- ok before i start of CONGRATS ON THE PROMOTION GIRL!!!!!!! im sorry but im not letting anything ruin this moment for her. she finally achieved what she was working towards to ever she was a kit and she deserves to be happy!!!!! squilfstar for thunderclan 2023 is real
i wanted to focus on Squirrelflight(star)'s struggles with trying to separate the real Bramblestar from the impostor Bramblestar during her time in TBC. While reminiscing , she is also reminded of the actions of the actual Bramblestar, and has a crisis about why she is longing for a cat who has made her feel alone so many times
i hope u guys enjoyed this one!! i know its not much animation vise but i still like it :3

OH MY GODDD this is amazing!! The designs are FANTASTIC and the art is so GOOD and its so interesting to see in a for once in a squirrelflight pmv a vision of how bramblestar used to be through Her eyes like at 00:31 like we see the guy she first fell in love with and it only hits harder and makes us understand why she had so much trouble leaving him bc she was always waiting for him to go back to the cat he used to be. Devastating. 10/10

I actually don’t read Bramble as abusive like most people, but I also love this PMV, and the idea that Squilf had to question her entire relationship, which she 100% had to have. Can you imagine how horrified and broken she felt when she realized she was sleeping with her ex who tried to kill her children? And because of a horrible rough patch in her marriage, she couldn’t tell the difference at first between the two? That must have been just outright *scarring.*

I don’t feel like she deserved being a leader or worked towards it. The position was kind of just dropped on her because her boyfriend was leader. To be honest, it hardly feels earned. Cheers to her crashing and buring like Bramblestar did, as she attempts to live up to her father’s reputation. Great art btw.
.. hardly feels earned? she dedicated her whole life to cats she loved, barely doing anything for herself. she finally gets to do something for her own, and suddenly she hasn't earned it?
Bramblestar didn't earn it either, considering he took Greystripe's place and almost killed Firestar...
Ain't it weird that we only think if the position is earned when a woman is getting it? :/

Honey, Brambleclaw was just choose deputy because Starclan wanted him to be, he didn't even have an apprentice yet, something tells me part of that is because Squilf is a she-cat... Oh well.
