Thank you for your feedback. The video does not do the pipe justice, sounds much better in person. Factory silencer weighs 3.9kg over the aftermarket weighing 1.78kg
Nice deep sound. Hoping they have a full exhaust. Like a larger diameter header as well a cat delete. No need for emissions where i live. Can plate a twostroke dirt bike, literally even a riding lawn mower can be plated and ridden on the streets here just north or Seattle, WA.
que buenos videos y canciones !!
Sounds beautiful!
Thought the stock unit actually sounded pretty good for a factory can but the Yoshi is great. Sounds like a much bigger bike. Well done on the way you clearly show the components and how to install them 👍
Thanks for your feedback Jason. It does sound better in person though. My microphone at the time of recording clipped and didn't pick up the audio as good. Got a decent microphone now so should be making a proper video on the bike soon and get quality audio recordings from what the exhaust sounds like. So stay tuned...
Y como no esperando los colectores a ver que se puede hacer 😅😊saludos desde España 😊
Perhaps im just an old fart. I quite like the stock exhaust muffler & stock sound. But, it does sound fruiter!
Swapping out the muffler, has it affected the low speed fueling & throttle grip position? Is it popping like crazy on the overrun?
Since you're an engineering chap, could you lengthen the bracket to move the clamp midway over the can to give it a balanced support?
Also, if you have those facilities, maybe create a new hanger to incorporate the pannier racks & do away with the pillion footpegs all together?
You'd need shorter hex cap screws, but doable.
Otherwise, you have got some cracking scenic roads there!
Cheers!
I might get an aftermarket for weight savings and to make the kids in my neighborhood happy, they keep asking me a rev bomb everytime I pass trough lol.
Hi Steve ,she doesn't backfire as much. The only pop here & there when shifting gears and a burble on deceleration. Yes I'll see what I can do with the pillion pegs as I'm always up for saving weight where I can.
Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more.
@@metalsadman 😄😄😄👍🏼
Whitemans Valley Moores roads, my fav weekend blat on my sv650s, similar sound with after market exhaust. Nice
Hola compañero, pues muchísimas gracias por tu canal yo ya estoy poniendome al dia de acesorios 😊gracias a ti🤘🤘🤘🤘👌👌
Thank you very much. Appreciate your feedback. 🙏🏼
Don’t think there’s a better sounding small capacity motorcycle engine out there - glorious music coming from such a little lump!😁
I agree with you...The sound of this bike is what made me pull the trigger on this specific bike. Then I had to ad the exhaust to amplify the sound😄
yes, sound like a bigger engine
A big weight saving, interesting to see the length of the pipe when the silencer is removed, I would like a raised exhaust similar to the HP Corse version for the Tenere, looks like the pipe would need cutting. Thanks for all the interesting videos as I wait for MT.
@@davidz8 Thank you for watching. I would also like a slightly steeper angle but yes, would have to start modifying the header.
CFmoto have a fuel map update for the 450MT on the app. available now in Australia.
@@MrKdr500 Thank you for your feedback. I also did mine last night😊
great sound, what's the weight of the stock exhaust btw?
Watch video dumbass.
Yks for video; I guess you can't have exact flow changing the exhaust, so what about the correct ECU mapping ?
@@babar69110 Yes for now I won't benefit much if there's any gains to achieve from having that slightly less back pressure. But ,I don't really care too much of gaining 1hp if that's possible... I'm getting great consumption(3.8l/100) to work and sounds awesome while doing that. We'll see if any software tunes come available at a later stage. But under warranty, I won't be doing much.
@@babar69110 Once again, thanks for watching... I have more content on the way.
Sounds really nice.. would be much better is realtime. The bike is also sounding more peppy
Thank you for your feedback. Yes she does sound a lot better in person. I will get some better recording of the exhaust pretty soon with a proper microphone. so stay tuned and thanks for watching🙏
What kind of panniers did you get for the new racks
@@howardmann5634 I got the Rhinowalk 14ltr x2. Fits very well. I will do a video soon.
Great video man !! Keep up the good work
Did you machine the collar or have it made for you by a muffler shop?
@@nevillegreg1Hi Neville, I made it at work as we have a engineering department and lots of off-cutt materials.
@@hein3gDo you think we could just use the smaller slip joint and bypass the need for custom collar?
@@nielolee Yes sure, you possibly could. Reason I had to make the collar was because I ordered all the bits before I had the bike. So I went off the SR450 measurements... I'm sure you can just get the one size down from mine.
The standard pipe seems shorter than the new pipe though
@@paulvandervyver4223 Thank you for your feedback. Yes, it probably is. I wanted it to be longer as I was wanting more of a Tenere look. I wanted the pipe angled upward more too. But don't want to modify the factory header ,so I just kept it at the same angle as the header.
Sounds great. What size slip joint did you use?
Thank you for watching. I have used 45mm/51mm. Reason I had to make a collar stepping up from 41.7mm to 44.9mm.
@@hein3gwhat’s the collar made of and how did you make it
@@MudaholicJR Aluminium 😁
Are you making more and sell them? @@hein3g
@@hein3gwhere can I buy the muffler and that slip joint?
all these after market slip on mufflers are a rip off i rekin
@@malcolmmathers2690 You get much cheaper ones that I'm sure will do the same job. But if you are referring to original aftermarket...I would agree with you. If I was to buy this Yoshi original ,it would cost $1500nz. That is a lot of money!😖
