1.7kg weight in total. I assume the brackets must be made from steel?
@@TZGreg Their aluminium, If I recall the support bracket to the pillion pegs are steel.
how did you connect the license plate light cables, what color did you connect with black and what color did you connect with red, because they don't match those of the motorbike

Excellent videos, thanks for taking the time and thanks for the links and description, you're the best. A question about these engine protectors Do you feel that they retain moisture when you wash the motorcycle or in the rain? Do you think water leaks or accumulates inside?
I am going to purchase this exact setup as it sounds and looks amazing but can I ask why you used the first adapter sleeve from 41.7mm to 44.9mm when there is a connecting sleeve available from AliExpress that goes from 42mm to 51mm?
Thank you for watching. I ordered all parts before the MT's arrived in NZ... So I measured the pipe diameter of the 450 SR and ordered the adapter according to that. So they ended not being the same🤦🏼♂️😄. But being quite creative I always make things work, reason I had to make some adjustments😁. Stay tuned and see the videos to follow.

Gday mate, thanks for the video...how did your panniers work out in the end ?
@@150_ADVenture Thank you for watching. I find them very handy and so far they get the job done. A bit of a hassle to mount but putting all my luggage inside a pillow case each side, makes it easy to remove.
@hein3g cheers for that.
H, the spacer are not reverse?
@@paololonzi Hi mate and thank you for watching. Yes, in the video I installed them incorrectly, but corrected afterwards. As the mating surface on the subframe has a small contact surface, which is why I thought the narrow side should face inwards
Great video! Helped a lot! Thanks!
Reallly good video my friend
Hey, very nice setup. I’m interested in the same thing. Could you tell me the dimensions of the pannier racks on Ali espress? I’m interested in the 48-liter Rhino ones. I want to see if they are compatible or if they are too large. Have you thought about whether you could do without the straps over the top of the seat and place them under the seat, or maybe modify them and attach them to the screws of the pannier racks? I’m very interested in your opinion. Best regards and thanks a lot.
Solid! The left mount says "TM"
@@ChMNTZ Thanks for watching. The seller sent me the correct one since the video was made. So it says MT now😁😄
@@hein3g I enjoyed that video so much. Nice tools you have there !
Ωραία!!!
It's not a sport bike. Original Exhaust it's nice
Just did the exact same thing using your video as a sort of "parts list" 😊 Got myself a yoshi copy too 👍 got her all fitted up, now just need the rain to stop 😂
@@jonnothetrucker Oh awesome mate!... Thanks for watching and it's good to hear that this video helped you🙏🏼. Thanks for your feedback👌🏼
@hein3g yeah mate, easy as ! Only thing I had to work out was to trim the length of the adapter outlet so that the slip on sat at the right length
It would be good to hear your feedback after you use these bags on a trip mate, and if you've had to fight with the removal of them. Thanks for the video. Cheers!
Could you just mount the bags without having to buy the MT side brackets?
Loving your videos around the 450MT mate !! Thanks 👌
Thank you for the positive feedback. I try😄🙈.
How is it on the road at around 100kph, is it load ?
Hi mate thank you for watching. I've ridden this bike all the way from 100 to 158km/h and haven't felt any instability or vibration as some of the reviews claim. Being a small displacement I do notice when I load more weight in terms of pulling power. That being one of the reasons I'm sticking to the 14t sprocket. Perfect gearing for going offroad.
@@hein3g Hi mate, thanks for your response however, I was refering to the muffler and it now being louder. I am wondering if it is not overbearing at a constant high engine rpm ?
@@150_ADVenture Got ya , 'load' - 'loud'. Yes it is a bit overbearing at constant speed, but you can buy a insert to quiet it down for those long road trips.
Gday mate, thanks for the video, wondering how you're liking the Yoshimura Pipe? It sounds great on the vid. I was thinking maybe that the spring could be inverted so as the ends of the springs would not dig into the muffler body, only a suggestion. 😊
Hello from Spain! Great and useful videos! Thanks! I bought the same bike and I'm choosing a rack made of plates vs tubes. I am planning to use soft bags. I suppose the brackets made of tubes can protect the exhaust pipe during a fall. Have you thought about protecting the bike? Are you comfortable using these plates?
@@chivascap Thank you for watching. So far I have not had a big fall yet, and if I do I will probably scratch the exhaust a lot and if pannier bags are fitted will probably bend the mounting brackets. The tube design looks stronger because of the tube that runs around the rear bracing on the bracket on the other side. Was going to see where my contact points are when the crashbars are fitted. I will look into it and see what I'm going to do.
G'day, great video mate. How's the GPS working for you these days?
@@150_ADVenture Hi mate, thank you for watching. It's actually better than I thought. Pairing it to my cardo also works better than pairing to the bike. And because my phone is paired to the bike ,my steering controls still works. It's only the volume I still have to do from the cardo unit itself, which I am currently using anyway.Pre-downloading offline maps also works great. So,so far it was worth the price.
@@hein3g I had a look at your link for the unit, a reasonable price.
@@hein3g Hi mate. Now that you've had a chance to travel with the GPS, I was wondering how the mounting mod went. Does it stay in one place or do you have to reposition it after you've jumped the bike or ridden over corrigations? Cheers for the feedback.
Not sure why you need the foam inserts, taking up space. Fell asleep after 4 mins lol
@@EddyOtway Hi Eddy and thanks for watching. You don't need it, it's just an ocd thing for me to keep it's original shape. I want straight lines on the seams.
How do I fix the tinted front glass??? It looks nice. I have a 450 too
Thank you for watching. I recently uploaded a video to my channel where I install the screen and added a link in the description. Check it out

Hola, ¿ Qué modelo de Carplay es? Lo quiero también para una CF Moto y quiero que vaya en la araña con el mismo soporte. Gracias
Hi Mate and thank you for watching. If you look in the description below you will find the links to the accessories used. I used the MTC-13 model. Thank you
@@hein3g hola, es que lo veo desde el móvil y no me sale o no sé, donde mirarlo. Gracias
Bro, your choice of music is shit.
Top draw mate
Hi! Are the side racks really necessary to be able to use the bags? Or you could do it wothout them? And which size are your bags?
Hi Diablo, and thank you for watching. I haven't used mine without the racks, but I think they will be very floppy and loaded with weight I don't think that is something you want. That will affect the handling of the bike. You would also want to keep them away from going under the rear wheel arch.
@@hein3g Fair enough, thanks for your thoughts!
@@hein3g Which size are your bags anyway?
@@Diablorf Mine are the medium size available which is 14Ltr each. Then I have the one I strap over the top that is another 20Ltr.
@@hein3g I thought yours are the large size (24L each). The 14L bags look bigger on the bike then I thought.
Super bike👍
Professionally presented as usual! NZ outback awaits! Albeit, slowly 😉🤙
Also that doesn't look like a GPS, but just an android auto screen
@@javierc2726 Thank you for watching, yes you are correct. Cheaper alternative to gps for those not wanting to spend the extra money. For now I can use it downloading offline maps when there's no cellphone signal, until starlink is up and running.
sound check please of your canister. thanks
@@kervincruz3561 Thank you for watching. I have a video on my channel of the 'canister' install. 'yoshimura slip-on'
Try a wide resolution, it's been ages since square resolutions are gone
@@javierc2726 Thanks for the 'positive' feedback...I'm new to the youtube scene. So, I'll get there.
@@hein3g No problem. Stick to 16:9 aspect ratio that is the most common used
Nice video and insructions. What about thiefs? How easy is to steal it?
Having a satnav ram mounted makes too much leverage on the bar. I’ve done similar using a rather heavy android phone with a large battery. Sikaflexed a amps mount to the back to provide a near flush mounting held on with thumb wheel screws to the bike mount. I leave the bike at meets etc. figured if someone has enough time to work out how to remove it, I’ll take it off myself
@@briancummings4912 Thanks for your feedback and can see that being a issue with the arm extension. This unit being a cheap buy there is not much to it to be honest, doesn't weigh much. So I will see how it goes. Just don't want my phone on the handlebar flopping around and exposed to rain. This unit is cheap, a phone not so cheap.
@@kostiantynlevchenko5415 Thank you for watching. On the theft side of things I think the only alternative is to use the provided arm so it's removable but will flop around being so far extended. The one wanting to steal this will break the unit and the bike if he really wants it that bad.

Was there much of a weight difference between the new and old?
Thanks for your comment. If you watch the whole video😂 you'll see I do weigh them.

@@hein3g its about 500g and better looking. But the Standard also looking nice
G'da, another great informative video. I wonder how you have found the quality of the original fixtures and metal components since moding the bike up?
@@150_ADVenture Hi Mate. I honestly cant fault anything on this bike. Everything is of same quality as all the well known brands out there. In some cases I find the Cf moto went the extra mile with clever thoughts... Like the adjustable screen, simple but clever.Just makes the overall product so much harder to ignore, especially for the price.
@@hein3g Thanks mate, I am test riding one this weekend with the view of buying it. I'm very pleased to hear your feedback. Cheers for that. 😁
Hey thanks for the video, great demonstration of the fitment. Do you have any suggestions for pannier and tank bags? Cheers.

You can replace the stock battery with a lithium one and you save 3,3 kgs ! Thanks for the vídeo !
Hi Ricardo and thanks for watching. Wow, what a weight saving! I will definitely look into it...
Fit looking machine Bro!
Thanks Mate, appreciate your feedback Thanks for watching.
interesting that you pick this instead of the welded ones, though savage have good 450mt parts I have many of theirs on my bike.
Hi mate, thanks for watching. I ordered this plate a long time ago and didn't get round to fit it. At the time there was not a lot of options and I did like the webbing design on the sides more than the ones available at the time. I guess I can remove all the bolts and weld it to one piece if I really want to.
