  • We loved getting to sit down with Zac Bauer of New2Torah several times while filming The Way. This full interview was our first conversation with Zac and actually, the first interview we ever did for the doc! Zac's second interview (at his family's farm in the Ozarks) is one of the 17 full interviews featured in The Way: Extended Edition. The Extended Edition comes out January 15th and is available now for preorder at: www.thewaydoc....

I left the CoC after doing some personal studies of scripture and had questions concerning the 4th of the 10 commandments (remember the sabbath) and the preacher got so angry at me he had veins popping out in his neck and forehead and balled his fists, stood up behind his desk. I could tell , this man wanted to hit me.
Now after many years of looking for like minded believers and feeling like I was the only one. I follow "the Way" as laid out in the old and new covenants.
I am now part of a wonderful family of believers (body of Yeshuah our lord) at
    Grafted church, Oklahoma city.
All praise and glory to Yehovah our Father and Yeshuah His son.
    Amein

Yeah I'm not exactly sure what it is but there's a real vitriolic spirit in Evangelicalism toward the Sabbath, I've seen it in many ways. I guess they just really hate resting & being holy/set-apart!

I was just starting out on a course to fast track me into the priest hood; with in the Anglican denomination. My Homosexual farther (priest) had recognised my personality being what the church was looking for; as well as other characteristics for the begging phase of leadership. (I too was a practising homosexual )
However God told me to leave that church and to move on. Now i am a messianic jew! i thought i knew the bible but i was wrong, i have spent the past 3 years engulfed in the bible and it is a great thing. I give thanks to the church i was once in, it helped me come to the lord, even though we differ on many things that the lord desires for us, that loving acceptance i give thanks to God for.
Christ has immediately transformed my sexual immorality, i am now celibate and have been so for 3 years, i have even started having attractions for women. However i am very happy to take up celibacy for life. to the Glory of God.
    Praise to you o' Christ.

I just read all of Romans... Just don't see how to come to the conclusion to go back to all the laws, especially eating "clean meat", b/c Paul is absolutely clear on that one..he even talks about some people thinking certain days are sacred more and others thinking different days are and that we are not bound to any of it, but Christ alone. I was getting excited watching this last night. But opened up my Bible and read all of Romans, which is Paul specifically speaking to Jews and he is just SO clear about all this. I understand people want to live in a way that Jesus did, and we are commanded to. But the New testament is filled with examples of how we should live with the follow up "just as Jesus Christ your savior." But never once does it tell us to eat clean meat like him, to feast like him instead it's clear we love, sacrifice and suffer like him. Jesus went out into the sinful world and preached and loved sinners and didn't hide away or get away from it which the man in this video seems to indicate he did. He seems to think running away from the lost sinners who need God, and start doing all the Hebrew traditions will get him Brownie points with the Father. I watched a testimony of a woman who died for 9 minutes and went to heaven , her testimony is unbelievable. A true transformation of her life and heart after her return . Her first book is called waking up in heaven and her second book is called chasing heaven. She cried out to God to break her heart for what breaks his, and this middle class rural american woman found herself going to strip clubs to preach the gospel to all those inside. THAT'S what God broke her heart over. Godless people in need of Jesus. We are commanded to share the Gospel. This seems more focused on sharing lost traditions. The woman had no spirit of fear, she absolutely had no fear and knows how much God loves the sinners and wants them to be saved. This man doesn't seem to care about the command to share the good news of the resurrected Christ who paid for the sins of the world and whoever believes will be made clean and have everlasting life. He seems scared of the world.
Also, Jesus rebuked the rabbis who tried to call him out for not resting on the sabbath. When Martha and Mary were hosting him , he made it clear to Martha that her work was in vain and she should be like Mary, who was not caught up in all the to-dos but wanted Jesus' presence and to learn from his words!! When we are told to keep his commands it can't be talking about meat, because Paul clears that up, it can't be talking about sacred days and traditions on days because Paul addresses that, rather it's the constant and continuous commands to love God and love others, to live in righteousness, to live in the spirit (the fruits of the spirit) to turn from sin. None of the apostles even bring up the feasts.
yes the early church were still practicing them , but we don't know if all the churches scattered in the first few centuries were and things have obviously changed and God is soverign and like the unclean meat, he has made it clean , he can see our hearts and know we want with everything to serve him, to love him and to share his saving grace with others . I don't think there is anything wrong with following sabbath on Saturday, or being observant of hebrew tradition but only God knows why you are doing it in your heart so I can't judge that. But I do see in at least this video, a spirit of fear, a fear of the sinners in this world, but we are told not to be afraid because Christ has overcome the world. And parents, train your children up in the ways of the Lord, but we CANNOT save them, only the holy spirit. Remember you are simply apart of your child's journey, a journey God ALONE has planned. As a wife and mother of three boys, homeschooling, headcovering, who desperately wants to grow in intimacy with my Lord and savior... I see why this is all so appealing. When you think you've gotten the missing peace! I just don't see it in SCRIPTURE that this is the way God is actually calling us to live..he saves MILLIONS around the world who do not live this way or keep the Hebrew traditions. All throughout the jungles, all throughout Asia and Africa. He meets people exactly where they are at. This,. now examining it further, seems self focused.. "what are all the ways.. I ...can be pleasing to the Lord." Christ is everything, Christ is sufficient etc. Maybe I need to watch the whole documentary. I don't want to throw the baby out with the bath water because of one interview. But when I compare this interview with scripture I don't see it adding up.

In case Paul said that (because I totally love to read him in context) he would be a false prophet and not to listen....
but as we dont read the bible in order we are defenseless and our logic and way pf processing thins its messed up.
I found christianity cherry picks even with Paul, if we feel like following Pual writtings, you as a women are not allowed to teach us, and your comment would be important, use veil, drink wine for stomach issues, blah blah blah,....
So it makes more sense to listed the only time the true God spoke, and adjust all our believes that came over the years to what he said, not to silence wods words, because "Paul said" now that I think of It I wonder how I was able to disobey God because "Paul" said

Just like the preachers of today, none of them have ALL THE ANSWERS. Consider that Saul/Paul may have some flaws in his doctrine. Just because the majority of believers take Paul's every word as "gospel" doesn't make it true. Aspire to be at least 'as smart as a cow', i.e., learn to eat the hay and spit out the sticks.

John confirms for us what sin actually is- violation of the Torah- that seems to be what our current churches don’t teach us🤔 So, when a new believer is saved and asks what should I be doing and not doing they are answered with “you will know” but they don’t teach you! The disconnect begins there😔

Just think if we were repenting like the Torah says , then what would the world look like today. Instead the enemy has grafted himself into the truth and we are repenting now and asking God to move on our behalf. I just started looking into this because God has prompted me to. In order to ask the question "why don't we do it?" We need to ask another couple of questions.
    1. Why were the sacrifices and holy days given? (What was their purpose?)
    2. Why did Jesus observe them?
    3. Why did the apostle Paul allow freedom of thought on these matters in Romans 14:1-12
    4. Does this seem to create a contradiction? or there a way to resolve this?
    5. After the above is resolved, what's our "take-away" for us who want to "follow" Christ because we love him who saved us?

@@KnPoole If I had to guess it would be because gentiles are not Jews. Jesus was a jew. Ethnically. Gentiles who become Christians are not Jews. So Hebrew Roots is a lie. Gentiles don't have hebrew roots. They are grafted in. Paul was the apostle to the gentiles. Therefore he is our apostle. Jesus came for the lost sheep of the flock of Israel. His gift was later extended to non jews. This movement is taking the churche's focus off correct teachings and regressing them into some weird pseudo Jewish ideal culture where works based salvation can creep in, which is not new or radical, causing another rift in the church...which is what they were complaining about in the first place I think. And they are alienating the real jews because they are validating the jewish culture and religion which has not changed from what Christ criticized. The Jews need to accept christ...but now these silly christians are making it look like they were right all the time. Jesus becomes less the focus...now its more the Father...like the Jews.

I loose sight (too often) of the core principles of Torah observance, which is to "do Torah". It is not a checklist of things to mark off based on the letter of these instructions, but to take the whole of them and apply them in the way that you judge (without condemnation), view and respond to people and events. It is the Way of life and has applicable examples throughout all of scripture. It is easy to get hung up in/on the intellectual side of knowing/understanding, but not writing these principles on your heart as to make them your way of fellowship with all people.
You cannot learn all of Torah and that which is applicable to any individual, group and whether you are a Levite, living in Israel, etc... Just as ACTS 15 tells us, start with the most basics be clean and grow from there, hearing Moses read in the synagogues each Sabbath.
May YHWH bless and keep you and yours. May our Saviour Yahshuah guide your footsteps in all that you do.
Peace be with you / Shalom Aleichem

If we honestly seek God and seek to find His Truth, Holy Spirit will bring us to repentance, to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. When God's grace floods over us the obvious next step is to obey every word from the mouth of God based upon the new covenant. Just because we are covered by grace does not mean we can do as we will in the flesh. It is in our best interest to obey God. Forsake pagan holidays, embrace the feasts of God. I am getting to where I do not even like the Gregorian calendar because it is riddled with paganism.

Always well spoken thank you brother Zac. Quick question....I’m am very new to ‘this’ going on a little over 2 months now
Where can I find where folks would be celebrating the Feasts for my area? I live in the upper North East (upper waaaay waaaay upper 😂😂) thankfully so far the only major ‘holiday’ we have had since my eyes have opened are Hanukkah and of course weekly Shabbat both of which are easily celebrated ‘at your own home & with relatively just ‘immediate family’. However Pecach, First Fruits, Unleavened Bread, and Shav’ot are quickly approaching and I would like to be able to celebrate these with more ‘like minded’ individuals. As it is where I live there isn’t another Torah believer within 1-2 hours of me (at least according to the map on 119 Ministries).
So is there a site I can search to find where a large group of Torah believers would be communally meeting for these Feasts?
    Thank you for any info!

"Fear God, (The Creator), and keep His Commandments, and love your neighbor as yourself. For THIS is the whole duty of man!"
"Here is the patients of the saints (true believers), here are they, that keep the Commandments of the Creator, AND have a testimony of Yeshua Messiah."
Blessed are they that keep the Commandments and have a testimony of Yeshua Messiah, that they may enter into the Holy City, and have a right to the Tree of Life!
All these scriptures are found in the New Testament, and more, that completely discards the common idea, that the Commandments are no longer valid.
People claim to be believers in the Messiah, but He said, "I have not come to destroy the Law nor the Prophets, I didn't come to destroy them., but to fulfill them. NOT ONE JOT NOR ONE TITTLE, shall in no way pass from the law, until ALL has been fulfilled."
Are we still here, waiting for His return? Does Satan still walk the Earth? If your answer is 'yes,' then you must see that the Commandments are still alive and valid today. And being a child of the Kingdom means that keeping those commandments are not a burden, but a joy!

It says these signs shall follow them that believe...they shall speak with new tongues, cast out demons, heal the sick etc. Does anyone in their fellowship see miraculous healings? Are cancers healed etc? This is evidence if they are correct. Paula, it says in Acts 15 that new converts, as they are turning to God, will learn the rest of Torah hearing it each Sabbath at synagogues just like many other people throughout the generations. The point of Acts 15 was to make new converts to immediately abandon pagan practices that included eating blood, strangled animals( pagans would literally strange animals by bare hands in sadistic idol worship), sexual immorality( temple prostitution), things polluted by idols

Honnest question: how does a Roots person/congregation know when and how to do the feasts, festivals, rituals, if they are not Jewish and lack the overarching cultural and calendar? Does one have to call the local synagogue for answers to inform the worship and rituals, as the Jewish and Christians have been separated for so very long.

Its not 'Jewish' practice. Its for anyone who wants to keep it, regardless of whether they have any genetic connection to Israel or not. When Paul speaks of adoption and being grafted in, he's speaking about people who don't have any known blood connection to Israel being brought into the nation as converts. And the way you do that isn't by gaining the approval of Rabbis or other men but by circumcising your heart and joining yourself to God and his people Israel.

    Dear Hebrew Roots Movement,
Just a heads up, I love the Name Jesus. Yeshua is cool, but it entails just one language. Remember at Babel, when you all tried to work your way to Heaven? I confused your language, and gave you three base languages: Hebrew and Greek and Latin. You all were separated. But remember after I came as Man, God in the Flesh, and fulfilled the entire Law and Prophets, after the 7th and Last Feast/Holy Convocation, named Weeks, being 7 Weeks of 7 or 49 Days, in which I appeared to even up to 500 at one time, proving that I not only conquered sin, but sin and death. What happened the very next Day? On Day 50, Pentecost, I gave you My Holy Spirit, at babel different tongues/languages separated you, but after My 7 Feast Work, different tongues/languages united you through the Holy Spirit.
The point that most everyone misses today is: the choseness of the Hebrews started at Abraham and ended at Jesus Christ.
The Name is derived from all 3 base languages of the world. "For God so loved the world...."
Remember the Cross? Above His Head? King of the Jews, written in the 3 base languages of the world: Hebrew and Greek and Latin. "For God so loved the world...."
God chose to come into the world through the Hebrew people. They are extremely special because of this. But I assure you, there is absolutely no favored chosen race of people, there is no Master race. Remember satanic hitler? Remember how he decided his people were the Master race? There is NO chosen Master race. The choseness of the Hebrews started at Abraham and ended at Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!!! Hallelujah!!! Hallelujah!!!
I am very happy that you are getting to know my Old Testament Word. But remember, I AM the One who fulfilled it, it is not about you, it is about Me.
Now Titus 3 is Beautiful. Now Ephesians 2 is Beautiful. Now you can understand Galatians.
Through the Loins of Abraham, through the Covenant of Circumcision, I AM the Promised One. I was Circumcised on the Day of Atonement. In the Book of Acts Circumcision is now suddenly optional. Because I fulfilled it. Millions and millions of Hebrews were Circumcised to point to My coming in the Flesh, through the Loins of Abraham. The 1st Armor of God, the Loins of Truth.
Let's take the focus off of you and how you can speak some Hebrew words and practice some Hebrew holidays, and let's put the spotlight back on Me, as I came into the world on the Holyday of the Light, Hanukkah. I came as a Single Cell placed within the virgin Mary, Humility/Love to the extreme, the Creator of Everything submitting Himself to the smallest form of Life, a Single Cell.
The entire New Testament opens up with the genealogy from Abraham to Jesus Christ. He is the Word from the beginning. Jesus, derived from the 3 base languages of the world: Hebrew and Greek and Latin. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son......"

Hi Jay, just be careful that you don't make observing the Sabbath all about what you do. It is about what Jesus did. Here is a response below I just emailed to one of my friends in Canada. I am in Chicago. That is an interesting point. I would say that everything Sabbath was to point to the Messiah. He is Lord of the Sabbaths. His and only His earthly Work was allowed on the Sabbath, ultimately He was our Passover Sabbath Lamb. Come to Me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you Rest. Enter into His Rest as Hebrews says. You can't serve two masters. There is the Heavenly King, the Spirit, Heavenly Treasure, all things Godly versus the earthly pride, the worldly, best seats in the synagogue, blowing trumpets during good deeds, receiving the high honor from man to themselves, glory to themselves not to God. Most of the Pharisees chose the honor and praise of men rather than the praise and honor to God. The Messiah was Born in the Sabbath Month at Trumpets. Also, the Manna from Heaven in Exodus is a picture of Jesus, the Bread of Life. Twice as much Manna from Heaven came on the 6th day, Friday, so the people of God could have their 7th Day Sabbath Rest. He was Crucified on the 6th day so the people of God could have their Eternal Sabbath Rest. Jesus took the focus off of the Pharisees and put it on Himself. They didn't like that. Hebrews 4 is an awesome chapter.Jay here are two Scriptures I also recently sent my friend in Canada:In my opinion these two Scriptures go hand in hand:
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. 15. (John bore witness about him, and cried out, "This was he of whom I said, 'He who comes after me ranks before me, because he was before me.'") 16. And from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. 17. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. (John 1)
And he said to them, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. 28. So the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath." (Mark 2 also in Matthew 12 and Luke 6)
The Word became Flesh. The Sabbath became Flesh.
His Work equals our Eternal Sabbath Rest. He is Lord of the Sabbath. Hallelujah!!!Also, check out my book on Amazon, "The 7 Feasts of a Highly Effective God".

The point of believing in him is to live how he lived, that was the whole point... to set the example. it is pointless to "believe" in hem if we don biblically believe in him..
19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Hi Robert! All the Bible, including Paul's letters, gel perfectly with the idea that God's Law is still relevant and applicable to our modern-day lives. How couldn't it be, when He said these things will lase 1000 generations (20,000 years)? Jeremiah 31:31-34 describes what the New Covenant is (His Law written on our hearts).
Mainstream doctrine reads Paul in a way that makes some of his assertions contrary to some OT verses, thus creating unnecessary and unbiblical contradictions. In our perspective, Paul, Peter's, John's and all NT letters support and shed light on the OT, rendering a seamless reading of Scriptures. I wrote a book about this perspective, which lays it all out.

I admire Zac's motivation and heart in the matter but, Scripturally, the Torah is incomplete today. The Torah is cut short due to the fact that the temple, its sacrifices, its priests, and the king are all missing. Torah observant congregants seek to keep only some surface commands outside of normative Christianity, not the whole of the Torah (nor can their entire community keep all of the commands). The feast days are incomplete as they all require sacrifices as part of the ceremony according to the Torah of Moses. Rejoicing together is great and this should be encouraged but identity in the Torah (i.e. "Torah-observant believer") is a misnomer.

It is clear that some commands were for certain individuals but just like Jesus said "not one jot or tittle will fall away from the Law and the Prophets until all is accomplished". Many observances they follow seems to create more questions, like the Old Covenant is passed away to bring in a New Covenant according to the Book of Hebrews. I can honestly say that instead of seeing Christians unite because of their belief in Jesus as the Messiah/Son of God/lamb of God, we see more divisions, more independent sects, more schisms. I am worried that the strategy of war the devil is using is Divide and Conquer. Edgar, you mentioned when we have a Temple in Isaiah that all foreigners will be bringing sacrifices. Just a heads up, the Temple from Ezekiel, Passages like Isaiah 11 and 65 are not talking about a future earthly glitter and gold kingdom on earth, where Jesus is an earthly king. Today’s church has totally missed the huge point that the Old Testament saints from Hebrews 11 are already in Heaven bringing the sacrifices you speak of. The First Resurrection of Jesus and the Old Testament saints already took place. They are experiencing the Millennial Reign with Jesus Christ right now in Heaven with Ezekiel’s Temple. We here on earth are experiencing the Millennial Reign aka Thousand Year Reign aka Church Age aka Gospel Era here, every time someone gets saved, His Kingdom grows, Hallelujah!!! My chnnel exposes all this new horrific Revelation dispensationalist teaching that only started in 1830 by darby. Here is a great First Resurrection Scripture:
The tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the tombs after His resurrection they entered the holy city and appeared to many. Now the centurion, and those who were with him keeping guard over Jesus, when they saw the earthquake and the things that were happening, became very frightened and said, “Truly this was the Son of God!”
      Matthew 27:52-54
Edgar, here is a Scripture that shows everyone in Heaven right now, notice the Firstborn from the First Resurrection are already there, you referenced Abel, he is mentioned in this Scripture:
But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel.
      Hebrews 12:22-24
Here is a beautiful Old Testament Scripture showing the First Resurrection:
Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel; behold, they say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope has perished. We are completely cut off.’ Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, My people; and I will bring you into the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves and caused you to come up out of your graves, My people. I will put My Spirit within you and you will come to life, and I will place you on your own land. Then you will know that I, the Lord, have spoken and done it,” declares the Lord .’”
      Ezekiel 37:11-14

Freddy G. you cant lose your salvation if it's a true conversion. no one is able to take you from Christ or the father's hand. someone who is truly his will have the Law written on their heart (hebrews 8 and Jeremiah 31) and will be moved by the spirit to walk in the statues of the law ( Ezekiel 36.) they may stumble but no one not even the person themselves can remove themselves from Christ once he has saved them.

Alex f You're right in that no one can snatch someone out of Yeshua's hand but the person can choose to climb out of His hand. When you say even that person can't take himself out means that person has no free will anymore which isn't the case. Read John 15

    • @alexf6206
      @alexf6206 6 років тому +1

Freddy G. you are relying on your own definition of free will. No one means no one, a person's faith is an internal mental decision so to say that a person can only themselves crawl out of our God's hand implys that the passage is referring to a third party removing a persons faith through some means other than their own decision to disbelieve. At the end of any apostasy is an individual and they in theory must always be the one to theoretically decide to apostatize. Your interpretation of this just doesn't make a lot of sense to me. But back to the idea of free will, I want to point out first that no where in the bible does it say we have the kind of freewill you describe, and the only times where the term is used is to refer to a type of "free will offering" which is simply an offering given in addition to what was required. in the old testament the term that is translated to freewill is the hebrew word "nedabah" which means spontaneous or abundant gift and doesn't refer to people having free will and by using the original languages of the bible we can determine no where in the bible is such a claim ever made. but lets say for the sake of argument that there is such a thing as freewill. Would you lose your freewill by God knowing your choice? if God is truly sovereign then he must know all including what you will do at anytime and if in your mind God can't know your choice then how can he be all knowing? to have freewill by your definition you rob our God of his sovereignty. If free will does exist, and God is all knowing then we must accept that our possible capacity for freewill doesn't violate God's omnipotence and we must accept that our concept of God is limited while God's true nature isn't. in other words if you truly have free will and God knows every decision you make that does not mean that these two ideas are mutually exclusive. Its been demonstrated that using a FMRI neuro scientists can determine what your answer to a given question will be before you consciously know what your choice will be. So does knowing your choice negate freewill? I don't see how it does. In the end we should trust God's word and not our assumptions.

Faith comes by believing and Knowing Jesus Christ is the Atonement (Paid your price) at the cross. Salvation is in his Sacrifies for us/you. Not in Following Lavitical laws. HOWEVER because he saved us and we LOVE home we seek to be Sanctified (Trasformed) to be more Christ like and Live Holy.
So Yes you can be saved if you simply put your Faith in what Jesus did for you. You new salvation and Faith will lead you to Live and change your Old life to a Holy life that Honors our Father in heaven.

its a huge misconception that hebrew roots believe that you have to keep Torah to be saved. Just like throughout Christianity you are saved by grace and faith. But because you are saved by grace should you sin? Absolutely not. the only difference is that HRs believe that sin includes keeping all Torah commands. when you inevitably stumble you will be forgiven for it and be compelled to pick yourself up and try again.

marcia ricksgers the hebrew roots doesn't teach you keep the Law for salvation. You obey the law because it's on your heart, the difference is the law to most Christians is smaller than the law to hebrew roots. claiming HR teaches works based salvation is a fundamental misunderstanding of what it means.

The reason dietary laws exist is because not every creature is created to be eaten. Go ahead and eat frogs and rats. How would you know they're bad if no instructions are given to you? Pigs and some other animals are no different, it's a scavenger.

There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end leads to death (Proverbs 14:12). And one way that seems right is thinking that keeping the Old law would be good, but in fact it is very deadly and will cause you to fall from Grace (Galatians 4:21-5:6). We are to live by Faith (Hebrews 10:38) but the Law is not of Faith (Galatians 3:12) and voids Faith (Romans 4:13-14). The strength of sin is by the law (1 Corinthians 15:56) Therefore we are to serve in newness of Spirit, but no longer by the Old covenant law (Romans 7:4-6). The Spirit gives life, but the Old covenant law is only a ministration of death that kills and condemns (2 Corinthians 3:6-17).

Buckeye Bike, You are the one cherrypicking. Take Romans 3:31 in full context, and you will see that the Law witnesses/testifies to the fact that righteousness comes from Faith, but NOT by the deeds of the Law: "But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe:" "Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law." Rom 3:21-22,27-28
And that is how the Law is established! I suggest you read your Bible in full context before you run around calling people morons.
The Laws only goal is to point us to Christ, but once we have Christ we are to live by Faith instead, which establishes the Law; but we are not to keep the Law: "But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster." Galatians 3:23-25

You have called God's law deadly. You said that keeping the law results in losing grace. You said that keeping the law voids faith.
These are some heavy accusations against God's law.
David said the law was perfect, converting the soul. God said his law would cause those who follow it to prosper, as well as their descendants forever and ever.
A gift is to be freely given. Our perfect Father gave us grace through Jesus's work on the cross. Why would he take His grace away from us if we try to follow His decrees, ordinances, and laws - that he only ever had good things to say about? That makes no sense.
It took me sincerely questioning these things to bring me to this logical conclusion------ my pastor was wrong, the seminary was wrong, I believed a lie.
I was saved even then when I didn't know this, ignorant about this stuff, yes, but still saved. It was the Holy Spirit inside me that convicted me, led me, to the truth.
So, that being said, I'm on no way implying that you aren't saved because you don't see this yet. What I am implying is that you have been listening to man and not God. God said His law is good, and so it is, period.

    • @AidenRKrone

The Law "condemns" us by pointing out our sin. It shows us all the ways in which we transgress the moral standards of God. It tells us that we are filthy sinners who do not have the power within ourselves to reconcile ourselves to God. (God's prevenient grace is what enables us to come to saving faith in Jesus Christ, not the Law.) Having saving faith in the Savior justifies us in the eyes of the Father. The Law "kills" us in the sense that following it _by itself_ does not bring salvation. But the Law was _never intended_ to be a vehicle of salvation in the first place! Regardless, following the Law is _not necessary for salvation._ We are supposed to submit ourselves to the Law lovingly and willingly, not because it is required for salvation (it most certainly is not), but because we are grateful that Yahweh bestowed it upon us. The Law is literally described as being eternal, changeless, and universal, and Jesus Himself said that He came to fulfill the Law, not abrogate it, so how has the Law of Moses been replaced by the "Law of Christ"? The Law contains the moral precepts of God. If the Son nullified the Law, then that means He changed the moral precepts of God, and if He modified the moral precepts of God, that means that God's moral character is alterable, which means that God is not timeless and immutable. The whole idea that the Mosaic Law has been completely done away with just does not make sense from either a biblical or logical perspective.

Christianity doesn't follow the Torah because of the doctrines of the false apostle Paul. See Jesuswordsonly.com. He taught lawlessness, Torah was bondage, abrogated, law of death blotted out, abolished, cursed, etc. There are only 12 apostles, not 13. Paul did not qualify to be an apostle. Acts 1:16-26. He never knew or talked to Yahshua. He got his doctrine, like Joseph Smith, from a light and a voice in his head. DO NOT ADD OR TAKE AWAY FROM THE TORAH! Jews will never be converted to the Greek Jesus taught by the Pharisee Paul.

The feasts were kept BECAUSE they had a temple/levitical system. We don't. It is forbidden to do this "as we see fit." IOW, no feasts were kept in the first dispersion. Why do we think we should go against YHVH's commands and make up our own "memorializing instructions" and call it "feast keeping"? No, Zach, you cannot keep a feast on your own property unless you believe that disobeying is a good thing. Even the Hebrew calendar was only by priesthood authority. Only the priests were blowing the shofar determining which day it was. Where is the instruction to us to do what was commanded only for the priests? Sadly, those of us who have come to the knowledge of Torah have realized we were idolatrous for years, following man's ways instead of God's. Now, in the HRM, this idolatry system is still alive and well. Too many people are willing to continue following the Zach Bauer's and 119 ministries and corner fringe, etc of this movement which is not pleasing to YHVH. I'm not knocking the fact that some of these people have snippets of truth. But when you finally realize the sin of your whole life and what you were really doing to dishonor your God by following man, you cannot abide any of it any longer. Thinking you will hear "well done thy good and faithful servant" is like Nadab and Abihu thinking they would hear the same thing.

He resurrected on the day of Firstfruits during the Feast of Unleavened Bread. The Day was always on the First day of the week and the Israelites were Keeping it well before the Dogma of the church. It was understood that it was on the first day of the week, Not because it supercedes the sabbath, But that it keeps the Sabbath Holy by keeping it Set Apart.
Pentecost can only be calculated by finding the day of firstfruits during unleavened bread and counting 7 sabbaths or 49 days after firstfruits and the day after the 7th sabbath is Pentecost. The Jews call it Shavout or the Feast of Weeks.
The Messiah Died on Passover. Easter is a pagan Holiday and you cannot find anywhere in the bible where it says to keep sunday holy. This Dogma came from the Catholic Church.

    • @vrab.
      @vrab. 4 роки тому +1

You should do a strong’s concordance on the greek word for “on the first day of the week” in Matthew 28:1 or when Mary visits the tomb in the other gospels. You will find the greek word is Sabbaton which is the Sabbath. So Jesus did not rise on a Sunday but the Sabbath. But don’t believe me... look it up. Sunday worship began with the Catholics and they persecuted the real believers so much so they made laws (canon 22 i believe) which say not to be a Judiaser which they made a law to not practice Sabbath or observe any Feast days. It was no decision of Jesus, the apostles, nor Paul.
