I usually try not to diminish someones experiences because you never know what someone has gone through. As soon as she said "shes always had a hard life" i was ready to sympathize. Then listening to her list off HER choices that she made, and then say her dad gave her thousands of dollars to help her out, and then seeing the almost $200 she spent on nails.... Nothing happened TO her, she got herself here on her own. As someone that has genuinely had a difficult life that I didnt even want to live through for the majority of and ACTUALLY had no help, hearing this was infuriating. This girl doesnt need therapy, she needs to wake tf up. Shes not mentally ill, shes incompetent. I usually dont comment, especially not negative ones. But this sucked and she sucks. Ungrateful and selfish. If you can shop at sephora, and make MULTIPLE trips to Victoria secret you are not in survival mode. delulu. what a slap in the face for real survivors.

But as this video continued all I was hearing was what most people in this world go through, I hate thinking or commenting about someone's life especially not knowing the whole story, but I couldn't help but feel like she was told no and considers that to be PTSD.... Idk, but as someone who's been diagnosed with exactly what she listed, it just didn't seem genuine... Like she heard other people say it and started to use it herself. She just doesn't know how to take responsibility for her actions.

Not sure if you'll see this Caleb but what the "Buy Here, Pay Here" car place does with people like this is put in as a $23K loan, on a $13k car, pocket $10k as an insurance policy, and sell the 13k loan out to somebody else, probably for 6-7k, let them deal with the headache and they made $16-17k. @eileensuki5696 that's not true. Her continuing to spend her money knowing she is unable to pay for things already, had debt racked up, doesn't have health insurance etc that is a shopping addiction. Addiction isn't linear. Some people get so bad on drugs that they have sex for them. Some people manage jobs and gave families while addicted to drugs. She clearly is bipolar and has a shopping addiction. She took the words back bc he was berating her saying she can't use that word. Her saying she could stop is something ALL addicts say, that doesn't take anything from the fact that she has put herself in an awful position due to a shopping addiction. People fall into addiction BECAUSE they lack coping skills that work and their addiction is the closest thing that helps. So her saying it's a coping skill is just another way of saying her addiction is the only thing that makes her feel good and what she's defaulted to for coping.

It's brave to come on this type of show and be as open as she was. I like that she has a career field that she's working towards, and it's realistic. The fact that she has family that might be able to help her get into that business is a bonus. I feel like her having an excuse for her behavior is going to hold her back. Nothing is as motivating as deciding that you have control in your life, and acting like it. I really hope she's able to get her finances in control for September and can start school.

"Just three thousand dollars...". The entitlement is ridiculous. She said her father and mother both suffer from addiction. She probably felt entitled to his $50,000 because "He'll just spend it on [insert drug of choice]". She equated her "shopping addiction" to a "coping skill". I don't think she understands what a skill is. $1500 for a dog? When there are shelters full. I feel bad for her ex husband. Her father raised her to be like that so don't feel too too bad for him.
Edit: She said "I milked that man dry"! About her own father!? Shows you what she thinks of people. They're there to be used 😠

My teachers told me if I didn’t go to college I’d be a garbage man. In 2015 I graduated high school, got into a trade union that paid me to learn/earn certificates, at 23 I was a journeyman making $58 an hour, now I’m 27, I have my own business and employ my union brothers, with a family of 6, two cars, one house and a vacation home, 22 acres of land, and a comfortable living.
