Hello everyone! I'm the creator of MICROWAVE-N, and it's truly humbling to have been ranked 1st place in this competition. I've been a fan of Armored Core for a long time, so it really makes me happy to be able to give something to the community that (hopefully!) they will enjoy. All of the other builds are great fun to play with too! The first build I saved was essentially CALLSIGN NULL with quad legs. And congratulations to all the contest winners! I'm particularly fond of BLIND RIOT for its unique playstyle, the Initial D AC got a chuckle out of me, KINGFISHER is remarkably similar to the AC I beat the game with, and MP4-23 looks stylish as hell. Another interesting detail about MICROWAVE-N is that it's basically the ONLY possible build that uses the 4 pulse guns with the VE-20B generator. As stated in the video, it only has 4 EN to spare with every other part having nearly the lowest-in-class EN Load. I originally didn't know if it would even be possible, but it came together so perfectly in the end. And it really does melt enemies, I S-ranked like 90% of the missions with it. That's why I love Armored Core, theorycrafting a build and actually having it pay off with its performance is what makes these games special to me.
@@kylehutchinson5016 Thanks! I used 2 parts for each segment. The first was a simple rectangle, the second was a circle. When you select a piece you can choose "edit gradient" and there's one that's a radial gradient that fades out at the edges. Then I just stretched it to roughly match the rectangle.
Amazing build! Did you start out by making the lowest EN load frame then units added on? You made this through sheer luck or extensive trial and error! Good job tourist ! 👏
@@rodjira1624 Thank you! I have tons of builds I love using. I S-ranked every mission, yet I keep coming back to design new builds lol. Definitely my favorite part of this game.
@@Diobrando-no1wy because the spanish is not originally from americas it is from spain and i know it is a joke question but did you know cambridge university is older than the aztec pyramid and its entire empire
Hopefully these are useful to some of you still going through NG+ and NG++ (which I'd highly recommend since there are new endings and a ton of unique missions!) I should also mention, these builds are mainly designed for PvE. They're not meta for PvP, by any means. That said, their unique playstyles can easily catch people off-guard in PvP! Are they the best builds in AC6? No, probably not. But I reckon they're still pretty good and it was fun trying all these new things. What are your best builds?
I LOVE the light, super fast builds. Those feel like they have the highest skill ceiling to me, at least in PVE. It’s extremely difficult to get a (mostly) Nachtreiher build through every single boss. Sometimes Kasuar head if I have the EN to spare for its attitude stability. I did have to switch a few times due to my own skill level, but I did get a NUMBER of the insanely difficult bosses with it. So I’m definitely going to be downloading a couple of these. Might try out some of the weird ones who knows ❤
Hi @VaatiVidya amazing quality video editing! Thank you for sharing these builds. Somewhat out of topic, have you played Lies of P? Would like to see/hear your opinions about it.
A quirk you didn't catch on was that you can charge left hand weapons while shielding. You cannot shoot, but you can charge. Pair a shield with a charging weapon such as a Laser Shotgun. My best build pairs this with a gatling gun/flamethrower. By sticking to a target and simply out-tanking everything, you generally win.
I likes how the cost of ammo in earlier armor core games sort of forced you to try energy weapons (since they had no ammo cost). Took me until NG++ to start using them in play with AC6.
Its actually quite the opposite, previous AC tittle forces you to not use energy weapons (aside from melees). Energy guns in previous armored core games, not only have very little ammo, but it also depletes your fuel.
@@marbeano That's not the case with AC games on PS1 and PS2, energy weapons in those have free ammo but take power from your generator to use. I never had a problem with their ammo counts. They're a decent way of getting more cash out of each mission. There's some exceptions iirc to free ammo in the later games, with plasma maybe.
That was one of my favorite things about the old games was the cost management aspect! You COULD bring a bazooka to a knife fight but that's like doordashing in a V8 muscle car lol. Check the brief to see what weapons you'll be needing worst case it with repair costs and you'll know what jobs pay what! Then you just go with your gut cus we all know sometimes missions have... Complications. The best laid plans. Lol
this video makes me very happy because it is tapping into the true potential of a mad engineer in their element showing just what you can do when you really think about the weapons and parts you are using and how to maximize them
"Terminal Rummy" is a similar concept to the build I used to clear ng++, with a few variants built around the saw, pile bunker and laser slicer. I was actually inspired by Ortus for the basic concept. It's very close to my ideal AC6 lightweight build, with a couple important tweaks.
So I started using the worker bee build, as it was basically what I had been using already, just with different frame parts. But, what I want to mention with that build, is that if you purge your shotgun, you can get 3 punches and a non-charged pile bunker off one stagger. It is a great feeling
Happy to see shout-outs to all the creators I stumbled upon while playing AC6 Like the idea of Vaati the All-knowing going through the same learning experience as the rest of us 😂 Great content as usual, thanks Vaati ❤️
I'm actually quite surprised, as I ended up making the competition winning build on my own, along with nearly exact replicas of the WORKER BEE, ALBINAURIC, and THROW TRUE. Most of what was different with mine were the exterior pieces. I haven't watched a ton of build videos, only a few from oroboro, but I've just been spending a crazy amount of time in the garage, and I find it funny how I came up with many of the same builds that were in this video.
Yep I literally realized yesterday that you could cram all 4 pulse weapons onto the 150 firearm spec generator, and there's only a few combinations of exterior parts that will work
lol I accidentally made a burnished gold/worker bee hybrid, but instead my shoulders are sweet 16 and the songbird, chaingun and pile bunker for arms. slower to stagger but it works very well against twitchy enemies
This might just be the best video I've ever seen for any FromSoft game, or any game at all. I love how much time you and the community put into this to make the best and the most fun builds. The icing on the cake was the google doc you made. I myself play AC6 on PS4 and can't afford the PS subscription needed to play online, which also makes me unable to download others builds or decals. The Google doc pics still give me the ability to see all the builds in full so I can recreate them myself. Thank you so so much for making this video. I just finished my NG+ playthrough (you should've seen my face when Walter appeared before me wanting to kick my ass), And was thinking about looking for some recomendations for builds to try. I've been a fan of yours for a long while now. I love your commitment to the content, and you can easilt see the community love you for it ❤
Great video m´man. Very nice of you to shoutout myndrrr and chrightt, i've also been enyoing their stuff and notice you comment on the manual aim build. What i like about this builds is that they are the refined version of ideas i had floting about but never commited to finishing up. I used a build with the pulse blade to stagger enemies while charging a linear rifle and that baton build is the culmination of that. Stay safe m'dude
Vaati, in case you didn't love the double trouble chainsaw enough, while charged it's also a shield, AND you can just walk into an enemy and they will start losing stagger and health.
Armored Core VI isn't just a game; it's an art form where every player becomes Picasso with pulse guns and quad legs. Cheers to creators like Vaati and every garage genius out there. Who knew game mechanics could be this wild and whimsical? Keep crafting, folks! 🎮🎨😂
One issue I wanted to bring to your attention before my comment. The XBOX code for the ALBINAURIC build doesn't seem to be working. Thank you for the weeks of work you, and your team put into this video and these builds. The effort and expertise involved is just so impressive. AC6 was one of my top 10 before today, but this video alone, because of the ability to share AC builds, has cemented it in my top 3. I spent an embarrassing amount of time in the Mech Warrior games back in the late 90s / early 2000s and lost the disks, and forgot about the genre for a long time. I've been on the lookout for a good Mech type game since, and AC6, along with your videos, and a few other creators, like the ones you mentioned in this video, have finally given me a favorite of mine I've been missing for over 20 years. Thanks to everyone involved. Awesome work!
I can easily say, double stun needle + double zimmermans (or gatlings) is not even comparable to any other build I tried, I found the game difficult borderline impossible at times, but with this build I easily got S ranks on almost every mission usually on first try (except a couple specific instances where another build was more optimal like double Songbirds for the escort mining ship NG++ mission)
my go to is a fat mech with just duel shotguns + dual miniguns so i can constantly do damage, if i need to adjust for a boss fight i'll keep a pulse gun on my back or plasma missile launchers.
With the new updates, just remember everyone that lightweights are WAY faster. I went from 353 boost speed to 373 with the latest patch, I can *strafe* a lot of player missiles now :3
My go-to build when things get problematic is simply called DAKKA. Details vary, but at its core are two assault rifles or machine guns of different types, the shoulder gatling cannon and the Kranich pulse cannon on tank treads with the Tiang-Qiang body and arms as well as the Basho head. Its gimmick is simple: Hit all four shoulder buttons and don't let go until the opponent is dead. Since you have four different weapon with different magazine sizes, the damage just never stops piling on, and since you have rapid-fire weapons with large magazines, a missed shot is irrelevant.
This is why I love FromSoft games, the community makes builds that have unique play styles that are vastly different. You can go for damage, speed, style flavor... You name it.
I'm surprised to not see a pure missile build. Been having great fun with the HML-G2/P19MLT-04 in both hands, and the biggest missiles salvos I can fit on the back. It's like watching a one-man performance of an old Robotech episode! it's great, if a bit eye-straining!
I love seeing creative builds, I'm always on the hunt for new setups to go through the game with! I'd love to see a sequel video to this with some builds that include parts from later in the game, there's some really interesting weapons you never see talked about or used.
I've seen so many "OP/easy mode" Core builds that rely on NG++ equipment with piles of specialized OS tuning chips. It's so great to see builds on this list are tailored to the gear available at certain chapters. It's also fun to see how far you can push the game even with those more pedestrian parts. One thing worth pointing out, though: It might be nice to see the original creators credited in the Google Doc. As it is, the doc just goes from your builds to their builds with no indication that some of them were cooked up by other players.
this exact thing was in silent line including AI training but realistically with the way modern game design works we're almost certainly never getting anything like that
@@jhfeather4802 Its been many yeas and I do remember something in Silent lines one could train a AI to kind of match your behavior. I don't remember anything about one's arena with multiple AI. But its true what you say about this being seen in modern gaming but it would still be awesome.
I suspected the same with the chainsaw. If you wait until stagger to swap in, you miss the attack; gotta charge up early and manage the enemy’s ACS Overload. My AC Thunderdome runs something similar but uses a bullet orbit on the right shoulder to replace the stagger pressure I lose when I swap into chainsaw on the left. It’s fantastic to see that others have come up with something both similar AND faster than my build! Gonna have to try this one!
I like how VaatiVidya drops a video and not even an hour goes by and he has over a thousand likes. I attribute this to his passion for FromSoft games manifested in his content and those of like mind loving it. I appreciate VaatiVidya myself. Keep up the good work.
Making a build based on my favorite ps2 game was when i knew this game was one of my favorites. Based on Shinobi i have 2 "kunai" weapons via the nail handgun, the laser launcher to represent the scroll power that shoots tracking green beams, and a plasma blade for the sword on an incredible fast but fragile 8500 AP build that excels in ground movement but struggles in the air just like the ps2 game. Even my legs have the same kick animation that you have in Shinobi. Its amazing how wildly different these two games are yet i was able to recreate it so closely
I'm feeling pretty good with how similar some of my builds are to these. The Microwave is pretty clever, though. The decals on it really bring it all together.
Just beat the game! Brand new AC fan this is my first title. Loved it. Challenging but surprisingly isn’t as difficult as the soulsbourne series I felt. I got through it by myself just fine and I had to summon for a lot of Elden ring. Had a great time. From software really knows how to make ‘em. Never would’ve even considered buying this game without you Vayti!!! Thank you:)
I should mention here that TKGP made an arena mod (PC only) that features AC's from the community, along with some truly amazing emblem designs and made up lore for their AC. Definitely worth a play if you want some more Armored Core 6 arena fights!
Honestly for me I had the most fun building a nimble AC that could do constant pressure, I enjoy being aggressive in games while avoiding any counters so I built my main AC around that fact. As this was my first Armored Core game it took me a while to truly build an AC that I could be proud of. It was only after unlocking the laser pistols and plasma launchers did I know I had the right offense, I could stagger shoot the pistols to have the constant dps that I wanted and use the plasma launchers as a quick dps boost to either put them in stagger or hit them while staggered, essentially my burst option. I didn't get the movement down until my first fight with the Ibis series AC underground. That's when I experimented with legs outside of the basic bipedal finding the reverse joint to be exactly what I needed. Once I equipped them the build for me was perfect, I honestly could make another build that fits my playstyle any better. The absolute joy of experimenting with both your playstyle and crafting a mech to match that is something that I haven't been able to find in any other game. Thank you so much for the in depth reviews you did on Armored Core back before 6 released, while I had planned on buying AC6 anyway because I trust Fromsoft to make quality games. You truly gave me the confidence that I'd enjoy the game so I bought it as soon as I could instead of waiting like I usually do.
It’s still so surreal that we’ve come to a time where my favorite Soulsborne content creator is making content on one of my favorite series, for both the obvious overlap reasons but also all the fun and unique thing AC offers. What a time to be alive and enjoy FromSoftware games
FOUR EN load left? Okay that's actually damned impressive. I've heard it said that "anyone can make something work; it takes a real engineer to make something that JUST BARELY works." Also, as far as I'm concerned, the nachtreier legs ARE reverse joint. Look at them. LOOK AT THEM.
That delayed shock stun is something I ended up using for a build I called "Sparky", which centered pretty much entirely on shock based weapons. I used the shock needle shoulder gun used to fight ice worm, where essentially after hitting a charged attack with the melee weapon, I'd immediately shoot the needle, this usually caused a full stagger and shock proc, which I then followed up with a full combo of the melee weapon. In the other hand, I ended up using an smg and shock pistol I would swap between. Is it OP? Kind of in some circumstances (AC fights dying well before they could heal once), but more than anything it was just fun to really mix things up and play with the mechanics in a unique way. The strongest build I ended up making though is one I called "Boom Stick". It's just quad shotguns (2 zimmermans, 2 of the other starter shotguns). Not that inspired, but it was really fun learning how to shoot them all optimally while still keeping track of good movement. The key is to shoot a shotgun, swap it for another, and then shoot the other hand's shotgun, swap it for another, repeat. Doing this maximizes output, since shooting prevents shoulder swapping on the other side for a brief time. It's honestly just a ton of fun and feels really cool with some practice. To top it all off, it basically makes any boss super easy, since they're constantly getting stunned and taking massive damage... The shotguns should really be nerfed.
Later you can upgrade the starter shotguns for the six shooter shotgun, it actually deals more damage than the Zimmermans if you shoot them from point blank, so you have a nice loop of zimmerman from medium range -> assault boost -> six shooter -> kick .
I loved the Worker Bee build and have been tweaking with it a lot. My main goal was to keep the Lance + other melee punish setup. What I'm at right now that I really like is the Lance + Pile Bunker and the Sweet Sixteen. I like the Wueger but its recoil results in long recovery time while the sweet sixteen seems to have faster recovery after firing. So Lance + Sixteen + Bunker works on almost anything not just larger enemies. The Zimmerman also works but in my testing in the training room the lance moves you so close that the Zimmerman can shoot over an AC shoulder and whiff, you can pull back slightly to land the Zimmerman shot but the timing is weird and the sweet sixteen doesn't seem to have that issue.
I just finally got AC 6 this week and this was an extremely helpful guide for me. Vati has a way of breaking things down hat makes me realize why my builds aren’t working 🙏🏽
That shield has almost cost me a controller. I just can't beat it... too small a room to manoeuvre, camera goes all of the place so I can't see which move its telegraphing... and that shield is too powerful.
beat balteus is like 4-5 tries while learning the burnished gold build. very grateful that i did not have to resort to using the armored cheese builds i have seen everyone else suggest. cheers bro!
The build that carried me through both NG+ cycles was essentially a heavy firepower light AC. Double Arquebus Needles with a plasma gun and a bazooka (or laser blade if needed). The rest would be spent optimizing propelling speed as much as possible. The way it would work in game is that I would dodge frantically until I get a good angle to double shoot the needles at close range, if I got the hit, I could then follow up with the bazooka for guaranteed posture breaks and easy plasma damage. And the best part, if the bazooka hit was delayed, the needles would charge back up during the posture break for gross damage. I demolished every AC encounter in NG+ 1 and 2, and more often than not they would explode on the second posture break all the way from half health. AC6 was my first game of the genre, I sucked real hard in the initial hours, malded for hours on Arquebus Balteus until this build clicked and my efficiency ascended to unreal levels. God it was a fun game.
Its rather finicky but, Zimmerman, the chainsaw, and duel kinetic drones is an incredible build. Zimmerman and drones build up ACS load and the chainsaw does *monster* damage on a charged hit. Gonna take it into PVP tonight once I'm home most likely
I know people are gonna call it cheese but what's nuts is the meme Zimmerman's I didn't use at all until after all three endings and all parts collected. I used solely the songbirds and hu ben Gatling guns. Eventually when I was still struggling to s rank I switched to two electric needle launchers and the Lazer lance plus a minigun on the arquebus heavy bi ped build and it worked for most things.
I am quite impressed I managed to come up with pretty much the same melee build on my own. Only difference being that I use missiles instead of drones, because they serve the same purpose of making enemies dodge, but they are more versatile because of their higher impact and multilock. So you have a way to clean up groups of small enemies quickly
I've made a ton of crazy builds that rely on combos very much like that BLIND RIOT build at this point. Hell, I've made so many builds I even copied the quad AC from the Reveal Trailer for AC6. I've made builds of all the hounds Walter sends down to Rubicon to pave the way for 621. So I made 617, 619 and 620, even made a build for the elusive 618 who supposedly gets killed by Sulla. The loadout I use for 618 is based on gameplay screenshots released by the devs. I've basically committed myself to making AC's that are "lost." I even made builds of the mercenary licenses you scavenge in the Illegal Entry mission; Monkey Gordo, Thomas Kirk and G7 Hakra. Oh, and I even made a version of NINE-BALL. Man, there are so many builds I would want to send in for another challenge. But I'm really glad to have seen that BLIND RIOT build. It gives me a couple ideas for a DREDD build. 😂 Anyways, here are some builds that I would like to share with yall. :) Hound 618: UFEG6G29J6VK Reveal Trailer Quad AC: GPQPYFQSYZHW NINE-BALL: PUEA92YRAMJA CAROLUS REX: 9TXNWGPFV7YA KVASIR: QYLFY4FZZXNQ ANTAGONIST: LRZ1DT3V203N And these are all on steam. I'd love to share more, but that would be one hellova list. These are all tested in PvP and performs quite well in 1v1 duels. Though, winning with Hound 618 will require some extra effort and skill.
King fisher reminds me of jehuty from ZOE it’d be cool to see a dedicated Jehuty and Anubis design as well as an EVA approximation either one would be cool but O1 would be soo dope
A wild AC McLaren MP4-23 appeared and I got giddy. I downloaded some WipeOut emblems someone made, am gonna try recreate some racing liveries with them. Having sponsors on an AC seems so fitting the the hyper/post capitalist dystopia that is the Armored Core universe.
If there is a "best" build in the game, then the game is flawed. But seeing you make these many different builds with this much effort? I have to say it is inspiring. Good work!
Only one build (and small alterations of it) got me consistently through any boss. A highly mobile build with 2 of the aks (the burst rifle that fires single shots with one button press) and 2 of those barrage missile things that kinda look like wings. No gimmick and really simple attack inputs that allow you to focus on dodging and simply attacking by muscle memory. So many weapons do more damage and stuff but the burst rifle fires fast and hits consistently with plenty of ammo and builds up ACS strain so well, meanwhile the constant staggered barrage of rockets puts constant pressure on the enemy.
Love your content for the souls series. Congrats on your success. I love AC but I'd like to say I have always felt that AC builds should always be based on your personal style and not on the meta of the winds of internet. These kinds of the best builds always rubbed me the wrong as they create conformity and not individuality that AC provides.. great content as a whole.
I like to run a light frame AC with reverse joint legs. I use two laser rifles and two shoulder mounted 3 cell plasma launchers. Standard boost speed is 350 with around 600 in a dash. Optimal range is 215. I use the reverse joints for the extra boost bc they jump when you dash. Allows me to move swiftly and steadily maintain my optimal distance from my target. Got that bad girl sleek like a Ferrari. Red and black with gold accents. I call her my "Crimson Regalia"
There’s actually no clear photo or details of the builds on the Google doc so if you’re a new player, you’re screwed and have to either squint and guess the correct parts from the photos or pause the video to look at the AC and hope that you have the correct parts purchased.
Other people: Check out this cool interesting build I made. I theorycrafted for 3 weeks and came up with the perfect balance of offense and survival while pushing my EN and weight limits! Me: So if I use 2 miniguns in my hands and 2 miniguns on my shoulders I can have 4 miniguns shoot at the same time, right?
I created something very similar to your worker bee. It focuses on using the laser lance to setup the plasma thrower for huge damage. Right hand is a pulse gun, right shoulder is the diffuse laser cannon used the same way you use the little laser shotgun. It uses reverse joint legs to attack from above like final fantasy lancer. It was my go to on any mission that challenged me my first time through the game.
These are so cool!! I know it’s not high-skill: but after beating Balteaus with “Rook” (basically the starter AC but two missile pods and a new generator), I built “Dakka” (heavy biped legs, high QB thruster, dual Gatling guns, and dual songbirds). My only real variation was adding dual stun needles or replacing a Gat with the starter sword.
Thank you. A variant of your pulse/shotty one finally got me through first Balteus, second try. Feels amazing to play and stronk. Tried a couple of other internet builds and, while ok, didn't cut it for my playstyle. ty again.
The cutscene at the end of the video from the real raven fight. With raven saying "lets see how long you can fly on borrowed wings" with the visor coming down into place is one of coolest cutscenes in any game ive played. Theres a few cutscenes in this game i never skip and this is the top one
I was stuck on balteus so this helped out a lot thanks but if anyone sees this hoping to beat balteus with your build please note in a patch it made the en consumption of the pulse cannons (or whatever they’re called) higher so you can only equip one I recommend subbing the other one out for a laser sword
0:12 For Microwaven I have 2 small tweaks that made it feel way better to me. Swap the Ocellus FCS for the Abbot, and replace the Crawler legs with the Basho ones. Better targeting at mid-range from the Abbot, which Microwaven’s weapons are all effective well into, and even beyond. The legs provide marginally worse speed and quickboosts, but what I would consider to be a small but noticeable improvement in attitude stability, AP, defenses, and jumps Edit: I just ent back and first-try S ranked the Balteus mission with this
Slap Harris linear rifles on a light tank tread with needle shoulder weapons. Use the close range FCS you can find hidden in the depth exploration missions (the one with the highest close range targeting). Use the arms with the best firearms specs. You will now almost always hit something at close range. Charge up the rifles. Double hit and anything in the game will be instantly staggered. Follow up with needle shots for massive damage. If you don't hit with the charge shots, you can always use the needles as filler shots to maintain pressure and not let the enemy exploit your downtime while you charge up another shot (and if, for example, you hit with one charge shot, a needle will probably instantly stagger them as well). This build basically clears the entire game incredibly easily. And it stomps in PVP too unless you meet an enemy specialized in super high flight. It's like having all the strengths of the Zimmerman, with none of the weaknesses. And you also got the option of rapid fire instead of charge shots if needed, as well as the weapon actually working on longer ranges (although you might be a bit inaccurate if you went with the super short range FCS). There are lots of other minute details to this setup, for example you can use rapid fire shots before a charge hit when an enemy is staggered since your charge shot will overheat you anyways. But the rest you can figure out yourself. I PVP'd for a while after full clearing the game, but after a while I stopped playing as people would just nope out of any lobby I joined, lol. EU playerbase might be a bit smaller than US.
My build, which carry my few times till NG+ from start from my 9 walkthroughs was simple Melander C3 set with dual Ransetsu-RF and dual direct launch rocket lunchers. Only once I change them to a vertical ones for Wallclimber mission boss. At chapter 2 I got 10 rocket lauchers and don't change them till NG++. Then I got Trueno! And its finished my build from weapons perspective. Other changed was at lvl 7 log hunter, when you got reverse joint Mind Beta legs and all other body parts from our friend Rusty (Alba set). This build is build around speed and kiting an enemies, kepping you at comfort 250m, and constant stagger them becouse of deadly accuracy and low recoil of Ransetsu-RF. Half of the bosses don't use most of their attacks (like melees) till get close to you, so you just don't suffer from them at all and mostly finish mission without using any repair kits. Dual Ransetsu-RF with fully upgraded kinnetic OS dmg give you ability to insta kill (one shot from both guns) almost all regular enemies, that making get this sweet S rank in first try on all of that "tower defense" or "clear them all" missions. Hope you will try something like that by yourself! ;)
the gospel of the chainsaw is spreading, slowly but surely I discovered the same strategy that the Rummy build uses for my main AC build, main differences were a right hand zimmerman cause I'm a pleb, paired with a left hand duckett for small fry (or to just keep stagger up), and truenos on the right back (along with different frame parts). overwhelming firepower is one thing, but going for that strategic stagger and ending a fight before an enemy even has a chance to pop a repair kit is so satisfying.
The build that got me through all 3 versions of the campaign, with the occasional weapon swap, was the gunslinger build. 2 burst machine guns and 2 vulcans on the back, with everything else specced for speed. The fights were close range circle strafes and kicks. The only case when I switched weapons was for getting S in missions where I knew I had to deal with shields, like Balteus.
I know; I'm on PS4, so I was prepared to be really impressed, and with Vaati's builds, I am. They look exactly the same as in the video, as far as I can tell. But the contest winners have no decals on PS4/PS5 evidently, which is a pretty big bummer. The decals on those builds looked so cool in the video, but I guess it's not meant to be for lowly console scum like me, sigh...
I had a similar build to the “worker bee” but instead I had the the sweet sixteen in the weapon bay with just fists in the right hand and the jumpy fast legs, got S rank on any ac vs ac (or multiple ac) missions. If you get good at melee canceling you can basically just zoom at targets and just constantly melee and ACS overload them. The fists are surprisingly effective so if you’re low on carry weight, consider leaving one hand empty and putting your right weapon on your shoulder.
Seeing so many interesting and diverse playstyles and their ACs is really cool. I'm barely through Chapter 3, but I've found myself overly reliant on one build that has yet to really fail me. That being said, I still give some consideration to other builds styles, and ended up making the Burnished Gold on my own. The real kicker was how fun and surprisingly effective it was, despite the wildly different playstyle I had to take on with it. I'm a first time AC player, and have so far been loving what I've seen, and I'm excited to do so many playthroughs with so many playstyles
I recently came up with a really dumb build that’s main gimmick is to run a extremely lightweight build with both the stun baton and laser dagger. Coupled with the basho, the big coral generator for 10 dashes, and the best booster for melee tracking and you get a build that’s borderline impossible to get out of melee range of it. (It can pull you to a opponent that’s 3-4 dashes away from you in like 2-3 seconds). I call it either the unga bunga or beserk build. Couple this with laser drones to waste the opponent’s dashes and either a high stagger or large aoe weapon in your other hand to either keep consistent stagger or to randomly fire at a range where they can’t get out of the blast radius and take 70% of their stagger bar. The build works best on people who impulsively dash because they’ll waste their dashes while panicking to fruitlessly get away. But “if” someone stays cool headed they could pretty easily do a hp race with their weapons and win from raw numbers alone. But it’s still pretty funny to kill somebody with a stun baton.
Before we start, my favorite is Duel pistols, Duckette and the Lazer pistols. One reloads while you fire the other, so you never run out of ammo, duck shreds poise and Pistols pump out damage, works like a charm, keeps you firing, your quick as hell, but using lighter arms means you can still have Decent armour without Getting sluggish.
the build you started with is the exact thing i built after seeing you stream your own bubble boi. its a great build! glad you found and enjoyed it :) many of us energy wep favourite fans have made many builds with that generator and core. lmk if you want me to send you some builds! i have some very cool unique ones. from 17k ap to 415 speed. from kinetic one shot to laser yoyo show! hahah. cheers mate
Definitely worth the win. But how did you get that blurred gradient effect around the numbers?
@@kylehutchinson5016 Thanks! I used 2 parts for each segment. The first was a simple rectangle, the second was a circle. When you select a piece you can choose "edit gradient" and there's one that's a radial gradient that fades out at the edges. Then I just stretched it to roughly match the rectangle.
I would love to see what more builds you come up with because the microwave-N is just 👌🏾to good
Amazing build!
Very nice to see an array of well thought out and thematic builds with synergy! And thanks for the shoutout, Vaati! ❤
love your vids man
chrightt you carry the numbers scenes of these games yknow that
Nah, thank you for helping the fandom with builds!
Now lets see ya' LP the earlier games and provide builds for them too lmao
You are seriously underrated, thank you for the numbers breakdowns
your videos allways pack a lot of good information, thanks for such hard work mate

Hopefully these are useful to some of you still going through NG+ and NG++ (which I'd highly recommend since there are new endings and a ton of unique missions!)
I should also mention, these builds are mainly designed for PvE. They're not meta for PvP, by any means. That said, their unique playstyles can easily catch people off-guard in PvP!
Are they the best builds in AC6? No, probably not. But I reckon they're still pretty good and it was fun trying all these new things. What are your best builds?
So funny how you pronounce Nachtreiher.
@@FSVR54speed build with 2 sweet 16s and duel pistols
I LOVE the light, super fast builds. Those feel like they have the highest skill ceiling to me, at least in PVE. It’s extremely difficult to get a (mostly) Nachtreiher build through every single boss. Sometimes Kasuar head if I have the EN to spare for its attitude stability. I did have to switch a few times due to my own skill level, but I did get a NUMBER of the insanely difficult bosses with it. So I’m definitely going to be downloading a couple of these. Might try out some of the weird ones who knows ❤
I wish I knew about the mech submissions sooner. The video is interesting.
Hi @VaatiVidya amazing quality video editing! Thank you for sharing these builds.

So, with the chainsaw build the key is to edge a lot and make sure not to release prematurely? Got it.
LMAO you just gave me a very silly paintjob idea.

Lol
You likes that, ey, dawg?…
😐
Everyone can see these. Do better.
this video makes me very happy because it is tapping into the true potential of a mad engineer in their element showing just what you can do when you really think about the weapons and parts you are using and how to maximize them
"Terminal Rummy" is a similar concept to the build I used to clear ng++, with a few variants built around the saw, pile bunker and laser slicer.
Happy to see shout-outs to all the creators I stumbled upon while playing AC6
Like the idea of Vaati the All-knowing going through the same learning experience as the rest of us 😂
Great content as usual, thanks Vaati ❤️
I'm actually quite surprised, as I ended up making the competition winning build on my own, along with nearly exact replicas of the WORKER BEE, ALBINAURIC, and THROW TRUE. Most of what was different with mine were the exterior pieces. I haven't watched a ton of build videos, only a few from oroboro, but I've just been spending a crazy amount of time in the garage, and I find it funny how I came up with many of the same builds that were in this video.
Yep I literally realized yesterday that you could cram all 4 pulse weapons onto the 150 firearm spec generator, and there's only a few combinations of exterior parts that will work
Congrats man
i actually kinda hate a build video, because the true fun of ac is making that sinergy build and tackle that mission optimally
lol I accidentally made a burnished gold/worker bee hybrid, but instead my shoulders are sweet 16 and the songbird, chaingun and pile bunker for arms. slower to stagger but it works very well against twitchy enemies
Same thing happened to me. It started as a meme build and then it just shredded everything
I love your commitment to the content, and you can easilt see the community love you for it ❤
You don't need PS Plus to download AC's and Decals. Just go to the title screen and log in
Great video m´man.
Thanks for the shoutout bb 😍
Vaati, in case you didn't love the double trouble chainsaw enough, while charged it's also a shield, AND you can just walk into an enemy and they will start losing stagger and health.
Big respect for shouting out smaller creators like Myndrrr and Chrigght! They've done some good stuff and deserve recognition
Also Oroboro TV!

Will definitely look into the edging build for NG++, looks good
I can easily say, double stun needle + double zimmermans (or gatlings) is not even comparable to any other build I tried, I found the game difficult borderline impossible at times, but with this build I easily got S ranks on almost every mission usually on first try (except a couple specific instances where another build was more optimal like double Songbirds for the escort mining ship NG++ mission)
my go to is a fat mech with just duel shotguns + dual miniguns so i can constantly do damage, if i need to adjust for a boss fight i'll keep a pulse gun on my back or plasma missile launchers.
Agree
It's already proved.
Dual Zimmermans and dual stun needles are the best in the game by far.
How to beat cell in 3 easy steps
1: dual stun needle launchers
2: dual zims
3: RIP AND TEAR UNTIL IT IS DONE
@@youtubewanderer3347 I think gatlings are better than zimms
I would be great for one to be able to create one's Arena and put these AI (Allmind) controlled ACs to fight against. Similar to AC: Master of Arena.
There was recently a mode released that kinda does that. Not Vaati's but a buncha fan made AC. The expanded Arena mod I think it's called?
this exact thing was in silent line including AI training but realistically with the way modern game design works we're almost certainly never getting anything like that
@@jhfeather4802 Its been many yeas and I do remember something in Silent lines one could train a AI to kind of match your behavior.
Awesome buils. big ups to those who submitted builds in the competition. the decal work on those are mind blowing!
These AC Builds are dope! Got all three of the endings! Armored Core VI has got to be one of the BEST titles FromSoftware has created!
It's going back to their roots. Of course it's good.
Fr, I'm usually more of a fantasy person but I think I like AC more than any of the souls games
Big love for you shouting out other UA-camrs. That's the energy I love to see 😊
Vaati really savored the game before going into the lore. Looking forward to it.
Mods only for PC version sadly 😢
I've heard it said that "anyone can make something work; it takes a real engineer to make something that JUST BARELY works."
Also, as far as I'm concerned, the nachtreier legs ARE reverse joint.
Armored Lore when???
I just finally got AC 6 this week and this was an extremely helpful guide for me. Vati has a way of breaking things down hat makes me realize why my builds aren’t working 🙏🏽
If only we could use the HC's shield in our left hand, that would be fun for a shield build
That shield has almost cost me a controller. I just can't beat it... too small a room to manoeuvre, camera goes all of the place so I can't see which move its telegraphing... and that shield is too powerful.
beat balteus is like 4-5 tries while learning the burnished gold build. very grateful that i did not have to resort to using the armored cheese builds i have seen everyone else suggest. cheers bro!
This is the game that I neglected stats for Aesthetics
Gonna take it into PVP tonight once I'm home most likely
im in LOVE with the police themed build and the worker bee, they are fantastic ideas, great work on this competition, cheers to all involved!
Hopefully you can dig deep on the lore for Lies of P. Love to see a video on that!
This video inspired me to see what I could come up with, wick wasn't much, but I discovered you can achieve infinite flight by punching the air

@@VaatiVidya No worries, we want both games' lore so all good. Would love it if you give LoP a chance man whenever you got the time.
So many great games, so little time.
Anyways, here are some builds that I would like to share with yall. :)
Hound 618: UFEG6G29J6VK
Reveal Trailer Quad AC: GPQPYFQSYZHW
NINE-BALL: PUEA92YRAMJA
CAROLUS REX: 9TXNWGPFV7YA
KVASIR: QYLFY4FZZXNQ
ANTAGONIST: LRZ1DT3V203N
And these are all on steam. I'd love to share more, but that would be one hellova list.
These are all tested in PvP and performs quite well in 1v1 duels. Though, winning with Hound 618 will require some extra effort and skill.
I'm sad my build didn't make it in the video but happy for the winners. It's always nice to see Vaati talk about his own builds too
What is your build about?
Here's my fav build, 2 HU-BEN, 2 ice worm, head: tian-qiang, core & arms: firmeza, legs: vp-422. Booster:NGI, FCS: WLT, generator NGI. The load weight is dialed in. Speedy glass cannon
Good work!
Can you pls make a video about lise of p lore? I know its not from fromsoftware but still it's a good game 🌚😊
So many weapons do more damage and stuff but the burst rifle fires fast and hits consistently with plenty of ammo and builds up ACS strain so well, meanwhile the constant staggered barrage of rockets puts constant pressure on the enemy.
bro vaati where have you been?
I thought I was creative with my grasshopper build, but I was proven wrong by seeing some of the amazing designs and synergies here!
Thank you so much for including a code for the builds on every platform. ❤
Where are the codes at?
Please people, like this comment: Vati when do we get a Armored Core 6 lore Video, pleaaaaase 😢.
im using the burnished gold bodyparts, but then combined it with the Vvc-760PR plasma rifles and the Vvc-70VPM plasma launchers, its insane
Tried a couple of other internet builds and, while ok, didn't cut it for my playstyle. ty again.
Huge W for creating the builds on all platforms.
The legs provide marginally worse speed and quickboosts, but what I would consider to be a small but noticeable improvement in attitude stability, AP, defenses, and jumps
Edit: I just ent back and first-try S ranked the Balteus mission with this
Slap Harris linear rifles on a light tank tread with needle shoulder weapons.
Hope you will try something like that by yourself! ;)
Guild Wars box art on the shelf, truly a person of culture.
the gospel of the chainsaw is spreading, slowly but surely
I discovered the same strategy that the Rummy build uses for my main AC build, main differences were a right hand zimmerman cause I'm a pleb, paired with a left hand duckett for small fry (or to just keep stagger up), and truenos on the right back (along with different frame parts). overwhelming firepower is one thing, but going for that strategic stagger and ending a fight before an enemy even has a chance to pop a repair kit is so satisfying.
This gives me hope to finally beat the last boss, thank you!
Highest order of respect for making share ids for each platform on the builds.
Really digging the apt themes and the practicality of these builds! You nailed it, Vaati and the people who made these builds!
I'm happy to see such detailed videos from one of my favorite UA-camrs
Seeing so many interesting and diverse playstyles and their ACs is really cool. I'm barely through Chapter 3, but I've found myself overly reliant on one build that has yet to really fail me. That being said, I still give some consideration to other builds styles, and ended up making the Burnished Gold on my own. The real kicker was how fun and surprisingly effective it was, despite the wildly different playstyle I had to take on with it. I'm a first time AC player, and have so far been loving what I've seen, and I'm excited to do so many playthroughs with so many playstyles
Great, I've been wanting to try out some fun build suggestions. Looking forward to getting all that juicy lore analysis too.
You can also run the highest energy weapon engine for better coverage and burst down potential in exchange for 7 dashes instead of 10.
Microwave looks dope, I'll make it on my XBox play through
I've been absolutely LOVING Oroboros pvp series for AC6. Dudes easily one of the best at pvp in this game.
the build you started with is the exact thing i built after seeing you stream your own bubble boi. its a great build! glad you found and enjoyed it :) many of us energy wep favourite fans have made many builds with that generator and core. lmk if you want me to send you some builds! i have some very cool unique ones. from 17k ap to 415 speed. from kinetic one shot to laser yoyo show! hahah. cheers mate
