I must disagree to some extent. Don't judge prematurely and stereotype people/work. We make kids videos with our daughter firstly because we want to spend some quality time with her and have some cool memories. She is very happy doing this and we don't force her to anything(she is forcing us and can't wait to create more videos and she is learning quite a bit in the process. Furthermore we want other kids to have some quality content to watch in our language, same as you and me here, only you need to understand that kids want content which they can relate to, not what you and me like/want. For every video we invest minimum of 3 days(preparing/scripting, shooting editing, etc..) , but mostly even more. We really put our hart and soul into it. And for someone to just like that say it is no effort and soul, it is very hurtful to us. Having said all that, we don't monetize our videos. Take care and be wise choosing your words next time.

You just can't study in a conservatory and training as a spy at the same time. I bet he received a good education in a conservatory. He became a professional musician, worked as a teacher. But then USSR fallen apart. And then there was a war in Chechnya, there was gangs and terrorist everywhere. Robert probably lost his home or/and family and was forced to flee and roam. It is SO SO SO SO GOOD - even Darren Aronofsky would dream of making something like this. It has everything - perfect narration - grim gloomy climate - local folks at the store - giggly local teens - near perfect camera angles (for instance, there's a dog in most parts of the clip but is never the focus) - photography scores 100% (the part where it;s dark when narrator is leaving's Robert;s apartment) - a cemetery reminding us of the sordid past - A character like Victor (straight out of Chekov's works) and an enigmatic and reticent Robert who plays Vivaldi - and a perfect ending. You should definitely do "drinking with Russians" series.

@Megabutor yes, they speak the same language. Yes, Viktor behaves as a typical Russian alkash. But all of that is just because the ages of stupid Russian imperialism, prohibition of native language and culture. The situation is so bad that if you speak Belarussian in Belarus, people consider you as a nazi (where's the logic?). As a Ukrainian, I'm proud, that we finally got rid of Russians influence and can protect our culture and language. And I'm waiting for the moment when our Belarussian brother will do the same.

I had similar experiences in northern England meeting random people around town, hitting some pubs then going back to their homes and getting obliterated with their friends or family. Got blacked in Lithuania too with 2 old guys i met at some sketchy bar as I was the first American they met traveling around randomly exploring countries alone to meet people. I’ll never forget some of those places.

Viktor is from my home town, he was known to go around bashing criminals over the head with their own bottles of alcohol.
He had a giant record of arrests and a lot of criminals were afraid of him
He was eventually brought up with some high rank and was fired and became a security guard.
