You can spot more RHD cars as you go further east in Russia. It's cheaper for them to import cars from Japan than it is to bring cars over from Europe.
This now makes sense! I thought I was seeing things.. driving on the right side but in a RHD vehicle?! Been watching a few live streams from Siberia, Usty Kuty(?), and thought I spotted the odd vehicle with RHD.. practical Russians are practical..

Better living conditions schooling and money were the incentive. His father a surveyor, helped build the trans Siberian railway as did he later on . I’m so excited to show my wife this! Thanks so much Mr Bald. Greetings from Catford in London 👍.
One of the many things I love about these vlogs is how it makes the viewer realize that these places aren't just spots on a map, or a line or two in a history or geography book, but places where people just like us wake up every morning, make breakfast, plan their days, and live their lives. The culture and laws there may be different than in, say, America or England (or wherever people are watching from), but the reality of life is the same. These are real people, and by watching your videos, it becomes easier to imagine being there as a member of their society. What a great adventure, and what a great way to become aware of life elsewhere! Thank you so much for not only these videos and what they teach us, but for the risks you take doing it, and the infectious joy you exude, so we get to experience it, too. Stay safe, dear man - you are a treasure.
These videos always make me stop and think about spending over a third of my life training to go to war with these people. I am so glad it never happened and I hope mankind finds a way to end wars once and for all.

It never ceases to amaze me that Bald has these adventures without a serious set of shoes or boots. Those Vans aren't much more than flip flops with a canvas cover. Stylish? Maybe? Practical? Not a bit. Take care of your feet and they'll take care of you. 👍
Vans are light and flexible, perfect for light hiking. He's not going on a road march for 30 miles. Fookin hell mate. Also, if you really want to take care of your feet, take them out of shoes entirely and never wear them again. Because all footwear fucks your feet up. Your toes are meant to be spread. Your arch is meant to be significant. The bottoms of your feet are not meant to be soft anywhere, but rather hard. That is a natural healthy foot.
@@Cthulhu013 If I did that round my bit, I'd end up with broken glass, bits of metal and who knows what else on my feet. Also have you ever trodden in dog turds in your bare feet? Not a good experience and not one I wish to repeat from childhood.
Yesss welcome back Daily Bald. I love your interactions with Russian taxi drivers, bet they love giving you lifts, they all seem to happy when you're in the car! :)

this really reminds me of my old military academy, where i studied in the early 2000 in rostov-on-don while in ROTC.. when i visited Russia long after, i found that place in ruins. what a pity. but i will never forget it
I explore places whilst wearing appropriate clothing and footwear and I carry food and water with me. Bald does it while dressed like he is in The Matrix, armed with a large beer.

Blagoveshensk is a derivative from “blagaja vest” which is a very old fashioned way to say “good news”. This means that the town name is kinda “goodnewsville” 😁
I love those russian shortcuts through parks and forests. Walked them many times. Specially in winter do stay on the path and do not eat yellow snow. You have the same love for Russia as I have, such interesting country. Sadly I miss the language knowledge.
My ex wife grew up next to a military base in Albania which became abandoned in the 90s. She and her sisters would go exploring it and found grenades and mines just laying around. By the time I visited her home town, there was almost nothing left of the base.
I just love your definition of 'this is where dreams are made of'! Walking with a big can of beer on a rough and cold field, towards zabrosnije zdanije...
You know it's so great to hear you speaking the language even if you're not fluent. I wouldn't know if you are or not. You know we have a terrible bias against non english speakers in America which totally shows how ignorant we are. It makes me said.

The scene in the window was absolutely hilarious in every way. The fact that you were awkwardly half way in. How it slowly fell. How you paused for so long to only quietly say, "oops". On a serious note that may have done some serious damage had it fallen on you, yikes.
Very good content, The one thing I did notice was that river area you stopped at.. although maybe some rubble, there was no pollution there (no plastic bags or such). Just a notice.
Really enjoy your work. This adventure reminds me, when I was a kid my friends and I would go explore an old airfield near Lakenheath air base, left over from World War Two.

This part of Russia is situated near Japan. I assume more than 70% cars in there are imported used cars from Japan.
@@uxtbI i think even more, thats pretty much all you see there is RHD cars
Yes, they appreciate nice JDM cars
That place is so beautiful, abandon military buildings look very strong must have been built to last a lifetime and all the nice tall trees makes it environmentally friendly.
I think I am falling in love with Russian history
Haha I loved seeing that Hoonigan sticker on that car. Thanks for the Daily Bald video!
Finally, I have been waiting for a new Daily Bald! :D I like the part where whole window frame shattered on the floor "oops"
This channel (+BAB) went from something that never really caught my attention when scrolling through my recommended feed, to one of my all time favorite channels, in a matter of 3 days.
What a blessing on this Saturday morning! I'm going through some rough shit right now so thank you for posting. It's a little escape for me. We watch you religiously in our household.
May ur rough shit becomes smooth shit Ameen

As an immigrant in the uk, coming from a former soviet state country, I love watching your vids sm for the nostalgia, I love seeing all the old stuff I grew up wit, especially the trains, I remember our 8 hour drives in those soviet nightmares to the sea side. Thank you Mr Bald
Same. I’m glad I’m no longer there, but I do feel nostalgic. ❤️

Wow, real Soviet sounds of smashing glass.. you're a classic Benjaminski! Love your work.
You could actually make an epic Bald computer game, going around the Russian lands picking up points for spotting murals, old military things, and probably top points for Babushkas. Kolya will be waiting at the last level, in Ratus.

Such a melodic “oh fucking hell” when the window frame fell in, haha.
It always seems so safe there. I never seen you challenged. Everyone seems really chill.
"Hopefully they're no Chikatilo's knocking about" LMAO
and when he accidentally knocks down the window "oops" pure comedy

You’re doing just fine, Bald. Keep ‘em coming for as long as you’d like. We’ll keep watchin‘em.
these are my favorite type of Bald and Bankrupt videos! This village looks so cute and people seem to be pretty friendly. I love the Soviet abandoned buildings! Especially if they are schools, offices etc. Shows you a glimpse of how the enviroment they used to live in was.
Bald, yes. Bankrupt, no. This is the second channel, daily bald. Read the pinned comment for more info.
We need a Bald live channel so we can watch him travel live sometimes. Definitely would watch!!
Yes!
I would tune in every single time
It never ceases to amaze me that Bald has these adventures without a serious set of shoes or boots. Those Vans aren't much more than flip flops with a canvas cover. Stylish? Maybe? Practical? Not a bit. Take care of your feet and they'll take care of you. 👍
Their actually super comfortable. I feel super nimble with mine on.
@@wasntme3651 They give your ankles no support and break after any serious wear. They're only good for civilisation.

Love the very stealthy entrance. Woke up every ghosts in the place. 😆 🤣
Replayed the window frame falling a few times. Had a drink of beer every time too.
Quality content from our faithful Mr Bald, dismantling the former Soviet Union one window frame at a time.
Very epic video! And when the window collapsed inwards, it made me laugh and transported me to when I was 20 :D
Your style of vlog exploration is exactly what I need in my life. Thank you for the frequent uploads!
Happy to see more daily snippets! Hope we get some more, been loving the BAM trip so far.
It ended.
Yesss welcome back Daily Bald. I love your interactions with Russian taxi drivers, bet they love giving you lifts, they all seem to happy when you're in the car! :)
The window breaking shot at 7:30 is just magnificent!
My favourite travel channel! Thanks for the vid!
I can say ur a gutsy man, entering an abondoned building without a second thought.
Thank you for going through the extra work of putting in the translations. I've been studying Russian and they're a huge help. And I know I've said this before, but I think you've got the best still shots of any vlogger. Each one has so much to say.
The window scene was so funny 😂 i'd love to go soviet urban exploring with you.
this really reminds me of my old military academy, where i studied in the early 2000 in rostov-on-don while in ROTC.. when i visited Russia long after, i found that place in ruins. what a pity. but i will never forget it
Your videos are just epic. Never stop doing what your doing. Thank you comrade bald 😃
I explore places whilst wearing appropriate clothing and footwear and I carry food and water with me. Bald does it while dressed like he is in The Matrix, armed with a large beer.
I almost bloody pissed myself laughing when the window frame came loose, and Balds reaction..
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Man bald is such an great man. Also hearing him dropping some local brighton stuff always adds something to me as im a local too
HahHa, you're not the normal tourist if you go exploring tourist lighthouses in the snow? You'll have yo come back in the Spring? I'm enjoying your BAM blogs and in particular how you get amongst it with the locals; it gives us a much better understanding of the Russian people. Great stuff!
I hope that you read this Benjamin, you absolutely have a talent, you are a gifted vlogger and spokesman, very entertaining, you have an educated perspective, wit, and dry humor that is addictive, I hope that you continue to travel and vlog, you should make this a full time occupation, you have a talent for it that captivates your audience, we would love to see you travel to rural parts of other European cities and experience real culture in non-tourist destinations in places like the Middle East, Africa, Central America, and Southeast Asia, thank you for the entertainment and cultural perspective
Great video as always, I am Czech born after the revolution so this means something to me, a window to a different dimension where everyone adult who I knew as a kid grew up, Including all of my family, I can't even imagine what the world was like before, thank you for doing this, appreciate you.
Blagoveshensk is a derivative from “blagaja vest” which is a very old fashioned way to say “good news”. This means that the town name is kinda “goodnewsville” 😁
Not so good news for Mao.
It's not only "good news", it's also Annunciation, that is of the Blessed Virgin Mary
@@VasilyMusic True. Indeed that is what the name of the city means. Благовещенск = Annunciation City.

Think this is one of my favourite Bald videos. Hope you get back to finishing the trip soon!
I love those russian shortcuts through parks and forests. Walked them many times. Specially in winter do stay on the path and do not eat yellow snow. You have the same love for Russia as I have, such interesting country. Sadly I miss the language knowledge.
@muhammad anzezz Yess ... the good old Zappa :-)
My ex wife grew up next to a military base in Albania which became abandoned in the 90s. She and her sisters would go exploring it and found grenades and mines just laying around. By the time I visited her home town, there was almost nothing left of the base.

The window falling in that made my day only you could do that Mr bald (now I need to clean the coffee off the table ) Keep safe and sober.
My fav bit was when he's said who ever was knocking about . Laughed so hard
You know it's so great to hear you speaking the language even if you're not fluent. I wouldn't know if you are or not. You know we have a terrible bias against non english speakers in America which totally shows how ignorant we are. It makes me said.

Mr. Bald. Please never stop making these videos about USSR and Soviets.. This is the best content on Yt and within your face on it, it is just perfect! You are funny and u know a lot of things about it. Cant stop watching over and over again all your journeys across the Russia and its near states.. Iam glad I did find your channel when I was back in your country ( I spent 10 years of my life there and I know,my gramma is still fuc..d)..Anyway, like I mentioned before, never stop doing what you do and make us happy.. Greetings from Slovakia and good luck to u Mr. Ben ;-)
The scene in the window was absolutely hilarious in every way. The fact that you were awkwardly half way in. How it slowly fell. How you paused for so long to only quietly say, "oops". On a serious note that may have done some serious damage had it fallen on you, yikes.
7:20 the "Oops..." after is just CLASSIC 😆
Very good content, The one thing I did notice was that river area you stopped at.. although maybe some rubble, there was no pollution there (no plastic bags or such). Just a notice.
Really enjoy your work. This adventure reminds me, when I was a kid my friends and I would go explore an old airfield near Lakenheath air base, left over from World War Two.
Your nostalgia for all things Soviet always reminds me a line from M in Casino Royale: "God, I miss the Cold War!"
He doesn't actually have nostalgia for it, it's just a skit and it kinda flies over the head of most people :P
Daily Bald I grab a beer!
Bald & Bankrupt I grab a Vodka!
