The first generation LX 450 started production in 1995 and was powered by a 4.5 liter inline 6. The LX in particular was obviously important to him (perhaps modified with bullet proof glass). Nice review. I’m a fan of your content. I’ve been waiting for months for you to review an LX570. I’ve owned a 2013 for a year and a half. Purchased with 92,000 miles and currently 116,000. It was the only vehicle I felt confident with buying close to 100k miles and NO warranty. Couldn’t say that for the Mercedes GL550 I cross shopped. The hydraulic AHC suspension is complex, yet robust and reliable (unlike air suspension setups). Replace the AHC fluid every 60k miles and there shouldn’t be major issues. Any thing else that goes wrong, parts can be sourced heavily discounted online and installed by a good Indy for relatively cheap. I bought the LX for the very reason I WOULD NOT have to spend $3,000 on an aftermarket warranty. You’d most likely be wasting your money and would fare better self insuring. You mentioned there was no real change in the suspension when switching from Sport to Comfort (perhaps something was up with the suspension and it was not performing as it should ?) My experience is quite the opposite. There is a substantial difference between the dampening and handling of each setting. Comfort is way more floaty and absorbs the bumps a ton better. Sport stiffens the suspension considerably and corners much flatter. The difference in the suspension settings are felt even more in the 570’s than the LX 470’s. Also, the Reference Mark Levinson system in the LX is one of the best I’ve heard in a vehicle WHEN fed a proper source AND playing high quality content. This truck is a Beast and you feel like the king of the road driving it. It doesn’t break down, can take you anywhere and get you back, and looks classy pulling up to valet in a 5 star hotel. To quote another reviewer, it truly is "The Velvet Hammer."
Congrats my friend beautiful ride not sure if you saw all the way through I didn't notice much of a difference in dampening but def a noticeable change in handling enjoy the ride!

I'm supercharging my LX570 so it can stack up against the range rovers and amg g wagons. Performance will be close enough for how reliable it is. With the suspension in sport mode the LX corners alot better than it should due to the adaptive AHC
Owned a LX470 and a 570, and in my opinion the 470 was better quality built, less plastics in the interior, and also better seating position. The pillars aren't as fat, and the LX570 was just overweight. The 5.7L engine was also less smooth because it was timing chain. Sure it has more power, but the Lx470 was just a better driving experience offroad and onroad. The 470 also just plain looked better and didn't have as fat overhang or was as pudgey.

I don’t know about anyone else but Lexus should go back to their old designs - they were some of the best looking cars and still are - the new grille on the 2021 LX Is absolutely disgusting.
But fuel economy tho... It says 14 mpg combined which is roughly 17L/100KM... Idk you guys but I can't afford that XD... GX is at 17 mpg, or roughly 14L/100KM. Though not impressive either but much more bearable than LX... But I love the LX tho 😥

I just wish they depreciated like other cars fr 💯😂. And i had no idea Biggie rode in Lexus' thats pretty cool to hear, 'if you didn't knoow now you knooow'
The LX have always been based off Land Cruisers right? My boss has an LX 470 he has driven forever but he had to recently replace the air suspension which was very expensive.
Both the LX470 and the LX570 got HYDRAULIC SUSPENSIONS. Must change the HYDRAULIC fluids according to manufacturer's maintenance schedule. The failure rate is very low. That's why these vehicles (Toyotas sister LC) are the vehicles of choice in the middle east where reliability is KING when you are middle of nowhere. My prior 2000 LX470 (bought brand new back in 2000) had 285+K trouble free miles before I traded it in for another brand new LX570.
You mentioned a warranty for this, can you name some that you suggest? Maybe even do a small video on getting a warranty for vehicles that are meticulous like the LX570.
The interior is straight of mid-late LS460 with same buttons and similar styling which isn’t a bad thing in my book. It’s aged incredibly well. Did they do the melting dashboard replacement on this one?
First of all, congrats on the new intro! Secondly, how would you compare the quality of ride, turn ratio, interior material quality, engine/transmission to G Wagon's specs?
Haha thanks although intro was just a free Premiere Pro template 😆 Gwagon is sort of in a world of its own it's got its own unique feel but LX570 and just about most SUVs are going to be a far smoother drive even if they are a tad slower but Gwagon interior at least the 2015 I reviewed had a very solid interior no where near the amount of miles as this but very good for sure probably on par with the Lexus
I owned a 2006 GX470 with the KDSS suspension package for 5 years, and now I've owned a 2013 LX570 for 5 days. The LX's interior definitely feels more special and well-built, and it has more power and I'll echo that the driving experience is higher quality, with more solidity, more isolation with a very quiet cabin...it's the top dog and it feels like it. I enjoyed my GX a lot, but in the used market with vehicles a decade old, the price difference between, for example a 2013 GX Premium (that package is the only way to get all the off-road goodies and Mark Levinson, you need Luxury pack for 2014+) and a 2013 LX is about $6k based on examples I saw, and that was a no-brainer for me.
this vehicle need only one thing that it will make it really look more hot and solid . Tires and wheel specs . upgrade to WIDER tires more important it will widen the overall look .and that go for all Toyota and Lexus products in general. nice review as always thank you

I don’t know about anyone else but Lexus should go back to their old designs - they were some of the best looking cars and still are - the new grille on the 2021 LX Is absolutely disgusting.
Haha nah I like me a big grill 🤪
@@MeynMotorGroup 😂🤣

Great review!!
Thank you my friend!
Best SUV ever. Had a 2009 and now have a 2017
Very nice my friend keep us posted on your 2017
Which one did you prefer driving that or the GX? Which one was quieter and smoother?
LX feels nicer and smoother!
But fuel economy tho... It says 14 mpg combined which is roughly 17L/100KM... Idk you guys but I can't afford that XD... GX is at 17 mpg, or roughly 14L/100KM. Though not impressive either but much more bearable than LX... But I love the LX tho 😥
Great video man like always i really enjoyed it, i reaallly like the look of this car it looks substantial and just a baller looking suv i dont know how much these are but im sure they kept their value. I just wish they depreciated like other cars fr 💯😂. And i had no idea Biggie rode in Lexus' thats pretty cool to hear, 'if you didn't knoow now you knooow'
Haha thank you my friend and yea these for like 75k new now it is 21k so def holding value even with all those miles for sure
How much is the LX 570? Can I buy it?
This is perfection. An Indian guy doing a review of a car in Cary. Can’t write this shit
“Lexus, LX Four and a Half, Bullet proof Glass tints if I want some A$$”.....NOTORIOUS BIG!
Haha yes sir!
Excellent review!
Thank you my friend!
Solid Review 👌 💪
Thank you!
The LX have always been based off Land Cruisers right? My boss has an LX 470 he has driven forever but he had to recently replace the air suspension which was very expensive.
Yea suspension components can def cost a lot
Both the LX470 and the LX570 got HYDRAULIC SUSPENSIONS. Must change the HYDRAULIC fluids according to manufacturer's maintenance schedule. The failure rate is very low. That's why these vehicles (Toyotas sister LC) are the vehicles of choice in the middle east where reliability is KING when you are middle of nowhere.
My prior 2000 LX470 (bought brand new back in 2000) had 285+K trouble free miles before I traded it in for another brand new LX570.
Great review. I'm looking at an '08 right now.
best sound system in the game
You mentioned a warranty for this, can you name some that you suggest? Maybe even do a small video on getting a warranty for vehicles that are meticulous like the LX570.
Hows is the ride quality of LX570 compared to LS460 ?
Pretty identical actually feels like driving an LS 460 but you sit up higher that's the only main difference
Finally. Let's watch!!
Haha thank you my friend!
This is the big boy!
For sure!
Very nice enjoyed the video as usual bro 👍🏾👍🏾 had to watch before I got home lol
Haha thank you my friend
@@MeynMotorGroup Never a problem bro 🤝👍🏾👍🏾
I would love to know if it has a cigarette lighter and in dash ashtray and ashtray for the second and third row seats
Great video! Why is the car height crooked?
I was sold after you said “big pimp” 😂😂
Great video, nice big truck!
Thanks!
@@MeynMotorGroup no worries, as a Lexus fan/owner I always enjoy your Lexus content!
The interior is straight of mid-late LS460 with same buttons and similar styling which isn’t a bad thing in my book. It’s aged incredibly well. Did they do the melting dashboard replacement on this one?
I'm not sure!
The Best Car Ever Made.
@@MeynMotorGroup Good points, thanks for the reply!
It's just too rare and too expensive? Premium fuel, is is recommended or required?
Recommended . This engine is same as tundra . Even the parts number in it .
Just curious, how do you like this vehicle compared to the gx470?
This is noticeably a higher quality vehicle and driving experience
Thanks for the video, can you review a GS430 2005 please?
I did a GS 300 02 would like to do the V8 one day!
I just stopped by my local dealer and spotted a LX 570 (2017), 57 K miles, $71K. Is it a good price?
No
Most cars I see you in, its tan interior, do you.not like black interior?
Dream suv!
Ikr!
What’s a good warranty company for these?
this vehicle need only one thing that it will make it really look more hot and solid . Tires and wheel specs . upgrade to WIDER tires more important it will widen the overall look .and that go for all Toyota and Lexus products in general. nice review as always thank you
Thank you my friend!
Totally disagree with this, larger rims/tires would make it look so tasteless, classy choice with proper sidewalls.
@@oscarericsson8300 oh I didn't mean in diameter. Actually I don't care much for large wheels in diameter I'm more focused on Only width to flair out the overall wheels /tires a bit.
Any review on the gl/gls Mercedes
Was this car detailed before you reviewed it? Because if it was they did a poor job.
No just got it in
@@MeynMotorGroup ahh I was about to say, that wouldn’t stand at my dealership😅
This is actually a consignment car that's why it's got normal plates on it so customer just dropped it off but I had to review it before It got sold 😆

there was no LX460. 470 my friend. 470!

To me the GX is a downsized LX, it’s on the same platform. Same luxurious interior as the LS and engine was a little bigger.
GX is cool! Was based on a Prado or whatever it was called
Thought gx was on 4Runner .. biggie hada lx450 bullet prof glass tint if he wanted some ass
