I just realized in the last scene, Jojo's the one running to Yorki instead of Yorki running to him :-(((( idk what that means story-wise but that's a fun little detail
you never know you loved someone until they're (presumably) dead. Jojo running over to Yorkie was basically the embodiment of that, his relief of Yorkie still living waas immense. The acting is absolutely wonderful in this movie.
I've seen this film far too many times already but just stumbling across these clip on UA-cam made me sad, smile and laugh in under 4 mins before 7am on a Saturday (no mean feat). It's a work of art, Taika is a genius, we are lucky to have him.
Can I just say that I love the children's accents? Especially Yorkie's inflections and the way he pronounces Jojo as DschoDscho sounds so much like a german kid learning English. (Though it sounds like a german kid trying to say Jojo with an English pronounciation, since in German you'd say it like Yoyo)
