Another reason why I love Generations so much is that it follows its own rules in regards to the music: Modern gets the music with guitars, drums, and orchestral instruments and Classic gets the more techno-sounding, 16-bit style music, even in the final boss. The thing about this track is it would technically be unused because no one would switch to Classic Sonic during the fight for the PC/Console version thus not hearing this version of the track, but in the 3DS version it's the first thing you hear upon starting the fight because it switches between Classic and Modern Sonic with each hit you get and Classic Sonic is the first one you control when the fight starts.
Is this the song that plays when you're Classic Sonic? I never would have known, since there is next to no reason to play as Classic during this fight.
bruh, you dumb or something, you catch up to it faster if its outside when you switch, also you can dodge the attacks, including the laser which is necessary to get the nohit achievement
