Korn was once my favorite band. And I mean I seriously loved them and thought that they were the coolest guys ever! Korn got me through some really hard times as a teen. Yeah I was around 14-15 when I first heard them and I had just turned 17 when I fell in love with the band. When Follow the Leader was released and my best friend took me to see them live I instantly fell in love with the music, the band and whole experience of Korn. A few years later I would get lost in life and kind of grow apart from Korn's music and even all music in general. Even though I did not listen to them that much anymore they always had a spot in my heart. When I heard that Head has left the band I thought " WFT? It's just not the same Korn without Munky, Head, JD and my man Fieldy!". David Silveria always seemed like the 5th wheel to me so when he left the band that wasn't THAT surprising. I mean he just seem like he was just there for the job, ya know? He never really seemed to be part of the clique of Korn. Plus Silveria was a complete douchebag! Even so, with Head leaving the band I felt that Korn just wasn't what it used to be and I could probably never get into the music like I had before. I mean I was a teenager through most of my love affair with Korn. But then Head came back and it truly feels like Korn has come back. I'm 37 now and I'm finding myself falling in love with Korn all over again after all these years. Man it's been such a long trip. A long and weird life. You change and you grow and you follow life wherever it takes you and then things seem to always come back full circle in the end. Things always seem to work themselves out. Korn is still the coolest fucking band on the planet!
Silveria is an important piece of the old band though he was definitely not just in it for a job he came to them when he was a little kid. Im guessing he just grew out of playing the same type of music his whole life.
@@walmartian422 this and apparently the producers and studios started to get involved in the process and they stopped writing together and just jamming. They also told silveria to tone down his drumming. So I understand why he left the band
I see a Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in these guys' future. After 21 years they're still going hard like this, maybe the most intense, energetic live performing rock band of all time. Oh, and they spawned an entire decade of rock's most popular music.
jonathan's grandaddy was one of badass soldier, who fought in world war 2 and survived the bataan death march... thanks very much for the service, big love here from Philippines, love you KORN
One of my all time fav bands! Saw them live a couple of times, fucking loud, love it. Saw them play with Dave, Joey (Jordison) and Ray, with and without Head. All the shows were fantastic.
Hey that’s me getting engaged on stage! Haha you have no idea how much of a memorable moment this was for me the members of Korn and there music has played a very large role in my life. I will never forget the memories they’ve shared with me along the way.

getting my korn on with this documentary its getting me psyched about them coming to Miami Beach can't wait its my birthday present to myself and my fiance who has never been to see a korn show this is going to be awesome
2014 was really KoRn's year. They owned it and I'm so glad they're back in their game. They may not be as amazingly kickass as back in 1996, but they sure look like it.
I think korn continues to rock even after 2001...they did change a bit but they have manage to bring some loyal fans along with them and made a new following.
First heard Freak on a Leash in 1999 when I was in year 11. Saved up and bought the album. You guys have gotten me through some of the worst times in institutions when patients around me were completing killing themselves. Going through the worst emotional pain now because baby daddy has taken my daughter and won’t give her back. Been working in healthcare most of my adult life. At the career crossroads. In the application process for a double bachelors degree in criminology and forensic psychology next year. I’m so grateful that you guys exist and love your music ❤
seeing john with his kids on stage and the energy in his face when he gives his last shout on the blast-beat ending was amazing and made my eyes water.
If you ever get a chance to see a show at Red Rocks: DO IT. It sounds amazing, it’s incredibly beautiful and like Jonathan said, you’re right on top of the band. Not a bad seat in the house. Peace.
Gotta a whole new respect for Korn. Always liked them but it's nice to see them have their lives on track and come back and kick ass. They're also the only band I can ever think of that revolves around the bass and drums, rather than guitar and singer. Great video.
