I forgot to mention in the video that you should ALWAYS swap your Drain Bolt Gasket with each oil change!! They are cheap and keep the oil in your pan 👍. Also, check your owner's manual to get the correct Type of Oil AND Oil Capacity for your vehicle!
I’m pretty sure u did do it but you forgot to mention the drain plug gasket. A really important 10 cent piece that if u don’t use can leak oil and spend more money on a new motor. But good video. I’m a Toyota tech and if u have any questions please lmk or if u want parts at a discount we can work something out
@ricastar2931 I definitely do replace them at every oil change, but I totally forgot to mention that in the video! Thanks for pointing that out, and I will keep your profile name in my notes if I ever need some help with something Toyota related 🤙
Wow this looks super easy. I live in an tiny apartment sadly so I don't have a place to really do car work without them yelling at me, but it's silly that I have to bicker with them at the dealership for their free services so they do the oil change every 5k.
@mikeydude750 The free dealer service is nice, but it's only up to 20/25k miles iirc. Not being able to do your own work at an apt is a pain for sure...I've been there. If you have a friend nearby or a place that may okay to prop up a car for that type of work, then I think that'll be your best option.
Thanks! I explained why in the video, but to elaborate further, I usually buy 5 quarts, but had two 1 quarts so bought 3 others cause there was no need for a big 5 quart.
I ordered stainless brake lines and clutch line along with some rbf600. Yet I have never done a brake line install or even a brake fluid flush. Any tips for that on the GR?
Can't give you tips on a brake or clutch line install on the GR at the moment, BUT I do have a how for the brake fluid flush in my GR brake replacement video

Nice car, would like to know why would you buy motor oil in one quart small bottles instead of one 5 quarts big bottle?
