I was looking 4 latin authenticity and I found it. I love spanish food and whenever i go to cuchifritos or something they give me this garlic sauce for the pork..omggggg.. heaven..I need this sauce on everything..and i finally found the vid 2 make my own thanks 2 u..New subby!
I bought that tostonera in the bronx when i was in my 20's. I'm in my 40's now. I've had that tostonera for over 2 decades. LOL. I have not found that one ever since... I have found similar ones in the Dominican Republic but it's nowhere near that one. I also had a subscriber recently screenshot a picture of the same tostonera you see in that video @ walmart. I was in SHOCKED cause I've been dying to buy that same one (as a back up)... I still haven't found it in my local walmart, but you can definitely see if they have it at your walmart. Thank you for watching my videos. May you have an amazing weekend...🤍
At least you know first hand. I may be showing everyone how to make my tostones, but, you've got to eat them numerous times and loved it... :-) Those were the good ol' days.
+Providencia Silva So all this time it was actually called Mojo de Ajo? I never knew that and I always used to order Tostones Y bistek enrollado con cebolla. I would always say "Salsa de ajo" lol, thank you for the recipe and its true name.
Hi, I am a new subscriber and I love your channel ♥️ This looks great but I couldn't understand what seasoning you used while cooking. It sounded like "tortilla" but I think that's probably not it lol. I would love to try it so could you tell me what seasoning that was, thanks 😋
As little or as much as you want. If you have more garlic left over, put it in the fridge (sealed container) and you can use it the next day to season your meat. That's what I do. It all depends how much plantains you're making and how much garlic your family loves. I hope this info was helpful. Thank you for commenting and have a blessed day. :-)
Aaaaawww. I am so sorry about that. Is it the way I speak or the loudness in the background? Please know this was one of my 1st few videos on youtube and I was very shy at first... Also, I love to clean and cook with music on and didn't know that it picks up clearly in the camera... I'm very sorry.
I am gonna try to work on not putting music and TV loud on my videos. It's a bad habit of mines but I know some people don't like it. This video was one of the first videos I did on youtube and I didn't know that any sound can be picked up from the living room to the kitchen. I do apologize. Thank you for commenting. Have a nice day. :-)
just want to say after making this it was the best tostones I've ever had, and I've had a lot!! thank you!
Aaaawwww. Thank you. U just made my day. :-)
