Mispap did a great job creating so many of these cinematics. Which scenes were some of your favourites? I'll add them to the list below: 35:13- Attack the Dam Complex Fight Scene 1:52:20- Balteus Fight Scene Ice worm fight-3:21:26 Intercept the Redguns-3:49:03 3:53:43- Fighting Rusty 4:08:09- Walter’s Legacy
Honestly, I don't know what to say about this video. It's been a constant project for so many months that it's going to feel strange now it's complete. I understand it's a big ask to expect anyone to watch 5.5hours of Armored Core 6 content, but I personally love coming back to long-format videos over time, so I hope the UA-cam algorithm serves this up to you a few times so that you can keep coming back. However, if you don't have time, I'd recommend at least watching the endings in Chapter 5! Those are some of the most cinematic, impactful moments, and the new songs from Disc 3 of the official soundtrack go hard. Thank you all for your patience as this project came to fruition. We certainly won't be doing another 5.5hr lore video any time soon :P
This was by far the largest project I've ever had the chance to work on, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Working with Vaati and Mispap1 has been a fantastic experience, and I think this video turned out even better than we were all hoping for! I want to give a MASSIVE thanks to the team for bringing me on for this, and, of course, a huge thanks to all of you that have been patient regarding both Vaati's and my own upload schedules in the lead-up to this. I hope we're all on the same page in that it was 100% worth it in the end 🙏
I like to believe it's a communal joke on rubicon that whenever they encounter rummy, they only beat him down and let him live after, because he's so pathetic he's funny. Everyone including Balam, Arquebus, all the dosers, and even the PCA are in on it. Raven, being a newcomer, wasn't in on the joke and ruined it by killing him.
Thanks for watching everyone! Working on this video really gave me a deep appreciation for AC6 and its characters, so I hope our retelling of this epic story can reveal things you missed and help you appreciate this amazing game even more. Would love to hear which mission was your favorite so lmk down below😁
The Balteus fight, for its pure brutality and unforgiving nature (Day 1 Balteus that is) The Ice Worm for the Plot Twist, knowing what Coral *truly is* And any of the Three Final Missions for setting your fate..and your overall morale for the Coral
Either the Strider or Ice Worm. The scale of both is incredible, and fighting the Ice Worm with a team is quite the spectical. I just wish the Strider had a bit more going on gameplay wise. It's a little too simple. So probably go with Ice Worm as favorite because it's more mechanically complex. I just like really big monsters and mechs. Wish they would add some Kaiju to fight lol.
I'm stuck between the rusty fight and walter.. I think the final FINAL mission has stayed with me a long time.. honestly, my favorite mission by far is the one where Freude shows up and makes his reveal.. I still use him as a test for pvp builds to see if they're good lol
My favorite still has to be the allmind final fight purely for the dialogue. Iguazu telling us to save a spot for him in hell when he kills us, the disturbing realization that allmind has assimilated every pilot you've met into a disgusting amalgamation of ai generated versions of their consciousness, all summed in the simple statement of "there's a lot of us inside of me, dregs with a grudge".
You're probably not gonna answer this, and you might have mentioned it somewhere I haven't seen, but are you planning on playing ac6 on your channel? There's no reasonable way to expect you to play the older ac games, but I would really like to see you play this one. It would also be cool to see you play all 3 endings
@@VaatiVidyaunironically though, I haven't played any of these games (and don't really have an interest to, not my genre) but you make the lore and stories and details so incredibly engaging and easy to watch it's a ridiculously powerful skill you've honed, hats off to you
So I only just noticed that all of Ayre’s dialogue has a high pitched squeal tone on the back end. It’s easier to hear at the end of her sentences since it trails past her lines. But it is only present when she specifically speaks. Which gives us a glimpse of what iguazu was hearing. Since it’s very likely that this is actually what she sounds like but 621’s brain is able to interpret the sound as speech. It also explains his foul mood when dealing with us. That sound being at full blast would be maddening. We would basically be a walking migraine emitter.
I thought it was an issue with my phone speakers... and then it turned out it was just the dialogue. I wonder if the waveform of such high pitched whining matches that of the waveforms seen to represent Ayre.
4:27:37 A really cool detail about the fight with Ayre imo is that if you study the way she moves, she pilots the AC like a novice. Constantly overextending herself and then breaking off to build way more distance than she needs. Like she hasn't piloted an AC much before. The main reason she's still giving you trouble is just because the thing she's piloting is way sturdier than an AC and has a lot of very powerful weapons.
And when you have fought her in the simulations, you are sort of training her, in my opinion. And when we fight instead with her in the all mind ending, she is much better at fighting and piloting the AC. SImply because she knows how to fight now, from us.
From did such a good job making a voice-bound character SO hate-able. His AC design is even something a jerk like him would 100% use. Still, fuck Snail.
@@EnsignGeneric That's the one that absolutely sent me. I already really didn't like Allmind, but this vid actually has made me hate her even more. Especially since I hadn't noticed Walter and Carla's ACs like that in the final mission.
It's like playing the entire game, with a competent person at the helm, who actually understands the story. Wild to watch the whole thing all in one go. 12/10
You don't need a video to understand this story. The game explicitly tells you everything. They actually hold your hand through the story to make sure you don't miss literally anything.
@@agentoy6065 Yeah I dropped it after finishing chapter 2. I could see it was a masterpiece, but I just didn't have the time and patience to master another combat system this twitchy. But I will definitely be revisiting it at some point, perhaps after a revengence playthrough to get those thumbs warmed up.
I've never heard G6 Red cry out for G5 Iguazu before. It really shows how despair-filled Red is that he's calling out to such an unreliable Redgun. He just has nothing left. It's an extra layer of sadness on top of an already sad fight.
Nobody in the YT essay sphere will ever phrase "weaponized salt" with such eloquence as Vaati. Man vindicated every single emotion I've felt playing AC6. 10/10
I love the implication that Iguazu hates Raven so damn much it powers multiple c-weapons. It’s also a cool touch for Armored core for having these machines being driven by such human things such as emotions and survival instincts, it explains the mechs doing things that seem impossible such as surviving death blows. Mechs fueled by the indomitable human spirit goes unimaginably hard
yeah like in For Answer where you can defeat White Glint in Hard Mode. Before it comes back to life in full health all the while boosting around like normal.
That really is what core theory was supposed to mean I guess. The indomitable human spirit, the spirit with enough power to inherit the stars is what truly makes an AC powerful. That human spirit isn’t something an A.I can recreate so easily. The only thing that holds us back as a species is our frail bodies, but even then after losing several limbs we still fight on with amplified fury and aggression that has never before been witnessed by the universe. Combine the unwavering power of a human spirit with the equally formidable body of an Armored core, and you truly see what mankind’s prime potential looks like. You see exactly why from the start, the stars were our birthright.
@@xeta2466 This reminds me. In connection with the reply above yours, Iguazu's Spiral Energy must've spiked like hell there.(edit: Spiral Energy in Gurren Lagann is mostly colored green.) Yes, this is furthering the Gurren Lagann connection.
4:19:49 I think the line from V1 Freud where he says “you fight like a hound on a hunt, at this altitude I’d expected a scavenger bird” could be a subtle acknowledgment that in the Fires of Raven ending, C4-621 is more of Walter’s Hound than a Raven. It’s just a nice detail in the dialogue
Glad I could help out with a very small part of this project! It'll be nice to have something to listen to over the week, and that intro animation was amazing!
I remember watching all of your alternate/hidden/cut ac6 dialogues when the game first came out, pleasant surprise to see you helped with this monstrosity
For being bodyless voices, the connections we formed to Ayre and Rusty are crazy. I felt genuinely like a terrible person for fighting them in the destroy ending.
@@saif-gv6gl bruh forgot phone sex lines exist... dudes will simp for disembodied voices, this predates fromsoft entirely. Dudes are horny bastards, this is just a fact.
The Rusty fights are 100% gut wrenching, I can’t take that there’s no ending where he lives. I’m expecting From will probably do something like they did with previous Armored Cores, and make a game with story for each ending, if it’s feasible for them anyway
Thank you so much for your tireless work promoting and celebrating this series. I would not be an Armored Core fan today if not for you and your videos!
This man really just dropped a 5+ hour lore video so casually. I've literally just started playing AC6 for the first time and it's so much fun. Perfect timing 🔥
@@pownotthere You're right! I only watched the story overview section of the vid and decided to save the rest for later. I actually just finished my first playthrough yesterday after spending all of Sunday just playing Armored Core VI, went for the Liberator of Raven ending and I'm in NG+ now! Appreciate the comments :)
Legit on my NG++ Iguazu yelled at me about how I’ve killed him several times and I’m like “I DID??” I played through again and payed closer attention lmao almost felt bad for the dude
"Show yourself, Freelancer!" "Who are you?" "I am a Redgun, a great pilot, better than all of you" "well if that's true, you would think I'd have heard of you" "I attacked you literally last week... we've done battle like, 20 times?" "well you must have been really bad at this"
the saddest part about iguazu is that his allies at the red guns genuinely cared about him but he doesnt care about them at all he cares about is killing you, volta g6 red michigan all genuinely cared about him
And it's a freaking huge ship. The size of a real large city or bigger. Millions of people could live in it. Even looking at Rubicon I always feel like billions of humans live in those megastructures
Conceptually, even if you have cryostasis, something like a ship city would still be a reasonable option for the simple reason that things can go wrong and an awake city ship is in a better place to deal with that even if getting people out of stasis early is an option
@@KaisaCantCommunicatebut in AC the story is very upfront. Especially this game. Yes there lore texts that is hidden, but if you notice the majority of this video is in-game cutscenes or characters dialogue. Stuff that anyone can see if you play the game. I’ve gotten all of these videos in game too. Normally FromSoft games the lore is very cryptic and leaves a lot to interpretation. But here everything is basically what you see is what’s happening
@@brandonjones5879 maybe you're right. there are in-game dialogs & cutscenes. maybe the action overwhelmed me @ my first playthrought & i couldn't connect item-discribtion, in-game-dialogs & group-relation😃 i mean i.e. i didn't realized walter is the scientist's son & carla a kind of co-worker or that that one image-data is showing michigan, nile, iguazu and so on
I think it's honestly one of FromSoft's best stories. The characters are so memorable. Michigan, Snail, Walter. I love how good of a rival Iguazu is. My man was fueled by hatred.
I was enjoying the video, 10 min have passed, hear Vaati say that he would go misson by misson, proceed to check how much of the video is left, I sh*t my pants
This is probably well known but I haven’t seen anyone mention it, Honest Brute says “slow, slow, quick, quick, slow” which if you’re familiar with classical dance is clearly the basic count for a tango. Don’t know why brute likes the tango but it’s a detail I love
Some say "Time to Tango" (or just to dance) before going toe to toe with someone, for example, in battle. They probably link the intimacy and closeness associated with the dance to close-quarter-combat
@@lucakoselj7123for someone who considers themselves not very good at anything, it blew my mind how people put the game down at the helicopter and my dumbass beat the game multiple times.
What a treat, thank you to everyone that worked on this. For those interested in AC6 lore I also can't recommend enough the video titled "AC6 is an allegory for Alchemy", you'll be surprised just how neatly piece after piece slots in and how much it helps explain what the whole point of the third ending is.
I swear, whoever choreographed and recorded your fights in-game are geniuses 29:05 The comedic timing against the test pilot 1:02:15 The double combo finisher with Rusty 5:00:25 The “omae wa mou shindeir” on Iguazu and landing him next to Snail + the walk up Just a few examples but these are * *chef’s kiss* *
I mean tbf while I do agree wholeheartedly, I don’t think the first one was timed that way in game, but I could be wrong. P sure they just played the voice line in post then synced the combat choreography to it.
To be fair, I always hated G1's guts because he was a stereotypical american commander. Little did I know he was still by far the better of the 2, the dude even acknowledges your might, Snail is just a scumbag all the way through.
Wait since we still are technically G13... does that mean we get the half of the bounty the killer of G1 would have? Also, that mission was tough... and made worse because my controller had drifting right thumbstick... I completed it for S-Rank eventually, but damn if it didn't take a while...
The prevailing theory I've seen about the STV sketch featuring Coldcall and Nosaac is that the third man - the one with the long, white hair - is Sulla. He fits the description of someone who would be much older, as well as the mentions that he's someone who "lives for the hunt" - in this case, hunting a man who won't pay off his debts. As for what Nosaac is holding, I think that's just the straps of a backpack or anther bag, or possibly (though less likely) a small animal. The "legs" are far too small to be a person.
Alternatively, it could be that it's the AI image generation bugging out and generating legs from nothing. It could be STV rushed that particular image seeing as they were in more immediate danger
It's more fun to not fight him because then he's upset that you previously ignored him when he attacks you with Balteus. Then you shoot him down like he doesn't even matter because realistically, at this point in the story he doesn't.
"You were a mistake, Iguazu" what a burn... Finally I have a video to show to all my friends who didn't pay much attention to the story and now say that AC6 was fun, but has no story to talk about. All I need now is a way to trick them into watching a 6 hour video.... Watching this really brought back all the emotions from my first (three) playthrough.
I don't understand how people can say this game has no story. This is the most straightforward story Fromsoft ever made How you're gonna convince your friends to watch a 6 hour video? Crazy
"I hope you watched this in segments." Uh... I adored this video. Someone else commented that it's like playing the game except there's someone competent at the helm who actually understands the story, and I cannot agree more with that sentiment. Congratulations to you and your team; this is a phenomenal piece of work. I cannot fathom how much went into this video. Just. Wow.
16:47 I’ve always had a head cannon that 621 was mute as a side effect of their augmentation, like how some AC pilots went insane in the earlier games due to excessive augmentation.
I am actually in love with the lore of this game. Something about the interconnected web of characters, their conflicting goals, their humanity getting lost in the violence of war, your place in the middle of it all...Walter is just still a heart broken young boy that was denied a real family, and he has to bear this burden of responsibility to burning the coral. Iguazu is psychologically damaged from his time in the Redguns, but Michigan is emotionally incapable of allowing anyone to feel good, despite caring for them all deeply. Maeterlinck's goddamn cries for help that go unreplied by the brutal Snail. There is so much humanity in this game about robots shooting the shit out of each other, it is incredible. And that's before you even start to look at the themes, the classical references, the philosophical ideas about humanity and consciousness, and so on. It's so rich. I would actually love it if they made a companion anime series to this game, a bit like they did with cyberpunk, but I think this has the potential to be way better and more thought provoking, as good as cyberpunk was. Anyway, such an amazing piece of work you've done here - an hour in and loving all the detail, the cross referencing, the footage, everything. Even the analysis of the pencil sketches. Amazing stuff. It’s motivating me to go finish ng++!
The subtle details such as specific weapon descriptions, AC loadouts, and data logs scattered around the world as well as the solid environmental storytelling give life and worldbuilding to a world without a human (or alien) face.
@@VictorIV0310 yeah totally, even the AC names and decals, it's crazy. Rather than the sprawling narratives of Elden Ring/Bloodborne, which are obviously also amazing but point in many different directions with loose ends, AC6 lore makes me think of a sort of self-contained puzzle box, all these pieces fitting together, across ng cycles, dialogue lines that only make sense in conjunction with about 5 other item descriptions, etc. And yes, even though there is not a single face seen in AC6, it is all about the character interactions, their motivations, their goals, like some sort of elborate novel/opera with 30 characters in it. And that's only possible with extremely economical story telling. We are told exactly what we need to be told, and that's all.
Man I'm glad someone else said it, because I've been thinking this would be perfect for a companion anime since it released. The vocal direction in the game is so stellar that if they got the same VAs back I bet they'd be able to run with any script and a different director and still turn in top tier performances. Every character is so distinct that coloring in around their margins would flow so naturally.
@@taylorfielder8940I’ve been looking for a mecha anime that has the same serious vibe and concerns cutthroat corporations battling it out using mercenaries in the far future but I’ve found nothing close. I really want an anime with a similar setting or a direct adaptation/spinoff would be incredible.
I never finished AC6, life got in the way for the most part. But having this play while working was exactly what I needed to understand the story. Subbed.
I think the reason why rusty calls himself 8th gen augment is because since he grew up eating meal worms containing coral, and that he's also talented as a ac pilot, he could probably get away with what his skill is. Thus imitating the augmenting process in a much slower way
Coral augmentation isn't done through just coral ingestion, otherwise the dosers would be kicking our shit in. Its cybernetics that use coral to help transmit data between the ac and pilot better. Also yeah 8th gen doesn't use coral, they already fully switched to non-coral augmentation by the time 7th gen augmentation came around, while 5th to 6th gen were the transition generations where they experimented with alternatives to coral.
@@pot3to444 no, they switched alternatives by the time 5th gen augmentation happened, but we don't see anyone of the 5th and 6th gen because all those people are probably dead.
@@krumplin8992 I watched it again after I woke up. It just dropped at a stupidly late hour, _way_ too late for a 5.5-hour lore video, and Vaati's voice is _really_ soothing.
Just finished watching, and all I have to say is a huge thank you for you and everyone involved in this video for making it possible. The camera shots and the action scenes rerecorded could make some action movies jealous, the gathering of all the info, the sense of detail, everything was on point, and absolutely amazing. It made me want to jump back into the game once again, so thank you. I hope From Software plans to make more Amored Core games in the future.
Six days seeing this video on and off. Wow. This game sure knows how to make you feel for people, without even showing you a single face. All you have are voices, and the ACs they drive.
For me, one of the best moments is when G6 Red 5:02:40- starts to have a ptsd breakdown and instead of going on a psychotic rage like most media portrays ptsd, it instead shows the effect realistically, through a mix of paranoia and stern resolve to survive the situation. It also shows how hierarchy is so important in times of chaos and how it can control/weaponize the effect of paranoia, but this is a tangent i'm going on. G6 Red was stranded on hostile ground, refusing to surrender. If G2 Nile or G1 Michigan were alive and negotiated surrender he wouldn't be fighting his last stand, but as the commanders of the hierarchy were not alive to negotiate, its not in the lower military ranks mind to be able to surrender, to negotiate safe passage or other logistics of war. Instead much like the real life ww2 japanese soldier that stayed in the island for years after the war is over, the stranded warrior knows only to fight, to assess threats, to dance in the tune of the threater of war others have made for them.
This is single handedly the greatest lore video ever made. Its production value was incredible. I felt more like I was watching a professional documentary than some massive exposition dump. Fantastic work. You have EARNED my like/sub.
@@Argaris1 I mean the eng dub was very very flat on the jap version they actually have feelings xD idk on one hand I like that they talk almost like they are an email more than a call like this is just another day of work but on the other hand maybe give it some soul the jap version had that
@@Argaris1 I mean, IM a deaf weab, for sure. Hard of hearing? Check. Likes anime? Check. But even IM not tryin to have a sub vs. dub argument over a fukin lore video...
1:07:20 I like the theory of Rusty being a non augmented human. It kinda reminds me of Solaire, who was always ahead of the chosen undead, even though the equipment he had was just normal armor, sword and shield. Which could also be a similarity to Rusty, who prefers basic kinetic weapons instead of advanced laser weapons.
@ssjAnnaPaquin that's what I was thinking too, that he is just so darn good that he has to say he is augmented just so people don't see how talented he truly is.
Fantastic work Vaati. This was the best lore vid for AC I've ever seen. I'm glad you guys were able to show off the subtext that usually goes unnoticed in AC in such a presentational manner. Thanks for all the hard work. It was the most enjoyable 5.5 hours of AC content I've watched and I'd do it again.
54:08 Considering how everything that happens in NG++ is a result of ALLMIND's plans, it always seemed obvious that she was the one who sent the c-weapons in.
Peak song choice. Appreciate you sticking around to delve into this story. In some ways it's the most up front blunt story telling we've gotten from modern From, and still there's intricate connections. Painful details. Tragic secrets. Cheers dud.
Something about the ending of this game got really emotionally invested. Despite the story being told through voice lines and journal logs, the characters and their voice acting were incredible. Ac6 is an amazing game
For some reason i really imagine the game as being very small projects for the voice actors, especially considering that the story dialogues are a bit short compared to most games, but i still felt like all the voice actors nailed their roles wc i imagine must be very hard since the story is so obtuse, but small roles like chatty, honest brute, those minor balam mts pilots, rakumonsen, etc, they all just seem to be working on the same level as the main cast. All around impressive work!
@@ClaimClam Cry more purist, some of us will never understand Japanese enough to play the game without a translation. The Voicework is great in English too and the actors deserve praise
The ultimate armored core experience: using this vid at the moment as bg noise for building machines in ac4a and programming UNACs in VD. Vibing. Playing armored core. Chuckling at jokes and noticing stuff i hadnt in my full playthrough.
This is incredible - as an AC veteran I've been waiting for a game with a focus on plot. I'm glad you shone a spotlight on all the thought thats been put into the story for this game.
Liberator of rubicon in a nutshell: Walter/Carla: “621 burn the coral to stop another disaster” 621: “There’s a lady in my head that calls me stud muffin”
The AC6 DLC in a nutshell: Player: *invades Rubicon III* *receives message* Ayre: "This is the operator of the Rubicon Planetary Closure System. You are trespassing on Rubicon III. Pull back immediately... or we will respond with lethal force" Player: "Holy sh*t it's that stud muffin and his vtuber gf"
Fires of raven in a nutshell: "sorry arye you are allways nice to me, but i must follow genocidal orders from that old man tha always mistreats me and calls me doggie, you and your kin must be burned along with this planet and others beside it"
When I first heard Walter say "find your freedom", I genuinely got shivers and goosebumps. This was the moment that made me realize just how incredible AC6 is.
This was amazing. You can really tell the love that was put into this, from the "re-cams" of other characters doing stuff in the world at the same time as the player, the cinematography, the way it was written and voiced, the way parts were edited for emphasis, the explanation and comparisons to real world counterparts and references. Thank you, to all that worked on it. I was a joy to experience.
I have to say, as someone who loves watching your lore videos while eating, i always wanted longer format videos for these beautiful worlds too. This was a wonderful watch mate, know that you're appreciated.
Holy- I have watched through ALL of it in one sitting. From the intro animations to Iguazu's salt powering the ALLMIND AC. And the music used, from AC6's Disc 03 soundtrack to the ones from Armored Core for Answer which I immediately recognized. The amount of effort and cinematic shots put in this video truly goes beyond those scorched skies.
I didn't realize the video was 5 and a half hours long until i was 2 and a half hours in. I personally loved this game more than Elden Ring. It moved me much more emotionally in a way a game hasnt since i was a child. Thank you for all of the content you produce. I've never done a super thanks before but to not recognize the importance of this piece to not just the AC community or Fromsoft community but the gaming and entertainment industry as a whole would be criminal. Thank you and I cannot wait to see what else is in store for you.
I was beginning to think that, due to AC6 being not as popular as the other FS games, he just kinda gave up on it and went to work on projects that would get more views. Glad to know I was wrong!
I mean you never know the UA-cam algorithm, a lot of times the highest quality content of stuff that aren't much well known get a lot of attention. Well we'll see how the video performs.
Holy shit. I hope this will help more people appreciate the amazing story in this game. I've heard way too many complaints that the game has no story which has consistently baffled me considering just how invested I was in the plot and characters.
thought about "no story" @ my first playthrought. these mission by mission breaks didn't help. i just knew that fromsoft is allways deep & luckyly there are items (data logs) & vaatividya
@christopherlyndsay8611 yeah it is easily their most accessible stories. It has very defined, talkative characters that explain a lot to you and also make the story way more intriguing bc they all have cool motivations. If you get the NG++ ending I think it's one of FromSoft's most satisfying stories overall.
You really are something! I've always enjoyed your lore videos and this one is another home run. Thank you and everyone else working with you for this incredible story telling 🙏
This was a really amazing video to watch. I enjoyed AC6 immensely more than I'd expected, and the story was one of the high points. I'm terrible at piecing together the little lore details on the fly, so I really enjoyed this video for spotting all these threads and tying them together. The visuals you've used were amazing, and I am in awe of the skill shown, in not just showing the most awesome moments of the most exciting fights, but really elevating them with the timing and camera work. Thank you and everyone involved for putting this together!
Glad you took the time to make this video. This game is the first non-indie game I've taken the time to 100% in like a decade, its honestly incredible. I knew FromSoft for AC (specifically AC3) before I ever bothered to try the Souls games and I'm glad to see its made a comeback after so long.
2:21:55 I think its not just a sea as we know it. Just like the Rubiconians calling the Coral extraction points "Wells", I theorize that the RRI classified the Sea Spider for the Sea of Coral. Maybe it was meant to enter the coral and interface with it? Maybe it was meant to go into the actual sea to search for Coral? I do recall it being mentioned that water tends to associate with Coral Veins. Maybe the Seas are no exception under correct circumstances.
@ClaimClam what’re you going to say to someone that’s blind and listening to this? I’m really curious. As someone who listens to Subs more often than Dubs, the Dub of this game is nice; I’d even say quite good. And as someone who listens to the Subs, shut your mouth hole and stop this pedantic gatekeeping in the comments.
I also loved the music you put in specific situations; disc 3 music for corresponding subjects on screen. TAKES ME ANYWHERE for the finale too! Good stuff man
Vaati you are the man. It is so nice as an old-school AC fan who really loves this game to see you put your hard work into putting the story so well and I feel that a lot of even the cut content stuff is sort of quietly implied and I feel the way you pointed it out really makes that apparent.
Aww, you missed one of the best interactions at 4:22:20 ! If you assault boost directly at him, as soon as the cut scene ends, Rusty does the same thing. And if you don't break off, or attack, he just headbutts you, and its just so perfect for the whole scenario.
Mispap did a great job creating so many of these cinematics. Which scenes were some of your favourites? I'll add them to the list below:
35:13- Attack the Dam Complex Fight Scene
1:52:20- Balteus Fight Scene
Ice worm fight-3:21:26
Intercept the Redguns-3:49:03
3:53:43- Fighting Rusty
4:08:09- Walter’s Legacy
Rusty is the goat!
Waited for this for a long time. Keep up the amazing work!
Thanks for this awesome work. Next: Elden ring new DLC 😂
The cutaway to the far shot when iguazu shuts out allmind is just * chefs kiss * so good

The cumulative man-hours that must’ve gone into creating this is wild to think about. Amazing job to everyone involved.

Killed it!
I'm willing to bet that even allmind and the c-weapons were in on it too

"It's just Rummy, you know the deal."

Thanks for watching everyone! Working on this video really gave me a deep appreciation for AC6 and its characters, so I hope our retelling of this epic story can reveal things you missed and help you appreciate this amazing game even more. Would love to hear which mission was your favorite so lmk down below😁
The Balteus fight, for its pure brutality and unforgiving nature (Day 1 Balteus that is)
The Ice Worm for the Plot Twist, knowing what Coral *truly is*
And any of the Three Final Missions for setting your fate..and your overall morale for the Coral
Walter's story before mission 47 and reaching the coral convergence, the lore dump was amazing in game

Holy shit it’s the guy who doesn’t have a big nose!!
🤯
VERY INTERESTING 🤔 I'm gonna have to listen for it now.

I thought it was an issue with my phone speakers... and then it turned out it was just the dialogue. I wonder if the waveform of such high pitched whining matches that of the waveforms seen to represent Ayre.

Saturday, xcom long war and a good night
That would explain why so many of my awful energy weapon/laser slicer builds worked so well on her.
"Snail's base of operation, within the sewers where he belongs..."

I love the implication that Iguazu hates Raven so damn much it powers multiple c-weapons. It’s also a cool touch for Armored core for having these machines being driven by such human things such as emotions and survival instincts, it explains the mechs doing things that seem impossible such as surviving death blows. Mechs fueled by the indomitable human spirit goes unimaginably hard
yeah
like in For Answer where you can defeat White Glint in Hard Mode.
Before it comes back to life in full health all the while boosting around like normal.
Iguazu is fueled by Gurren Lagann logic: their mechs are powered by the will of the pilot
The energy it gives off is even green, dude is so green with envy you can SEE it.

And it's a freaking huge ship. The size of a real large city or bigger. Millions of people could live in it. Even looking at Rubicon I always feel like billions of humans live in those megastructures
I think it's supposed to be a reference to the older series 4 games, where they had the giant walking or flying city bases that you had to assault
Conceptually, even if you have cryostasis, something like a ship city would still be a reasonable option for the simple reason that things can go wrong and an awake city ship is in a better place to deal with that even if getting people out of stasis early is an option

I feel like Vaati agrees with me that "Steel Haze (Rusted Pride)" is the best track in the game.
The remix on disk 3 is even better.
I think the reason why rusty calls himself 8th gen augment is because since he grew up eating meal worms containing coral, and that he's also talented as a ac pilot, he could probably get away with what his skill is. Thus imitating the augmenting process in a much slower way
And here I was, about to post this same message.
That's the problem, 6+ don't use Coral
Coral augmentation isn't done through just coral ingestion, otherwise the dosers would be kicking our shit in. Its cybernetics that use coral to help transmit data between the ac and pilot better. Also yeah 8th gen doesn't use coral, they already fully switched to non-coral augmentation by the time 7th gen augmentation came around, while 5th to 6th gen were the transition generations where they experimented with alternatives to coral.
@@pot3to444 well, to be fair, the dosers use pretty shit tech compared to 621.

How is it quality to use the low quality English dub version not the superior and original JAPANESE audio

Could’ve been good if he actually used the original Japanese version , not the shoddy English knockoff dub

Rusty is inside the allmind list of augmented humans
A better comparison would be Jetstream Sam
The English voice acting is a joke, the real story is the Original Japanese
I agree also the ost was filled with emotion too I loved most of them
For some reason i really imagine the game as being very small projects for the voice actors, especially considering that the story dialogues are a bit short compared to most games, but i still felt like all the voice actors nailed their roles wc i imagine must be very hard since the story is so obtuse, but small roles like chatty, honest brute, those minor balam mts pilots, rakumonsen, etc, they all just seem to be working on the same level as the main cast. All around impressive work!
@@ClaimClam ?

Then maybe you can help me, I'm searching for the song that plays at the very end with the coral collapse and release but I couldn't find it so far
Well we'll see how the video performs.
but somehow ac pvp is loosing popularity these days

I have no idea why people would say this game has no story. I thought it was extremely straightforward, especially compared to the souls games.
Only people who lack the attention to listen to dialogue think that AC6 has no story. You don’t need a single log to get a clear picture of the story.

I think it was a pun. Sea Spider = C-Spider.
Iguazu: You took everything from me!!!
