Okay, Tom Scott video explanation: He got a bunch of nouns (all the ones he could find) and got people to vote on which was better on a random selection of two of them. The thumbnail contains some of the top answers
Literally what I was about to answer he is freaking amazing and his videos are always interesting.. in this Video specifically he let his audience rank ALL things and bisexuality was significantly higher ranked than heterosexuality.
The Tom Scott video title actually isn't clickbait, it never is. He straight up put out a vote with a bunch of things to a whole lot of people. Bisexuality scored considerably higher than heterosexuality
That's not the only video that has a counting timer as the video title, there's another one to do with views but it's not always up to the same amount when you watch the video
I love when the little comic says "Pan and Bi people are not enemies!" I can confirm. I am pan/queer and my gf is bi. The only thing we fight about is who gets to be the little spoon
Love the comic at the end. I started off identifying as pan but switched to bi simply because it's easier to explain. Now, my youngest sibling identifies as pan while we know our sexualities are similar, we respect that that's the label we chose.
Another fun fact! A Ken doll was sold wearing a lavender mesh shirt, jacket, and a cockring necklace. The Earring Magic Ken was supposed to be a cooler updated look. He was incredibly gay and became the best selling Ken for it, though he was discontinued once the straights caught on.
Fun fact: Bi is when you can like any gender, but maybe your "type" in girls is you like tough, strong girls. When maybe in men you like nerdy, smart boys. Or for an enby you like artsy ones. Pan is when you can like any genders, but you don't care about the gender, as long as, for example, they enjoy art and nature. Bi and pan are different, but they are both valid.
@@beep3038 The gender of someone changes what they look for in them. From my experience as a bi girl, I find girls who are independent and able to take care of themselves attractive, but for some reason I can't see myself with an independent man. I also have a preference for girls, I just fall for them more.
This reminds me of that one meme like, I'm bi so girls feel like 'ahh', guys feel like 'ohh', NB's feel like 'ehh', etc. I'm pan and all feel like 'ahh' to me. (Ya'll get the point, right?)
Technically Bi is both caring and not caring about gender🤷♂️ Like some type of quantum superposition🙋 Bi is an umbrella term which pansexuality falls under; Whereas pansexuality, itself, is just a more specific classification of bisexuality... think of it like classifying animals in taxonomy
I always love seeing OT cover a bi subreddit, partially because I’m bi myself and like getting to learn our culture and see OT laugh, and also because his hair and lights often match the flag colors and it makes the happy chemicals flow
saying someone is straight or gay instead of Bi because you're currently or mostly dating one gender over another is like saying all single people are Asexuals. like how stupid would that be?!?!
Apparently pretty damn stupid because it's pretty much the thing brought up with me any my girlfriend both being bi, coming second to the bi=poly=threesomes assumption.
You know... That comparison actually gets better and better the more I think about it. People assume that you don't have sex if you're either Ace or single People assume that you're sad/something is wrong with you if you're either single or Ace People assume you're lonely if you're either single or Ace Some people even assume that you're unlovable for some reason, if you're either single or Ace But even with these comparable factors, they're not the same thing. Just like someone being bi doesn't change no matter who they are or aren't dating
In the Tom Scott, video, he polled is question, to work out "What is the best thing?". It is an interesting video if you want to watch it, but to explain the bisexual bit, in the results, bisexuality came much higher than heterosexaulity. Basically, the entire video concluded that Tom's audience are extremely online, bisexual, sleep-deprived nerds who need a hug. Which is literally me...
Bob Belcher is the ultimate bicon. We needed a bi character that wasn't a supermodel level of conventional attractiveness, and we got this wholesome cinnamon roll.
I like to use bi to mean attraction to more than one gender in potentially different ways while pan is attraction to more than one gender in the same way. That is just how I like to define it.
Sounds kind of like me with women, you might want to look into the term "androsexual" which is where you're attracted to masculinity rather than specifically men. I'm gynosexual myself - the same thing but femininity instead of masculinity.
OT these are what cannolis are: Cannoli are Italian pastries consisting of tube-shaped shells of fried pastry dough, filled with a sweet, creamy filling usually containing ricotta-a staple of Sicilian cuisine. They range in size from 9 centimetres to 20 centimetres. In mainland Italy, they are commonly known as cannoli siciliani. They are delicious, and also addicting.
Also cannoli is the plural of cannolo, so when you say, “take the cannoli” it should mean you have pockets full of pastry, which is so much better than a single gun.
The whole reason I found your channel was because I was questioning my own sexuality. Your videos actually taught me what the differences were between a lot of the different labels and which one best suits me. Thank you for being the upfront Ally that this lesbian needed! 🥰
There is a great tumblr post about Li Shang's "bisexual awakening" and basically, he was always surrounded by young, strong men. He knew he was attracted to them. What actually surprised him was that he fell in love with a *woman*. Idk, I just think that's a neat headcanon.
I’m bisexual and married to a man. I have found *me* erasing *myself* before and it’s my husband who will say “iiii’m not sure you said (self-erasing comment) correctly, dear. *You* are the one who points out the attractive ladies to me, after all.” And I love him for it. He reminds me to stay authentic.
Overhearing a convo in my flat Gay flatmate: "lol I had a friend who said she was asexual, but then she also had a boyfriend" Straight flatmate: "doesn't that defeat the purpose of being asexual?" Gay flatmate: "I know right? I don't think it's real" My asexual self in the kitchen who had genuinely been debating coming out to them over the last month: "...."
Noooo I hate when this sort of things happen 😓 had a similar experience when I was considering coming out to a close friend, and one day the topic of bisexuality came and they were really biphobic, they had no problem with gays and lesbians, but they don't believe in bisexuality and think it's just a phase so I guess we're still in the closet 🤷🏻♀️
@@jasminepaisley1371 You could either call it extremely unlucky or lucky that almost every person I ever considered coming out to, within a short time period, says something bigoted that makes me realize they'd never accept me.
I had a similar experience, I was debating about coming out as Genderfluid to my mom. But I found out her and my step dad are rather hostile towards that kind of thing. So suffice to say, I'm not telling them. Even if I don't see them often, I just don't want to deal with the drama.
I think they genuinely misunderstood the concept of asexual. You can have a partner even if you are asexual, you just won't want to have 'adult fun time' with them.
@@andreaplatz_yt4086 I mean this isn't even necessarily true. Asexual just means that you don't experience sexual attraction. For a lot of ace people that can lead to not having sex, but some ace people consent to having sex with their partners for reasons other than being sexually attracted to them (because it makes their partners happy, because they enjoy feeling physically connected to them, etc). Even if many ace peole are sex repulsed, some aren't!
We actually have gender neutral bathrooms in my school. Even though I'm cis I'm really happy with it because it's really cool and probably helps a lot of people and you also don't have to wait in line for a specific bathroom. And also gender bathrooms make no sense and are ridiculous
As a pansexual, some of these really hit home with me. Cause I'm currently dating a woman and plan on marrying her, so a lot of people I encounter insist I'm straight. I've even had people in the LGBTQ+ community INSIST I'm a straight ally and that I identify as a pansexual just because I want a label. When other people in the community deny your identity, it hurts more than when someone outside of the community does it.
I'm omni and poly and I will say I'm happy for you guys in the comments and for the op, those people aren't true community members, dismiss them entirely, you are what you are, good day
Ikr it's called bisexual/pansexual because ur attracted to both/all sexes like wdym I'm straight just because I dated the opposite sex? Their sex is one of the many sexes I am attracted to so leave me alone pls
5:05 considering the author of Wonder Woman was a man within a polyamorous BDSM relationship with 2 women and a huge advocate for feminism through BDSM, that kind of panels are not surprising.
@@rickyroughton8098 I wouldn't say "inconveniently", first Wonder Woman comics were a literal bonding festival until the Comics Code hits and makes WW a powerless karate woman.
There are a _LOT_ of lesbian bondage scenes in the original Wonder Woman comics! Like, a looooooooot!! Most are also accurate for how ties work, even akin to shibari. Almost as though a live model was used to pose for it. Well worth a look. 😎
Omg the thumbnail reminds me of earlier. My pansexual boyfriend in class was told to sit up straight and got sent out of class for telling the teacher “but what if I’m not straight.”
The one about her being married to a man reminds me of one time kids in my class in high school got mad at me for suggesting a lady could have been bi instead of lesbian. Somehow the conversation came up of a lady divorcing her husband and then getting into a relationship with another woman. They immediately assumed she was a lesbian, but then I chimed in saying it was possible she was bi. They got super mad at me and I don't think I'll ever forget that. Especially when I was questioning if I was bi or pan back then.
I’m actually bisexual, and I’ve seen videos pressuring that being bisexual means you have to like boys, and girls. But bisexual just means liking more than one gender. For me, my case is that I like girls and non-binary people. Before you say anything, I know the term neptunic, but I feel more comfortable with this label so it’s what I go with. Don’t let people confine how you use labels :)
Yes! After seeing this video and all the support I think I'm going to use bisexual I've wanted to for a while I just don't feel comfortable with just gay or lesbian or neptunic and I love the bisexual flag, I am nonbinary and I am attracted to alot of the people under the nonbinary spectrum and was under the assumption that I wasn't aloud to be bisexual if I didn't like males
@@mushroomboi4662 I'm Nonbinary (figured out i was bi earlier) and I like the descriptor "attracted to two groups: my same gender (enby) and other genders" still two groups, still bi! Some would argue that I'm pan, but I've never vibed with pan and bi gets the point across. I'm technically bi romantic, but sometimes the simplest label is the easiest for others to understand and is the most comfy!
@@AskMia411 yes! I'm also non-binary and I think bisexual just explains my sexuality the best, it was definitely hard to figure out especially since not alot of people have exsplained how gender identity can affect sexuality, also cause I'm demisexual and demironantic, it took me until I was 16 to get my first ever crush on someone and I knew then for 2 years before I actually got a crush on them
I didn’t love that last post because it implied it was wrong for bi people to not be attracted to non-binary people. Like?? No, it’s not being “non inclusive” it’s that you’re not attracted to that gender, *what*
As a pan I always wondered if I was actually bi. Now I know that they are not the same but are just incredibly similar. I loved that break down comic at the end there. It really helped 💖💛💙
As a Bi person myself I've always wondered how to define the difference between Bisexuality and Pansexuality, there's a lot of controversy against Pansexuality that I don't really get, care to explain?
@@reinhardt8780 This is the way I've heard it: bisexuality is sexual attraction to two or more genders. Pansexuality is sexual attraction to people regardless of gender. So by that definition, pansexual is a more specific sexuality included under the umbrella of bisexual. Therefore, all pansexuals could also identify as bisexuals, but not all bisexuals are pansexual.
Bisexual is when u are attracted to more than one gender (gender plays a role in your attraction to the individual) but pansexual is being attracted to people regardless of gender (gender plays no rule in your attraction to someone) They are similar but not the same. Ps: I'm pansexual. 💖💛💙
If some more definitions would help, there is also another subtype of bisexual called omnisexual. Omnisexual people feel sexual attraction to all genders, but the attraction they feel is not *regardless* of gender, as it is for pansexual people. For example, an omnisexual person may feel more strongly attracted to one gender than another (but still do feel attraction for both), or the attraction may feel different depending on the gender of the other person. Therefore, omnisexual people also fall under the umbrella of bi, and can identify that way. Personally, I identify the most as omniromantic asexual, but for simplicity I would probably describe myself (correctly) as biromantic asexual to someone who didn't have familiarity with the more specific terms.
Thank's OT. Recently enough I finally truely realised that I'm Bisexual and the comic at the end where it explained it is the best explination I've ever seen and it made me so happy. And this video had Human1. All Humans1 video's are my favorite. I love seeing you two on screen together, nothing changes and yet everything seem special in those moments.
I just wanted to say bi, pan, omni and every single sexuality, except super straight, super gays or super lesbians because those aren't sexualities, is valid. you are all important. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
I was like good with my sexuality, watched the most of this video, paused for a sexuality crisis on if I was pan or Bi, watched the rest of the video and saw the last one you covered, then felt okay that I can just have a preference on being Bi rather than pan The whole Bi-cycle in just a short 20 minutes
10:04 had me DYING omg. OT seeing you take 3 tries to say 4 four words was awesome, and I love that you kept that in the video. And the subtitles made it even 10x better. Thank you for making me laugh, I needed that!! Also, I do realize I am a bit late to this video - I'm fairly new to your channel, but I've loved watching all of your videos and your personality!! Thank you for being an amazing creator :)
OH HELL YEAH! Although I do like the family bathrooms so we can change the babies. And honestly it'd be nice to have pooping stations and peeing stations separately.
There's no consensus here, but the interpretation that I use is: -Bisexual: attracted to multiple, but not all, genders, attracted to different genders for different reasons -Pansexual: attracted to all genders, more attracted to the person than the gender -Polysexual: attracted to multiple, but not all, genders, more attracted to the person than the gender -Omnisexual: attracted to all genders, attracted to different genders for different reasons There's a cool Venn Diagram that depicts these, really helps make things more clear.
@@crystalsoulysr6969 short answer, yes, it's totally valid. Longer example using math: * A polygon is any closed shape, no matter how many sides and their lengths; * A rectangle must have 4 sides and 4 angles of 90 degrees; * A regular polygon must have all sides with the same length, no matter how many sides; * A square must have 4 sides of the same length and 4 angles of 90 degrees. Not only is it correct to say that a square is a type of rectangle, of regular polygon and of polygon, sometimes it is even preferred. You don't always need (or want) exact accuracy and it is perfectly acceptable to choose the label you like better. In this analogy, bi = polygon, poly = regular polygon, Omni = rectangle and pan = square
Tom Scott makes a bunch of interesting videos about all kinds of things from super powers, to 90 second flights, to how movie explosions work, to whatever. Highly recommend.
I'm going to be 53 next month, and I've never dated a woman, just men. I didn't even realize that I'm bisexual until 2020. I was married to a man for 18 years, and hope to marry one (better suited to me) again one day. *I'm still bi!*
3:34 It's always amused me to think about how fucking relieved Chang must've been, and/or how often he might've suggested Mulan put her hair up like Ping after they were married. 😘
About the Tom Scott one: He made a test that paired 2 things together and made people vote which one was better. The things were chosen at random for each person. And Bisexuality was voted over Heterosexuality. It’s a good video, I’d recommend watching it. Stay safe and ya’ll are valid! :)
also ive never heard of allosexual before so now im going to look it up and learn something new! im glad this video gave me an opportunity to learn more about the LGBTQ+ community!
Kinda off topic, but I needed this positivity rn. I've been feeling kinda down lately, being stuck at home all summer with my conservative family and all, and just watching OT and be silly and laugh around this wonderful accepting comunity, just feels so... liberating.
The best way I’ve been able to explain labels is that nobody _discovers_ that they’re straight or bi or gay or whatever. You discover your sexual and romantic attraction to people, then use whatever label you like best. And sexuality is fluid, so your attraction might fluctuate, and you might decide to use a new label. That doesn’t make your previous identity any less valid. Sexuality isn’t cut and dry. The comic at the end broke it down perfectly, language is just complicated.
I love learning too :) I'm 29, and have two children. I want them to grow up in the safest enviroment possible with the knowledge they can come to me for anything without judgments. These videos provide entertainment and inform me on toxic norms and the correct language to use. :) Thank you x

As i feel like OT will appreciate this, Imma share my Dad Joke/Pick Up Line Correlation Theory here with you all. So, Firstly, let's talk about the common traits of these two things. A pick up line is usually a pun or other form of word play intended to be suggestive in nature. A dad joke is usually a pun or other form of word play intended to be humorous in nature. Now, let's set that aside and come back to it, and we'll talk about dad jokes, and language. Studies suggest (source forgotten after many years) that the word play inherent in these paternal jests is helpful in developing minds to learn how to examine words, and think about them beyond a surface level. As a result, it's speculated that the vic... children exposed to these jokes develop language better and quicker than those spared this suffering. Courtship behaviours in many species are intended to signal positive traits in your potential mate, to carry those into your off spring. Thus, pick up lines are the peacock feathers to signal a good lingual education for your offspring, and since these traits have been selected for for generations, it is a part of the courtship of many humans, even those with no intent to create spawn. Thank you for your time, and enjoy thinking too much about things in the future.
Yep, people seem to forget that evolution is the generational change over time of genetic AND memetic information. Genes are what is coded in our DNA, whereas memes are taught. Memetic information would be things like language, or skills like hunting or starting fires. These shape our lives just as much, if not more than genes do. They also aren't as limited as genes, since they don't need to be passed down through blood. Overall being able to show you have a more varied and diverse "memetic code" that you can pass down makes for a much more attractive partner, even among non procreative couples.

The Tom Scott video (i think, haven't watched in a while) was basically a bunch of random things put in a "is A better than B? you choose B. is B better than C? you choose B. etc." format, and amusingly, bisexuality scored pretty high.
I remember being 7 and cuffing my jeans in the mall and wearing these fake strawberry earrings (my mum gave them to me on my 6th bday), I saw these two girls staring at me and they looked like two proud moms. I only realized now that they were a couple.
Omg thank u so much for this. I have struggled for years thinking I wasn't actually bi, despite my attraction to many genders including nbs. I had convinced myself that I was either confused and straight or actully pansexual but calling myself bi always felt so comfortable and right like calling myself anything else wouldn't be correct. This video honestly helped me so much by saying bi's can like any gender ones like their own and all the ones unlike their own.
'The issue isn't my sexuality, it was my friends.' If a friend brings more bad than good into your life, let them go. You don't need them - you're beautiful and valid as you are 😁
I always thought his room is like a square and ends where the shelf ends. Seing Human1 walk in from the left was mindblowing 🤯 She either can phase through walls or the room is bigger to the left 🤔
That last comic was how I learned about the meanings to bi and pan and it helped me be a lot more comfortable in my labeling as bi, I felt like I was excluding enbies even though I am attracted to everyone, and showed me a better way of explaining it to others
13:07 - Main reason why I use "Bi" over "Pan": I don't know for sure if I'm actually attracted to ALL genders. BUT I don't know for sure if NOT attracted to ALL genders, so "Poly" (multiple, but not all genders) isn't exactly good either.
Exactly! When I think about it sometimes, I'm like yeah I don't care about the person's gender as long as they're a respectful person and we get along blabla, but then I don't know all genders and I don't know if I have preferences when it comes to certain genders, so I just go with "Bi" for now🤷🏻♀️ Maybe when I'll leave my country and get a chance to experiment more with my self and meet new people, I'll have a better understanding 🤗
You might want to consider "Omni" it's being attracted to all genders but not "gender blind" like pan. Omnis like people of all genders, pans like people regardless of gender
The explanation to why they use bi instead of pan in the last comic is actually why I use the term bisexual for myself, even though pansexual works for me too. Love to see it articulated ❤️
6:24 he says heterosexuals and homosexuals have a gravitational pull towards one gender while bisexuals have a gravitational pull towards multiple. Does that mean that I, an aroace, can fly?
Thankfully when I told my friends I was bi they just gave me a thumbs up and we went on with our day. That's honestly all I needed, they don't bug me about it and when we do talk about it it's mostly when we're joking around. I wish it could be like that for everyone, and anyone struggling with coming out or whatever it is I hope you get through it well. Good luck and have a good day

I'm bi so girls feel like 'ahh', guys feel like 'ohh', NB's feel like 'ehh', etc.
I always love seeing OT cover a bi subreddit, partially because I’m bi myself and like getting to learn our culture and see OT laugh, and also because his hair and lights often match the flag colors and it makes the happy chemicals flow
saying someone is straight or gay instead of Bi because you're currently or mostly dating one gender over another is like saying all single people are Asexuals. like how stupid would that be?!?!
...Sadly, some people really are that stupid.
I like your brain
Apparently pretty damn stupid because it's pretty much the thing brought up with me any my girlfriend both being bi, coming second to the bi=poly=threesomes assumption.
You know... That comparison actually gets better and better the more I think about it.
People assume that you don't have sex if you're either Ace or single
People assume that you're sad/something is wrong with you if you're either single or Ace
People assume you're lonely if you're either single or Ace
Some people even assume that you're unlovable for some reason, if you're either single or Ace
But even with these comparable factors, they're not the same thing. Just like someone being bi doesn't change no matter who they are or aren't dating
People often do think asexual just means single, or at most, allo but deliberately celebate.
I love this video.. I mean all his videos are amazing but this one I found especially interesting.. also me too
Can confirm. I watch Tom's videos and that describes me.
i'm a pansexual, sleep-deprived nerd who needs a hug.
Bob Belcher is the ultimate bicon. We needed a bi character that wasn't a supermodel level of conventional attractiveness, and we got this wholesome cinnamon roll.
I know, Bob the realistic goofy dilf the world needed. I love him.
Bob is best Fox-sitcom dad.
Daryll from Crazy ex-girlfriend is awesome too!
I mean, Hank Hill is his only real competition in that department.
I like to use bi to mean attraction to more than one gender in potentially different ways while pan is attraction to more than one gender in the same way. That is just how I like to define it.
As a bisexual person with horn rimmed glasses, a septum piercing, cuffed jeans and doc martens I feel very called out
My preference is almost entirely male, so I often just say I'm gay, cuz it's a lot faster than explaining that bi isn't 50/50 and for me is more 95/5
Sounds kind of like me with women, you might want to look into the term "androsexual" which is where you're attracted to masculinity rather than specifically men. I'm gynosexual myself - the same thing but femininity instead of masculinity.
you could also say you're homoflexible! (if you think it suits you)
Pfft, honestly, same. Except with the gay bit, I do just say that I'm bi.
Same
I just go with queer, since my attraction is kinda complicated
OT these are what cannolis are: Cannoli are Italian pastries consisting of tube-shaped shells of fried pastry dough, filled with a sweet, creamy filling usually containing ricotta-a staple of Sicilian cuisine. They range in size from 9 centimetres to 20 centimetres. In mainland Italy, they are commonly known as cannoli siciliani.
They are delicious, and also addicting.
They are incredibly addicting. I’m now craving cannoli. Thanks a lot T^T

There is a great tumblr post about Li Shang's "bisexual awakening" and basically, he was always surrounded by young, strong men. He knew he was attracted to them. What actually surprised him was that he fell in love with a *woman*.
Idk, I just think that's a neat headcanon.
My head canon is that Mulan transitions back to Ping and Li Shang is, in fact, gay
I’m bisexual and married to a man. I have found *me* erasing *myself* before and it’s my husband who will say “iiii’m not sure you said (self-erasing comment) correctly, dear. *You* are the one who points out the attractive ladies to me, after all.”
And I love him for it. He reminds me to stay authentic.
Your husband is an Icon

Noooo I hate when this sort of things happen 😓 had a similar experience when I was considering coming out to a close friend, and one day the topic of bisexuality came and they were really biphobic, they had no problem with gays and lesbians, but they don't believe in bisexuality and think it's just a phase so I guess we're still in the closet 🤷🏻♀️
@@jasminepaisley1371
You could either call it extremely unlucky or lucky that almost every person I ever considered coming out to, within a short time period, says something bigoted that makes me realize they'd never accept me.
The graph at 5:48 is actually so affirming, I really needed that, thank you.

5:05 considering the author of Wonder Woman was a man within a polyamorous BDSM relationship with 2 women and a huge advocate for feminism through BDSM, that kind of panels are not surprising.
Maybe the panel was just inconveniently placed in the tying process then, cuz the ropework looked like a layman's interpretation of bondage to me.

As a former Bisexual, that used to identify as pansexual (for many years), am happy to say we aren't enemies.
It is completely valid to identify with whatever term you want ❤❤ also I noticed ur pfp. Are you bigender too????
It really helped
💖💛💙
As a Bi person myself I've always wondered how to define the difference between Bisexuality and Pansexuality, there's a lot of controversy against Pansexuality that I don't really get, care to explain?
@@reinhardt8780 I’m not sure I am the best person to explain that to you. You’re best option would be to look up a video on it. Apologies
Bisexual is when u are attracted to more than one gender (gender plays a role in your attraction to the individual) but pansexual is being attracted to people regardless of gender (gender plays no rule in your attraction to someone)
They are similar but not the same.
3:14 This is legitimately what I thought a drag race was when I first heard the term.

There's no consensus here, but the interpretation that I use is:
-Bisexual: attracted to multiple, but not all, genders, attracted to different genders for different reasons
-Pansexual: attracted to all genders, more attracted to the person than the gender
-Polysexual: attracted to multiple, but not all, genders, more attracted to the person than the gender
-Omnisexual: attracted to all genders, attracted to different genders for different reasons
There's a cool Venn Diagram that depicts these, really helps make things more clear.
Could you link that diagram? It sounds very helpful.
Is it OK to just call myself Bi and accept that I don't care what gender they have?
@@crystalsoulysr6969 short answer, yes, it's totally valid. Longer example using math:
* A polygon is any closed shape, no matter how many sides and their lengths;
* A rectangle must have 4 sides and 4 angles of 90 degrees;
* A regular polygon must have all sides with the same length, no matter how many sides;
* A square must have 4 sides of the same length and 4 angles of 90 degrees.

What is the best thing is a video about making a list of everything then polling thier audience about it, and bisexuality outranked being straight
being straight is half as good a time as being bi

Just wanted to say, Switzerland fully legalized equal marriage today! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

13:07 - Main reason why I use "Bi" over "Pan":
I don't know for sure if I'm actually attracted to ALL genders.
BUT I don't know for sure if NOT attracted to ALL genders, so "Poly" (multiple, but not all genders) isn't exactly good either.
Exactly! When I think about it sometimes, I'm like yeah I don't care about the person's gender as long as they're a respectful person and we get along blabla, but then I don't know all genders and I don't know if I have preferences when it comes to certain genders, so I just go with "Bi" for now🤷🏻♀️
Maybe when I'll leave my country and get a chance to experiment more with my self and meet new people, I'll have a better understanding 🤗
You might want to consider "Omni" it's being attracted to all genders but not "gender blind" like pan. Omnis like people of all genders, pans like people regardless of gender
Poly requires the list to be a strict subset of all? I never knew that. I just knew that poly meant that it was more than one.

Your comments always make me smile and sometimes laugh. Always nice to see your comments. And being a gamer is awesome lol.
I thought you were ace... 🥺
@@angeldude101 You can be Biromantic so you can think “wow, that person is attractive” but not feel sexual feelings towards them.
For me it was actually one of my own ocs. And slowly from there on I realized that I kept thinking other girls were attractive and realized I am Bi.
@@angeldude101 what Mystery Wolf said. I'm not opposed to a relationship, but none of the intimacy that comes with it.
12:50 that chart is so good. Despite always having heard that bi is not exclusionary, I never understood how it couldn't be when bi means two, but pan means all. Having it mean both alike and non alike is so nice to hear it that way
The Tom Scott video was that he wrote like thousands of the most used nouns and a computer system gave people random pairs to decide what is better so a lot of people could decide together on what's the best thing ever, and bisexuality was in the top 10 if I remember correctly
2:05 Tom Scott is a British UA-camr that talks about science, linguistics, Computer science, geography and some other things you might not know.
I really appreciate his content and can only recommend it!
2:20 Tom Scott is a UA-camr that makes video essay style videos. Many of his videos involve him going to an interesting place and talking about it and interviewing people related to it. He also tends to make videos related to linguistics and computer science.
In that particular video, he made a poll to find out “what the best thing is.” He started by making a list of “everything real that a typical person would know about” by taking every Wikipedia page that had been translated to at least 50 languages and wasn’t a person or fictional, then made a poll where two random items are matched up against each other and a person is asked to pick which is better. He then released the poll to his audience and made a video about the results. The number one “best thing” was sleep. I don’t remember what position bisexuality got, but I do remember he mentioned it.
OT: *heart felt advice*
OT not a second later: OH! BOB'S BURGERS
Not important and very off-topic, but today I finally got my diagnosis for ADHD and Borderline Autism! I had assumed I had ADHD and was somewhere on the Autism spectrum for a while, but it's really nice to have confirmation, and it honestly explains a lot of the issues I faced growing up, as well as what I'm facing now at the age of 15
OT, you make me incredibly comfy and partially helped me figure things out for myself when I was struggling with issues about my identity for a long time. Thank you for being you
I loved the last post. I'm a bi enby and having that cartoon at the ready would have helped avoid several conversations that made me want to slam my head into a brick wall.
Tom Scott: dude that explains different stuff.
The vote video: what is the best thing of all things, like everything ever.
It's a good video, but I wont make spoilers, watch it yourself
