Yeah...maybe go back to beautiful handrawn scenes instead of the exact same cgi as all the other animated movies since 2012, maybe focus more on making a story that makes sense, maybe focus less on inclusivity and more on the story, if you do that then the whole inclusitivity thing will sort it self out

Actually Disney started its nose dive when this guy, Bob Iger, retired. His successor, Bob Chapek, is responsible for Disney's dramatic decrease in quality. It was so dramatic that Chapek stepped down as CEO and Iger came back just to fix what Chapek had done and find a better successor. It's a crucial bit of context this video leaves out

It's gonna take a while though. In big companies such changes take years to take an effect. How many years passed since Disney bought Fox and only now they announced a movie that's gonna bring Fox's Marvel characters into MCU.
Companies tend to do things fast onl when there's no other way to continue, like with Jonathan Majors, who had to be fired, thus making Marvel and Disney rethink their plans for the franchise and enact them quickly.
Basically, I would not wait quality rise until Acolyte, Mandalorian and Grogu and New Jedi Order films would be released. And even at that, I would not expect anything, considering that only Mandalorian and Animation team give actually good content, meanwhile all these no-names that are doing Acolyte and New Jedi Order do not give good feelings about what they are doing. And Disney would most definitely continue put such nobody personas into big projects.

It's amazing how badly Disney fumbled the bag regarding the entirety of the Star Wars IP. All they had to do was write a few coherent scripts then film them with that Disney budget, and let the money roll in. Instead, aside from a few projects (Rogue One, Andor, and some of the early Mandelorian), they've failed at making movies, TV shows, a theme park, a hotel (which is now closed), and have lost pretty much all the good will built up since the release of the first sequel film. Buying Star Wars has got to be the worst investment the mouse ever made because it exposed them as being totally incompetent.

Quantity is NOT the issue - quality is. Star Wars fans would happily take 3-5 shows a year if they were all great. Unless every series is being written by the same person, directed by the same person & produced by the same person, then Disney should be able to make 3-5 quality shows a year. The fact that they can't/haven't is because the higher ups at Disney/LFL cannot hire, develop & hold accountable the people in the process because they themselves lack the vision and the ability to do so.

This statement literally says: investors, the floor under us burns naturally, trust me, the quality of firefood under our feet fill be better. Iger lies, over and over. And this wouldn't be a propblem if he woud make changes.
    1. Bob Chapek literally did nothing new to stream services, for some reason everything Iger left previously blew up. And when he came back he says literally all the same things over and over changing nothing.
    2. Kenobi suffered from changes to the script. There was different lead writer and show should have been shorter. And it wasn't kennedie's flagship. Then, Kennedi wanted some major victory, made it HER flagship, hired additional writers, changed/fired lead writer and we had what we gained.
    3. What happened to Bob Fett and s3 of Mando I don't know, the only thing that was common: rumors abound scandals, like over and over again about shift in management, but both shows had quite some time for development and suffered from having episodes from different shows and stories being cut to fit some idea that didn't work out.
So no, Bob Iger simply lies, maybe trying to protect corporate system that he contructed but it broke up, maybe tries to cover inability to change. Maybe is blackmailed - who knows. But saying basically same words he said... doesn't sound good for Disney's future.

Quantity really wouldn’t be so bad if there was quality to balance it out I’ve used this example many times
Star Wars used to be the clone army they took their time making them and when they came out, they were perfect but then under Disney, they became the droid army pumping out show after show after show after show What they need to do is what the empire did make the storm troopers a.k.a. combine quality with quantity middle ground
Rather releasing episode by episode release season by season and actually take your time making them good and you’ll get back on track

@@klutzspecter3470The only politics in Disney’s movie production are the “ Woke accuser “ crying foul over the inclusion of diversity, and the casting of women in lead roles. The term “ woke “ is a term co-opted by far right non- conservatives as a dog whistle and a rallying cry to rise up against anything anti-majority demographic . Even Trump and most traditional conservatives has criticized the use of the term” woke” for political reasons, and Trump even went further to say “ that members of the majority demographic don’t ever know the meaning of the term.” Anti- woke candidates don’t win elections ,nor does it offer any advantage to the Conservative Party.
The truth is that Disney has no political agenda in producing projects featuring a diverse cast or movies with female leads. Disney actually has an economic agenda for it because they understand that the world is actually very diverse, and that it is shifting away from the non- diverse/ male dominated demographic . There has been several credible studies done about the effects of minorities and women economic influence on present and future ticket sales. Movies with diverse and female led cast tend to sale more movie tickets. Finally, research conducted by the United States Census bureau concluded that by 2045 the minority demographic in America will become a new minority demographic and the new majority demographic will exclusively consist of multi- racial and inter-racial groups.
This simply means that the bastardized “Woke” actions Disney or other corporate entities are going to stop it will only increase because catering to women and to diverse demographics is key to their current and future survival.

Bruuuh you cant be actually repeating the talking point that Chapek in his brief tenure is responsible for everything, or even 50% of what is wrong with Disney across the board. Chapek was/is nothing more than a reputation clean-up for Iger while he doubles and triples down on all the decisions he made getting here. I'm not saying Chapek is a perfect person, but you cant really think Chapek's 2 years of tenure are responsible for 10 years of Disney downturn and flops.
Chapek didnt buy Star Wars and proceed to produce 3 movies without an overall plan. Please dont be that easy to fool.

I know the annoyance of anti-wke channels. And the term wke using as a buzz word for everything diverse by certain groubs.
But incase of normies and etc, that term used for agenda driven stories. And you can see that a lot in disney starwars. People always ignoring that politics in prequalls were just a plot-device. And writers have no agenda while writting it. They did influenced by actuall political events. But thats kinda it.
İf you read the legends or watch clone wars, you know how gray things can get. This completly thrown away in Disney. Look at Battlefront 2. They reformed the main character by making her a rebel. We suppose get a empire-pov story where rebels were unhinged.

You think George Lucas having Darth Vader paraphrase George W. Bush in the third prequel wasn't really political and was without agenda? Seriously? I'm left-wing as heck and I still rolled my eyes at that exchange.
Likewise, in the original trilogy, the bad guys are all Nazis. Like, the Imperial officers are dressed like Nazis and the formations are Nazi and everything. It's a World War II story about a diverse group of rebels fighting a bunch of white dudes who all have the same damn haircut. And there's absolutely no "gray" intended in there. Legends novels weren't anything that Lucas had in mind at the time. He wanted a hamfisted pulp serial thing about good guys shooting Nazis in space.
Andor and Rogue One had more nuance and shades of gray than everything Lucas ever made put together.

@@mazkeraid4039Yeah, they totally had all that virtue signaling and tokenization in The Mandalorian. I mean, the dark troopers were painted black! It was clearly secret code for the woke Black Lives Matter agenda!
And that part where the dude shoots at the robot and things are like "pewpewpewpewpew" and then there's explosions and then spaceships and then more explosions and everything. That's woke stuff. You'd never have any of that kind of virtue signaling "dude shoots at a robot with a laser gun" stuff in classic Star Wars, no sir. That AT-ST was totally token representation and oh man, the Mandalorians' sexuality, yeah, they really went into that in such detail, right? That was really the core of his character, all those people he was involved with.
Seriously, you look at a show about a bunch of people in silly costumes shooting blasters at other people at silly costumes, and Bill freakin' Burr gets to be in two episodes, and the starring characters are some dude who almost always wears a helmet and a green puppet, and you complain about sexuality and token representation. Do you have any idea how absolutely ridiculous you sound? Have you ever got up, looked in a mirror, and asked yourself, "How did I ever reach the point of complaining that U-Wings and the droid stormtrooper mini-bosses from 1990's hit FPS, Dark Forces, are woke propaganda?"

@@emilyz4104 Legends are accapted by George Lucas,so he allowed it to be part of his vission. The key diffrence why all of them were baddies is due to do the time where it is written. A lot of villian-good guy ideas were not that interesting.
This slowly start to get fixed as years went on.There are a lot of Legends ideas that was suppose to appeared in Clonewars ,like Yuzzhan Wong(legend sequall villians) suppose make a cemao, all of it scrapped when Disney took over. So,no. Seperatist's and hero's shown in a really gray light in clone wars. If you want to think empire as Nzi,than you have to think Seperatists as Confederacy from American ciwil war. Honestly kinda pissed me off with how stupid that one scene was, but other than that I enjoyed the show.

Sorry, but... no. I don't trust this at all. Nearly every major decision made regarding the franchise was made under his watch. This comment from him means absolutely nothing when you look at the actual track record of what was made and when it was made.
