I honestly wanna learn Korean for all the reasons, like for traveling so I can talk to natives, for education purposes, I love their culture, and because I like kpop too so I wanna understand the songs as well as kdramas.....oh and webtoons👀
Yeah some songs in Kpop are SO touching, and it feels like i’m making fun of it when I try to sing. It’s just deep once you get the lyrics.

The “Talk To Me in Korean” app is also VERY GOOD 너무 좋아해요 and it has a pdf attached for example sentences and more explanation but the best part is it’s completely ✨ F R E E ✨ (not an ad😂)

I learned writing hangeul for 1 night because of "write korean" then A day after that night I practiced reading, within 3 days I improved!

just a heads up, duolingo’s korean translations aren’t always accurate and the pronunciations are sometimes off so be careful with that
@@kyleethomas5507 actually i stopped using the Duolingo Korean course, i personally thought it went to fast and not detailed enough. my cousin does use the Korean-learning-English course and she says that's helpful, but i don't use it for Korean

When I was younger I wanted to be a language interpreter, and now I’m older and getting into Korean music etc made me want to learn the language. I also want to go there so I think it’d be so cool to speak and communicate with others!!

After a long time of thinking, I've decided to start learning Korean over the summer rather than now and I will only let myself learn it now if I complete all my school assignments and study for Spanish before, cause my school life is not doing very well and I could use this to motivate me

Drops for vocabulary
Write Korean for writing
Simply also for vocabulary
A translator
And a flash cards app

tbh write it! korean works so well. depending on your pace of learning, you can get used to the words really fast. using drop after really helped too. After getting to lesson 10 on write it,, the words i learned on drop felt easier to learn🥰

Thanks to this video, I went and tried Teuida, and wow it's awesome! I already bought the one month premium (though I didn't realise the amount was in USD and not NZD, so it was much more expensive than I thought ;;;-;) and I'm excited to improve my pronunciation! I've actually been studying on and off for 2 years now, but since it's all self study I've had very little conversation practice. So it's just super helpful to have a speaking tool that's interactive.

While studying I also used such apps, now I already give Korean lessons on Izispik(an online platform), pretty happy about the outcome cuz you don't necessarily need to have a degree or certificate. They are hiring Korean teachers now. Plus, it’s commission free for teachers😉
I prefer learning Korean by study books and writing them down by hand. It’s mainly because every app I’ve gone to skips the important parts of Hangul, and instead skips to words instead of explaining each singular syllable instead, and how they stack as syllable blocks, how the “ng” sound is silent if it’s the first syllable, how there’s connected consonants, etc. I’ve actually tried Eggbun before, and it went straight to words instead of the pronunciation and writing strokes of the syllables. Also as I progressed, it asked me to pay to continue. But I’ll try checking out a few of the apps you’ve recommended :3

i used to know so much about korean last summer until school started back up and it really threw me off, i forgot everything besides the bts songs ofc. i started back learning it a few weeks ago before i see bts in LA and these apps really helped. it’s also a good idea to write things down or put it in your notes, I’m still learning some stuff (literally going over it again rn). i feel like these apps really help foreign army’s actually understand the lyrics to their songs

IT'S THE BEST APP EVER
The best app for learning Korean is “Teuida” because if you enable microphone and speak into the speaker they will be able to hear you voice say the word that your learning. And also Nancy from Momoland is in it as well.

Uh might as well share the apps that i used, and is very effective!
Firstly, i started learning korean just by searching "korean words" at pinterest HAHAHA ++ Kdramas!!
Lingodeer- the first part is free, the rest is you need to pay (i didn't purchase tho lol) this helps me on the alphabets, vowels and consonants since they have a test there.
KORLINK- lastly lol, well this really helped me alot. You'll have a teacher that helps you so yep, its free guys!

Duolingo is an really good app to use for any language I’m using it for French and Korean and I love the app try it out it’s called Duolingo
