looks like i forgot to put music in one of the clips. Sorry! im currently road tripping to sema and re-uploading would take forever, so id rather get this out now. Cheers!
I actually enjoyed it. I even created an excuse. I figured that it was a clever editorial way of showing us how silent your trip to sema was going to be without a working stereo 😅
Moron he was called last minute to go to Sema.no way to plan anything he wasn't even going till they called a month before Sema lol.he doesn't know if he's going to Sema next year you have to be invited so you can't plan anything if you don't know if your going.
Nope, check the Tomahawk 1967 Mustang. This are rims. Yes get got problems with the offset. But I would never even start making a build like this if I couldn't use proper rims.
You should put light gold racing stipes on this car . That would really bring out the colors on that wrap and smoke tint the windows. You guys are doing a fantastic job. 😊👍💪👌🙏🏼
Would love to see you guys break the mold, from fast, fun n dirty... To flipping the tables and doing a long term, high end project. B is for Epic. Would be great to jump out of your comfort zone and take a risk. ❤
I'd like to see him start the build at least a month earlier than he does. I get the theme of rush build. Good for youtube but the car would benefit from more time.
@@hankrearden5460 it's a basic pitch for a program - it needs the drama. Shit going wrong (and then getting solved at the last second) drives viewers. I totally get it - Chris is super smart and for sure understands... Would still like to see him roll the dice and do something different & risky. 👍
@hankrearden5460 yeah I was at sema. Car was rough to say the least in person. Good concept bad execution. Total respect for the amount of work they got done though.
You really hit the nail on the head with your first goal being your health. Money is useless if you have poor health. As the saying goes "No amount of money can buy good health.". Good to see the car just about finished as well.
SEMA is such a crazy show. You have “show vehicles” that get wheels, tires, a suspension, and color matched trim. Then you get these one off custom builds that get finished in a month! Love the way it turned out!
@@John-wf2yh I’ve been 7 out of the last 10 years, and it’s crazy how many vehicles there are unfinished or slapped together last minute just to get there. Or projects that don’t actually run and drive that are pushed into their spot.
Congrants on remaining in remission! Dude please give yourself more time on your next sema build. Although its amazing what you guys did in such a short amount of time, imagine how much better it would be with like 2 more months added to it.
2 Things: 1 - So glad to hear you are cancer-free for another year! Here's hoping there's lots more where that came from! And 2 - The Konig Heliogram wheels you chose in the end are BY FAR the best match for this build. I knew the second I saw them that they were right. The other 2 wheel designs are much too import tuner for a classic pony car like the Mustang. I was so happy when you switched to them. 3rd time's a charm, I suppose. Hats off to Konig for giving you the opportunity!
Shout out to Kyle for coming back to help, not only good to see you around but fairly certain you made things more bearable with all your work !!!! GREAT JOB ALL... As usual....👍👍
You guys always get it done, but I can’t help but agree with some of the other people on here wondering how nice of a car you could really make if you had more time. Still badass how nice of a car you guys can make in such a short span though. Drive safe!
You guys are so radical. You do something in 30 days that would would take 2 years or more. I really appreciate what you boys do. I'm 70 years old. I love your channel. Thank you.
Such a shame this project is a SEMA rush. So much potential to be a great build. Why do these companies keep bringing these cars in when they are rush jobs at best? Those who wanna "roast" me just have a look @5:14 and tell me if you think a half bondo filled body line is SEMA spec.
Yes! These wheels are a big improvement, great job Chris! And how amazing how much you guys got done in such a short amount of time, absolutely astonishing!
How stupid could you tesla fanboys be I've watched this channel a long time he used the do a lot of the work now he don't also that elongated muskrat never touched a wrench in his life
An Epoxy primer would have been a great foundation and would have helped against the reactions you exeperienced but likely would have needed paint to hide the seams and jams. The dust... well you knew that was going to happen. Squirting water down prior to shooting may have helped. But either way you made it happen and that is what it is all about.
He needs a paint booth, at least he tried to make one at the old shop. Should do the same here. Also it drives me nuts when he works with the interior still in the car the whole time with no protection.
Another example of why you need to slow down and do things right. I feel like everything in the last year has been rushed, and the quality is just slapped together. You guys can do better work when not slapping thing together to hit a deadline.
Came out amazing! I think if you had wrapped the side scoops in a chrome wrap to match the mirrors, and gas cap, with chrome wheels, it would have looked killer as well. Unbelievable job though boys! That front end looks CRAZY!
Why not just plastic cover the supercars 🤷🏿♂️ Oh man, sorry to hear about your past diagnosis. Glad you're keeping well brother! Stay strong B 🙏🏿 The colour and second wheels are awesome 😍
can we all agree that the Channel should be called B is for Bondo... dont get me wrong they build wild stuff that takes a ton of work... but I bet they use more bondo than the company that makes it. sorry it just kinda bugs me, i wish they could do half as much bondo and do a little more metal work, yes i know that would add to the work load but I feel it would add value in the content that would be created. just my thoughts and feelings
First off and most important I think that your health is good, very happy to hear that, secondly the wheels are so much better, great build series, have fun at SEMA.
For the tail lights I would recommend getting an old LCD TV and taking out the backlight diffuser to get a perfectly even light output without bright spots.
1st ever channel I subscribed to back when you did the 2J BRZ and still never miss an episode. Love how much you guys push yourselves and what you create. Safe travels to sema I hope it goes well. The redemption build looks amazing

Hello
CHEERS!
What booth are you in
We’ll let you off the hook this time…
I actually enjoyed it.
I even created an excuse.
I figured that it was a clever editorial way of showing us how silent your trip to sema was going to be without a working stereo 😅
Shelby ghost stripes along the top of the car and down the sides would complete this look perfectly given the choice of paint colour.
Match those stripes to the color of the wheels, would look great!
Or a matte black would look good
*spoiler alert*
It has stripes on it
No , keep it solid
@@monke4632 if it's a Shelby tribute it has too have stripes. That's the only way Shelby would want it
You should definitely allow yourself at least a year to do your sema builds so that you can plan and produce more amazing products
Boring...
Moron he was called last minute to go to Sema.no way to plan anything he wasn't even going till they called a month before Sema lol.he doesn't know if he's going to Sema next year you have to be invited so you can't plan anything if you don't know if your going.
Learn how Sema works.
I totally agree with this person. Imagine the product you can produce with more time mine blowing.
Doing things last minute isn't a badge of honor, it's a sign of immature project planning
The day after SEMA, you should start your next build for SEMA 2025 to be ahead of the game.
Now that wouldn't be any fun! 😂
Maybe just finish all the SEMA cars that went to SEMA unfinished the last how many years? lol
@@bradley3549 dead 💀
I think the same every year, but alas no
@@darrenswailsHahah right? They are B is for Build though, not T is for Time management 😆
So good to hear that it's 2 years cancer free man! Good luck at sema and have fun! Love the channel man
No idea how the hell you guys ever manage to do these builds so quick. Car is looking amazing. Drive safe.
So glad to hear that your scans came back with good news. I know the feeling. 28 years cancer free here. So glad your doing good.
I think you definitely made the right call on the wheels. They really fit the build better, and the color is money.
Nope, check the Tomahawk 1967 Mustang. This are rims. Yes get got problems with the offset. But I would never even start making a build like this if I couldn't use proper rims.
I love how as Chris gets more and more tired his vocabulary suffers… but his excitement and commitment does not. So awesome.
Seeing Chelsea jumping in is so sweet. The couple that builds together stays together. 😊
Excellent choice on the wheels. I like the one before, but it looks like the one you picked is the best.
agreed!!
Allows the body and wheels to stand out
agreed!

Hertz rent-a-racer vibes
*spoiler alert*
It has stripes on it
You should do gold/bronze wheels and bronze pinstriping, I think it would go well with the black.
Had the same comment on his IG post earlier. Bronze racing strips would really look good on the build.
Similar to the Hertz GT350H?
satin gold stripes
This would be the way to go. The car is a little plain as it is, and it wasn't the fault of the wheels; it needs stripes.
B is for Beating cancer. Congratulations Chris. As much pleasure as one gets from your build videos, hearing this news is far better.

31:53 Speaking as a model builder, Wax Paper would have made a MUCH better light diffuser than a paper towel.
I'm hoping the LED don't get hot enough to burn the paper towels
@@danielberrett2179 I was thinking the same thing.
Yeap I had good results using baking paper that I had to steal without Mrs noticing her kitchen supplies going missing😅
It's even different paper towels in each...
those flexible ikea cutting boards work well.

Yes, you are correct👍🏻
I don't know about anyone else but I'd be embarrassed taking a car to such a big show that wasn't perfect, specially if it was a fresh build 😬
You mean off custom builds like the mid engine mustang with the bad panel gaps or they lambo with the terrible welds ?
@@gengi6158 I mainly follow truck/diesel builds for SEMA. It’s all the same each year: new truck, wheels and tires, lift kit, and that’s a “build.” 🫣

Oscar is worth his weight in gold. I hope you reward him appropriately.
Nice! The bronze wheels (if they weren't bronze) look the best on the car. Maybe after SEMA you could powder coat them silver or black?
First & foremost congratulations on your cancer update❤. This build was one of the craziest build imo. Safe trip to SEMA. Kyle & Oscar legends.
I like the dual five spoke wheel. But I also like the bronze wheel infinitely better than the first ones you put on there
