I had my tubal ligation done over 21 years ago, in Georgia. The only way i know what kind it was, was because my husband watched the whole thing, because it was during a c section, and said they were tied, cut, and burned. That hospital probably won't have my records anymore since it was so long ago. Im going to ask for them anyway, but I'll probably have to do a laparoscopy. Meh. No problem. At least i have knowledge of what was done.

I'm going to look into this. I'm sure I have PTLS. Been to so many doctors this past year only to be told everything is normal and my pain is normal. It's so frustrating cause I can't live a life and be the mom my two kids deserve.

Records are not always reliable. I looked for records from a procedure I had years ago. But I was told that anything over 10 years is purged from the record system. And can no longer get them in Georgia.

I had a tubal ligation 14yrs ago and the hospital that contains the medical records is in Puerto Rico and they are closed down. From what I know of my tubal ligation is that my doctor burned and cut them. My tears comes out because i was young and my husband back then agreed with my mother and both signed off to get my tubes cut however the doctor cut most of it and burned it. I want to get pregnant so bad and I heard about this surgery with hopes that I can get my tubes reversed. Please advice. Thank you.

It depends if they removed a small part of the tube or the entire Fallopian tube. The path report will tell you...if they removed more than 4 to 5cm then they removed the entire tube
