Hi to you, Tom & Nick. I am In the UK and love watching your videos ! This one in particular reminds me of a few weeks ago, when we had paving laid in the back and the front we had an old drive of brick, tarmac, earth and old concrete, got that removed and had some drainage put in as our drive sloped slightly towards our garage. So found this one very interesting. Of course the UK homes do not usually have such big expanses of land back and front. Ours was pricey but very worth the mess and now the garage is bone dry. I love how tidily you work and how very hard you all work. Thanks for the great videos, they are entertaining and informative too.
Wow, thank you very much Jacqui for your outstanding comment and compliments. Driveways pitching towards the house/garage are pretty common. I'm so glad we could be helpful and that you were able to solve your problem. Thank you again for taking the time to write such a nice comment and have a great weekend, Dawn
Hello from NJ Oliver. This was a very challenging and enjoyable project. I would love to get more jobs like this. I hope you get lots of time with friends under the big umbrella again this weekend. All the best, Tom
Another great video! I love your sense of humor lol but, if Nick starts putting faces on these plywood boards I might have to reconsider my level of love! It will still be in the love range but I'll have to add a bit of "they're crazy" in there hehe = )
Hi Johli, We'll keep an eye on Nick. If he starts naming boards and trying to bring them in the truck cab we will have to consider some kind of intervention. It's your nice comments and encouragement that keep us trying to make better videos. We're doing our best to make it on the coveted 'Johli watch again list'. Have a great weekend, Tom
Thank you very much Lujayn. I found them on Amazon. Here's a link - www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FT65XY8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Thanks again, Tom
Why do you need a cleanout just a few inches before it discharges into the street sewer? If you ever needed to clean it out, you could just pop off the sewer grate.
You would have to ask the town engineer. A clean out just before the tie in is always required in the permit and inspected. One of the jobs we did this year the town not only required the clean out but they also wanted a back flow preventer. We do what we have to to meet the town requirements so we can solve a problem for our customers. Thank and have a great day, Tom
Takin Nick his lunch..... his hand popping out through the hole and takin his lunch. Fun, creative.
Dawn & Nick are pretty funny together. Thanks and have a great weekend
Great job. Now that you guys fixed their standing water issues… sell them some of your custom landscaping
I like how you think Alan. I will have to work on that. Thanks again and have a great weekend, Tom
