    If I may ask, how on earth did you break your nail that badly? That looks so painful!
    This is a very helpful video! I used to do the tea bag method, but have discovered that the dip powder works better for my nails. I bought the repair dip powder kit. Thanks for giving multiple options since body chemistry means 1 method won't work for everyone.

      Your welcome! I’m happy you found a method that works for you❤️ And it was the stupidest thing... I was arguing with my brother on how to wash your hands properly and I was PRETENDING to wash my hands and I caught my pinky nail😭 It just ripped and started bleeding😰 I felt so dumb since I was freaking pretending

    I have used both methods, and they work well. I prefer the teabag method when using regular nail polish. The glue w/acrylic powder for gel and acrylic nails.

    I always use the teabag trick, but with a very small piece of teabag. If I break my nails again (hopefully not anytime soon ) I’ll try using a bigger piece! Thanks for the tips☺️💖🙌🏻

    Girl you GOTTA try silk wraps! it's basically the teabag method but even stronger!
    I had a bad break on both my thumbs. I used the silkwraps AND 2 layers of dip on top. grew it out perfectly.

    This video gives me HOPEEEEE! I broke my long nail exactly like you showed in that first example from April. Did you wait a few days after it broke before fixing it, or was it pretty easy to repair with a fresh injury? I have dip power on my nails, and need to remove the powder. But, I don't want to hurt myself! (Also, I work at a computer and type a lot. Not having my middle finger for typing is difficult.)

    • @nailing_painting
      @nailing_painting  4 роки тому +2

      I repaired it immediately and I was really careful cause it was barely hanging on. I definitely took more time than a normal break cause I had to be extra careful, but it was less painful in the end than just ripping it off

  • @einfacht9289
    @einfacht9289 3 роки тому +2

    wow nice! Broke my nail yesterday and it’s holding on for dear life. I just hope that this method works for me!
    BUT i have one question: the progress pictures you posted at the beginning, was this with only this one tea bag or did you remove it from time to time and applied a new one? Cause i have a feeling that if i apply this tea bag once it won’t hold throughout the whole ‘recovery’
    Would appreciate it if you/or someone else who knows this replies😊

    • @nailing_painting
      @nailing_painting  3 роки тому +1

      I hope it works for you too!🤞🏻 and I think it was the same tea bag, but if you feel like it’s breaking off you could reapply

  • @alexlippiatt1801
    @alexlippiatt1801 4 роки тому

    this is so cool!! could you use this to make your nails stronger if they are very weak/ prone to breakage or would it have a negative effect.

    • @nailing_painting
      @nailing_painting  4 роки тому

      Thank you!❤️ and well dip powder will certainly make your nail stronger it’s just a lot of work to maintain it. The tea bag method could work too if you apply it on the whole nail but at that point maybe I’d go with a couple of coats of gel base coat! You could also look into nail hardener❤️

      This happened to me and I'm still confused how to fix it, if you fixed it, how?

  • @navyjohnes
    @navyjohnes 3 роки тому +1

    Once the nail loosen ... run to the salon and get it fixed. If you don"t....you are susceptible to banging it on something ....and bamm ...a split ..painful....bleeding nail...
    I'm always getting a nail break that really hurts....... what I do is wrap some heavy-duty tape really tight around it although it's painful.... rather it will still be painful ..... leave the tape until the pain subsides.... once is no longer throbbing and sore to the touch... I go to the nail salon and let them do their thing..... it'll take about a day before all the pain subsides..... I use any kind of tape that's waterproof... If I don't have waterproof I use what I have and just replace it after showers washing dishes blah blah blah... It works like surgery...
