Have to disagree on the packaging, Invicta actually comes with a fairly nice box for the price and the Loreo comes with a generic Chinese box
Yeah but are you gonna wear the box?
Oh hell yea! Yellow has to be my least favorite colour but, Invictas boxes are very strong and nicely made.. Only 2 i bought came with a chamis. I'd swear it's suede. As is the pillow and box lining. I use one to clean my expensive Nikon lemses
The box my Loreo came in isn't close to what he shows. Just cardboard
Garry M 😭
But no $1 plastic pin remover! :-) I think most watch enthusiasts who will buy even an inexpensive watch like one of these (I say enthusiasts because they aren't quartz watches) will probably have a few tools to size the bracelet already.
I have the Invicta (and the Loreo too), but I must admit that this shiny yellow box disturbs me.
I have been collecting high end Swiss and German watches in addition to Grand Seiko for decades and I am shocked by the quality that Invicta offers at the ridiculously low price !
Especially when it houses a Seiko movement.
This shows how much the big brands are looting us....Rolex sub should $3000 its cost of making is about $1250 even considering its history....
Great review I completely agree Invicta hands down
I have the Invicta, and am very happy with it.
FYI, Appears the Invicta cyclops magnifies the date better. Well done review !
The sapphire crystal is a nice bonus on the Loreo, but at this price point, it's really all about the movement. That Seiko NH35 in the Invicta wins because is reliable, accurate, hacks & hand winds, and used in many new micro brands today and selling for as much as $400 (or more). That said, with 200m WR, either of these two would be worth another $30 bucks to most with the NH35 AND Sapphire!
Great Video Brotha! I have that Same exact pro diver, it’s been an excellent watch, and I definitely agree with your comparison points.
Amongst all my favourite Seikos and Hamiltons, my Mickey Mouse Invicta diver gets lots of wrist time... and generates the best response from my students 😀.
Great comparison my man! The clear winner is that Explorer on your wrist!
Great review. I have been a fan of Invicta since 2003 when I received an Invicta as a gift. I just bought the Pro Diver and really like it.
Invictor on order but I’m really coveting your RE such a super watch thanks for review.
Brand recognition isn't always a good thing. When I think of Invicta, I (unfortunately) visualize their most popular models which are gigantic and....unique.
The Pro Diver is Invicta's most popular model not their massive ugly time pieces. The Pro Divers are very decent as good or possibly better than the Seiko 5 Sports.
Thats why invictas are so awesome, they stand out from other watch companies. I love invicta's large colorful unique watches.
I own 5 invictas from the pro diver to the so called huge ugly watches which I absolutely love but have to be in the right mood to wear them, lol but the pro diver is an awsome little watch!
I'm a proud owner of an Invicta pro diver and love it
I recently picked up the green Loreo and it looks really nice on a jubilee-style bracelet. Thanks for the comparison Oleg!
was it waterproof?
Thank you for this review. I wasn't even aware of the Loreo brand until now. I will look for them to see what else they sell. Respectfully, my favorite watch brand is Invicta (I also love Casio G-Shocks). Whenever I hear about someone wanting a fake Rolex (where it is Branded "Rolex", but a fake), I always inform them that they should buy a real Invicta Pro Diver instead. Now don't get me wrong, as an Invicta fan even I will tell you that it's NO Rolex (compared to a real one), but for the same look I would go with the Pro Diver for anyone where a Rolex is out of their range.
Pagani Design PD 1639 is the best of them all atm!
I have a pro diver but since it was the 11-11 alli express sale I ordered a green loredo simply curious to see if it’s a good watch or if they wasted a piece of sapphire on a crappy watch? I’m not calling it crappy because I haven’t gotten it yet but I’m interested to see,,,,,,,,,I hope I shouldn’t have purchased another pro diver.lol
I enjoy wearing my Invicta watch every day. 👍
My Komandirskie just arrived. Gotta say I love it. Have an Invicta and love that too
Good job
So pleased that I agree as I just purchased the Invicta.
We’ll see how it works out.
Excellent comparison, thank you very much! I think that's how any comparison should be made, although in the end people will listen to their hearts as well.
Invicta Rocks! Love the Invicta, Love the Dog and thanks for sharing this great video.
Invicta has a lot of brick and mortar stores here in Florida. Nice video. Thanks 😎👍
Excellent Review. I do agree with you. Lorea seems to be a nice budget automatic
I have a Loreo sub and I love it. I also have two Invictas, not subs, and I love them also.
The Loreo is a good watch.
I like the invicta. It's a fun watch that you can wear everywhere and not stress about damaging it. It feels good on my wrist as well. Some of their stuff is kind of spoofy, but people who know watches know the prodiver is decent.
I'd like to chime in, as far as the coolness factor is concerned. I recently purchased a pro-diver 9404, and it's by far my only time-piece that my clients and colleagues have taken notice of.
In terms of quality, maybe I lucked out? The bezel action on mine is the best I've had on any given dive watch I've had. No back-play, zero play!
Excellent review.
I was deciding between these two and chose the Loreo because of the sapphire crystal and (advertised) ceramic bezel. I immediately could tell the bezel wasn't ceramic - OK with it at $60. But last night the crystal got scratched by a piece of aluminum, so I now doubt if it's actually sapphire. No AR coating on this so I know it's not just a scratch in the coating.
Also I wear it on a nato strap, and in the last 2 months it has popped a spring bar twice. I never thought a nato strap would actually save my watch from falling off! Also the rotor has some rust spots on it.
Definitely would not recommend this watch. The Invicta has its downsides, but at the end of the day it's an old watch company, has a renown movement, and is honest about what it is.
Im not 100 percent certain, but I think a sapphire crystal costs upward of $100 \120 ,so i very much doubt the Loreo has a sapphire crystal Havent tried Loreo. I find the Invictas Automatics really good ,very reliable.
I'm pretty sure Jody at Just One More Watch actually tested it for sapphire and found that it is really is sapphire.
sd26001 I just watched that video you mention and he does use a tester to verify it’s sapphire.
@@fjones1914 Maybe some people got a Loreo with a sapphire, and some people got one without. Just like how some people get it in a nice blue box, and some get it in a padded envelope (me).
Great comparison. Seriously considering both watches as an every-day beater.
thank you very much for this video.i have 2 invicta cos the seiko movement.stay safe
I bought the newer version of the Loreo that has an upgraded Seagull movement and it is both beautiful and accurate. Excellent video! I enjoy the head to head comparison reviews!
can I get a link plss
@@edmund8954 i don't think you can find a link for a Loreo with the newer movement, the Aliexpress store i bought mine on showcased the old movement on its pictures, but still i received the newer one
How's your Loreo holding up movement accuracy wise? Also did you purchase yours from the Loreo official store?
@@waris3732 I bought it from the WYQ store on AliExpress, movement is +15 seconds a day
@@sendastunt thanks. Thought about regulating it?
Oleg. Well done sir. Great Review. I own 14 Invictas. But also 15 Vostoks.
I have that same Hulk homage Loroe and love it. It's basically a Kermit because it has an aluminum bezel insert and the small case with a Hulk dial and a Yacht-Master bracelet because the middle links are polished. Mine is currently running about 10 seconds a day fast. I agree with you that the bezel back play is horrible and is only 90 clicks. The loom is pretty good at first but it only lasts about 10 minutes or so.
As a Bond fan I love the submariner look, but its way above my paygrade, therefore I got me that Loreo lookalike which is now my favourite watch.
I also own both Invicta & Loreo submariner homage watches. I give a small edge to Loreo because of the sapphire crystal and the Loreo bracelet is better engineered and more comfortable to ware.
I own both too, but I had a QC problem with the Invicta : the stem went out when I pulled it !.
I got a new invicta and measured the accuracy on a time grapher and it was 16 seconds fast a day. I regulated it down to zero. Very good movement in the invicta.
How is the water resistance after opening the watch?
I didn't test it before or after. I don't plan on swimming with it. The case back had a substantial rubber gasket and tightened snugly with a case wrench.
@@ronaldspencer547 So you buy a dive watch but won't swim in it. It's like buying a pair of shoes but don't walk in them AHAH
@@MenacedAssassin Ummm no, it's not. He's still using it as a watch. It would be like buying a pair of Nike's designed for basketball but not playing basketball in them. Which is every bit as normal and common as buying a dive watch but not using it to swim/dive.
Wow, zero. Better than Rolex, Patek or Lange. Congrats! Send it to COSC, your Invicta will win any competition with swiss brands.
My Invicta has the coin edge and is easier to grip and turn BUT it has a lot of play in it!
Both of these watches are awesome value for the money.
I bought my Invicta to wear at work only so I no longer wear my nicer, more expensive watches at work.
I am around a lot of electromagnetic fields and didn’t want to run the risk of magnetizing my more pricy watches.
I have purchased a de-magnetizer in case I need to perform that task.
I have both, and the bezel of the invicta is flawless. No play at all. Althouth the finishes of the bezel look quite better on the loreo... it has a "lot" of play. Not backwards, but its like the bezel its 0,4mm larger than it should
Jody at jomw praises the loreo and I expected it to come out on top so quite pleased with the result. I have an 8926ob bought out of curiosity and it's actually not a bad watch, however, it took three attempts with Amazon to get one that was satisfactory. The first had a misaligned cyclops, the second one surprisingly had a faulty nh35a movement but the third one is spot on. The ability to exchange the Invicta on a next day with Amazon prime is a massive plus point and occasionally the price drops low enough for it to be a real bargain. Loreo is also available on Amazon global but the prices appear fixed way above the invicta and they take between 1 and 4 weeks for delivery so it would be a pain if you ended up in the situation I had with the pro diver.
Great comments and your 3 attempts with Amazon confirms my suspicion that the quality attributes of the Invicta are being oversold. That plus if you ignore the bs coolness factor these 2 watches are actually in a dead heat.
@@cbody70 Jody is correct in saying pay no more than a base price of about $70. Beyond that there are better alternatives. They range from £65 to £125 on Amazon UK. If they just set a fixed price they would probably sell more of them.
If the Loreo just had the NH35 it would be such insane value for money at ~$60. Still good value..I might treat myself to it after my next paycheck as a sort of holiday gift to myself
My black Loreo day+date is so nice (albeit lacking a cyclops), I can barely pick another watch regardless the occasion.
Did just order a white dial Pagani "Daytona" this week. €54 out of pocket after coupons. Great specs as with Loreo and my Pagani oversize subby that's a great display piece.
For the Loreo a clasp upgrade is worth is. The clasp offerings on AliX are improving, hope to soon try out a new glidelock one. Specs are very vague so you only know when you try it.
How's your Loreo holding up? Movement accuracy wise
And could you throw in links to AliExpress on the clasps you've bought/considered? Thanks
Thisis the best youtube watch reviewer EVER!
And the human seems to know some things about watches too.
Invicta all the way...you can't beat the movent for the price and they look great i shamelessly own 5 different pro divers and have a hard time stopping buying more lol
Out of these two, I'd take the Loreo due to its lume and sapphire - two important criteria for beaters to have in my eyes. Lume in particular is super valuable when going out in the evening/night as well as for swimming, which are common occurrences for most people. I'd dish out a bit more money for a Corgeut BB beater, though.
You can tell the time better in the dark when you can see the hands rather than the numbers. With the Invicta at least you can see the hands clearer, which makes more sense.
I have the Loreo. Dont count on the lume to be useful. It gets dim pretty fast. You can still see the pips with dark adjusted eyes (albeit very faint), but you can't see the hands.
Could the loreo bezel be replaced entirely?
I have a Black Loreo Sub which is infinitely cooler than the Invicta. The Seagull ST16 is a lot smoother than the nh35 movement in my eye. The weakest link in the LOREO is the bezel. I've knocked it off 2 times. I have to replace the spring and it should be fine but quality control is def lacking there.
I dont think the word "infinitely" is the word you wanted to use
@@rikardocarvalho I've owned both. I sold the Invicta, it had infinitely zero appeal to me.
@@TimothyMoore they are both submariner homages, pretty much the same. Kinda of strange that one pleases you SO much and the other doesnt. At least to the point that you put them so apart. To my eyes, maybe loreo seems a littleeee bit superior regarding finishing quality (mine is brand new). That bezel insert looks better made and it has a better lume. (lets forget the sapphire because is not a visible feature). But my invicta has a more accurate movement, and has a super tight bezel. no play at all. The loreo bezel has some play that makes me nervous :). the magnifier is also crappy in the Loreo. The bracelet in the Loreo also doesnt fitd so well between the lugs, underneath the bezel there is some space that shouldnt exist. Oh.. the Invicta coin edge bezel its a little bit bigger, which stands out more and has a better grip. All in all... some has better things than the other and vice-versa. I Can't choose one
@@rikardocarvalho The movement in My Loreo is very accurate. like -3/day. Whereas the Invicta would lose 2-3 minutes in 12 hrs. As far as the bezel on the Loreo, I agree, but mine hasn't fallen off yet and I replaced the insert with a ceramic insert shortly after I got the watch. The bracelet fit mine well, no gaps, and the finish is very good. I have the Black PVD'd version.
The two things about the Loreo that I prefer mostly over the Invicta are:
A. Sensible branding. The Invicta looks stupid with the logo replicated all over the watch.
B. The rehaute on the Loreo is much swallower. The Invicta rehaute makes the watch feel like it has a tiny movement inside whereas the rehaute on the Loreo looks like there's a robust movement inside. The STP-11 is a great movement with Swiss DNA even if it's a Chinese rep.
My 2nd sea gull movement and they both are spot on with time and reserve., hand wind and hack. The Loreo has all the faults noted, but for $60 on a nato strap it looks great. Time will tell about the movement.
How's the loreo holding up? Movement accuracy wise
I own that green loreo. Worth every penny. I really like it
How long have you been using it for? And have you ever needed to service it? I was wondering how long of a lifetime it has because I'm thinking of buying one for myself
@@SuranTube i brought this on 2019 Feb month and its working pretty well and no service yet. Due to lockdown i didn't use it and whenever i want to use i just set time and use it. One min up or down. But great thing still no issues and working great
@@97910466xx That's great to know. I appreciate the reply!
Nice comparison
I have a Loreo on order. we'll see how it is when I get it.
5:24 those watches cost about 50$ so you dont service them, a service cost several handreds $.
My loreo has best bezal action of all my watch. No back play, precise and no backplay. I love it
I have a few Invicta Pro Divers, and I recently got a Loreo. I was surprised with the Loreo's weight in comparison to my Invicta's, the Loreo seems to be more solid. So far my Loreo is been pretty consistent timing-wise, seems to run okay thus far keeping accurate time. However, that could change with time as the watch is used more often. I think both watches are pretty close, but you get with the Loreo a sapphire crystal, which is really good for the price point. Invicta is better known, so it will be more desirable for some people plus if there are warranty issues you can contact them easily. Anyway, great review, keep up the nice work!
How is it working for you?
Wow! That was a real Battle Royale, full of twists and turns! I have to say that Invicta should get a 10 for coolness, because it was, last year, one of the most hated watch marques there was but now it seems to be scrapping its way back towards respectability and a bit of cachet. There's a groundswell of underdog invicta pride.
That’s largely due to invictas release of the 1953 which I was lucky enough to get one before the prices tripled
@@brianbuchert6382 Well said and lucky you getting your hands on that cool watch!
I have an Invicta 8926OB. Mine was running around 40 secs a day fast when I got it but I regulated it down to around +2 secs a day. For the money it’s not too bad at all.
Mine is about 35 seconds fast
I think I would put more value in the movement over the crystal. While sapphire is slightly better in the Loreo, the Seiko NH35 movement is far superior over a Seagull movement not housed in a Seagull watch. Just my opinion. I own about ten pro divers and four loreos. I favor Invicta.
I am a invicta owner and thank you for the information. I think I will stick with the invicta.
I've been wearing an Invicta #3049 Grand Diver as my "daily driver" for nine years and it still looks as pristine as the day it arrived. The gold hasn't even worn AT ALL.
Now, I have to ask you, why did you show the Loreo's display back but not the Invicta's? EVERY Pro and Grand Diver has a display back showing the Seiko NH35A movement but you didn't feature it. It makes no sense.
Excellent point.
My daily beater watch is an early 2000s Breitling SuperOcean blue dial. Between the Invicta or Loreo, Invicta hands down.
I have both and it is the LOREO by a mile.
How's your Loreo holding up movement wise? Is it a constant deviation in a day or does it depend from day to day?
Hello, very good combination especially about the comparison of mechanisms.
There are 3 versions of this Loreo and the first one did not have a stop second and was very accurate, now they are with a stop second and additionally with days of the week.
Water resistant my 1ver loero I swam 6m underwater and nothing happened.
The loreo bezel has the same spring as the one from bostok and can be adjusted, but it is very difficult to pull the bezel .. 120click in my version! It is very difficult to get a replacement insert of this size.
I have 3 different loreo (L9201g, L9202g and third is qwarc and no have review yet..) watches and they all came with boxes and I bought from different sellers from aliexpres about two years ago.
The winner in Europe is Loreo because nobody will buy an Invicta for 60 $ including home delivery. Invicta is cheap brand only in US.
Completely right, Invicta delivered to UK for example including taxes is 90 USD, not 70.
They sell them on Amazon in the UK. Somebody keeps stock here because I replaced mine three times in as many days. They are normally between £80 and £100 but can drop as low as £60 ($74) still a half decent watch for that money.
@@S-Ltd1000 when I order to Poland shipping + tax is +20£...
I have 5 invicta pro diver homages all almost ten years old all still runs and works like new. I just don’t personally like there new current models just way to big for my wrist but I’m looking for the 1953 model
I was lucky enough to get the 1953 for $150 now they are going from $250-$350
@@brianbuchert6382 oh lucky you 😎👍🏽
This invicta pro diver is one of their best watch ever, though It's a homage watch..!!
I just love this watch.!!
💜❤
I had an Invicta just like this one. I couldn't operate that smooth bezel when sweaty or wearing gloves. Got rid of it. Invicta does have a Pro Diver with a better coin edge bezel.
Yeah, the 8926OB
I love all of my Invicta's. I just bought one Loreo.
Go PARNIS or BLIGER, both offer more after service. Especially BLIGER offering 43mm cases of stunning appearance. The latter's accuracy is regulated to +8s/d, so its possible.
I'd give the Invicta bezel a plus for having a lumed dot. Do either of these watches have a bezel that dents easily?
They're both aluminum inserts so they will probably dent and scratch about the same
Has anyone managed to remove those endlinks on the Lorea? I was planning to try a 007 movie accurate NATO on my black one but it's not an easy job...
I just ordered my loreo on a nato strap from the company instead of the ss bracelet just because I like to switch out my straps and get different looks!
Hi, Recently I bought CK Automatic watch with ETA movement the best value watch. I am planning to replace the movement from CK to Loreo, as I read that it is difficult to replace NH35 with ETA compared to Seagull movement
(st16) with ETA. Let me know your opinion.
The Seagull is a ETA clone.
You should test the steeldive sd 1953, better lume and 300 m wt
i love the invicta case model, they have a other dial colors option?
Yes. I have the stainless and gold with the blue face. Very sharp.
Nice matchup Oleg. Personally, I can't imagine wasting a nickel on either of these. Plenty of people like them, just not me.
Don P don't waste a nickel. Waste hundreds of dollars on them watches
I have both Invicta pro diver and loreo full black. The nh35/36 movement is 24 Jewel the seagul st16 is 21, which I'm sure adds to the accuracy. The loreo box is nicer but I didn't get the tool just a kit with tools and pins. There is a pip on the Invicta bezel not on loreo, and the Invicta bezel is tighter. The p-d is available with a coin edge like the loreo. And really when was the last time time you dove to 660 feet? The other thing about loreo that is a serious problem, it's not superlative, or certified.
*Maybe do review The Pagani Submariner too*
Did you test the Loreo crystal. Is it really Sapphire. Some are claiming to be Sapphire coated. My diamond tester only sees window glass. That said, I'll have to dig mine out. I bought 2, I must have been half asleep because one was quartz. I gave it away. Personally, I'd save $20 more and buy another Parnis, not only Sapphire but ceramic bezel as well. Cheers all from the USA.
I understand a pressed clasp is not much to look at but I do appreciate when it is polished and well finished and I feel the Invicta gives in that range of the best stamped clasp available while the Loreo give the worst. I hate that type of stamped clasp so much that I care not that the bracelet has solid endlinks.
Just bought a loreo and would like an invicta too. I think the sapphire crystal makes loreo a great watch value. Have you seen coin edge bezel pro diver by invicta?
I've got one. Lume was much better. Dot on bezel lights up too. Bezel a little tough to turn til you break it in. Look on ebay used should get cheap. Some love some hate, I love it. Coin edge makes it a bit higher. Keeping accurate time clear back case.
G M no I want to though
Argh, I purchased a nice looking Loreo "Daytona" look-alike. Nice enough, but the crown tube threads stripped and the watch is now no longer even water resistant as the crown won't screw down. I asked the Ali Express seller for an address for in-warranty repair (one year warranty, supposedly) and they gave me an address in Fujian province which correlates with, of all things, the XIAMEN UNITED STONE IMP & EXP CO., LTD. I guess that's a GFY.
Oleg, how did your Neymar, black bay homage, with the explorer homage dial, with the NH35A movrment, turn out these days?
It's a great watch and working well.
Seen some bad luck with Invicta, but I had one that was fine except the crystal scratched very easy. Also, I just watched a video where a watchmaker took the NH35A apart and found 2 plastic parts that have no business in an automatic. But, for the price......maybe its ok.
Is the Seagull ST16 movement a clone of any Western or Japanese movement? Might be easier to drop in a new movement (if you really wanted to) rather than trying to have the Seagull serviced.
If the Seagull is a copy of another movement, replacement could be a DIY job.
Probably if an ETA, their 2025 movements will be a clone of a Grand Seiko.
ill go with the invicta cheers
Loreo watch looks so similar to the Tevise submariner. I know I really enjoy my Invicta Pro Diver and Grand Diver, but I am definitely interested in the Loreo.
Get the Loreo shark series instead. It come with a miyota 8215.
Same I love all 5 of my invictas and I love the pro diver but can’t wait till the loreo gets here
Where could l buy tessil Maren Diver in 220 usd
Omar Ahmed I was looking at a Tisell also. Gave up on it. Got a Glycine Combat Sub at Costco for $289.99 instead. Swiss watch for under $300? Yes, please!
I couldn't agree with you more, sir.
Buen video. Prefiero el Loreo a pesar de que sea un seagull y no un seiko.
Invicta might've scored higher, but that just means that there loreo is the better beater watch especially cuz it's got a sapphire crystal.
Lorea have Chinese seagull movement while Invicta has Japanese movement.
I bought a Loreo a month ago, mine is running +15 sec a day
Even sophisticated watch snobs know all about the Invicta's Pro diver... It's the infamous 60 dollar Rolex Sub. You'll either love it or hate it...but Invicta pro diver is part of the watch collectors community... And Invicta is a black sheep company of it; by making those 62mm, colorful, wrist cuffs that break all the traditions, but are pretty fun to look at.
You didn't talk about wrist comfort or differences in the dial
Thats because this video is not about those inquires.... Simple.....
NH35 is a 10/10 movement to you??
$15-20 Tevise and Sinobi watches come in thinner boxes bit with a bracelet tool. If you look.
yeah but chrome plated brass! how long will that last?
Wow. .my Loreo came in a plastic bag from Ali-Express. You must've had the extra fancy delivery.
Why is all these Loreo vs. comparison videos featuring the green dial Loreo? Is there only the one color?
I bought recently one with a black case from WYQ store, but NO saffier Glass!!
You tested it out with a diamond selector?
Also how's your Loreo holding up movement wise?
To add to the video - Loreo watches come with 2 different movements (based on AliExpress comments). Mine is different than yours with an ancor-shaped weight.
is the movement on yours better than the one reviewed on this video ? thanks
still deciding
I think the loreo will get cooler over time!
I have both watches and I couldn't disagree more. Loreo is the better watch and just as accurate as my sub.
How accurate is your watch movement wise?
Guys, everywhere I look the Invicta is $120, wether it's on Amazon or the official Invicta store. Should I wait for black Friday or something
I’d get a Komandirskie over any of those two, no second thoughts.
Johnny Bravo why not both?
Joseph Schatz, I don't like Invicta as a brand, and I don't know the other one.
Unless you want to get your hands wet...
I have a Komandirskie and a Loreo, love them both but if I had to choose it would be the Loreo all day long.

How does the Pagani Design Compare to these two watches PD-1639 ? Please let us know
great watch at 67$ with seiko nh35a, ceramic bezel ,ceramic dial, solid bracelet, well polished and brushed, & the cyclop is on point, but the edge of the lugs still sharp
