@@tjcogger1974I work with a lot of vets and they all have close to 100% disability and they tell me they just went to the base doctor (or what ever it’s called lol) for every little injury so it’s documented and they get disability with no life altering injuries. Don’t know exactly how it was worded but that was the gists of it

Soldier here, I've seen so many soldiers like this. They're not disciplined while they're in either, complain they don't make enough money while door dashing every meal, stay in the barracks every weekend and make everyone uncomfortable or mad. They find all the right words to say to fake a disability claim to the VA. He very likely barely made it through by meeting the bare minimum standard and did nothing but drag the soldiers around him down. To make ot very clear with what he saod his income was he was lower enlisted, so he had access to free food. He also like every soldier has access to free financial advisors and multiple free services that would have helped with his addiction. He was handed everything

My dad served 8 years in the Marines , did three tours to Iraq and more. Came back with severe PTSD, knee surgery, should surgery and more and they gave him $1900 a month which he is beyond grateful and he invests every penny of it. Ridiculous he’s taking advantage of the system when there’s real vets who needs the help.

10 year Army vet here and I've seen so many dudes just like this while serving. This is the dude that was playing D&D in the barracks while ordering take out every single night instead of eating the free meal at the DFAC, and taking out a car loan for a mustang with a 24% interest rate. This is also the type of "soldier" that would always be on a temporary profile just to get out of doing PT. This guy would have fucking loved blowing every last cent of his little army check on the juicy girl bars if he ever came to Korea. (if you've ever served in Korea you know exactly what I'm talking about)

Watching this dude - I understand a bit more why ppl shit on me when I say I don't have time/energy to cook bc I have multiple disabilities (and I'm working full time).
I have severe Narcolepsy with Cataplexy (+ several other things) and I'm grateful as hell that my boyfriend makes my peanut butter toast in the morning and cooks.
This guy is the closest I've ever seen to literally being lazy. Usually there's deep depression, dysfunction from things like ADHD and autism, or a neurological/physical illness. It's actually annoying, and I know he's probably happy about that. I'm glad Caleb ended early

Three things stood out:
1. The trolling. Remember that when someone is arguing something stupid online, it's probably this guy.
2. His aversion to speaking about the disability made me think it is faked.
3. All this time to spend money, but can't find an hour a week to get groceries.
Adding 4: his original score of 7 was based on owning a house and a car. Turns out the house is appraised at sub 100k and on a VA loan, and on the car he owes three times its value.
Remember this when people at your income level are driving way nicer cars and owning homes - they're in debt for them, they don't own them.
Why can't he just order them online???
Don't forget how, when Caleb said he never had been to a strip club before, his response was--100% seriously--to ask if Caleb was a virgin. Like, he can't even conceptualize the idea that a man can have a sexual relationship without having to buy it in some way.
