I'm not religious, but this is very wholesome... Freddie's such a wonderful person with a heart full of love. It's very sad that he got hurt so much when all he wanted was love. And he's so strong. Even though he was desperately lonely, he still managed to be the best performer ever. A real champion

      Many people says currently
      "I'm not religious", but all
      countries in Europe, America and
Caribbean Sea and also New Zealand, Australia and in part countries of Africa is christian countries.

Your words nearly broought me to tears. I've found love in Jesus. That empty, black, agonizing put in my heart that I left behind? It was lit up like a light bulb when I found Christ. In Christ, i've found the love i've always wanted but thought I could never have. I believe, with all my heart, that Freddy Mercury is with Christ, and that love he always looked for? He has it now.

Freddie- “well, you did give them to me for which I thank you”.
Jesus- “you also wrote me a song on your first album”

Oh my gosh thank you for saying that. At first I thought this was going to be about bashing him and I was going to boldly state that Jesus would say he loves him! I'm so happy you said it.
I believe he is with Jesus, not lonely anymore and he will be with Mary again when it's her time to leave here.
I never knew much about him besides his music back then but learned more about him later. His story is both heart wrenching yet one of the most beautiful and touching for personal reasons.

    Interesting his upbringing wrt Zoroastrian
& how he was buried I supposed at the end
Personally I feel he made peace the last few years - internally & externally.
Love was central to his core being.

Yes, normally Zoroatrians bring their dead to the ‘tower of silence’ where the bodies are left for the birds of prey to eat the flesh clean. Due to Freddie dying from AIDS, ritual couldn’t be observed which was why he’d opted for creamation. Under normal circumstances, creatmenation would’ve been a huge no-no as a Zoroastrian burial rite...but since he died in his home in London, Freddie allowed his parents to have their ancent Zoroastrian funeral ‘n prayers but not the tradition Zoroastrian burial rites.

I have wondered so many times about Freddie's salvation. It has occured to me how many songs he mentioned God, Jesus. Even in Bo Rap, the word Bismillah. Meaning "in the name of God." And his Song, "Jesus." I really do hope that our beloved repented and made peace with our Creator. I love him and always will. Shalom.

Freddie was deeply generous and loving to his close friends, and he had such friends. I think it is hard for an “ordinary” person, if such exist, to respond to his level of generosity, hard to believe it is deserved. I am so glad that his last years gave him a true love in Jim Hutton, who was such a real person. Those, like Jim, Mary Austin, Peter Poundstone, even Joe Fanelli who were with him at the ends were true friends. A shame he pushed Peter Straker away at the end, but great that he now talks about his wonderful times with Freddie. Freddie is one of perhaps 3 people whom I would love to have met in life.

Freddie studied in India in a Catholic Jesuit school called St Paul's. Being a boarding school where he lived 10 yrs he ate, slept and breathed Christian values which is why he was able to write a song on Jesus. Also not to forget the Persians have a deep faith in Jesus I often see them in church coming to a miraculous church in Bombay. Freddy may have not acknowledged his Indian connection but he was an Indian Parsi and his formative years were in India under Jesuit priest. He was always seeking love because it's never easy being a gay back in the day and his parents too weren't broad minded although they meant well for him
. He was God's child and is sitting in care with Christ now❤ he had a huge impact on this world and sang till the end.

Freddie said he could never fall in love with a man as he could a women, and the only woman he was in love with was Mary, Freddie said he would love her till his last breath. I know that Jesus, would tell Freddie, I've Always Loved You, and Freddie has known this, for decades now. I am so very sad to know that, Freddie was so Heartbreaking Lonely. I know that Freddie and Mary, stayed in Contact, through the Rest of His Life. He said many times, that no one understood him, the way Mary did. Freddie certainly did have alot of feelings for Mary, because He left her the biggest part of his Estate. And through Freddie's Life, with all that he had, there wasn't anything materially, that could fill His very sad feeling, of feeling Lonely. I will always be very sad, that we lost Freddie, so many years ago, but I know that Jesus, has Him in His Arms, and that Freddie is very content, because Jesus Loves Him, for All Eternity and Unconditionally. Thank you very much, for this Very Inspiring Video, about Freddie and Our Lord Jesus. 🙏🏻💓 God Bless You, Your Family, and Your Church. Amen 🙏🏻💓💒 From Pekin, Illinois USA 💖🇺🇸 May 21, 2022

My late husband and I was right in front of the stage and Freddy stopped the band and he looked intently at the crowd and with a serious face told us that we need to realize there's more to this life and he for a second showed his finger up to the sky. My husband told me afterwards that he felt Freddy was trying to tell us something. Any way, I've often wondered about it.

Freddy in many ways was a victim of circumstance. He had many heathens around him who had no clue, but I think he also had Believers around him at one point, telling him the truth. Never forget one thing: the Almighty is rich in mercy, and His Holy Spirit convicts. Despite all of the churchianty prejudice Freddy might have been surrounded with in grade school, God IS Love. I believe Freddy knew. And the Queen song "Jesus," which Freddy wrote, I believe is a testimony to this.

Its sad as well that all he wanted was a loving relationship
75 he was in a relationship with David who said yes he had this reputation but as he said in his song old fashioned lover boy,and he was
    Unfortunately their relationship ended
He met joe they loved each other but he couldn't cope with not being able to be open to the public about their relationship if on tour they would have to be cautious about how they were with each other...
Then unfortunately he met Tony who treated him badly and went in his infamous 80's party that lasted 3 years!
He wanted a relationship but I think he just gave up on it,he was so busy with queen and I think if hes in a relationship he commits completely
He did meet vince but he didnt want to risk loosing what he had to go on tour if it didn't work out
He met joe again and seemed to get back on track
Met winnie this didnt work out the language barrier didn't help! But they were together a couple of years then he met jim
Jim was happy not to be public as his family didnt know then paul outted them in the press
I think "bitterness" Freddie said he had been hurt too much "I have the scars"
But that's not just from failed relationships some failed because he couldn't have a normal relationship like everyone else,he was open with everyone around him but not when he was representing queen though he did make it as clear as he was able to!
Bitterness I think is feeling but would they if I introduced jim as my husband...
Not that they could legally marry...
Loosing joe because the company was worried how it would effect the band...
But also his family wouldn't cope with him being open in a direct way
It must have been very difficult for him
And aids very little was done or clear info to help protect themselves for years because it didnt matter to the gov..lot of religious people if they died
Its difficult to have real belief in yourself and yo feel accepted which he was when he was performing but not as who he really was not all of who he was
So it must have felt lonely
I wish he hadn't said mary was his only friend though
Joe couldn't cope with being part of that life but loved him very much
I know your not discussing the film but you mentioned mary,I do understand it may have been too much for her to get involved but I feel she let freddie down by not making sure atleast what she knew of him was represented fairly
Scene in the film where she tells him shes pregnant and hes all what about me,this was low of roger and Brian to allow this
The film is up to 85 I think she had her first child in 89 he was very happy for her and was god father and Jim made the crib
(I wanted to add that incase anyone watched the film beleive this)
A lot of his songs had religious themes I beleive he very much believed in God but again constantly told he would be rejected because of his sexuality however else he lived his life or however good he was as a person
I hate seeing comments claiming he will be in hell...
I felt upset when you said jesus love him
    I beleive that is true
He will now be at peace and surrounded with love

@@whocares1481 Except that there are really NO clear indications in the Bible that the practice of homosexuality is in itself a sin.. and every indication that sexual morays were not that important to Jesus. He taught a spiritual and social philosophy and practice, not a sexual/reproduction manual! And not a set of pointlessly restrictive rules, either, about that or anything else.
Paul was more interested in the subject, but only because he was trying to get an organised religion and community happening, and it must have seemed important to him for that purpose. It doesn't mean that's the rule for all time, in all situations.
I really don't know why so many modern day Christians are obsessively focused on rules around sex and reproduction, gender roles, etc. I believe it's really missing the point of Jesus's teachings, and reveals more about people's cultural prejudices and norms than about true spirituality.

EXCELLENT point Lisa! ABBA showed me where "if you confess That JESUS is LORD you will be saved". In the Queen song JESUS (1973) Freddie confesses The LORD JESUS multiple times. Yes, Freddie lived in grievous sin...BUT with The LORD JESUS CHRIST all things are possible, and HE saves with a Mighty Hand (hear the Flash gordon finale). (I believe The LORD JESUS CHRIST chastened Freddie sore, though.) And there's no doubt you will see him in heaven! :)

@@YeshuaHaMaschiahA closet Christian would deny Christ publicly and Freddie did not. He also wrote “Jesus” which was included on Queens very first Album. Freddie was a private man and didn’t talk much about his personal life. In fact, his last partner said they didn’t talk about religion at all. I was an eighty’s teen and don’t remember many people sharing their faith openly in daily life. We went to church and left Jesus there afterwards. Things were very different back then.
God is Spirit and religion is man made.
(John 4:23) What mattered most was Freddie’s personal relationship with Jesus. He did however, share his belief in the music and interviews.
As for Freddie’s struggles...We all have those and this is exactly why Jesus sacrificed himself on the cross...to cover our shortcomings and sins.
When asked what was most important, Jesus said, “Love God with all your heart and also love thy neighbor as thyself. Freddie had those boxes checked.
      Jesus covered the rest. ❤️
