I really tried to understand why people liked this game so much. I've definitely found entertainment out of "bad games/products" however this game was released in such a buggy and incomplete state. Along with the worst AI in the series, less animal variety due to the region. Far cry 4 's perfect balance of stealth and chaos was completely gone in this game. Stealth was pointless since each outpost had so many enemies that could detect you, but couldn't kill you because the AI were brain dead. The fastest way to beag this game is push forward and shoot
As a lifelong Montana resident, I can say with 100% certainty that the AI in this game is actually completely realistic and perfectly represents the average IQ of all the rednecks who live here. Like my brother who for some reason adores this game.

Faith is more interesting than he is. I am sorry, but if you think, that Joseph is a good antagonist, then you should play, watch or read something with an actual good antagonist. His archetype has been done much better before 2018.
among farcry 3,4 and 6, farcry 5 is below them. not saying its bad ok its just not your traditional farcry. but the thing is fc 5 has great songs, memorable songs compared to fc 3,4,6. the game has a special place in my heart because it was the first farcry that set on an english region.

Naw man, I love this game. This is probably my favorite Far Cry overall. Loved the setting, loved the guns, loved the music and the graphics, the vehicles and the mini games. Yes, the AI can be stupid and the story is good (apart from the ending), but the storytelling is lacking, I'll give you that. But overall, I love this game and it's nowhere near a bad game. Also the Vietnam and Mars DLC just absolutely SLAP.
Yeah, that Vietnam DLC was for sure great, so was Mars. And Far Cry 5 arcade so f*cking fun when it first came out. FC 5 arcade was just as good as the campaign mode
One of the worst fry crys made. Cant filter places on the map, glitches and bugs all over. Poor placement of cars and places to get cars. Swimming, dont even get me started.
Well Far Cry 5's lack of visual distinctness I think is because they tried to map the regions after real locations. John's region is Paradise Valley, Jacob's The Beartooth Mountains, and Faith's The West Yellowstone-Big Sky region. If you go to these places in real life it is a spitting image and incredibly accurate. I don't think that is a downside whatsoever. But I'm biased. (I was born in Billings)
Honestly I enjoyed Far Cry New Dawn better, because I paid $6, finished it over pizza and a rainy weekend, and then sold the disc for $10 to someone else for a $4 profit. I bought FC5 used for $10, feels like a waste of time and a tenner! Maybe someone else wants my FC5 disc to use as a drink coaster or something. I bought Far Cry 4 today (July 2024), again thanks to this channel.
Far Cry 5 is a somewhat divided game. You either loved it, or hated it. I loved it. The story, the actors, the ending was very satisfying for me, and the music, oh eeeem geeee, the music... I still catch myself humming "Help me faith" from time to time. One of the only games as an adult I have replayed more than once. Joseph Seed is my all time favorite Far Cry villain. Heck, I loved it so much I bought it twice. Once on PS4, I was traveling a lot at the time. Then again on PC to see enjoy the beautiful graphics. It still looks great in 2023.
*Far Cry 5 is one of the greatest action games ever made. if you want to play it as a peaceful exploration adventure game where you discover the thingsah and take in the scenery then you aint gonna enjoy it. the point of the game is to challenge you in the open world....Alot.....and at every turn.....and it accomplished that 1000%. in closing, please dont refer to women as Bitches, its disrespectful kkkkkk

after playing farcry 3 i heard people were dissapointed at farcry4 after playing farcry3 becouse 3 is kust better, so i just played farcry5 to get extremely bored and dissapointed for a whole 2 weeks then played fc4 and fc4 was so fcking good
The music and scenery hit just right with 5, but that's honestly where it's positives end. The villains are worse than in any other game, the gameplay is worse than in any other game, the plot is worse than possibly any other game to ever exist. Every time I try to endure a playthrough of this abomination, I ask myself repeatedly "how did this game get released?"

Mr. Evil Dude the Third didn't actually do anything. He seriously left no impact. The stupid marshall left more of an impact because I was telling him how stupid he was about every 5 seconds. Was hoping the rest of the game would be fun. I'll find out I guess but this video did not make me hopeful, since I also got bored of FC3 and 4 halfway through and had to take a break from both of them and finish them later. Though I love big cats so I guess I'll find a cougar to murder things with and maybe that will be fun for some amount of time. The removal of all the takedowns and hunting/crafting mechanics (which were probably my favorite part of the previous games) and increased need for skillpoints is 100% going to annoy me quickly. At least I got the game super cheap.

We’ve mainly been skipping story scenes it’s pretty bad but we just played through Halo infinite great game play terrible story. You can get it running at 60fps on Series x with fps boost but it knocks resolution down to 1080p.
Today, I completed this game and most missions are so boring and repetitive. However, there were some missions that were actually good, Ai of this game is worse, soundtracks of FC5 are really amazing, graphics is also great but characters are really really so bad and story is just average. In conclusion, Far Cry 5 is an above average game for me. But Fc3 and Fc4 were really really amazing in all expects.

I LOVE Farcry 5. It is just crazy good fun. It's an amazing goofy sandbox at worst but an awesomely badass fps when you want it to be. I don't understand how you can dislike this game. It's sad that the level of detail and interactivity degraded in every installment since Farcry 2, but this is for sure a blast to play alone snd even more in coop. You must be fun at parties. Trashing Farcry 5 is like saying "I hate fun".
