SO glad she's finally getting what she deserves and finally having a chance to become leader. I just hope they don't kill her off before she gets to Moonpool or pull a Nightstar/Sunstar where Starclan denies her lives or some of them just because Br*mbledstar is still leader... *Shakes fist at the sky* Those hypocritical moronic dead people!!!

If nightheart (ew) or sunbeam becomes leader or deputy I will personally find where the Erin’s work and rewrite the books

It’s so interesting that since his possession Squirrelflight has become his caretaker. And the whole last arc was spent fighting for the life of a man that she loves but probably does not even like anymore. I think it’s a very realistic portrait of a relationship of parents who should have divorced but never did. Now that Bramblestar is suffering and a shell of his former self, I wonder how she feels about him and if she wishes he had died or she did after all. Really wonderful work.
The thing about loving someone you don’t even like is so real though. My parents are like that and I know a lot of other couples who are. It’s a serious trap that people can fall into and it’s important to circumvent it when the warning signs first start showing up lol.

i LOVEEE the part where squirrelflight is falling! it’s imposterstar who throws her off but while she’s falling, the real bramblestar is falling with her and she tries to hold his paw. AMAZING

It’s awful to think so many children were/are being conditioned into accepting an emotionally abusive relationship in the future. Even if the erins didn’t intend it, they’ve had since oots to somehow show squilf and bramble’s relationship is really toxic, but instead they just keep doubling down, arc after arc, SE after SE..
At this point the only thing that could save the series imo would be new authors and a rewrite of nearly everything, which wouldn’t happen in a million years.

This is amazing! The last scene really hit hard, when she falls her first thought is still to save him, but he leaves her again. Its all so beautifully portrayed.
I love how you show the cycle of abuse during 1:06-1:17 and that you showed them changing in a pattern that consisted of four images, like the four phases of the cycle of abuse (at least according to Wikipedia), tensions building, incident, “reconciliation” and “calm” (not saying that all abusive relationships have to follow the same exact pattern, I’m talking about the cycle of abuse image that can be found in Wikipedia)

I love Bramblestar, I really hope Squirrelflight doesn’t become leader. I hope the two both get killed off actually, and the two can rest peacefully in StarClan.

I hate this couple. Yes, I should admit, I liked them as couple in Power of Three, but not in other books.
In The New Prophecy I didn't understand how they fell in love, like they were always fighting.
Also, Bramblestar is my most favorite character and Squirrelflight is the most hated. I really didn't want my fave to be mates with character I hate
