For sure! One of his best! Whatch it when it came out, and about 10 minutes in I decided I had to see every movie this director was ever going to make. The counselor is an incredible movie. It's a dream team. Cormac Mccarthy screenplay, Ridley directed, and one of the best casts in history. People just cannot handle dark raw movies. They need happy endings

I wished he break down "All The Money In The World", one of his most underrated movies ever. It'd be interesting to hear how he handled a last minute decision of recast for the late Christopher Plummer just a few weeks before the scheduled release after Kevin Spacey, the original actor for J Paul Getty was fired due to his allegations. The fact that Scott and Plummer pulled it off in a very short time and everything went smoothly without noticing a huge change is truly remarkable
REMARKABLE?? He dumped Spacey because he was scared! For no reason he betrayed him and contributed to his downfall!! That was his first strike. Since then he became arrogant, senile and awful person and director. He does not deserve to be called Sir!
I never tire of The Guvnor, I don’t love every film, but I like most of them, adore others and a few are among the greatest in cinema, so yeah, he has earned my respect and movie ticket money.
Anyone that was disappointed in "Napoleon" should do yourself a big favor and watch "The Duelists". His best film in my opinion, every scene is like a beautiful oil painting and the story effortlessly hits the period piece without skimping on the entertainment either.
He is completely unapologetic and honest about how regards himself as a director and his filmography. Whether you agree with him or not, you have to admit it’s preferable to the fake self-deprecation most Hollywood personalities do.
He's probably the most authentic person in Hollywood, never afraid of say he really thinks and very confident about the things he makes. The film industry could use more directors like Scott, and not just for his directing skills.

So glad he mentioned LEGEND. It's a beautiful film and well done way before the special effects we have now. The whole film was built and filmed on a set in London. The diving into the lagoon was filmed in Florida. Great soundtracks even though there are two. I prefer the Tangerine Dream version which was used for American audiences and the other soundtrack was in Europe. Everyone was fantastic, but Tim Curry is just an Icon!
