Tasha, this track is one of my all-time favorites by Deep Purple! Lord goes off on the organ and Gillian's vocals are so good. Great reaction! Another great song off this album is THE LINE, a relatable lament about being impatient. WOMAN FROM TOKYO was the radio hit on this album.
absolutely right there is no band rocking harder than deep purple ,ian paice is going crazy here with his superb drumming , even tough 51 years after its still sounds fresh ,deep purple for life .
Recorded 1972.. Good Job Mrs TNT.. Lemmy great vibe.. Funky as heck.. Ian Paice the Glue behind the Battery. flying fingers Lord solo.. Space Trucken live MIJ. Peace
Great request there Lemmy and cool fun reaction from Tasha. Those first 4 MK2 Deep Purple albums are all Legendary imo. Smooth Dancer would be my fave from this album. The song where Gillan calls out Blackmore, but what a rockin' track!
Nice reaction. Many more great tracks from this album titled Who Do You Think We Are. Another great track from the purple that is not on this album is Perfect Strangers....
A great song never played thank you for reacting to this one. Fast pace. The late Jon Lord on organ shows why he was one of the greatest of all time on this tune
I've often wondered what Rat Bat Blue means. All I can think of is Rat is Gillan, Bat is Blackmore and Blue means fight. Maybe I'm I'm wrong. This track has been a favorite for so long. Thanks for posting.
This is one of the Deep Purple greats that most people don’t talk about. As for Deep Purple their most popular songs are Child in Time, Highway Star, Burn and of course the most popular guitar riff of all time Smoke on the Water.
It's a very good album. Unfortunately, the band were falling apart by this stage, due to overwork and poor management. It was overshadowed by the simultaneous release of Made in Japan, which I remember receiving heavy airplay on the radio. It's my son's fav DP album - released 20 years before he was born!
@Bookhouse Boy I was lucky to see them on the machine head tour in 1972. They played a little verity at that concert. They played Black Knight. Mandrake Root and some others.
This is one bad ass jam always loved this shit ALWAYS ⚡☄️💥💫🤘 I've seen these cool guys 2 nights in a row live God it was loud and you are just beautiful 😍😘😛🐈
Deep Purples album In Rock was a game changer for laying down the tracks for 80's metal. Everyone says check out Child in Time which is a classic. The best jamming song however is Hard Lovin' Man. Wicked Jon Lord keyboards & killer guitar from Ritchie Blackmore.
Great Song, I'm a Great Deep Purple fan......Try from their "Fireball" album the song "No One Came"....and also try from "Made in Japan" song "Space Trucking"...only thing with that song, it's live and it's 20 minutes long....with that just put headphones on, lay back and listen......
i love how you get down with classic rock lol. I grew up on it here in the south. check out phil collins feat philip bailey-easy lover. you'll love it!
This song just hits right between the eyes on the first listen. Mark II Deep Purple at their prime, even though they were in the process of losing the singer and bass player during the making of the album.
Because by the time this album was out the band had already split and they were more interested in promoting their next album Burn. Sad bc I think it’s a great album.
yes a good one also. Listening to that for the first time it made me feel like i was walking in a line at first. I dont know why this album is so under rated I bought the album when it first came out.
One of my favs by DP but the instrumental section changes the mood of the vibe too much . .. SPACE TRUCKING and LADY LUCK are really good also..Very upbeat like this one ..DP has many good songs ,even the Tommy Boiln to Steve Morse years
Lemme has great taste, tanx for playing this, keep the jam's Rollin from the Kings of the Smoke ✌️♥️🌈
I believe it's called Place In Line, and it has one of Blackmore's greatest guitar solos.
@@frankpentangeli8104 Ahh yes, you're right. Just going off of my memory without checking first. 👍
Greetings from England! My favourite band and a superb song.
absolutely right there is no band rocking harder than deep purple ,ian paice is going crazy here with his superb drumming , even tough 51 years after its still sounds fresh ,deep purple for life .
Way to go your the first reactor ive seen to do this song.
Such a lesser known Gem of a song.
Great Purple track and even better watching you grooving to it Tasha. Beautiful Woman!
My favorite Deep Purple song, and never expected to see a reaction video to it. Nice.
Fantastic reaction, glad to see Deep Purple uplifting people
That is why John Lord is lord of the keyboards! Thanks Lemmy
Definitely one of Purple's most UNDERRATED deep cuts. Used to jam on this on "repeat" on the 8-track, BITD.
Underplayed, but all Deep Purple fans love it!
Great reaction to some older Deep Purple , The best line up that Deep Purple had .
Recorded 1972.. Good Job Mrs TNT.. Lemmy great vibe.. Funky as heck.. Ian Paice the Glue behind the Battery. flying fingers Lord solo.. Space Trucken live MIJ. Peace
Never have I seen a person get this song the way you do. And you anticipate the hand claps - bravo.
Great request there Lemmy and cool fun reaction from Tasha. Those first 4 MK2 Deep Purple albums are all Legendary imo. Smooth Dancer would be my fave from this album. The song where Gillan calls out Blackmore, but what a rockin' track!
Great tune. A great DP tune that brings the funk is "Love Don't Mean a Thing".
Smoke on the water LIVE, Super Trooper off this album, Perfect Strangers.
Yeah, Super Trouper is awesome.
I always imagine an arena crowd just Erupting after that organ solo. So good!
Nice reaction. Many more great tracks from this album titled Who Do You Think We Are. Another great track from the purple that is not on this album is Perfect Strangers....

A great deep track from Deep Purple! Wonderful reaction video. You go girl!
Really funky track, ain't heard this in a good while, great reaction Tasha ❤️🤘☮️. TaTa. Yeah ty Lemmy
Yes! Volume must be up for Deep Purple...
I love "Space Trucking" but the real fire track was used in the TV show The Expanse to great effect: check out "HIGHWAY STAR"!
I've often wondered what Rat Bat Blue means. All I can think of is Rat is Gillan, Bat is Blackmore and Blue means fight. Maybe I'm I'm wrong. This track has been a favorite for so long. Thanks for posting.
Great pick! I love this song!
Purple's greatest "hidden" gem. As good as anything they ever did and that's saying something!!!
This has always been one of my favorites.
This is one of the Deep Purple greats that most people don’t talk about. As for Deep Purple their most popular songs are Child in Time, Highway Star, Burn and of course the most popular guitar riff of all time Smoke on the Water.
Great choice, this song is so underrated.
This and Super Trouper, way too underrated

I had this album when i was 14. Lost it somewhere sadly. Badass tune.
Deep Purple In Rock
Flight of the Rat
What a gem and totally overlooked, even more Metal and aggressive than Sabbath's debut imo.
@@jayjaytee9944 I agree.Into the Fire especially.
@Bookhouse Boy Yes I agree. This album is underated also. Can't figure why?
@Bookhouse Boy I was lucky to see them on the machine head tour in 1972. They played a little verity at that concert. They played Black Knight. Mandrake Root and some others.
Space Trucking, Lazy, Highway Star, Perfect Strangers, Child in Time, Hush, Burn, and of course Smoke on the Water.
This is one bad ass jam always loved this shit ALWAYS ⚡☄️💥💫🤘 I've seen these cool guys 2 nights in a row live God it was loud and you are just beautiful 😍😘😛🐈
Apparently a Rat Bat Blue was a drink involving Bacardi.

Great request Lemmie. Nice deep cut of DP
I'll never understood why this song wasn't on the charts.
Because by the time this album was out the band had already split and they were more interested in promoting their next album Burn. Sad bc I think it’s a great album.

@@richirich3916 It’s because of its predecessors machine head - fireball - in the rock and the live epic made in Japan that’s what it’s compared to.
Thank You i like this band a lot i saw them in concert in 1972. Machine Head Tour.
@@BeeLineEast You lucky man to see deep purple in their prime
