I like how almost everyone’s reactions to Grievous in these scenes is either mild surprise or passive acceptance, like Grievous popping out of nowhere to steal their lightsabers is just a regular thing that happens in their universe.

I like to think that Grevious is an urban legend in the Star Wars universe for Jedi and Sith. "It is said that, should you ever lose your Lightsaber, a large robotic being will come out of no where and take it".
Then when they see it happen they're all awestruck like "Holy shit he's real!".
Ever since he died in revenge of the sith.. He has ascended into legend, and is said to reappear wherever a lightsaber is dropped.

Its the moment obi wan force jumps over maul and cuts him in half. The moment he saw obi wan start the attack he probably was confused because of how stupid it seems to be (if maul had stabbed his lightsaber through obi wan as he started the jump and skewered himself on the blade.

I always find it interesting that villains are labelled as cowards when they quite reasonably retreat but heroes are viewed as struggling with an understandable (but difficult) choice when they do it.

Granted this is the Droid Army we're talking about and how the Separatists handled their war strategies, there's this notion that heroes don't leave their own behind. Meanwhile, the moment things go south, Grievous is the first to flee the battle, which is, as you said, a fair decision that actually made kept him alive to the very end of the Clone Wars. I guess it is a matter of honor

I like the idea that Grievous is the Jedi version of an old wives’ tale and is always lurking around the corner to snatch up the lightsabers of any careless Jedi, which is why Obi-Wan always gets onto Anakin about losing or dropping his lightsaber.
That's more canon to me than the sequel trilogy.

The jumping animation of grievous had me dying
The most impressive part: Grievous added an arm for each lightsaber, and, through clever use of pocket dimensions, he managed to fit them all in his perfect torso.
I love how every "loose a lightsaber" scene always has the characters on scene making the perfect face that anyone would make after seeing Grievous run outa nowhere to jump to his possible death. Also the parts where ppl somewhat animated grievous were funny 😂 loved seeing Grievous dance and "sing" lol

3:46 mark is the most perfect Star Wars meme EVER created! Grievous dances to his own tune only to get hit in the back with the lightsabre Luke threw at him. Moments later Sith Lightning courses through Luke Skywalker's body causing him to writhe in agony and scream in pain as there's nothing else he can do. Grievous kneels to pick up the lightsabre while saying "A fine addition to my collection" before jumping down the core to safety. As soon as Grievous is out of view Sith Lightning stops coursing through Luke's body giving him enough time to recover and look off the gantry in confusion.
Palpatine stops torturing Luke with his Sith Lightning and silently stands there with a slight expression of confusion on his face before adopting a somewhat relaxed posture.
Darth Vader stands there on the gantry to turn his head to the left to look at his master Palpatine with what is assumed to be confusion due to his mask not showing expression of any kind.
Palpatine for whatever reason unleashes his fury upon his pupil Darth Vader before getting thrown off the gantry to his death many many meters below the very same gantry both pupil and master stood on only moments ago.
Grievous stands at the floor some distance below the gantry Palpatine was cast off by Vader only to mock him by laughing at him for his misfortune.
He is the definition of "finders keepers, losers weepers"
