Extremely easy. 1 link hot Italian sausage, removed from casing (approximately 3.2 oz.) 1 oz bacon, diced (about 1 typical strip) 1/4 yellow onion, diced 1-3 red potatoes (depending on size), quartered and thinly sliced 2-4 cloves garlic, minced (depending on how much you like garlic) 1-2 leafs kale, chopped 1/4 cup heavy cream 3 1/2 cups chicken stock 1 bay leaf red pepper flakes to taste Place bacon and sausage in cold saucepan and bring to medium-low heat until cooked through, breaking up the sausage as it cooks. Add onions, garlic, and red pepper flakes and cook until onion turns translucent. Add potatoes, chicken stock, and bay leaf, then cover and turn up to high heat. When soup comes to a boil, lower to low heat and let simmer for 35 minutes. Stir in kale, cover, and let sit for 1 minute. Stir in cream and serve.

1-2 leafs kale, chopped
1/4 cup heavy cream
3 1/2 cups chicken stock
1 bay leaf
red pepper flakes to taste
Place bacon and sausage in cold saucepan and bring to medium-low heat until cooked through, breaking up the sausage as it cooks.
@@100nitrog2 why so stingy with sausage and bacon?
@@nicknicholas3186 I probably should have mentioned that the recipe I posted is a shrunk down version for serving 2 people. Between the meat, potatoes, and kale, it makes for a pretty packed bowl.
@@100nitrog2 ok. But you put 3 1/2 cups broth. It don't matter. Sounds great. I'll just double the sausage and bacon. Or triple it. Lol. Thanks for recipe.
Due to the amount of cuts and scratches Sam gets, I braced myself when he was cutting the potatoes lol
Having a blind fold handy would be good 🤓
@@samthecookingguy What is with you and all these cuts and burns? Do you like combining cooking & S and M? Half expected you to be wearing a crown of thorns today.

I need technical assistance with my salivating gland. Time to call the gleek squad!
That’s what he said!
Anyone under 40 doesn't even know what gleeking is...
No one teases hungry cooks better than sam. You are left with no other option than to make the dish. Yum.
I just discovered this channel and I am hooked. The food is as good as the personality of the chef!
