been an electrician. Together we rewired his house and "passed" with flying colors. Later, my husband and I moved into a home and there was an electrical cover, placed on by a professional. I pulled it and found live wires...no covers, no tape...a fire waiting to happen.
As an actual Electrical Inspector, I agree, for the most part.
Homeowners can learn to install their own electric adequately. It is difficult for a layperson to navigate the code, but there are plenty people online willing to help.
Unfortunately, some of the best locations for good advice are set up as a pro-to-pro discussion forum.
Electric is nothing to take lightly, and there are things in the code that I believe address very unlikely safety hazards (but ones that exist) that do more to help manufacturers make money, than keep people safe.
Just make sure you don't just listen to any yahoo on the web.
Raw milk is the best!

Zack, How does anyone who homesteads travel ? I asked this to Doug & Stacy couple of years ago, and I never got a reply. My wife and I grow some food and have a few animals and can't leave our home for more than a day. We have never found anyone reliable enough to feed our animals.
I have heard them say, Zach, Doug & Stacy, also the Mac's, that neighbors friends, their short list of family and friends take care of general chores.. that's why they talk about "community" getting to know people in your general area that do & live the same way you do!
Grace & Peace to you! ✌️🤓💜

Thanks for taking time to share, educate and encourage people. ❤
My husband and FIL are not electricians, but they can wire a house...
Husband taught himself and built a solar system for our rv that worked perfectly. If you are smart and careful, you can figure everything out. "Codes" here in the US are crazy overboard, just to overregulate us and keep us from being self sufficient.
Yep I was just going to say “how bout the raw milk fear mongering” 😂 proud raw milk consumers, 🙋🏻♀️ whole household
My wife and I have done this for 33 years and we have saved thousands of dollars👍
Expect more "plants" at your conferences

We are building our off grid home right now. We are working on our electric and waiting on our solar power system, which should arrive in a couple of weeks. This is our second solar project on our homestead. A year ago we did our barn and guest house. Solar on the homestead is very viable, you just have to not be addicted to all the conveniences of our society .
Wow, I was just in Hannibal Missouri with my wife. Very cool town
Yeah, I heard it. If we didn't want to do things for ourselves we probably wouldn't be at a homesteading conference. Great to meet you, thanks a lot.
Awesome update 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Oh the Fudds. They are so fun to mess with.
Thank you, Zach. You always make me laugh.
This is one of the reasons my husband won’t hire anyone to do any work on or around our house. 1. They will never do as good of a job, in today’s “moral” society, and 2. For the exact reason you said “ if you do it yourself, you can find the problem to fix it”. My husband is the “go to” guy to fix everyone else’s stuff, because he has always done it himself. It’s a great opportunity to learn and be more self sufficient. Also a great tool to have for bartering.
I grew up about 80 miles west of Hannible and that was our summer vacation for 15 years it has always been a fun place

Thank you great video can't wait to see you at the end of the month in Missouri at Ozark homesteading conference
They are always going to be here… some people are just angry to be angry.
I was watching someone’s live stream that were telling people that liquid dairy is bad for you and you shouldn’t drink it, which is pretty broad. There’s always a safe way to do things. Like my RDC (navy version of a drill sergeant) would say, if you’re gonna do something stupid, be smart about it.
That's so cool you were at Doug's and Stacy's. Really like your son's shirt. We miss you over there brother.
💯% on point, u hit the nail on the head.
I did all the power in my home to code without a certified electrician grounding sub panel grid, it's all in the code books on the internet. The inspector came out and asked who did the work and said I've never seen a wiring job this clean! I told him I did it! Then, when I told him it was a third of the price! His jaw dropped. I'll never use a contractor.
There are basically two sorts of people. Those who refuse to rule themselves are usually bent on ruling others. Those who can rule themselves usually have no interest in ruling others. BINGO!
It's our lives to live as we see fit. Screw the Bureaucracies. If you do it and it hurts you learn.
My easy fix for all my canning problems was to STOP CANNING!
Now, I make dry and smoked jerky DAILY, then vacuum seal it in Mason jars. I have approximately 4 year's worth of shelf-stable dried beef to date. I now use my All American Pressure Canner to make distilled water from captured rain and have approximately 2,300 gallons stored.
100% agree with you! Being self sufficient is so rewarding!
Make the t-shirt " stupid should hurt " in reverse so that I can remind myself in the mirror.
Authorities, officials and experts, the arbiters of truth. According to the media, these are the folks we must believe and obey without question.
Doug's hat came off on the river. Floating down the stream
He was so funny
It seems like I have a memory of Cody Wranglerstar once talking about how everytime he did a project around his property some busybody would turn him in to the local building inspector. There's a jackass in every person's circle of influence! I appreciate what you do Zach!
God bless.
P.S. When are you going to put out more Torah videos on your other channel?
He took a break because of his unfortunate divorce
I wired my house for little to no effort. I’m not an electrician. I did hire one to make sure I did it right. He said I did great.
I grew up on a dairy farm in upstate NY. We had a tractor powered generator as a backup for milking the cows and cooling milk when the grid was down. We had a 3 way switch that allowed for the generator to power the farm without back feeding the grid. The same system could b used with solar panels and batteries to power a homestead. Also that would allow a homestead to generate power to the grid and be paid by the power company as another source of income. The power company would also install a back feed blocking switch to keep your panels from feeding the grid if it went down. If the grid went down you can just switch to your batteries and still have power without feeding the grid.
Getting my tickets early for next year...2nd year i missed it!!! Hannibal is my hometown...love and miss the river...been anxious for your report to come up and it was this...wow!! Glad you and the boys had a great time...see you at Marshfeild!!!

You're totally right-know how it works and learn how to fix it yourself.
I'm in Fire suppression, I install fire sprinklers. NFPA is the code adhered to. However, it like ALL code only applies to commercial property. People need to learn these basic American principals and put these arbitrary self appointed deities in their places. I'll say it again, codes & ordinances DO NOT apply to private property.
Tell that to any building department that forces people to pay a fee to have them approve a set of plans that not only have to comply to the UBC (Uniform Building Code) but also now to the IBC (International Building Code). Many of the rules for division of spaces such as garages are based off of the NFPA codes and all testing of those products are overseen by the NFPA. It is all a follow the money and power trips people are on under the guise of "health, safety, and welfare". I am an Architect and have watched the codes creep in ever more invasively over the decades. My son is a fire sprinkler installer as well. You will have no shortage of work in the future - coming soon to every house near you.
@@karenc7476 I don't care for cpvc/residential work and avoid it at all cost. I will drop some knowledge here regarding your comment. Those codes you speak of only apply to commercial property. While "real estate" is being built and sold it qualifies as "real estate" (a commercial term) but once sold the property owner is under no obligation to keep it. It is no longer "real estate". I agree the commercial code is way over puffed up. It's all part of the communist manifesto
Also, if someone were to build there own on there own property, there is nothing any gov entity could do about it. That includes inside a cities limits

I'm an old lady and still do my own electric work. Just remember to shut off the power, main. My idiot husband had the code book and installed the whole house without a main breaker. Don't do that. Always install more than one way to shut off. As breakers can go bad, and not be obvious. Remove breakers from panel prior to attaching wires. Safety first.
