Thanks for the info gentlemen! I'm about to go get bloodwork done and I'm pretty sure my levels are at least low. I've been talking with a psychiatrist for months now and it's not helping any of my mental issues, let alone the physical. You guys are absolutely right, any mental health patient should have bloodwork done first, I wasn't sleeping well and I just completed a 3 thousand dollar sleep study which didn't offer much help in terms of diagnosis. What a waste.
I’ve been there… my whole life. Big Pharma “educates” doctors. There isn’t much $ in testosterone. I have seen MANY psychs, primary care, gastro (I have Crohn’s) and all they EVER DO is pull out their script pad and deal drugs (ineffective and often dangerous)… ya know, like the Covid clot shots vs ivermectin or CBD.
@@G0dkill3r T levels came back low, now I’m on TRT. Life is pretty good, but I’m still working on my mental health. TRT isn’t going to fix your issues it only helps you along the journey, you still have to put in the work
@@brandolifts7928 my blood test results came back with low test. My doctor and I have been discussing treatment. Thank you for your reply man. I’m going to give this a shot.
🇨🇦 we use pmol/l In 3 years I went from 17.6 to 13.3 at 56 now. Only one week in to treatment and I am looking forward to feeling better. We shall see.
This was very fascinating. Great to her Dr. Andrew is pushing back against the stigma around TRT. You mentioned that a "normal level" is somewhere between 12 and 30. I remember doing a test when I was 25 (2 years ago) and my results came out to be 12.8. Listening to this conversation it would seem like that would be a very low level for someone of my age wouldn't it?
I am really contemplating TRT. 50 yrs, close to 300 lbs, low energy, and low sex drive. This video is very informative and makes my decision a lot easier. My PCP does not want me to do TRT but I am looking at local clinics.
Have your doc do an ultra sensitive estradiol lab too. You're likely low on testosterone and have a high estradiol level. If your estradiol isn't high now, it will go there. Obese individuals have high aromatase levels and will convert testosterone to estrogen. That makes it really hard to lose weight and it actually makes your testis decrease producing testosterone. I took loads of testosterone before I found out.... I'm finally getting benefit from my testosterone, just from taking a very low dose aromatase inhibitor once a week along with my testosterone. Arimadex seems to have the least side effects. Oh and stop contemplating it and do it. You'll be happy you did.
Great video. I’m 45 and my over all energy and feeling ain’t what it used to be. I’m not looking to get huge, I just want good sleep, mood, focus. I think test will become what marijuana has become….first hated on and said to be bad, now a proven medication. My TRT DR apt is Tuesday.
I have been off trt for about 12 weeks now and im going through a rollercoaster as in up and down emotionally. the reason i got off was for fertility reasons and the hcg was not agreeing with me. im really considering getting back on as soon as the mrs falls pregnant.
I'm in Canada, and I want to get my Testosterone checked. I've struggled with depression and anxiety all through my 20's. I'm just concerned, because I feel like discussing anything hormone related in Canada is very stigmatized. I also don't want to have my levels checked, be on the low end of normal, and have the Dr. just say, "Well. You're in normal range."
guys his meds is what lowered his levels,i know ive been on them and so does subs, and they are the worst, now not sure what to do because i know if i get off subs it will bring my levels up,but thats the problem, have you guys worked with people on subs>
No they won’t block it but it I am on both but subs still have side effects and probably don’t get the full mental benefit of trt. I do plan on getting off subs as I have been on them for 5 years off and on for 10 but since starting trt a few months ago I do feel better than I have in a long time and have the confidence that I can get off the subs eventually.
High cholesterol and diabetes are not for life. TRT can work as a catalyst to reverse them both, hard work and diet but TRT works as a catalyst to achieve those goals, giving yoy energy to exercise enough and watch your diet, its can be a catalysts for a positive cycle that in its best reverses both of those conditions. I think there are talk these days if TRT should be even a first line treatment for diabetes II with low T guys, and actually women too with much lower doses.
I had one testicle im at 31 years old, my T is 190 level but my doctor wont suggest trt but i have ed, dry eyes, brain problems, joints problems, thinner mustaches what can i do
I am working through Hone Health. It is done all online they will send you a blood test kit and then have a meeting online with them to discuss the results and the possibility of treatment. It is more expensive than going through a traditional doctor and insurance.
Drs are clueless. Find a vitality clinic near you and they will get it taken care off. My test was anywhere between 112-186 and my dr wouldn’t listen to anything I said about it. Been on it now for a few months and man I feel better than I e ever felt.
