Who's watching this with broken nail😉😁😉🙋✨
Me😔
And it's the same nail for me. The right thumbnail, broken on the left side😅
Me I'm so sad I be doing so good with the growth then CRACK
Mee
Me too! Middle finger on my dominant hand!
You saved me 3 months of waiting for 2 nails to catch up, it worked! Thank you!!❤
You are so welcome! Glad to help 🤍
But will it repair ur natural nail?
this works so well! - side note if you dont have nail glue to stick it down, clear nail polish works too:)
Rlly? 😢 I don't wanna mess it up
@@cheryminkyyup! it worked for me:) definitely won't last as long as nail glue but better than nothing 😊
@@miriambradsell7473 thanks! I bought nail glue and fixed it alraedy! Im so happy ☺️
You have gorgeous looking nails. Your nail beds are long and narrow. Just lovely!
Yeah i love that too. Cause my nail beds are short and wide. But my nails are long so you can't really tell. J
@@RodneyJonelle mine are the same!
Yes, for sure they are very beaut.
Beautiful*
Coffee filter will work also. I was a nail tech for years. This is the best option i have found for natural nail repairs. There will be no additional damage caused by this. Great tutorial!!
This is method that worked best for me!
Does it work if I use base coat instead of nail glue?
Thank you here I am cutting my nails been one nail break. I cut them all off thanks.
I tried just nail glue, then a bandaid before getting to this page.
This really works, it saved my broken nail with dip after getting it done 3 days prior. TYSM 💕
My granny taught me this back in die 80s and it's really the only method that anyone can use that don't require all kinds of fussy ingredients and equipment. Thanks for sharing! ❤🇿🇦 🇿🇦 ❤
I ripped my nail down the middle and this worked!! Thank you!!!!
Same here
Me too, it HURTS SO MUCH 😭
For how long does it go soft after you oil your nails
I've had a slight break in my nail for about a week and keeps getting caught on my hair and clothing. Goes right through me! I tried this technique, and feels so much better. The only bug bear is when I buffed my nail, it didn't go smooth. I just layered it with loads of clear nail varnish. Hopefully it will grow itself out.
Buff it smoother. It works.
Thank you for these great tips! My mail turned out perfect!
I laid a piece of tea bag each opposite way. Waited for nail glue to dry inbetween before I laid the 2nd teabag layer. Then buffed the glue down to make it smooth, then put base coat, hardener, top coat.
Feel’s good. 😅 I’ll wear my rubber gloves to do the dishes. 👍🏼
What happens if you don't have nail glue lol
I’m just doing this now! Same nail as this video (right thumb nail but the crack is vertical). Glue, tea bag, glue! Just waiting for it to dry now then will file. Hope it works as nail salons don’t want to do small jobs like this anymore 😞
Thank you for this 7 years later!!!
I'm so excited to know this now. I've always chopped then all of one broke.
Me too

After an EPIC FAIL using nail kits, this repair came through with FLYING COLORS! I can barely tell that I have a broken nail!
Nia, THANK YOU so much!
I finally got my natural nails exactly right and promptly broke 2. Fortunately, I found your video. Excellent! Now I can stop going thru bandaids as coverups!😉
What a great tip! I would never have thought of this. I just broke a nail and found this. I didn’t have glue so used clear nail strengthener then nail varnish on top. It’s worked. Thank you! 🤩
I’ve been using bandaids, scotch tape for two days this is so awesome super strong I’m gonna make a little emergency kit for work thank you!!!!!
I'm on vacation later this week, and my nails looked so good until this afternoon when I got a small tear. I'm going to give this a try when I get home. Thank you for posting! ❤
I just ripped my nail taking acrylics off and this video saved my life. I have to braid hair! Lol 🙌🏾🙌🏾 thank you
WoW. This video was simple, clear & concise. All week I wondered what to do about my split nails. It was getting painful and had to find a solution. Thank-you for your great instructions. My nails have been restored.🤗
i had almost the whole white part of my nail off and i js watched this video and it was so helpful i didn’t have tea bags so i js used wax paper n that also worked too ❤
This took care of my broken nail. Mine was very similar to yours. I’m so glad it worked. Thanks love❤😊
EXACTLY what I needed! Thank you!!!! Broke a natural nail further down than yours and it would hurt terrible to have it rip further. Until it’s grown out didn’t know what to do. Tried just the glue and it helped, but not for long.
Did this work? I split my nail in the middle of my bed and im desperate for anything to help other than wearing a bandage
@@maemae527 what method did you use other than whats shown in vdo
I ripped my nail right at the smile line and it hurt! I applied nail glue, teabag and clear acrylic powder. It's fine now. As a base coat, I use nailtique to for strengthener and then I go and use a gel topcoat and the patch holds up pretty well without my constantly patching it up again.
It really works! I used this technique to mend a split in the center of my nail and after a few applications the split down the center if my nail is basically gone!
Nails are strong and very healthy 💅🏽👍🏽
+Cyrious thank you! 💪🏾💅🏾☺️
Just tried this and it really works. It buffed out perfectly. I’m so excited. I love this hint !!!!
Ive literally just done that whilst following your instructions. Thank you so much!
I wish I could hug you! It worked! My thumb has about 1/2 inch of growth and you saved her! Thanks!
It works! I had a Beau's Line split that was causing pain, and this mended the nail. I used coffee-filter paper instead because that's what I had. Nail glue is crazy glue, slightly diluted which makes it much easier to use in this application, and worth the price.
Thank u I finally got my nails to grow and now my pinky nail wants to break so I'll try that tip tomorrow before I come to work
Thank you! This changes the game COMPLETELY! 🤩💞
Oh thank you!!! I mended a nail with a slice of a plastic bag before, but the tea bag idea is way better, thank you!
the crack in ur nail is like mine 😂
Thank you, hoping this works! Kept getting the tear stuck on things and had a band aid over it all day until I get could to a salon, but this seems easier 😂 how do I not own nail glue is the question?!
Cool idea! Well explained & demonstrated! Cool electric nail file too! 😉😘
Thank you so much, this worked perfectly! I hurt my nail while peeling potatoes and this saved me from wearing bandaids for the next month :)
Simple and so logical. Thanks for the nice tutorial.
I came to a perfect video! I had a broken split nails and it’s exactly the same on the video. I was doing laundry awhile ago and feels weird on my thumb nail found it was split almost half so I did exactly what on the video, thanks and it’s really works 👏
I smashed my nail at work and it split right down the middle. This was a life saver it kept getting caught on stuff and I’m too scary to rip it off lol thank youuuu
Thank you for sharing! I just cracked the side of my nail and I’m so happy I found your video!
Omg I just did it and it works!!! Thank you so much, much love all the way from Singapore 🇸🇬 ❤️🤍
Great video, easy to follow, grateful that it wasn't lengthy with a lot of useless chat, but to the point. I'm trying to grow my nails out after decades of acrylics & gels and recently getting nail burn from LED curing for too long (my own fault). It's a long slow process but this tip is a winner. Thank you and keep up the good work!
I honestly thank you so much for this hack. It just helped me to save my 1/4 in nail that was almost all the way off.... thank u thank u thank u.... now I don't have to look riddiculous with my holiday nail look n the original plan is all systems go for the holiday foils....
Very nice video, I am going to try this first thing in the morning. Thank you.
Thanks, I have used a nail wrap roll in the past-ran out & couldn't find it alone. I also have added filler powder to & covered with a nail wrap. The tea bag seems to work. My nails, naturally is 2+ times your length, but in the same area. My nails are hard & takes alot to break them.
Oh good grief. Thank you. I used to buy patches but I haven't been able to find any. This is perfect. 😊
Why are you so talented?
You have gorgeous hands. This was super helpful. Thank you!
I'm so grateful for this vid, tysm!!! ❤
Such beautiful nails💜 thank you for a great video. Glad I found this. 🙂
YOU ARE A FREAKING LIFE SAVER, THANK YOU!!!
I TRIED IT.... AND I LOVED IT! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS TIP
Oooh lord! Im glad i watched this😂 i eas about to go open heart surgery on my split toe nail. Super easy
As a man, the only product I own here is the tea haha. Thanks for the tutorial. Off to the store to fix my nail
As a woman all I own is the tea too. I was just wondering if I could find something other than a trip to the store for nail glue 😆
@@mysticmeri Nail glue is crazy glue, just look for cyanoacrylate on the ingredient list. I use mitre bond from the hardware store, big bottle for a lot cheaper, same for acetone.
Managed to snap my nail in a very similar way to yours. Im a guy and have no clue about nail polish, glue etc etc… but i followed your video (minus the nail polish 😂) and its done a great job of securing the finger nail. Thanks for the helpful video 👍
I also used the handheld tool to file and smooth the top layer after the application just to make sure it's smooth.
So glad to find this. Praying it works! 🙏🏻
Thanks so much. You saved me cutting all my nail down 😊
Oh my goodness--you have BEAUTIFUL hands and nails! I hope you are a hand model! Thanks for the tutorial. I'm bummed my already short nail has developed a crack only a week after getting a gel nail manicure at a salon.
I broke both nails on my thumbs...same side...and same kind of tear 😒
I'll be trying this today thank you 😁
🙏🏼💕💕💕
Great advise! Definitely trying this out today 😊
Finally something that works...
It alway tairs where its about to bleed and it hurts so much...
It gets caught by my hair and I'm always afraid it will rip further...
My nails are like paper and I'm tired of gel nails done...
So, thank you...💅🏼
Found this video and you are a lifesaver 😩💕
Omg! I did this but I used a piece of napkin 🤣🤣 I had made a piñata for my daughter's birthday using paper towels, glue and water and the piñata never broke lmao the stick broke lol and I was like "what if do the same to my nail 🤭
So I did and even though it sticks a bit it breaks again. I had to put a band piece of band aid on top of the napkin and glue also but I really wanted a good method so I came here on UA-cam and found this video. I'm definitely gonna give it a go. Your nails look so pretty 🥰
Thank you so very much!!! I broke my nail today at the gym and even though I had to trim them (i normally have them short) the dsmage was still ther. I tried this one and is perfect!!!
Wonderful! I’m so happy to hear this 💅🏾💅🏾
I've tried this a few times and it best it's kept it from breaking again for a few days. The thing I haven't been doing is putting the glue on my nail before adding the paper. I have a broken nail right now I will try that. Thank you
Wow, I never knew there was nail glue! I wondered what happened to the liquid bandages they used to sell.
what a beautiful hand im obssessed 😍
Came back just to say THANK YOU! 💕💕💕
You saved my nails life thank you!😭
Thank you, this worked perfectly for me!!
Thank you for this tutorial it's a life saver!
this worked like a charm omg tysm
Thank you so much for this easy to follow video. I hopefully saved my thumb nail!!
You saved my life 😭💗 thank you so much I love you so much ❤️🥺
Omg my thumb nail broke exactly the way yours did. I watched it start small to what it is now. Thanks for this ☹️
Now I know what to do in future 😅 thanks for this video!
I think you sh continue growing out your nails and making videos. Beautiful nail beds and skin tone.
Helpful tip! Great concise instruction! You have a nice voice too!
Now I can save my nails!! Amazing!!!! Thank you!
I watched this yesterday and kinda did it wrong over extending the teabag across the length of my nail. I should have rewatched it before starting, but I repaired small side slits on three different nails. My nails were just too long to cut and start all over, this saved me time and retained my length as well.
I play classical guitar and need my right hand nails so this is very helpful ty
Awesome video, wish my nails looked that good naturally. Thankyou
Thanks so much! You saved my Christmas!!
Wow, thanks. That's better than the silk wrap. thanks for sharing.
This is amazing! 😊
+HappyNappyZama thanks, Zama!! 😊
Thank you. I need this badly. Going to repair my nail NOW.
Thanks for the tip day one :and my nail is thriving 👍🏾
this was brilliant!!! thank you so much!!!
Thanks so much for sharing this. Now I don't have to cut down all my nails🙂❤️.
Can this work with gel top coat instead of glue?
Yes!
Thank goshhh i dont got nail glue XD
I wondered the same... I used some crazy glue.
@@NiaHope can i use normal top coat?
How would you do that? Gel top coat, tea bag, top coat, then under the lamp?
Girl tysm! You saved my nail! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
EXCELLENT tutorial! Thanks so much for posting it!
Your nails are so pretty
I use this method but often I have to keep redoing it because the tea bag will just rip in half right with the crack days later
more layers of clear nail polish? it might work
i would guess more layers of nail glue and clear polish
and a nail hardener
first off, THANK YOU 🙏🏼. my lazy ass did catch anxiety though until i realized “oh just cut a strip off of a tea bag” 😂
Just did this and it worked. Thanks!
Pretty natural nails !
Can’t wait to try tomorrow!!!
My nail broke and you helped me so much
Thanks for the video! It worked! Hoping it last for at least 2 weeks!
