Dear Rachel your shows light up my life. I appreciate your patience and the meticulous manner.in which you handle the ingredients. You always clean up your workspace as.you go along. I could carry on forever. Always stay as you are. You warm our hearts and bellies.
Rachel, who taught you how to cook so well? I’m not young, but I ALWAYS learn something from your videos. Your attention to detail is commendable. Young cooks would really benefit from your teaching!
Your recipes are great and your teaching too, but I have to say that my favorite part is the taste test. That's what makes me want to try your recipes the most. I chuckle when you describe how things taste. Just delightful!
Update: I made your cheesy scalloped potatoes. It is by far the best I've ever made. I won't make my potato bake any other way now. It is a big hit with the family.
Rachel you are making the white sauce the way I was taught. Most cooks I’ve seen on UA-cam dump all the milk at once which makes me nuts! Enjoy watching you cook which is the way my mom taught me! Safe trip to Texas!
Thank you Rachel for the scallop potato recipe I have been wanted to make this dish for a long time. I’m considering baking it sometime this week. Love the way you explain the recipe so simple!!! SIMPLICITY IS THE KEY WORD!!!

I watched how you 'nursed' your rue until it became golden brown. No doubt, that added an extra dimension of flavor. Also, you didn't rush adding all the cheese at once. Such a great method. Oh, they look sooo wonderful. The onions! Super special. These cheesy potatoes would be great served over a plate of steamed broccoli. Yum. I bet some Durkee fried onions would take the dish over moon. Beautiful dish!
Thank you so much, you're right, the trick is to take it slow and let everything come in together beautifully, great suggestion on the onions, sounds delicious to me. Thank you so much for your words my friend. ❤

Rachel, I just love your personality and the way you teach how to cook. Your recipes are wonderful and I just subscribed. I'm assuming your husband is doing the video of you cooking. He does a wonderful job! Thank you for your wonderful channel. I am now learning to be a good cook, thanks to you!

It looks so appetizing and so delicious yummy yummy
I could watch you cook all day. Which I actually did an afternoon. Never been so relaxed. Your demonstrations are the best no rushing camera shots the best ever love ya
Your Scalloped Potatos look delicious! I can't wait to try them, Rachel!! I love that apron of yours!!
Thank you. ❤
So happy to know this!!! It is delicious and one of my favorite dishes. Thank you so much for your comment my friend. ❤
How much milk did you use and butter
Audio is too low

Rachel you are making the white sauce the way I was taught. Most cooks I’ve seen on UA-cam dump all the milk at once which makes me nuts! Enjoy watching you cook which is the way my mom taught me! Safe trip to Texas!
I think because most recipes in cookbooks say to add all at once.
Thank you Rachel for the scallop potato recipe I have been wanted to make this dish for a long time. I’m considering baking it sometime this week. Love the way you explain the recipe so simple!!! SIMPLICITY IS THE KEY WORD!!!
Simply fantastic❤
I think these look “to die for”! and I’ll be making these tonight with steak! I just love watching you cook Rachael, you’re a beautiful sweetheart and I can tell you know your way around the kitchen. Keep bringing us this deliciousness. Love and blessings to you, Ron and all those you love 💕
Haven't made this in a long time. We always add cubed ham to it, too.
Looks so delicious. You have a very patient way of cooking, and your enjoyment of the process shines through. I really enjoy your videos.
Thank you so much for your comment, I appreciate it. ❤👍

One of my favorite potato dishes but I could never get the roux right! Thank you Miss Rachel for finally teaching me! Luv you ❤❤
Give it another try and follow the steps carefully, it needs to be smooth and not dry along with constant whisking.❤️🙂
Looks fantastic, can't wait to make some. Love scalloped potatoes with baked ham.Tfs❤
