Its criminal that something like this gets discovered and you dont have any human studies even a decade later. I was diagnosed with Diabates about a decade and a half ago and reversed it by the grace of God by a ultra low calorie low carb diet. Its still not common. Dr. Fung has been talking about it for years. Why does the medical establishment/research groups drag their feet so much? Millions have died due to these delays.

It's not that there's 'no science'. It's that there hasnt been enough research into the question of dietary impacts on different cancers.... Probably because the industry favors managing symptoms over curing cance entirely... because it's more profitable that way.

We sign documents in the hospital that says that the medicine that they practice is not an "exact science" . The Doctors on the same team in the hospital are split about treatments. And unfortunately they are great at repeating the some what wrong science. I Yes some physicians who do not take insurance are moving forward with Dr Seyfrieds research, others will terrorize you. I started a carnivore diet 8 months before I was diagnosed with renal cell kidney cancer and a year before I was diagnosed with a Bellini Tumour and given 10 months to live. I had surgery but no chemo or radiation were offered since this cancer kills everyone. That was 4 years ago. Carnivore diet starved this cancer so it grew very slowly and the surgery was successful.

I am sure that i would give anything to go into trial with your protocol if I could get to America and I believe it would work, even if I could get it sent to me here . This comment isn’t meant to pick on Den, but he looks pretty hefty for someone that is following a very strict diet. I have late stage cancer and I follow a very strict diet and I am lean, going on 4 years when I was only given 1 1/2 years. So it surprised me to see that it looks like he actually has a good amount of body fat. Good video, the sad part is as the one speaker mentioned, if you don’t run in the circle of the right people and have means as in money, the average person will never get this chance. You are only talking to a very specific crowd. Until all of this is available to all your only giving hope to those that can afford it and can get connections to those that can give it. This is exactly what Toby Keith said in an interview, he said he felt bad for all those that didn’t have the money like he did. That is what all of you should be brain storming about.

The thing is, he could have been even bigger before he started treatment. Since cancer is a metabolic disease, it wouldn’t be surprising if Den was obese. I get what you’re saying about much of this protocol, but just fasting alone, especially extended fasting, with or without traditional medical treatment can work wonders. Just about anyone can fast and do it for free.

What Dr Ken Berry, MD has coined as the "Proper Human Diet". With Respect to cancer, glucose and insulin are maintained at a minimum which are the cornerstones of cancer prevention. In terms of human anatomy, physiology, and metabolism, it is the diet the the human lineage has adapted to, evolved, and thrived on for the past 3.5 million years.

ALWAYS wonderful to hear Prof Seyfried talk. Not only can fasting and a low carb diet help a great deal with preventing and healing cancer but also with undoing the collateral damage of chemotherapy, which is often life wrecking or even life ending. It can also do much more! Some benefits of occasional extended fasting and lowering carbs in the diet: High blood pressure is lowered to normal levels very quickly while fasting. Fibrosis/scarring is reversed over time, including in the heart and lungs.
Vitamin D plasma levels are increased as fasting improves metabolic health, and vitamin D in turn increases autophagy. When insulin is high, vit D stays locked in the blood cells.
Fasting stimulates phagocytosis, the ingestion plaques, growths and pathogens by the immune system. This will also remove spikes quicker, whether natural or unnatural in origin!
Your body recycles up to 1/3 of all immune bodies in a 72h fast, rejuvenating your entire immune system. This helps prevent the onset of new autoimmune conditions, which develop through a leaky gut and damaged immune system.
Blood sugar and insulin are lowered when fasting, reducing inflammation and allowing the immune bodies to move freely through the body.
Fasts from 36-96 h increase metabolic rate due to norepinephrine release
Fasting restores your circadian rhythm to normal over time.
T cells and T reg cells are vital in fighting cancer, autoimmune disease and infections but as we age the thymus stops making as many of them. Fasting releases stem cells, which then can become new T cells. It also releases growth hormone, which regenerates the thymus itself!
Fasting restores NAD+ and increases nitric oxide release to open blood vessels.
Reflexes and short term memory are increased.
Fasting increases anti-aging Yamanaka factors and increases average telomere length in stem cell pools.
Fasting can help with MS, Depression, BPD, Autism and seizures.
When you move out of MTOR your body shuts down the building blocks of the cell required for viruses to replicate.
The hunger hormone ghrelin also lowers with extended fasting and rises from dieting.
What breaks a fast? Anything with protein or carbohydrates in it will break a fast but most teas and herbs are OK. Supplements and meds often break ketosis directly or contain a filler that will. Many meds are dangerous to take while fasting.
Does fasting lower testosterone? No, it raises it when the fast is broken by increasing lutenizing hormone. Fasting also increases insulin sensitivity, which helps with muscle building.
Fasting activates autophagy (literally self eating). This will cause cells to recycle damaged proteins and foreign matter such as viruses.
Lowering insulin via fasting virtually eliminates chronic inflammation in the body.
Weight loss from daily caloric restriction has 1/4 to 1/3 of the weight lost as lean tissue while many studies show fat loss from 36 h fasts without losing any lean tissue!
The obese will lose loose skin while fasting, but the frail will have increased growth hormone release, which helps to make more lean tissue and reduce frailness.
Fasts of 36-96 will not affect short term female fertility or affect menstrual cycle. They also may increase long term fertility for some women.
Just 24h of fasting can cut your leptin levels in half! This reduces leptin resistance, which impairs immune function.
Stomach acid is reduced over time while fasting and can allow for the healing of treatment resistant ulcers. Some patients may need continued acid reduction medication while fasting.
Your brain also prefers to burn ketones at a rate of around 2.5 to 1 when they are available in equal quantity to glucose. Except for brief periods of very intense exercise, your body mainly burns fats in the form of free fatty acids.
It increases mitochondrial function and repairs mitichondrial DNA, leading to improved ATP production and oxygen efficiency. Increased mitochondrial function also has the added benefit of increasing your metabolism, fighting infection and cancer prevention!
Fasting releases BDNF and NGF in the blood which stimulates new nerve and brain cell growth. This can help a great deal with diseases like MS, peripheral neuropathy and Alzheimers.
When not in ketosis, the brain can only burn carbohydrate, which produces a great deal of damaging ROS the brain has to deal with.
Fasting also increases telomere length, negating some of the effects of aging at a cellular level.
When you fast, this stimulates apoptosis in senescent or genetically damaged cells, destroying them. Senescent cells are responsible for many of the effects of aging and are a root cause of the development of cancer.
A fasting mimicking diet for 3-5 days in a row also provides many of the same benefits as water fasting. FMD usually has 200-800 calories, under 18 g of protein and extremely low carbs.
Exogenous ketones can aid with fasting, making it easier in healthy people and allowing some people with specific issues to fast in spite of them without worrying as much about hypoglycemia. They also help with dementia and many other issues even if you take them while not fasting!
Glycine and trimethylglycine can also be useful supplements while fasting that won't break ketosis and have many benefits.
Children, pregnant or nursing women should not fast for periods longer than 16 hours. People with pancreatic tumors or certain forms of hypoglycemia generally cannot fast at all. Type 1 diabetics can also fast but it is more complicated and should be approached with caution as it could lead to ketoacidosis. If you experience extreme symptoms of some kind, especially dizziness or tremors, then simply break the fast and seek advice.

There have been amazing results in thousands of patients, the problem is trying to find a doctor to work with as there is no profit involved in this treatment.

Then read or hear Dr Jason Fungs Cancer Code. Unf😢 in most countries the drug companies control hospitals, doctors & medical policy. Anything that reduces chemo & is based mainly on diet are not going to allow it to be put in practice. Thats why we need to create a directory of doctors who patients can contact. Hi. I was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer in Oct 22, had several chemo rounds which reduced the tumour load to 50%, surgery in Jul 23 to remove visible tumours followed by two more chemo rounds. I recently had my six month check up which only involved physical examination as my treatment was through Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town as I didn't have Medical Aid. I am practicing intermittent fasting and occasionally longer fasts to help with autophagy. I do, however, live in fear of it returning with every unusual pain or symptom I experience.
I would really appreciate some further support from organisations such as the HRF or any similar ones here in South Africa that you're aware of.

Decades of research & so much logic but one must say negligible acceptance. The starting point is to create a directory of doctors and treatment centres who can be contacted. Forget trying to convince the medical establishment, there are millions of patients and tens of thousands of new patients. If they knew where togo, whom to contact i feel confident that in 5 years there will be small treatment centres coming up all over the world. Sitting in india with this population and poverty am petrified at the miserable future & financial ruin of millions irrespective of insurance or government help.

My oncologist canceled me (refused to continue to be my oncologist) because I asked him if I could implement Thomas Seyfried’s protocol when he called to give me bad news from the most recent scan. I had already been through 9 years of treatments since he gave me the first bad news in 2015. I immediately implemented a 21 day water only fast, started apricot kernels, Ivermectin, and Fenbendazole in desperation to try to do what I could on my own. It’s beyond my comprehension that someone who is supposed to care would be so heartless but that’s what the standard care drives regular oncologists to.

Hi, I’m glad to come across this video. Diagnosis with stage 4 metastatic breast C. Currently doing ENHERTU therapy as well as natural supplements, scans had been clear for over a year. Told by my doctor that I would have to do this therapy for the rest of my life, which I don’t believe. I stopped therapy in October this year but still taking natural supplements, went in for a scan in December only to find out a 5.0cm mass has grown on my pancreas and a 2.0 mass on my abdomen. I’m back on ENHERTU. I’m searching for help because I know there’s a nontoxic way for me to heal but unfortunately, the world we live in it seems as if having financial wealth is the only way to get help. Insurance in my state Michigan only covers standard care. I’m researching as much as I can so I can heal myself. If anyone has any tips or advice please share.

I’m listening to this interview and shaking my head “yes” to what is being said. My husband is going through some medical conditions right now. Heart attack December 20th, heart cath on December 29th, kissing stents at the top of the heart (widow maker) and during this time he was told he had a hematoma in his left thigh. We later discovered the hematoma is a mass and a deep core biopsy on March 26. It has grown according to measuring his thigh 5 inches since Sept. 2nd. I know diet is one of the things that has to do with cancer growth. I’m trying to listen to all I can in case this tumor or scarcoma (that his oncology doctor calls it)to get my ducks should it be malignant. I would appreciate any help you can give for sure, but I need him to realize it very important for him to listen about his intake of sugar and ect. He is 78 and before this happened he played golf 4 to 5 days a week. Thank you for this information.

In terms of prevention and daily maintenance, a carnivore diet and a one meal a day (OMAD) eating schedule is optimal. Highly nutritious, satiating, sustainable, an holistically healthy over the long term. It is what Dr Ken Berry, MD has coined as the "Proper Human Diet". With respect to cancer, glucose and insulin are maintained at a minimum which are the corner stones of cancer prevention.

31:04 I had a biopsy that the doctor said came back as basal cell carcinoma. They never showed me what they saw, they didn’t prepare me for what they were going to do during surgery. They have not given me clear instructions or detailed information about how to take care of the wound. They stitched the 6 inch cut and told me I could return to work day after tomorrow. The instructions they gave me said they recommend 14 days to recover for extremities. To keep my arm elevated as much as possible, if I realize it’s not elevated get it elevated and don’t lift anything heavy. They should have put me out of work for the 14 days.

What does Dr. Seyfried think about Dr. David Brownstein's conclusions about the development of cancer caused by widespread iodine deficiency combined with the negative affects of ingested fluoride and bromides.

    • @PiujuqInuitArt
      @PiujuqInuitArt 9 місяців тому +10

There are many issues that interfere with mitochondrial function, all may contribute to the development of cancer, it is possible iodine deficiency and the toxins fluoride and bromides do, however the point is all cancers feed off sugar, possibly glutamine... If you are otherwise healthy a 40 day water fast will likely kill all the cancer cells....Hard to do... do get your glucose ketone ratio in mmol per litre whole blood down to at least 2.0... and keep it there until you can get hold of DON, that Dr. Seyfried talks about... to block the glutamine...

I supplement with iodine (I follow Dr. Brownstein too), but that is just a small part of what I feel is the larger picture, which I recently came upon with all of the interviews with Dr. Seyfried. I have been a proponent of Keto/carnivore lifestyle and IF since 2018, but very loosely at times. Time to buckle up and dive in with gusto - since a possible blood cancer has finally got the attention of my primary physician after years of poor blood work and wasted time trying to correct and identify. Unfortunately (or fortunately) my faith in traditional medicine is poor, but with all this info I stumbled across lately, that is right up my lane….I’m hopeful for a healthier future and can beat any cancer I may have🙏🤞

It appears so, from Dr. Seyfried’s interviews on the metabolic therapy…..keto or carnivore diet, along with what sounded like other protocols dependent on cancer type. I’ll be looking for alternatives to bone marrow biopsy for blood cancer, so hoping someone out there in U.S. can perform liquid biopsy for definitive diagnosis. In the meantime, I’m going to start strict carnivore (already do ketovore and daily IF,) be more consistent with parasite cleanse and work my way up to extended fasting while looking for a traditional/alternative Dr that will, or already does Dr. Seyfried’s protocol. I believe we have a couple of them in the Tampa area local to me🙏🤞Unfortunately, alternative treatment therapies are years away from being covered by any insurance, so private pay is typically the only option for now. Thank goodness there are more options, because using “only” traditional is not an option for me….you have to believe in your treatment for it to succeed…IMO.

Brilliant and totally logical. One way to monetise the individual patient's diet plus tests/test results could be if all process of treatment could be controlled and provided by a distribution company that could deliver food and test/test results daily to patients? Similar to a company in Saudi Arabia that delivered specific diet food daily to clients with regular visits of clients to assess & monitor patient progression.
