For me, I realized I had it when I started working. I was such a mess and I used to hide to make work calls on my cellphone instead of the work phone because I didn’t want everyone hearing me screw up.
The thing that helped me was when I realized I had confidence issues and I started to work on myself and my growth. Also work forced me to interact with people more and more and now I’m better. I still get anxious but it’s better.
I think it’s because we are highly observant people and when you’re observing you can judge yourself harshly. It helped me when I realized I was no less than anyone else. And everyone else is struggling too maybe I don’t see it but it doesn’t mean they’re all aching to be accepted. So now that I see them all like me I judge myself less and just be myself. That voice of judgment is not how everyone else views me, it’s how I view myself. And so ignoring that voice helped me because now I know that voice is full of sh.t

Coming from a medical professional, the only way to monitor your T levels is through blood work. TRT isn't what your doing if your "doing it yourself". Doctor monitored TRT will be better in the long run along with a high protein low card diet if your chasing a look, which is absolutely fine too.

Med student on steps to prevent hair loss:
-microneedling, biotin, scalp 'stretching' routine or device
-topical inhibition of DHT (a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor)
    -minoxidil
-systemic inhibition of dht by oral 5alpha-reductase inhibitor like finasteride. Dosing less frequently (2/wk) allows for buildup in skin/scalp while decreasing effects on the rest of the body.
-last line of defense is a hair transplant
I'd say 100% of people can slow down hair loss, most of those can prevent it for a looong time, and many can reverse it. Needling and minoxidil are needed for regrowth, talk to an actual doc, etc. Godspeed and good luck.

When doctors says its normal for your age everyone should say it can be normal according to reference range but its not optimal. There is no any reason why 80 years old couldnt have T-levels of 20 years old. With levels of 20-years old he will most likely live more healthy and fulfilling live and also longer life.
When I once went to doc and said I have low T he said yea many men have low T.
Thats the same thing as someone goes to doc and says I have depression and sucidal thought, yea well many have depression and suicidal thought. Next patient.
Take your life to your own hands and get that T what ever it takes if you have low T, living with low T is unfulfilling suffering and shortens your life. But dont take street drugs, they are not what they say they are. There are plenty of countries where you can get T if your country dont understand this stuff.

I would be very cautious about using prescription medicine (including T) for an issue like social anxiety. For me, a good mix of counseling/psychotherapy and psychiatry works well for me, and I’d suggest the same for you, but you have to find the right doctors *for you and your needs.* Preferably, doctors that are neutral, will listen and won’t just give you their personal opinion in session, and remember the basic principles of biochemistry! *Especially* doctors that remember their biochem from med school! 😂
No joke bro - I saw a psychiatrist for over 10 years whose response to every problem I had was rudely and smugly giving me her *personal opinion* on everything and suggesting *more and more medication* as the solution to my problems. You don’t need someone like that serving as your doctor - because it will only make matters worse.

i’d like to thank you for sharing your experience.. cause i think everyone experience is very important content to share.
Still.. if i can give you my opinion (and i please you to get it in a constructive way) when i listen to you i hear a big baby boy with anxiety, confidence and self esteem problems, who jumps on and hormone therapy by himself, completely unconscious of the risk it could represent if done incorrectly, looking just for a fast and easy solution for his problems, pushing up the dose shearching just for some rush, some dopamine spike… worried only about his hair cause “bold head suck”.
Wrong or unbalanced testosterone levels is dangerous and not only for you hair… that is really the smallest of the problem. But maybe yes… for someone with zero confidence in himself, being bold can be a nightmare… i understand.
If i can give you my suggestion: leave testosterone replacemente therapy for those who really need that, find someone that can help you with your anxiety and confidence, and maybe use a little bit of cocaine when you want that rush and that fearless state of mind for being able to face a social interaction; that would fullfill waay more the goal you’re looking for. 😉

Ok, so finally I have the answer. I am gonna get a high dosage of TRT. If it's gonna do what he says, after all the years of struggling, but wait, the side effect really sucks. My brother is already going bald but I keep most of my hair, except a bit in the front - the edges or whatever you call it. I have always been afraid of ever going bald, even making jokes like that would be the last straw for me, being this guy with little to no social skills and going bald, that would kill it completely. I would never be able to talk to a woman anymore. Would feel like an old loser having nothing left. It is not that bad if you are already married and settled, but I like to feel young, and that would just mean jumping straight into old age clearly leaving no doubt that I am not this young boy, but an old man, no way to justify being young. A lot of middle-aged confident people just smile and say I feel young despite being bald, but with my shattered confidence, I just wouldn't take it. My brother is married, soon to be a father. Good for him. He doesn't have to worry anymore. But not me.

Hi @Kooking with Kasper, the social anxiety can indeed be caused by low testosterone. Testosterone plays a significant role in the regulation of dopamine and other neurotransmitters vital for anxiety relief.
I have heard cases of people with testosterone levels in the 400s having social anxiety symptoms.
Before you proceed with such a big step such as TRT, please first and foremost optimise the following key things which could get your total testosterone 600+ or more.
Vitamin D - Ensure you have an optimal amount daily. You may need to take a significant dose at first. Please ask your doctor for guidance.
Zinc - This is very important for testosterone regulation. Aim to take 15mg to 25mg Zinc Picolinate as this is the most absorbable form. You may need to take much more to remove Zinc deficiency. Again ask for medical guidance if unsure.
Magnesium - Ensure you have an optimal intake of this vital mineral.
Cholesterol - Have adequate intake of healthy fats. Sex hormones are made from cholesterol so you must not have a deficiency in cholesterol for optimal hormone production.
Sleep - Ensure you get atleast 6+ hours of quality sleep daily. Sleep is the period where the body produces testosterone and other hormones to get you ready for the day ahead.
      A few other questions:
Are you getting morning erections daily ?
Strong morning wood on a daily basis is an excellent sign that you have optimal hormonal balance. However, there are reports of people with low testosterone getting morning wood daily. These are the exceptions rather than the norm.
Have you got your E2 (Estradiol) measured ?
High estrongen/E2 can cause your testosterone production to be suppressed. Loosing excess bodyfat is the best method to optimise your estrogen levels.
I completely understand your struggles and I really do pray that you find the cause of your social anxiety and cure it permanently.

Not trying to hate at all bro, but take it from someone who has done test in the the past, it’s FAR FAR FAR better to go the natural route. You won’t notice bad effects from test initially but it can cause severe problems in the long run. Physically you can get major hair loss, gyno(man boobs that need surgery to fix), permanent testicular atrophy(no they don’t always bounce back naturally), ED issues down the road, etc. On top of that, people don’t realize the psychological effects that test can bring on down the road. This is actually the worst part. It can lead to horrible depression, super high anxiety, it can actually cause bipolar disorder in certain people, and can even cause psychotic episodes. I say this for your own good man, go the natural route. And don’t listen to other test users who say it’s completely safe. They’re lying to themselves because they don’t want to get off. These are the idiots that talked me into doing it in the first place. Go natural bro

I don't know Ben, And this is for others as well, Have you ever tried looking deep into your heart? I heard One can know Jesus and that this is where he possibly resides. I mean, he says something like seek me and find me an apparently peoples loves change and there is healing for the soul. This is the answer I believe for all people in overcoming issues in life. By finding Jesus and seeking his guidance and counsel. All the best Ben and everyone.

As a fellow Christian I do agree with you but it’s hard to tell someone that without sounding condescending. When people used to tell me that when I wasn’t a belibeiver it just kind of pissed me off. I felt like they weren’t actually listening to the issue I was having and showing human compassion. Slapping a Jesus bandaid on a problem doesn’t fix the underlying root of mental health issues. Even now that I believe in Jesus, I still need to know what is going on with my mind, in order to know what to pray for
