I’m 45 and just got on trt. My free t was bottomed out. Felt like crap every day. Now I have energy, sleep like a baby, actually love life again. Trt is a life saver.
As a psychiatrist, I found this life narrative authentic, realistic and educational……worth the risk of self disclosure. Congrats on coming through depression!
My dude....I had 81ng/dL! I am soooo glad to have found More Plates More Dates. He saved me, my family, wife, kids, etc. I was in the same boat as you. I'm only 1 month in and I feel like a normal human again. Very happy to have found your channel, as well. I'm on 2 times a week, 0.3ml subQ.
I had low T and got injections of T weekly of 1 ml (200mg) weekly. After several months I noticed more energy, better mood and confidence, less fat and more muscle, and got back to working out. It changed my life.
I had the same problem coming out of the Army. I was having terrible anxiety, depression and depersonalization. VA refused to treat me with TRT, even though I was low. I went to a private doctor who prescribed me testosterone and it worked.
I have heard that saltpeter/gun powder is used in military food which lowers testosterone to keep me "subdued " .....back in the early 70's and before that going decades back the thought was it would lessen homosexual acts while out to sea if one were in the navy ...etc...etc.....
The VA refuses to treat a lot don't they? I literally ran away from them years ago. At one point it felt like they were either trying to keep me down or kill me off with their highly toxic meds. Good for you seeking a better route and God bless your journey. This reality sucks to wake up to, so painful with the ssdd. How are you doing now?
Good video Noah. It's because I found your videos I asked my doctor for a hormone test. I have been on trt for over 2 years now. Love you man! Keep up the videos.
My levels r 740 and I feel ok not great so my urologist wants to put me on test 250 every 2 weeks but my boy said take like .05 to .08cc per week it's better. What's ur thought on that?
Being that you were on trt for 6 years what are your thoughts on being on trt forever my friend says :It weakens your natural ability to make test. If your on it for too long you lose everything you gained and nothing is bad about it besides your kidneys filtering it constantly but eventually you'll lose everything with no hopes of getting it all back. More injuries later and muscles weak because of no test natural in body.....is that true
I’ve watched a few of your past videos since I started TRT last year. That being said, you look the best and most healthy in this video. Keep doing what you’re doing, man!
Hello Noah, I decided to check back into your channel. I have been on TRT for 5 years and as you have noted it is not a cure all for depression and anxiety. It is great to see you after 6 years you look supper healthy! It is nice to see another person along the same journey as myself. It is nice to see you. Take good care. Tim
Back in the day I would post a video per week on TRT and now I am scared to post a video a year lol. Nearly lost my channel for posting about my TRT but hopefully with proper disclaimers I can find the confidence to share openly about my journey once more.
A dr I went to literally said my test was normal. My testosterone shown up as a 60 year old. I’m 21 right now. Then I went to another dr and he immediately put me on test. I’m feeling a lot better now.
@@كيمياء-وغيرها A lot better. My mental health has improved the most. I feel like a normal person. I don’t feel weak or mentally weak anymore. My body fat has dropped while my muscle mass has increased. I don’t abuse it to clarify. I take just enough to make my test levels normal for my age.
Man our stories are almost identical. I was really low even for a 43 year old and I've had every single problem that you've had as well. TRT isn't the cure all but it does help a lot with the motivation to figure out why we feel the way we do and physically do something about it. Thank you for putting these videos out in public. I thought for the longest time I was the only one who was as bad as I was and that nobody just understand what it was like. I'm doing well now with a lot of help and support and I'm loving life. To anyone out there suffering or going through this now, PLEASE don't give up. It WILL pass. Be brave and don't think seeking help is a sign of weakness.
Thank you for this, so many men suffer from this from a young age onward. Believe me you were not rambling. I really appreciate you and I know many other people do.
I was recently diagnosed with low testosterone at the age of 27. Glad to know there's someone like me, I felt I was singled out. Prior to taking TRT, I felt anxious about everything it affected me, my work and everything. Feeling like a crap every single day, waking up feeling like you don't want to do anything and just be a couch potato all day having no motivation and shit. Its hard. I have just started TRT, feeling great day by day and mental focus is getting back on its track. Relief I'm not the only one dealing with this at an early age.
@@zahuruddinsheikh2814 well, after 10 weeks of being on it. It feels really great, the sleep is good, the mood is better, the focus is on point, the emotions are pretty stable than before I wasn’t on it. It really helped me a lot in terms of emotionally, mentally and a bit on physically since we’re running 250 a week. Body fat is coming down also, which is great as I have type 2 Diabetes. Overall, would only recommend this to people who really needs it, but recreationally? I wouldn’t recommend it but if you’re planning on competing then sky is the limit tho.
Noah, please keep the TRT vids coming. I have learned so much from them. I think you have been one of the only places to see and hear what it’s like to live life on TRT in a healthy manor. You have brought TRT out of the shadows. You are an inspiration and I hope you continue to be a torch bearer for the many of us out there on this TRT journey with you. I would love to see new videos about your blood work, what size needle you use to inject currently, and why you increased your dose from 120mg to 140mg. Don’t stop the TRT videos man. There are many of us out here that really enjoy and get a lot out of them.
What a difference from your first video. Watched a ton of your vids when I started TRT at 35 (2 years ago) after a bout with some serious depression. I was lucky to have a PCP that was even willing to check my T levels, they were 190. I never messed with any steroids and been lifting weight for years so it was a shock. Keep up the great content.
Thanks for the video! I start my own TRT journey in 2 days after 10 years of pain and misery with no answers to why my health was deteriorating so badly. Thanks for the grounding that this injection I will now need for the rest of my life is just a boost to help me work my ass off to be healthy again.
@@ashleytaylor994 more energy less depression but I’ve been off for 6 months because my wife and I are trying to have a child and I feel like shit again.
Thank you for sharing, as I am binging these videos in my first week. My reasoning for getting my testosterone levels checked was due to my depression and mood swings. I have been on antidepressants, just nothing. I did my first dose this past Thursdays, I feel very hopeful and feel this is start of my work. My initial reading was 208
@bignoknow I've dipped in and out of your videos for a few years. Never seen you look as happy ans relaxed as you do in this one. Keep up the great work in sharing your challenges and solutions with everyone
Thanks for talking about this! I found out I was in the lower end of normal at 28 and experiencing a lot of symptoms. Thankfully I have a doctor who was willing to view it as an option despite being in the reference range. Since starting, I feel like a new person and feel whole again. I'm really glad to see you speaking about your experience starting on it young as I've faced a fair bit of stigma for doing so
Thank you, I am now 6 weeks into TRT. I answered YES to all of the symptoms and went to get tested and it was extremely now. Not as low as yours but in the dangerous level. In 2019 my T level was 534 and it was 235 just 5 years later. I spent the last 2 years saying "Something ain't right" and hearing doctors say "well... you are getting older." I honestly feel like a completely new man, and only been 6 weeks! The mood is so much better, the emotions are handled, the anxiety is GONE, I feel like I have purpose and excitement again, the gym is going amazingly well, and the sleep, maybe the best thing so far, I was never able to sleep through the night and would wake up so tired! Even if I only get 6 hours of sleep it is restful blissful sleep! But getting 8 hours is now common as opposed to rare! I am so happy to do this!
I just found your page today! Thank you for posting this. I am almost 60 yrs old, and have only found out I had low T about 4-years ago! I had been suffering from depression and anxiety for years and never once did any of my doctors test me for Low T, or other hormonal imbalances. I am now on TRT, and have been for about two years, but some insurance issues came up and I was off of it for almost a year. I'm back now, and my numbers are still low, and my Doc keeps increasing the amount, I am currently using a gel. I look forward to watching more videos on this very important subject. Thank you!
Great video. I wish more men would get their hormone levels checked. I'm almost 54 years old, and have been on bioidentical TRT for 7 years under the watchful eye of a board-certified, anti-aging physician. It has made a huge difference in my life, not the least of which is the improvement in the overall sense of apathy I was feeling. TRT definitely isn't a panacea, but it sure helped me. Congratulations on your journey, especially your sobriety.
Stay with it. Experiment with dosing with your doctor. Everyone is so different. It's like a silver bullet the sneaks up on you in the middle of the night. You'll say to yourself, "wow I'm feel a lot better". This comes from someone who has been on it for 7 years. I try to go off of it and it rock my world I'm back on it for life. Good luck!!!
thank you for this video, i've had a very similar experience to you since I was in my early 20's, i've been living with the issues till yesterday, i'm 39 now, after having to beg for a blood test for my hormone levels. It was the basis for all my mental/physical issues. I was angry that it wasn't resolved many years ago, but relieved to find the answer. Thanks for sharing all this information.
@@ashleytaylor994 unfortunately it is hard to get my doctor to acknowledge the issue, maybe it’s an Australian thing with medical industry here stringent with testosterone im not sure but I exercise regularly, eat well and dont drink alcohol often. I feel pretty good but Im sure id feel a lot better with TRT based on app the reading Ive done.
It feels like your journey is my journey, in a way. Tested at 142 with 0 Estro and I sorta freaked! I am glad I watched all you vids on this bc I was searching for answers through experience. Im on TRT now and waiting for the improvements to kick in. Thanks again hombre!!!!
Dude.. I’ve watched a few of your videos and you’ve hit on so many points that I can relate to. Doing a consultation tomorrow. Thank you for talking about it so openly and sharing your personal experience!!
I’m 21 and my test level came back to 330. I just started TRT yesterday and last night I felt an amazing pump at the gym and this morning I woke up with a good amount of energy and morning wood, so far I’m glad I took this big step
Dill Pickle Hey bro, Just seeing how you are with TRT? Im 21 aswell, It literally suck to have depression and the feeling of not being able grow muscle or body mass, Hopefully we can make this decade even better. Yesterday i went the doctors to check my blood test, then Checked my results today and i had low T about 6mnl/L which is below average.(10 - 33.4) DOC wants me to wait another 4 weeks for another Blood test just to make sure (government shit) before he chucks me on Testosterone therapy! I bloody hope it helps me as its helping you! Cant wait to chuck some gains up in the gym! Other than that bro Good luck on recovery! 👍
@@kevintowers8006 there are risks, low sperm count, an increase in estrogen hormones and a decrease in DHEA, make sure your Dr. Tests for both before along with your T and again after first 10 weeks of treatment. There are other risks as well give it a google
Noah first and foremost thank you for being such an inspiration! 🙏Secondly I too found out I had low t from years of opiate addiction and also my VA doctor ordered an MRI and found out that I had partial empty sella of my pituitary gland. Dealing with the VA endocrinology department can be frustrating... They started me on 50mgs weekly as of November 6th. I definitely know I need an increase and will be seeing the doctor the first week of February. Please continue to post videos on trt, we need you!! Also I'm just over 30 days sober and have dealt with major depression and generalized anxiety disorder. So much in common with you... I look forward to seeing more videos! FTHers
Hi Noah, I feel you, I've spent 20 years of the most resistant depression , went through it all, and when I was ready to quit, someone told me if I had checked my hormones levels... I'm doing great now! Actually im about to hit the gym, and depression is finally gone, this is week #16. Now, I want to build my own channel, on completely another topic, not TRT or depression , but im stalling damm... But after twenty years of literally hell, I'm alright ... yup doing 200mg a week at the moment .. doctor prescribed ofcourse! My doctor rocks, he says i can avoid the hell i was living in , man, I'm happy you found it younger than me, I'm 37, found life at 37... have a great day.
I have always suffered from depression but now that im in my late 50s its not so bad..but i found out that my testosterone level was at 153 my doctor has put me on a home injection testosterone theopy...i love it an cant wait to up my levels..only problem is i have lower back pain called sciatica nerve ..energy levels are better but pain from back puts me back in bed until operation..wish me luck
I’m 32 and finally found relief from depression because of trt. It’s month five and I’m just now feeling better. I was freaking out thinking that it was not going to help.
It's been 1 year and 1 week on trt, and thanks to the guy who told me about this. I'm fine, great. Almost a full week without exercise but that has never happened in 1 year. I'll get back to exercise.
Thank you so much for sharing this. At 72 my testosterone was about 2mg/dl with 15% bone loss in last 10 years and losing height. Now on replacement and can identify with what you are saying. I too was getting resistance from my doctor and that's a bad place to be when you are suffering. Luckily I found a way to work through that by getting a referral to an edno, who immediately put me on TRT.
Your TRT videos are what brought me to your channel. Personally I dont see myself and havent done well staying up to date with your latest content - but understand it's where you need to be mentally at this point. It is good to see you looking happier and healthier and I'm sure your new direction is helping a ton of people. For anyone looking for TRT content / advise I would suggest Jay Campbell. He seems to be more of a product, doctor and supplement scheel lately as far as podcasts go, but his book covers a lot of current TRT studies. It's honestly better to take the time to sit down and read the research papers though, everyone is different. TRT is highly successful for those who take understanding it into their own hands and problematic for those who dont. Good luck for continued success Noah.
My T was measured at 80 ng/dl and my primary doc said don't worry, you're just getting old. I told him that he had no idea of what he was saying. And I took my self directly to an Endocrinologist to get an expert opinion. She said that I was at a "morbidly low level" and it was good that I came to her because I probably wouldn't see 75 (I'm 69) if I didn't. After a year and a half on TRT my T level has been holding steady at betw 700-800ng/dl, My depression has been lifted. My energy level is raised (I'm a B+ cyclist now). I lift weights AND build muscle and have lost about 25 lbs (the increased biking helped). And my libido....WOW! (but I'm still 69 and ugly to younger women so what's the use there!) But I never went back to that Primary. In fact my Endo doc is my primary as she monitors all my blood levels and body functions (trt affects EVERYTHING).
I have been on trt for seven years. Just had an appointment with my urologist. I still need it. But he told me that I'm probably have to be on it for the rest of my life. I am now 56 so I'm at the age where is very common. Without it I cannot function with it I feel like a new person but it is not take care of all my problems like you said. I am so happy you're talking about this men need to know more about this. I don't understand Google at all
For anyone wondering, becoming infertile from TRT is not necessarily permanent. It is possible to cease TRT and achieve conception with the aid of HCG.
Thanks for posting this video to highlight the issues of Hypogonadism! I'm 29 and havn't felt right like almost 'unfinished' it took 6 months of bloodtest before my Doctor, would even consider giving me TRT. I'm now on my course and have had 4 intravenous appointments to date, seeing the change both physically and mentally has been so encouraging to me. I used to be able to eat all kinds of crap and not gain weight, i too now put on weight easily, so i will be looking to exercise in the near future. Again thanks for posting.
I took steroids 10yrs straight After five years being off. my testosterone never went over 200ng ,been on prescribed TRT since 2002 it has saved my life. Got my body mind & health back. I do want to get off Cymbalta. Ii learned you have to manage your doctor
Did you blast and cruise for ten years? I've been on non stop for two years and am absolutely shitting myself coming off. I'm still young and I do expect full recovery but would you have any advice for when coming off?
@@viveremilitareest9281 you say you expect to recover because you're young? It's actually the complete opposite for young men. Think about it scientifically for once, instead of blogs. In your prime you stopped cold your natural T production. Whether it's a low dose or high dose doesn't even matter. As soon as you pump in just a tad, it starts shutting you down. The end. You think your nuts will start pumping what they would have natural ever again? Lol you've created receptors for the extra test throughout your body which will never be filled by your nuts. Therefore you will always be in a deficiency.
You’ve given me hope buddy. Just started TRT and I’m confident it’ll bridge the gap with all the other work I’m doing. One other thing to add; no need to worry about estrogen. It’s necessary for so many factors and will naturally adjust to the testosterone dose so let it be. Just get test where it needs to be and the rest should take care of itself.
Great video!! At 40 years old I had my T tested. It should be between 600 and 800. It came back 47! It was so low they sent me to a endocrinologist to make sure I didn't have some other problems causing this super low T. It turned out that I was ok, and I began TRT. What a change it made! Night and day difference! I haven't felt this good since I was 18. Maybe my T was never where it was supposed to be idk. I'm great now though!!
Great video and glad TRT has helped you. I was low T and started TRT in March. I was also taking Lexopro for anxiety and stress. I am off Lexopro, lost weight, have purpose in life and as for my libido....... Wow! I love TRT but I have done the same such as working out daily, sustained a healthier diet and definitely enjoying life more as I have much more energy.
thank you, Noah. I'm about to start TRT for many of the same reasons. I will also be taking additional meds to prevent the shrinkage, etc. I'm glad you're doing better. It sucks being down.
This is just one more story added to many that I have heard where the doctor dismisses the patient's (soon to be found correct) suspicion. In many of those stories, the doctor refused to entertain the idea and so the problem continued for many years. Just because someone is a doctor doesn't mean they are intelligent. Many did well in school solely because they have a good memory, but they don't have the intelligence to solve problems or analyze data properly. However, because they got high marks, they have that arrogance that they are always right. If your doctor won't listen to you, find a new doctor!
@@PozzaPizz tbh mate, it's worse in Canada. Doctors in Ontario, Canada get paid for having patients on a roster. Don't even have to see the patients, just register them to your practice. Also, fraud is rampant. Billing the provincial healthcare plan (universal healthcare) for services that were never rendered. Some doctors are making more than a million dollars a year for no good reason. Not to mention an MRI for somebody with a brain tumor is a 6 month wait. (Ironically only other option to get one quicker is going the USA) Universal healthcare isn't all sunshine and rainbows.
Thank you for sharing I’m on my first week and I’m 51 and just suffered for years and needed to hear that it took a few months to kick in thank you again
I was having all the classic symptoms, I put on so much weight I thought I was close to a heart attack and needed a stint. Long story short I lost 50 lbs. I feel so much better.
My friends who got on TRT prescribed. At first they say they felt better -but after awhile they say that the body gets used to it and they go back to feeling the same as prior to the TRT. Anyone else experience this?
I am 48 my level here in the uk was 9 in a range of 9-27 . I had to fight for the initial test after years of similar issues to you. Trt for me has mostly been positive if I get low I now have the motivation to overcome where as before I’d just curl up. The big thing here in the uk is the lack of medical knowledge and the reluctance to prescribe it, but I am blessed with a brain that loves to learn so researched it on the net for months including watching your videos. Though gaining the knowledge I could put it to my doctor on a level field and now together we progress though my treatment . Thank you for the inspiration.
That's awesome man. It's always a good idea to take control of your life because nobody else will put in the time to do it for you. Like you said, videos such as this are a good source of information because it's first hand experience, but research/medical papers also help.
simon ross The uk is massively behind hence the uneducated doctor you spoke to, another guy not to hinder the great videos Noel does is Jerry brainum . He has years of experience and a great source of information..
Insidious Philious I had a lump under my nipple and it was caused by high prolactin. No exogenous T used. Was put on tamoxifen and then told about the whey. Although he did say avoid soy which I already knew about. More tests to confirm high prolactin needed
As male with secondary hypogonadism I appreciate you talking about this. People think of you take T, it is only for fitness. So thanks for some light on the problem
There are more of us out here with low T than you can imagine. When I was 30 I had low T and they put me on the trt shots. After being on them administered by the doctor, and I will never forget the day that I felt euphoric. That was a great feeling. After losing my job and my insurance of course that stopped. I am now 66 and found there was a study of low T that I have just recently enrolled in. My levels were 150. I'm a guinea pig for AndroGel. Don't know yet if I've got the real thing or a placebo but at this age you don't feel like doing shit so I figured what the hell I'll give it a try.
I’m actual watching this because my son has to start taking this and I’m so worried that it may have terrible side effects thank you 🙏🏾 for this because you made me feel much better
I went through some pretty crazy depression for years, went through the exact same thing - was prescribed Zoloft, Lexapro, etc and then I eventually just stopped taking the medications because they weren't doing anything. Eventually I went back because I was having some other issues, etc and finally got bloodwork - nearly just as low as yours, 180 ng/dl - like a 90 year old man. Took 4 ridiculous months of blood tests, pre-requisite appointments, etc and I finally just got my prescription and injected TRT ~3-days ago.
Thanks for being open and honest on your vids. I had mine checked and I’m a 47 yr old and my total was 88. I’ve been on test cyp for about 4 months feeling a lot better. Thanks
Thanks for the video. In Finland, doctors usually use "total T" when studying the amount of testosterone. I'm couple of weeks away from turning 29 and was just diagnosed with very low T and "hypogonadotropic hypogonadism". My total testosterone was 1.0-1.2 nmol/l which is super low. Doctor prescribed me Sustanon injections every 4 weeks. In the future I'm probably gonna switch to Nebido, which won't have to be injected so soon. My symptoms living with low T were and are still so bad, that treatment was critical to start now. I've always been a huge football (soccer) fan, but in 2020 I didn't play a single game. Partly because of corona, partly because of low T. Hopefully I'll get my life back in the coming months. I also hope to get my pituitary gland working again...
Hello Friend. In my opinion, a sustanon mix every 4 weeks is definitely not enough. Good results can be obtained every 14 days after the injection or even 10 days. Everyone is different and you must approach this matter individually. good luck and best regards.
I've had major depression issues all my life. At 40 years of age they told me I had hypothyroidism and low testosterone I've been on TRT and Levothyroxine since. Depression still here but is now much more tolerable. Horrible fatigue has become mild fatigue. Get your blood tested for thyroid or testosterone deficiencies, guys, especially if you have depression.
@@ashleytaylor994 yes, more energy less depression. Not a cure but it made my life manageable. Prior to that I went to rehab to stop abusing alcohol, weed, and other drugs and have been sober since 2016.
@@jbastidas29 I am still doing well. The depression and fatigue are still here but I can function and get things done and maintain relationships. I don't expect a cure. I've had it too long and tried too many solutions. But I can say the thyroid and testosterone situations actually had a big positive effect even though the readings were only marginally lower than the norm. If you do use testosterone bear in mind it will shrink your testicles but won't ruin sexual function. But only do that if your levels are below what they should be. But yeah I'd suggest going to doctor and getting those two things tested. Also vitamin D level. If any of those levels are below you need to push the doctor if he shrugs it off as no big deal. You have to be your own best advocate regarding your mental health and what pain you are in because to the rest of the world you look fine / normal and it isn't a big deal. But it is a big deal.
In high dosages they can cause severe negative effects such as severe outbreaks of acne, hair loss, insomnia, increased body temperature, growth of the heart, increased aggression, atrophy of the testicles, gynecomastia. Different types of anabolic steroids have a tendency to cause different effects also depending on the dosage. I think steroids are considered too powerful and dangerous to allow people to take on their own accord.
@@MindlessStephen Surely if say professional bodybuilders could use the various types of steroids without experiencing negative effects they would. I assume they accept these negative effects out of necessity. If private people could purchase and inject steroids with no prescription in any amount they desired it could be very dangerous.
Any important medical decision should be considered carefully. You call that "justification" and other people call it "situation appropriate reasoning."

It cures almost everything, and it definitely helps you feel better about everything, It is a fountain of youth for me. Oh and it even helps with a swollen prostate symptoms. My old gatekeeper doctor swore that it would be like adding gasoline to my prostate fire, lol been the opposite. His miseducated and over cautious endocrinologist finally allowed him to have a little T gel at the very end of his like. I’m not going to suffer the same
You should do a video on what meal plan you followed when you got shredded. On a previous video I noticed a ton of comments asking for that. It may be a good video for you ;)
I suffered extreme fatigue for years in my 20s. Finally at the age of 31 I had bloodwork done. My Total T was 784 which is not bad at all but my Free T was non existent. Essentially I had more than enough T flowing in me and none was being used. Doctor prescribed me 200mg of Testosterone Cypionate. By day 3 I was completely off of caffeine. Before that shot the going anywhere or doing anything without an excessive amount of caffeine was next to impossible. Im very thankful for you sharing your experience. The thought of my testicles shrinking and becoming sterile is daunting because I want to grow my family. It sucks because for the first time since I was a child I actually feel like I'm supposed to feel. For me the shot fixed my issues 100%. BUT the cost of staying on this will be testicle shrinking and sterility which my wife is very bummed out about. Just im experience with TRT.
There's some ways to deal with that. I've heard that HCG and other fertility drugs can help. Also it varies on how much it affects fertility per person so don't give up! Hoping the best for you with future children.
Bloody ridiculous that they knee jerk a reaction without even investigating properly. My T was (UK measure) 0.4 in other words literally 0. I fully sympathise with your predicament, I wanted to die, I would just cry in the shower so my wife couldn’t hear. It was that bad, I just hate these judgemental social media platforms. Running scared of perceived social attitudes and norms.
ok in his newer video from august this year, he says he is now on 120mg/week. Doc originally started him on 200 and then slowly tapered down. But he never says what his levels are.
I’d love to hear you talk about the stages treatment has brought you through. I’ve been on TRT for two years and I’ve experienced periods where I feel like my mind is growing and repairing, even memories coming back that I had completely lost. Other phases of fat gain (you mentioned this) and periods of muscle growth & maturity, body re-composition etc. I’m curious how long these phases of change and growth continued for you? Or, are they still taking place? I know the body sees quick improvement when healing from damage or deficiency, I also know that it can sometime take a decade to see maximum reversal and improvement, alcoholism for example. I’m wondering if the repair phases/growth from TRT are this long lasting in your experience thus far. I’ve read many studies and papers but I’d love your personal insights. I’m 38 btw. My symptoms started when I was about 30. My levels declined about 15% a year until I stated treatment.
Right now my testoerone is 180's. Starting my journey in June. I'm kinda scared because I got high blood pressure as well and I know high BP and test don't mix.. What fun🤦♂️
Thank you so much, I found your video from like 5 years ago about depersonalization, and it helped, if you want to you can look at the comment I wrote Thank you, again
having to beg is very relatable, its sad. the stigma. 3 months in at 31, never felt this good. pretty sure ive had this my whole life. Even was shamed by a female pharmacist a few weeks back, accused of abusing medication i need because i'm tall and built. Its so weird even with Low test i was able to put on 20 pounds of mass first year and a half lifting. Sometimes its genetics i know and hard work. the doctors are ran by big pharma, among a bunch of other agendas like depopulation. its always antidepressants being pushed. The less assertive men are the easier they are to control.
Women can build muscle with on average 20x less testosterone than men. You probably worked your tail off for that 20lbs when the average guy could have done next to nothing for it.
I'm in the middle of doing as much research as possible on TRT in preparation for meeting with my doctor in a month, so I really appreciate your insight on this. I'm 40 and the last couple years have been rough with depression, weight gain, ED, etc. I don't truly know if I have low T but it's something I want to speak to my doctor about as a possibility. Definitely not taking this decision lightly since it's a major life change.
Why come off of TRT if you’re in a good place? Knowing your testosterone will never be in a normal range, also do you think at 22 with a testosterone level of 388 you would feel low T side effects?
I just got on TRT at age 23 (almost 24) and it's been a week so far.. levels were at 350 and I had all the symptoms of low T..feeling hopeless in a way and didn't want to go the SSRI route so I got my bloods and doctor prescribed me 150mg/week. I'd say go for it if you feel it may help you.
I have a lot of interest in TRT information being a 57 year old. I’m going to get my levels checked my next physical. I just had a discussion with a good friend of mine who started TRT and his energy is great and his lean muscle mass has increased and very low body fat. He looks great. He was as low as 89. He is now up to 1500. He said he gets testosterone shot that implants chips that last up to 7 months so he doesn’t have to give himself a shot every week. I also appreciate you talking about mental illness . It is an issue that has been swept under the rug. I have family members with mental illness so I can relate to your situation. I’ve lived it every day. I wish you luck and hope our government brings mental illness awareness so people can get the help they need. My daughter suffers from depression and anxiety and my brother has manic depression.
keep doses low 9mg rad ev 2-3 days long af half life.... and test is better. u need it. after arms a lot ull be depressed.u prolly seen it now. hcg / recomb fsh to recover. from all.

At what month did you start to notice change?

I had the same problem coming out of the Army. I was having terrible anxiety, depression and depersonalization. VA refused to treat me with TRT, even though I was low. I went to a private doctor who prescribed me testosterone and it worked.
Jonathan Turner thats crazy i had 0 problems getting it done with VA, my appt. for pellets is next week
I have heard that saltpeter/gun powder is used in military food which lowers testosterone to keep me "subdued " .....back in the early 70's and before that going decades back the thought was it would lessen homosexual acts while out to sea if one were in the navy ...etc...etc.....
Most people that have had shock or trauma their adrenals go down and thus their hormones. You should get your adrenal hormones measured
For how long you been on trt ?
I'm 43 btw

Do you feel better since starting trt?
I’ve watched a few of your past videos since I started TRT last year. That being said, you look the best and most healthy in this video. Keep doing what you’re doing, man!
Do you feel better on trt?
Hello Noah, I decided to check back into your channel. I have been on TRT for 5 years and as you have noted it is not a cure all for depression and anxiety. It is great to see you after 6 years you look supper healthy! It is nice to see another person along the same journey as myself. It is nice to see you. Take good care. Tim
Do you feel better since starting trt?
Back in the day I would post a video per week on TRT and now I am scared to post a video a year lol. Nearly lost my channel for posting about my TRT but hopefully with proper disclaimers I can find the confidence to share openly about my journey once more.
removing this comment sorry... posted before you talk about fertility in the vid

Good information brother thanks.
A dr I went to literally said my test was normal. My testosterone shown up as a 60 year old. I’m 21 right now. Then I went to another dr and he immediately put me on test. I’m feeling a lot better now.
How are doing now? Give me your experience plz
If you're 21 years old and you think you Need testosterone replacement you got big problems
I'm 21 and have really low testosterone, are you still on it? As of 2024 please get back to me what are the affects and how has it benefited you?

Nice to hear you sharing your experience, bro. Thx
Is it possible to become fertile again after long term TRT?
Relief I'm not the only one dealing with this at an early age.
how you feeling now brother? Share your progress if you can.
Any differences? Did you have Depersonalization Adam?

Thank you!
Gel is no good have to get the shots
Great video. I wish more men would get their hormone levels checked. I'm almost 54 years old, and have been on bioidentical TRT for 7 years under the watchful eye of a board-certified, anti-aging physician. It has made a huge difference in my life, not the least of which is the improvement in the overall sense of apathy I was feeling. TRT definitely isn't a panacea, but it sure helped me. Congratulations on your journey, especially your sobriety.
Congrats from the UK for 6 years on TRT! This is what it's all about.

Stay with it. Experiment with dosing with your doctor. Everyone is so different. It's like a silver bullet the sneaks up on you in the middle of the night.

I just had bloodwork done twice. Had a 145. I’m ready to get this started. Doc is on board.
How are u now Chris???? Have you had despersonalization before? I hav

Head to the Philippines buddy , I've got a 35 year old girl friend ,she's beautiful and I'm 65

Therefore you will always be in a deficiency.
steroids and cymbalta, wtf is wrong with you lmao
Unfortunately that is most DR's anymore.
Especially in the USA where they make the most $$ by having as many patients in a day as possible
@@PozzaPizz its not in USA, everywhere in the world is the same story. The doctors in the managed health care have no idea how to manage sex hormones
(Ironically only other option to get one quicker is going the USA)
Universal healthcare isn't all sunshine and rainbows.

My uk Endo told me whey protein causes Gyno 🙈🙈🙈 after my test levels came back at 19.
simon ross The uk is massively behind hence the uneducated doctor you spoke to, another guy not to hinder the great videos Noel does is Jerry brainum . He has years of experience and a great source of information..
Insidious Philious I had a lump under my nipple and it was caused by high prolactin. No exogenous T used. Was put on tamoxifen and then told about the whey. Although he did say avoid soy which I already knew about. More tests to confirm high prolactin needed
simon ross sounds like they are treating the gyno and not the cause of the initial problem .. Have you had a thyroid function test ?.
As male with secondary hypogonadism I appreciate you talking about this. People think of you take T, it is only for fitness. So thanks for some light on the problem
i got my blood checked at 27 and found out my levels were low which explains so much how I had been feeling since I was 25. TRT saved me.
What are you doing now?

Excellent video. Very honest, very balanced, very reasonable. Well done sir.
Yeah I still struggle with depression and anxiety whilst on trt but somehow it's also made me work through them better
How do you feel now?
@@ashleytaylor994 Fine thanks
I’m actual watching this because my son has to start taking this and I’m so worried that it may have terrible side effects thank you 🙏🏾 for this because you made me feel much better
Hey dude you inspired me to get tests for my testosterone.. turns out I've been as low as you. And I'm 29 so yeah man thanks
Do you feel better? More energy? Less depression ?
Fantastic video. Your opinions are clearly and fairly explained. I wish you the very best mate.
It's quite worrying that so many guys have to take TRT due to hypogonadisnm and the numbers are increasing year on year!

What are you doing now? Does your pitutary gland secreat LH and FSH again or not? What about your journey on trt? Give me ur experience plz
Noah, thank you for sharing. I can tell how difficult it was for you to share. Thank you! Your story is powerful! You are a strong and brave man!
@GunsAndPoker how are you feeling?
@GunsAndPoker no more depression
Do you feel better? More energy? Less depression ?
Been following your escapades since 5 years ago. We're rooting for you BIG KNOW😃👍
Why can’t you be on testosterone just because you choose to .. there is no need to justify its your choice
Because its illegal and kills people. Duh?
Why can't I be on adderall just because I choose to....there is no need to justify it's my choice.
Any important medical decision should be considered carefully. You call that "justification" and other people call it "situation appropriate reasoning."
thank you for sharing, i was so lost before i started TRT, i felt like i was pathetic. Now im the best version of myself

It cures almost everything, and it definitely helps you feel better about everything, It is a fountain of youth for me. Oh and it even helps with a swollen prostate symptoms. My old gatekeeper doctor swore that it would be like adding gasoline to my prostate fire, lol been the opposite. They ( mainstream ) do not want you to feel good and be manly, depressed, lethargic and feminized is their goal. More sick patients. I have lost waist inches and maintained current weight . Got motivated to do something because My father was at zero, T for years due to a pituitary tumor, and suffered mightily. His miseducated and over cautious endocrinologist finally allowed him to have a little T gel at the very end of his like. I’m not going to suffer the same
A lot of reason. Glad to read your thoughts.
Thank you so much with having the courage in sharing your experience which can help so many people with low T.

In what way has it changed your life? Any details?
dosage? were you low? positive and side effects?

I'm happy for you man. Love your videos. Thanks for these updates and good for you for explaining this stuff despite youtube's weird ass rules
You should do a video on what meal plan you followed when you got shredded. On a previous video I noticed a ton of comments asking for that. It may be a good video for you ;)

Chris_ Chandley eat in a moderate caloric deficit till you lose enough subcutaneous fat, following whatever diet you can stick to.
Seriously eat anything . Under calories. Even fasting.
@ UK really really bad ! Their measured low is a quarter of what the US is !
Hey mate, with this dose 140mg per week it makes u what level in test measure? 700? 800? what?
thats what i was wondering, i mean 140mg/week is a nice cruise.
ok in his newer video from august this year, he says he is now on 120mg/week. Doc originally started him on 200 and then slowly tapered down. But he never says what his levels are.
@@robertnaus88 help please...stupid question...what are everyone talking about here, total T or Free T 🤔. So 200 is low sure, but what exactly is it?
NOT a low dose at 200 mg/ml.... a week. A low reading at 200 ng/ dl or whatever units they use in america, canada, elsewhere....@@contrarian717
Thank you for sharing. Love the honesty that you shared.
Any acne along the way? Wondering how many experience this side effect.
Still taking trt?
Being that you were on trt for 6 years what are your thoughts on being on trt forever my friend says :It weakens your natural ability to make test. If your on it for too long you lose everything you gained and nothing is bad about it besides your kidneys filtering it constantly but eventually you'll lose everything with no hopes of getting it all back. More injuries later and muscles weak because of no test natural in body.....is that true
Right now my testoerone is 180's. Starting my journey in June. I'm kinda scared because I got high blood pressure as well and I know high BP and test don't mix.. What fun🤦♂️

blood work should be the first thing they do. I cant believe there is still quacks around

Very insightful video thank you. My doctor is starting me on TRT next month, I'm hoping I feel better soon.
having to beg is very relatable, its sad.
A agree with ya. New York
I hope he answers why??? I’ve been on for 3 years. Why come off?
I just got on TRT at age 23 (almost 24) and it's been a week so far.. levels were at 350 and I had all the symptoms of low T..feeling hopeless in a way and didn't want to go the SSRI route so I got my bloods and doctor prescribed me 150mg/week. I'd say go for it if you feel it may help you.
Andrew lmk how u feel on it in a few weeks cus I am interested forsure
22 it should be 900 I'm 43 and mines 400 they put me on 100 a week
Hey andrew john hows it going? Noticing improvements?
