Rachel, my name is John. I’m a 78 y/o disabled Vietnam veteran who suffered a stroke 6 months ago and have been in a rehab hospital having to be fed through a feeding tube. I love to cook so I spend most days watching cooking channel on my iPhone. Your program is my favorite. I’m improving and hope to go home soon and plan on returning to my kitchen and cook for my wife. My stroke caused my swallowing to not work, so I have not eaten in 6 months. Keep up the Mexican dishes. I’m a Texas boy whose parents are from Mexico 🤪🤪

You're like the aunt that we all wish we had to visit and cook with, but we'd want to be at your house every day and we're in Chicago, and we'd have to drive to Ohio and Texas. Love all the explaining and tips you share. I'm Japanese, German & Irish but married into a Mexican family so had to learn how to cook Mexican food. My kids, grandkids and great-grandkids are Mexican and love the cuisine, but I think they're getting tired of our family recipes so I'm switching to your recipes. I am so happy that I came across your channel. We love the way you cook. I'm listening to you talking about all the flavors you smell in your cast iron pan, and I swear I can taste it.
