I think in this game a lot of the stages are in shadow's mind as black doom is trying to drive him into becoming his ultimate weapon and eventually they'll fight in the real world where shadow will ironically use all the powers he learned from his father
Love how the Radical Highway remix comes in the minute Doom's Eye shows up, and the transition from the Space Colony Ark to that stage is just (chef's kiss). They really going all out with the aesthetic and spectacle this time.
